We also experienced several damages to our property from the bobcat scraping the wall, though that issue was at least addressed. However, there are two major problems that remain unresolved: 1. Turf Stepping Stone Cutouts The turf cutouts around the paver stepping stones were done with very poor quality. The edges are jagged, uneven, and not cut professionally at all. You can clearly see the black base layer exposed, and the turf does not sit flush against the pavers. We pointed this out to Jose, but he claimed this was "normal," which is concerning. 2. Paver Slope Toward the House The pavers were installed with improper grading, causing rainwater to slope toward the house instead of away from it. Even though a drainage system was installed, the slope itself is the main issue. Water pooling against the house is dangerous, especially if the drainage ever fails. In our case, the water flows directly toward the pergola where our patio furniture is located, making everything wet on the foot of the furnitures. Since we keep covers on the furniture and they are under a covered pergola, the water gets trapped, creating a risk of mold or damage. Before this project, our original concrete was sloped correctly--away from the house--so this was never an issue. It is under a covered pergola, so we never get rain water touching our furnitures. At no point during the process were we asked or informed about changing the slope direction. This reflects poor planning and poor workmanship. Overall, the quality of work and the lack of proper execution were disappointing.

Eric and his crew tackled a tough job to level the uneven soil in our 700 sq. ft. +/- area in preparation for upgrading the existing soil to improve out backyard to install a new sprinkler system and Marathon I sod. (I hope that if possible, Resolve Landscapers wouldn't mind adding any additional information that I may have overlooked). In addition, Resolve installed PTL lumber along the tree line, a separate drip system for additional plantings around our trees, and added a B-Hyve wi-fi enabled watering system with multiple stations to allow us to control the timing for watering backyard areas. We also had flagstone stepping stone pavers installed in one of the corners of our backyard, with 3/8" Del Rio pea rocks to support the walkway. When it was actually time to install the turf, a crew of about 10 came out and they finished the whole project in about 8-9 hours. They were like a well oiled machine and everyone did their part to complete the install in a timely manner. My parents liked the final result so much that they're going to get the backyard done with a putting green. I'll post an update when that one is done.
