Over the past several months we experienced ground shifting which moved a wall forcing one of the gates to shift making it difficult to open and close. Very rude. I called looking for gate repair options and was told they had come to our house over 3 years before so that estimate for any repair or new fencing stood and they would only come out if we paid $120 for a service visit (which would be applied to the job). We found no emailed estimate (and only had a very specific, targeted repair done) but they insisted there was one. I was shocked at how they do business. Then they called back and said they could come out. Someone came out at the indicated time, but didn't introduce themselves. I started explaining what I was looking for in addressing some rusty spots, and he said I remember, I was here last time and repaired all of this and talked to your husband. I told him that wasn't us. He insisted and said he'd replaced the motor, done all of that, that we'd been told the whole gate needed to be replaced. I told him that may have been the previous owner, but not us, and we even searched our email and didn't find anything, and he can't just assume someone else who was Asian is my husband. He shook the gate and said it was. I started trying to explain again and he flipped his hand up and walked toward his truck, said "I don't like the way you talk," and left. If it was them last time, the repair wasn't even done well and is one of the things that needs to get fixed. Would give negative stars if I could. Total waste of time. read more

I just had a total of four (4) entry gates as well as perimeter fencing installed . I also had existing balcony enclosures painted to match the newly installed entry gates and fencing. Eli arrived as scheduled for the initial design and estimate. Eli was extremely knowledgeable and professional while providing input as to the design of the fencing. The material is all heavy gauge metal with each section neatly welded in place. The touch locks and handles were all " Schlage" . Eli painted a piece of the metal fencing material so I would feel secure with my color selection. I can't speak highly enough about Eli, his team, and the finished product. We hired OC Gates to install an automatic driveway gate to block access to the Main Street (we have two little ones and a dog) and to add a wrought iron fence along the existing wall on the perimeter of our property. Eli was extremely responsive throughout the whole process, and really helped us brainstorm through the design process of what color wood we wanted, what design we wanted in the fence line, what shape we wanted the gate to be, etc. The turnaround time of paying the deposit and the gate and fence being installed was astonishingly fast, especially considering nearly everything he makes is custom. While they were installing the gate and fence, his guy even installed a mailbox for us on the outside of our stucco wall. Not only that, a couple of weeks after installation, he had one of his tech guys come out to my house for an hour to help me get the gate set up on the MyQ app on my phone (at no additional cost). While the project was relatively expensive, it was 100% worth it in our eyes to not only help protect our family but also as a beautiful addition to our yard, driveway, and property as a whole.
