We hired Halo Turf to do our front and side yards and Dave was awesome from start to finish. They were very competitive, provided a thorough proposal, and the communication was outstanding! They completed the job in one day and their work was flawless! We had turf installed in our backyard from another company six months ago and the differences between the two companies were like night and day. If you are considering a turf project for your home, it would behoove you to reach out to Dave and Halo Turf. read more

Stop looking for turf and call Dave Fosmire! Dave came out on a Saturday to show us some samples. He listened to our goals and made some recommendations. We signed the contract and we're ready to go. We could not be happier with the install, the crew was great. Dave showed up to review the design with his team, and within a few hours the backyard was transformed. They totally exceeded our expectations and were able to get it all done much sooner than we planned within our budget. Highly recommend Dave +1 (714) 733-3203. You will be happy. read more

Paul and his team did a wonderful job. Now we have a front lawn that we can be proud of! Definitely a five star job

Great communication. Good value. Very professional. Willing to work with customers. Nice turf options

I had them put turf into my backyard and ultimately it got done. However, it took about 8 weeks from initial appointment until the final visit. Pros: -They ultimately made it right and fixed the mistake. It took a lot of reaching out until finally I got the owner onto a text conversation with the sales guy. -I was offered about 20% off for 8 weeks of trouble, and the owner would not budge on offering anything more. I accepted just to get this done with. Cons: -The initial crew ended up cutting the turf about 8 inches too short so the put a piece to cover the gap. However, they didn't coat it all the way so there was a visible gap. -I asked for them to make sure to preserve the irrigation in the backyard but after they installed it, it didn't work anymore. They were eventually able to fix it after 3 trips. -I accepted their higher price because they had a good reputation but the end result did not reflect that. Ultimately, if I could do it again, I would have chosen a different company. They are somewhat pricy but you don't quite get the experience you'd hope for with that price. Their sales team is very convincing though. If they send an experienced crew, then you're probably fine, but if they send the crew that initially came, I'd check the work very carefully. read more

I had a great experience working with Dave converting both my front and back yards to artificial grass. He provided numerous options to choose from with a variety of prices and quality. Dave was very helpful in finding the right premium grass that met my requirements for my spaces. He is very experienced, responsive, and quickly answered all my questions from the difference of grass options and what to expect on installation day. Additionally, after shopping multiple companies, I found the price was best and highly competitive. The installation was well coordinated around my schedule and was quickly completed in a day. After job completion, my yard was cleared of all debris, and Dave inspected all the work to ensure everything looked great! My overall experience and final result turned out great I would highly recommend. read more

Always Green Turf was the first place I called when I was looking to install a putting green in my backyard. They were also the last! Paul my contact person who came out 3 times to make adjustments on what I was looking for was great. He worked with my budget, which none of the others cared to do and truly wanted us to get what we we were looking for in a putting green for the space we had. On Demo day project Mgr. Antonio was also great. I had to work on this day and he wanted to make sure he laid it out how I wanted. He FaceTimed me and gave me his ideas, which were great and I rolled with it. The following day I was off and able to help select where I wanted my holes. In the end I'm happy and they made sure I was happy with the job. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone. Thank you Paul and Antonio! -Matt read more

I should have left this review a while ago but I wanted to make sure all my issues were addressed first. Initial installation went well however months later we noticed water building up in certain areas of the turf. We didn't notice earlier due to all the rain we had been getting right after installation earlier this year. Had to call the office multiple times before I got a response. Team came out to look and the original installation team had in fact punctured our sprinkler pipes and our water had been running for months which would explain our high water bill. Btw no apology was given or solution to remedy. The crew that came out for the water was horrendous. Swearing at each other and screaming about peeing in the truck. I have 3 kids in the house hearing all this. Fast forward a couple months and my turf is now splitting from mushrooms growing underneath. I call multiple times to get someone out to fix it. Crew finally comes out and the quality of the fix was horrible. See pictures. They left without communication and left everything open and unlocked. I had to call again multiple times and ask for the owner. Waited a week for him to call and he never did so I had to call again. Mike called me back from another job we spoke briefly and he asked for a video. He called me again while I was in a meeting so I had to return his call. When he answered he was in a very loud restaurant where I told him I couldn't hear him. At this point I am very irritated that this company has treated me like garbage and the owner can't even step out of a restaurant to have a quick discussion with me. I was told he would call me back 6 days later I reached out again. Crew came today to fix the issue. So far the fix looks ok but we shall see. I was also offered a free cleaning by Joey which didn't happen today. I have gotten promised a lot from this company that never happens. Crews are late, communication is awful and there doesn't seem to be any repercussions of poor behavior or treatment of customers. If I could do this all over again I would choose another company. read more

I had put in grass sod previously, but with 2 large dogs, needless to say the sod was deteriorated over time due dogs heavy traffic and brown spots due to urine.... We had Always Green Turf come out and supplied a quote / suggestion on what product use in place of the sod. They did a amazing job by prepping the yard and hauling away the old sod. The new Always Green Turf looks amazing and real!! The dogs love it there and is low maintenance to maintain it.... I would highly recommend Always Green Turf for anyone that has dogs ...American made product and the crew did a amazing job read more

