I was so pleased with the work Frank and Legaspi & Sons did on my backyard last year that when I needed a small concrete slab poured along the side of my house, I knew exactly who to call! Once again, Frank did not disappoint. He was professional, reliable, and made sure everything was done right. Even though this was a much smaller project, he gave it the same attention and care as the first one. I'm completely pleased with the results! It's such a great feeling to find a contractor you can trust and confidently call back for future projects. Thank you again, Frankie! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Legaspi & Sons to anyone looking for quality concrete work. read more

Francisco is great to work with. He wasn't the cheapest estimate, but he had the best vibe. Overall, we're happy with our concrete, turf, and gate installation. Some issues needed fixing: -water main leaked twice (one during digging and again after pouring) -tear-off expansion board incorrectly installed (not flat along some walls causing pour to be wavy, and not level with pour so I couldn't tear-off and sikacaulk.. had to do some tedious cutting first) -turf started growing weeds and grass along edges because weed barrier wasn't installed deep enough (recommend turf caulk along edges during installation) -damaged some plants during digging -ordered excess concrete mix so we overpaid Just need to be more careful throughout the project and most of these can be avoided. Still highly recommend Francisco! read more

Our experience was terrible from start to finish. Even though we had a signed contract in place, the costs kept changing throughout the project with constant new charges and excuses. Every step seemed to come with additional unexpected costs that were never originally discussed. Even worse, although we fully paid the contractor, he failed to pay multiple suppliers involved in the job -- including both the concrete supplier and the gate supplier leaving us dealing with payment disputes afterward. There poured and laid concrete broke after 5 days. The professionalism was extremely poor. Communication was inconsistent, timelines were not honored, and the overall quality of work was unacceptable. The concrete started developing cracks within the first week, which clearly reflects poor workmanship and lack of proper preparation and finishing. They also failed to properly wash and glaze/seal the concrete after completion. Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or honest work. Please do your research and stay away. read more

We recently hired Francisco (the owner) to build us new gates. We were unfamiliar with gate options and he was able to present to us great options for our home with clear pricing within our budget. We picked a style and gave Francisco the exact design and color that we wanted. Once the project began , he built them and within the following week , they were delivered and installed with ease. The final product came out better than expected. If we have 10 more houses that need gates , we would hire him again. We look forward to hiring him again for other projects that he specializes in. Francisco not only gave us a good price within our budget , but was also extremely good with communication. He never kept us waiting and always kept everything very friendly and professional. We wish Legaspi & Sons many , many more great projects. read more

Francisco has been very patient with us over this last year while we sorted out which project to start with first. Currently our new patio concrete is drying and it turned out wonderfully! He listened to what we wanted (even when we changed our minds a couple times) and made sure we were happy before moving forward. Definitely took away a lot of the worries i had about our first remodel-- i love it so much and cant wait for more work with them in the future! read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Francisco. From start to finish, his communication was outstanding--clear, timely, and always professional. Every question we had was answered with patience and expertise. He also brought fantastic suggestions to the table--ideas we hadn't considered that elevated the final result without inflating the budget. It's rare to find someone who blends creativity with practicality so seamlessly. One of the things that really stood out was how clean and organized the job site was at the end of each day. The pricing was more than fair. No surprise costs, and real value for the quality of work delivered. If you're looking for a contractor who's reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in doing great work, Francisco is the one. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat. read more

Had two gates, and a picket fence with a gate installed this week and I am beyond impressed with the work. It was very quick and painless. Francisco paid extra attention to detail which I appreciate and you can tell that he will not leave until you are 100% satisfied with the work. They also replaced some sprinklers for me. Overall I am very pleased with the work and will use them in the future for other home projects. 10/10 recommend. read more

