We couldn't be happier with the work Rich's crew did redesigning and reimagining our side patio! They were incredibly patient throughout the process and offered great suggestions that really elevated the space. The result is a patio that feels much more usable and inviting than we ever imagined. The cabinet, doors wall coverings were all hand built. The team was professional, respectful, and easy to work with from start to finish. They always welcomed questions and took care to keep everything clean. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work and service we received. We will be using Ramco for our next project. read more

First off, I should have posted this review weeks ago. I apologize for the delay in writing the review and gratitude to Rich and his team for their TRANSFORMATION of our home. We underwent major renovations on their nearly 60-year-old home, including various projects such as a new roof, exterior paint, windows, water heater, balcony rebuild, foundation strengthening, termite treatment, and more. We specifically chose RAMCO as our contractor for our front yard hardscape replacement and ended up hiring them for plumbing and draining issues when we found out they do just about everything! RAMCO addressed 27 years of rain runoff and the dysfunctional sprinkler system, avoiding the need for a new one by repositioning pipes and ensuring proper water flow. They also provided maintenance for our basement's sump pump drainage! To say Rich and the RAMCO team did an excellent job does not do their work justice. Ramco's design skills are remarkable, and we have fallen in love with our home all over again! Hire RAMCO when your home is ready for a high-end look at a reasonable price! Warm Regards! Rich and his company did excellent work on our landscape/hardscape project! We just finished our house and needed steps to the front porch, some low retaining walls and grass. Great communication the entire time and his works were there every day. Fair price and great work! read more

Myself and two of my neighbors agreed to go in on a fence and I offered to get estimates. Rich Jr. showed up on time measured (correctly I might add) and gave me some initial numbers on the spot. From the first time I met Rich, I just felt comfortable over the other people I spoke with. I received four estimates and Rich Jr. had the best price, best availability and was local. Rather than me have to negotiate payment and reimbursement from the neighbors, Rich Jr. met with each neighbor and worked directly with them which was great. We had a total of 224' so it was a good size job. Rich Jr., his son Daniel and another helper were on site when they said they'd be, removed the previous fence, installed the new fence, and a total of four gates in 6 days....in late July/August. Yeah, they don't screw around. We had a great experience, recommend RAMCO 110% and look forward to working with them again. I appreciate you looking after our landscaping while on the job, not damaging ANYTHING and straightening up at the end of the day. Thanks again Rich, I miss your whistling and singing as well as Daniel streaming classic rock throughout the day. read more

Update he saw review and was not nice about it. Watch out for him, not nice when you show others that he is not reliable. I am not the 1st to say this. Blocked his number from phone and told him to leave me alone. I had this company put in a fence a few years ago. Needed to have part of it put up to 6 feet and add a roof to make a dog run. He came out to look at the project and said he would give me a price. Never got price. He said he needed to come back and discuss with me. Contacted him on May 1st to see if he could do the project. He did not come when he said he would say he was too busy with his wife. On May 25th, I still did not have a bid from him. May 29th still no bid, just excuses from him. June 1st said he would have bid to me on June 2nd, we'll that day come and go with no bid, said, tied up with family. He keeps using that excuse when breaking promises. June 4th, he gave me a $ amount, I asked for a breakdown of the cost of materials, and he said he doesn't provide that. How do I know what materials he is buying and what he is charging me for them? He was supposed to come over on June 7th and again was a no-show with another excuse. Made an appt for June 9th, and he again made another excuse not to come. Was supposed to come today, June 10, and it is 7:30 at night, and I sent him a text and got no response and another no-show. Told him to forget about the project. THIS GUY IS UNRELIABLE AND BREAKS APPOINTMENTS REBOOKS THEM AND BREAKS THEM AGAIN. been over a month, and he has done nothing to try and help with my project. Also, when he put on my first fence, he went into my backyard and was rummaging around tools between my sheds. He had no business being in that part of the yard and did not realize my niece was staying at my house. She called me telling me he was going thru the stuff. I left work and confronted him, and he said he was just going to " borrow" the tools. I was willing to give him another chance since that area is now behind the fence and locked up. read more

Rich Ramirez and Ramco did a great job on replacing our block wall. Professional attitude and very responsive to all our concerns and questions. Rich was flexible when weather caused delays and we still needed to get the work done on schedule. We are very satisfied with the workmanship and value of the investment. We have used Ramco Construction for two different walls and the experience was great.

Did excellent work putting in a vinyl fence for me. The work was done in a timely manner. No delays or skipped days.

Ramco did a great job on my backyard but what stood out for them was the service provided by the owner Rich. We installed a recessed firepit, turf, sod, pavers, putting green and concrete. The workers were great and did an impeccable job. Every time an issue or problem arose, Rich responded immediately to remedy the problem. Even after the project was completed, Rich gladly sent people back to fix any issues. read more

Overall very happy with the experience. Was a big project, completely redid the front, side, and backyard. Added lots of walls and pavers. The best thing about these guys is Rich was excellent about getting back to me in a timely manner, I had contacted multiple other contractors that couldn't be bothered to get back to me but Rich was always great even if there was a problem. His guys were generally friendly and courteous and made an effort to clean up places like the driveway when they were done for the day. Walls all turned out looking great, pavers look great and I was even complimented that these guys did great by another guy that does landscaping. We had a few issues with one of the gates and some small detail items after the project was "done" and Rich stopped by a few days later to get it fixed. Had a bit of a problem with them not cleaning up very well at the end, but I didn't make a big deal about it and Rich offered to send someone over. read more

