I can't recommend Eli and his crew with Tough Turf enough. They are professional, on time and installed beautiful, long lasting turf in my backyard. I hate writing this review since Eli is a nice guy/responsive but his quality simply isn't that great. The seams are very obvious(see the attached pictures) thus looks fake(I told him twice about the seams). His prices are on the high side($20/sq feet) but quality doesn't match the price. I later learned better installers use a "zig zag" method to make the seams blend better or simply made sure the gaps are smaller. He came recommended but in the end after spending over 10k I wish I went with someone else. read more

Eli came out and seemed really nice. His quote was on the higher side but told us he was going to take out dirt and showed us a photo of what he was going to replace it with before adding the pet turf. We were concerned about weeds coming back so we figured the higher price was worth it because we believed he was going to do it right. Upon installation he was never here. This wouldn't have been a problem if it was done right. We have the smallest back yard. I immediately let him know there was a wrinkle in the turf. That's a pretty big deal considering we just paid him. He said he would come back but NEVER did. Also within two weeks there were weeds growing through the MIDDLE of the turf. Which just makes it super obvious they didn't actually take out any of the dirt they said they would. The grade is uneven in more than one spot. Now I'm having to have my husband redo something we spent a few thousand on (for a super small area). I would just say I feel pretty ripped off and would definitely not recommend. I feel like this is the story you hear when you go with a cheaper person. Kinda like you get what you pay for but I definitely Didn't expect this going with the higher priced quote.