I hired Francisco Legaspi after receiving 3 quotes to demo my backyard and to pour about 20 yards of concrete and build a raised block planter. His quote was not the lowest but it was much lower than the next highest by overt $ 10,000. I decided to have Legaspi and sons do the job because they seemed to understand what I was looking for. His price was about what I expected. Once the project began everything was well coordinated. Francisco handled all coordination between the guys doing the demo as well as all his helpers. The job moved fast was done on time. Francisco did do a few extras for me. All prices were up front and no gimmicks. I had forgotten about a partial payment that I had given him, but he reminded me that I had already payed him. The job came out amazing and everything was cleaned up the following day. I would absolutely use Legaspi and Sons again. read more

We hired Francisco and Legaspi & Sons a second time to finish our frond and back yard. In the frond yard they cleared the old lawn and put in a rock garden. In the backyard, they installed a new redwood fence, DG, and a concrete area for a gazebo. Francisco is great to work with - quick to respond, honest, and reliable. read more

When we began looking for a contractor for our first major yard remodel we had no idea what to expect and what we were looking for. Francisco was truly a godsend as he was very patient with us, professional, and timely with his work. On our end we kept changing our scope with what we wanted to do and Francisco was able to accommodate us every time, even if it meant redoing something he had already begun working on. He is a professional and the process was relatively painless with him at the helm. Overall he was more than satisfactory and we looking forward to utilizing him for future projects. I've already recommended him to my friends and coworkers for their projects. read more

My friend had done some incredible work in her yard and I had to ask who she went to and it was none other than Legaspi & Sons. This is our first home and we weren't sure what was possible but Fransisco was great and walked us through all our options and was very transparent about our budget and what we would be able to do. We decided to go with a gorgeous stamped concrete to open up the space. It's been a few weeks now and our whole family loves it! It is quality work that is backed up by his warranty. Not only was the work great but Fransisco has been a pleasure to get to know and work with! I highly recommend him, in fact he's working on my in-laws place now because they loved what we did with our yard read more

Then provided very detailed, comprehensive and competitive quote. We are happy with how the project turned out. Don't hesitate to contact Francisco read more

We obtained a quote from Francisco Legaspi to demo our cracked drive way and replace it with a new stamped concrete driveway, along with replacing two entry gates for our back yard. His quote was not the lowest, but based on our daughter's positive backyard remodel experience with Francisco recently, we decided to hired him. Our project was completed recently, and we are very happy with Francisco's performance. He was very professional and courteous, coordinated all tasks by himself, and being on time with the schedule. The project was finished in 5 days and it exceeded our expectations. Francisco also did some extras for us such as disposing other unwanted items not related to his work without charging. He also cleaned up the place after the construction is completed, and we now have a beautiful driveway and new gates. Based on the above, we would certainly use Francisco again in the future. read more

I can say that if you need concrete work done, these guys are amazing. They did cinder block and concrete planters at my home and they put stack stone siding on my home, as well as pavers on my front porch patio area. All of that work was beautiful and done very quickly and beautifully. I would highly recommend them for any masonry work that you have to complete and we will be contacting them again for our backyard concrete counter top for the grill area. I would caution that they also offer artificial grass, and this is somewhat outside their area of expertise and I do wish that I had chosen a contractor who specializes in the particular service. Francisco is a very good communicator and over all I am please with the finished product on my house and, as I said, we will be contacting them again for our additional masonry needs. read more

We needed to replace a 30' sidewalk in our back yard. Other vendors found the job too small and were either non responsive or quoted outrageous prices. Francisco, Shorty and the team did a wonderful job on our new turf and planter wall. Francisco came over to provide a quote and brought turf samples for us to look through. He also helped us secure his contractor rate through the turf company which helped us save a lot of money. Francisco and his team went above and beyond to make sure our turf would last for years to come. After grading the area, they installed chicken wire at our request so we would not have any animals digging up from under the turf. Then they laid weed screen, then gravel, then DG and then finally the turf and the infill. They did not cut corners and were very meticulous at each step. We were so happy with the work that we hired Francisco to build a planter wall next to our new turf. We have already recommended Francisco to friends and we strongly recommend anyone reading this review to hire Francisco. He is fair, honest, and a good communicator. He checked in with us every day and always showed up when he said he would. He also was very professional with a contract to make sure everyone was on the same page.