I had a front yard project which I entrusted to Rich and his crew. This was a big project for me and I had a fixed budget. They replaced the driveway with pavers and did intricate stone work on the steps, front door threshold, and planter areas. The project took some time but, the quality of the work was great. Many neighbors commented on the quality of the work and how professional Rich and his team were. I had several changes and Rich and his team were patient, understanding, and accommodating and did whatever needed to be done. I'm very happy with the results and I could recommend RAMCO without reservation. cl read more

We are really enjoying our block wall and our strong back fence. Our trellis and our gates look very nice and we really appreciated the respectful hard-working men who came to work on our project. I've used Rich and Ramco twice for my yard as part of existing projects with neighbors. Their wall construction, including foundation while on a sloped hill seems solid. One set has lasted a decade so far. They take payment via other electronic means, which is nice in these days of little check use. I have nothing else to really compare to except the original city constructed walls which seem to have used thicker "cap/top" stones. However, they will NOT leave your yard as they've found it. If you got grass, plan for it to be destroyed, gone and not restored. If you had gravel areas, gone. And it will be a CHASE and another job to get any followup, especially via email. read more

I got quotes from 6 or 7 companies for our large residential stucco fence job. I decided to go with Rich and Ramco after a couple of in depth discussions with him and with the quote he gave. I was impressed with him, he asked very pointed questions and seemed very practical which I appreciate. He also didn't try to BS me like some people who are giving quotes. He was also the only one to mention expansion joints which I wanted, and he accommodated my request for an extra one on this. Extremely happy with the job Rich and his crew did. The fence looks fantastic and after several months no cracking or shifting at all! Plus his crew was friendly, respectful, and most of all did a careful and great job. They were very receptive to any changes that I requested along the way, and Rich was very accommodating in that respect. I have pretty high standards, so it's not always easy working with me on that aspect, but Rich was very customer focused and always gave me the benefit of the doubt. I also want to specifically call out his woodworking guy/crew. The gates that he built for the fence were fantastic, and exceeded even my high standards. They open and close with no issues, and the latches are inset perfectly. And best of all they look fantastic! He was also very patient with the billing situation, as he had to deal with myself, the neighbor, and the HOA all of which paid for a part of the job. Dealing with my HOA especially is always challenging. But he handled it really well and everything went according to plan. I would definitely use Rich again, and highly recommend him to anyone getting a stone fence, or any large landscaping projects! read more

We are so thankful for Rich's expertise and professionalism. I used Rich about 8 years ago to do a major yard renovation. It held up really well and I was super happy with his work so when we wanted to get a bit more things done I went straight to him. He didn't disappoint! We got our sod removed and artificial turf installed, some concrete, some pavers, and some masonry work done. It all turned out great. I'm happy to send friends and family to him for work. read more

Scheduled appointment for an estimate and he no showed. He even confirmed the day before and didn't bother to call.

Rich was awesome. We had Rich build a 6ft tall block wall for our property. At every step working with Rich was easy and efficient. The block wall came on the tail end of a nightmare construction project so working with a professional who built to a high quality with no hand holding was incredible. I cannot recommend this company enough. read more

Rich and his team did a great job for our project!! I highly recommend them! Good customer service and knowledgeable!

We had a great experience with Ramco (Rich and team). It started with having to replace our falling down wooden fence with a brick wall. After the wall, we continued on with totally renovating the backyard and did work on our front landscaping. We interviewed and gotten multiple quotes from various contractors but were most comfortable with Rich. Rich is very knowledgable, thoughtfully gave suggestions and and his prices was very reasonable. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted with our landscaping but Rich definitely has the designer's eyes as to what would look good for the space. Rich advised and guided us with design ideas, materials to be used, pros and cons of features, etc. Additionally, he introduced us to his contacts and favorite places for flooring, nurseries, etc. He met up with us in the various stores and help us pick out material (floording, accents, plants, water feature, etc.) and made sure that we end up with a great backyard. Rich was also flexible with the various changes that went on as the project was in progress. He stated as such at the beginning and he stayed to his words. Just make sure you agree to the changes and how much before work is done and you're good to go. He will stick to the agreed quote. We couldn't be happier with the final result of our brick wall, awesome backyard and front yard. Rich and his crew are all hard working, diligent, respectful and has given us an exemplary customer service since the first day we met them. We super love our new backyard now and found a new friend in Rich! Rosette and Sunny P.S. we posted pictures but it's not being associated to this review, well known Yelp bug. We have just had our driveway replaced by Ramco Construction. Rich Ramirez has a team that was efficient, skillful, and on time with a project that looks great. Ramco constructed block walls for several of our neighbors and did an outstanding job. Very professional crew that showed up every morning ready to work. They were very good about maintaining a clean work space. I appreciated they took great care working around existing plants and trees without destroying them. They also were accommodating to any changes we wanted as far as constructing one of the block walls a little higher to give us more privacy. Rich's crew also ended up doing additional work removing about 40 LF of invasive roots from our drain lines as well as about 30 LF of wood fencing and gate. We were extremely happy with the outcome of all the work they performed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable contractor. read more

Be careful with this company!! Rich set a fence for me in 2012 and 2 of the posts have rotted. I have called him several times and he finally got back to me 3 weeks later. He said he was busy with other jobs but said he could get back to fix the posts in "2 to 3 weeks". After trying to get a hold of him again, I could not. I found someone else to make the repairs after waiting for Rich for almost 2 months, and guess who called me earlier this week... Just make sure to get a date set for your needs. read more
