Ron came out to give us an estimate. We had them put in turf in our backyard. We couldn't use the real grass because it didn't grow well, and we have 16 cats in our fully enclosed cat safe yard and some were pooping there. It looks fantastic and only once so far did anyone poop on it. It was so easy to clean. I don't think they like it for that but like rolling around on it. We left our sprinklers in and working to help in keep it clean. The crew did such a nice job giving us a slightly mounded look and they did all kinds of cleanup of leaves on our side patio and even netting leaves out of the pool. If you like your neighbor. Do not use this company. I just had both my cars, detailed, and the workers that were installing the grass instead of using a broom and sweeping up the mess. They just blew it into my yard and all over my cars. I asked the guy nicely to stop and when I went inside he continues and I came back out and asked him to blow my cars off when he's finished. Before Always Green Turf: Almost got stuck with a landscape company that we signed a contract. They wanted to keep up charging us even after the fact that we signed a contract. When we had emailed that company to confirm they would not upcharge us so that we can sign the addendum that they had made a mistake on the first contract, they came back at us saying they needed $2K more. This other landscape company kept telling us how small a job we were and didn't value our project. At which we asked them to void the contract completely. We had to start fresh again. We went a different direction- instead of finding a one stop shop, we found specialists to come quote us. Two Turf companies and one Paver company. I appreciated each of those companies time and employees. We ended up choosing Always Green Turf! Every step of the way we had peace of mind that we were valued as a customer no matter how small our project (yard) was. Dale was the one who came out to provide us the estimate. He communicated promptly and let us know exactly what was going to happen. He even pointed out things for us to consider since we have a toddler and came up with the idea to round the trees! He truly had us the customer in mind. Now what's wonderful is that it didn't stop at Dale. The person selling you has to butter you up so that we choose them. But the crew who showed up to work our yard was impeccable. I saw the crew showing up a little before start, all dressed in their logo'd shirt/sweaters. (This makes it even more relevant that this is their crew and not some subcontractors) Manuel showed up with a crew of 12! We've had artificial turf install twice. First at a home in Arizona, and most recently in Westminster California by Halo Turf. Both required about the same area to be covered, about 700sqft. The first in Arizona was not a difficult area to be covered, basically one area 550 sqft & the second 150sqft; the crew did a good installation, but took longer than expected. The second area in California comprised three areas around a manufactured home in a mobile home park, and more technical installation than the first in Arizona. Halo Turf crew was very professional, arrived early and got right to it. The crew consisted of 8 installers, that had obviously worked together awhile. Every person knew exactly their task and there were no delays as the work proceeded. The entire project was completed in 7 hours. I highly recommend Halo Turf be considered when looking to have artificial turf installed. Give Dave Fosmire a call, you will not be disappointed. He arrived to survey the area, addressed all concerns & presented a detailed quote with several options we discussed. Dave returned as the work proceeded to check on the progress, and again after the crew had left to do a final inspection.