I have used Halo Turf twice now: once personally and once for my company. Both experiences were above and beyond service. Ted and his team do all they can to provide us with a positive experience and results we love. The teams were professional, courteous, and fast both times. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. Ted and his admin staff are responsive and communicate clearly ahead of time. Then they are quick to check the job, follow up, and make sure you are satisfied. As for price, the cost of turf is expensive but Halo Turf does everything within their power to give you the look and feel you want for the best deal they can. Looking to switch out our brown and grey dirt patch for something green and new, so we gave Dave Fosmire from Halo Turf a call. Dave is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Most importantly though, he is very responsive. Meaning this man gets back to you right away. That was a major selling point. Anyways, Dave provided samples and many references from around my neighborhood. And even though he left a swatch, I still wanted to see this stuff spread out and in different light. I spoke to several of these references and they spoke highly of the company, so I pulled the trigger and wasn't disappointed. Alex (installer) and his crew showed up, was professional and blew thru the install in one day. Grant my patch of dirt is small but they did a good job. Mike is super easy to work with. No pressure sales. His personality is great, making it a pleasurable experience purchasing turf. His crew is very well versed in their trade knocking out 1200sqft of turf with multiple cuts in one day. They did a thorough job ensuring no seams were showing and every edge was securely in place. We are so impressed with their job around our new pool that were having them come back to knock out our front yard. So needless to say, we highly recommend them. read more

Amazing customer service and quick! I was doing research to figure out what type of turf was available in the market and average cost. Such a wide variety but what stood out for my choice with Halo was Dave Fosmire. Dave was the only one who called prior to our estimate to gage what our family needs are so he can bring the possible samples to fit our preference. Dave was so personable, diligent about following-up, and willing to make compromises to make us happy with the experience. It's the small things he did that sealed the deal. I have not had such great customer service in such a long time, it was quite refreshing. The turf we selected was the Tiger Turf Majestic for its durability. We have 2 puppies and an elderly Lab that loves to roll around and maybe even dig so our hopes is the triple stitched reinforced backing will last longer than other brands. The turf came out overwhelmingly beautiful and we are definitely enjoying the esthetics and cleanliness. read more

I don't post many reviews but after this experience I felt I should. This could not have been a smoother process. I reached out to Dave Fosmire from Halo Turf and he was at my house and on time for our scheduled appointment within 48 hours. He looked over the area I wanted turf installed, measured it and listened to my concerns and drainage issues. He talked about adding some additional drains in some low spots to tie into my main drainage system and also tying in my downspout from my rain gutters. He then proceeded to bring out like a dozen different samples of turf. 4 or 5 different grades of turf and each with 3 different colors. I felt no up selling pressure, just a discussion about pros and cons. Went over a solution to reduce pet odors, etc. Dave was there for about an hour and left some samples for me to show my wife. About 3 hours later I had a few quote options emailed to me and I signed the contract the next morning and an install was set for a week and a half later. On the install date, Manuel and his crew of about 5 people showed up around 7:30 am and they were completely done by 3:30. I was also happy to see Dave at my house from start to finish thru-out the day. They cleaned everything up and hosed down the area. My wife (who was kind of against the whole turf thing) came home from work and said "wow, that looks really nice". I purposely waited to write this until after the big storms hit. I am in Chino Hills and after these big storms for 5 out of the last 6 days with lots of rain and hail I can happily say I have no drainage issues and the turf looks just as good as it did after install! I feel I got a great value, they did a great job and couldn't be happier with the whole sales process. My next-door neighbors liked the look of my turf so much, they will be having an install at their house in a couple weeks. If you are thinking about getting turf, make sure to call Dave Fosmire from Halo Turf at 714-733-3203. read more

Always Green Turf did an outstanding job with my backyard. They removed 675 sq ft of dead grass and replaced it with artificial turf; and it looks amazing. We went with the Tiger Turf Everglade in Olive color, which looks about as close to real grass as you can expect... and looks far more realistic / higher quality that all the other turf we see in front yards around the neighborhood. It's been a few days now and we're so happy with the choice. Nick was incredible to work with to explain the options to us, answer our questions, and get it all scheduled. He's a top notch trustworthy professional who helped distill what could have been an overwhelming set of choices down to something simple and manageable for us. Joe was our project manager, who an absolute pleasure to engage with, highly communicative, responsive, and did a great job managing our expectations for the installation. And the crew was excellent. They had to cut around a play structure in our backyard, and did an outstanding job on a fairly challenging project. Really happy we went with Always Green Turf and I highly recommend. read more

Hey everyone I had to write a review on the Turf Installation I had done by Halo Turf out of Los Alamitos. As soon as I entered my information online for an estimate I was contacted quickly and a date was set up to have the representative come out and give my project a look. I have to say I contacted a few other turf companies and as soon as they found out my square footage I was working with, they advised me the job was too small and they could not do it. I let the representative Brandon Rivera know this and he advised me no job is too small, good to know. Brandon came by my residence and took a look and gave me an estimate within a few hours along with a cost to do a putting green. The estimate looked good and a date was set up for installation which was done in one day (approx. 8 hours). I love the work, the installers were thorough and Brandon Rivera came through with everything he promised! I definitely recommend Halo Turf and Brandon Rivera! read more

We have hired this company for the 2nd time now. The first time they installed turf in our backyard and now three years later, we hired them for the front yard. I am retired. I decided to save some money by buying electric tools to do my own gardening. I didn't know electric tools are no match against St. Augustine grass. I decided to go with artificial grass instead. A neighbor referred me to Halo Turf. Dave Fosmire soon contacted me and from the first communication to the last, Dave was responsive to my needs. I visited many installation sites and was able to visit an installation site in progress. There I met Manuel, who led the group of 8 workers. He was friendly and informative. The hardest part was deciding which artificial grass to install. I found a home similar looking to mine and made the decision. Dave immediately came to my home with the product I chose and we chose a date for installation. That morning at 7 am two large trucks arrived with two crews (14 men). Amazingly, the men didn't need to talk. Each one knew what to do. I watched the whole process from my living room window and knew I made the right decision. At noon my front yard was transformed into a 'model' home. I couldn't be happier. My wife who wasn't for artificial grass came home and loved it. I am more than 100% satisfied. Dave can help you to be the same! Thank you to the Halo Turf team! read more
