I had a very frustrating project on my camper van. I was trying to attach some brackets to the rear door for a ladder. But one of the hinge bolts was stripped. I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked. A suggestion from the internet was to weld a nut on top of the stripped bolt to remove it So I contacted Steve and explained my situation. I took my van to his place and he evaluated the problem. Steve came up with a better plan, thinking out of the box. He used welding blankets to cover my upholstery to fully protect my van during welding. And in a matter of minutes he removed the faulty part! Now I can complete the project and mount the ladder. I had a couple of posts that had rotted off at the base of my handrails going to my front door and also from the street. The original installation was put right into the stone and concreted. This was a pretty dangerous situation, especially for our older parents who would visit and are a little unstable. Most companies didn't want to bother with a small job like this. Sent a request through Yelp and asked Steve if he could help me with a 40 year old gate that no longer could be aligned due to the brick wall shifting over all of these years. Also wanted to add a deadbolt to the gate. Steve replied within 10 minutes of the quote request and showed up the same day to look the job over. He told me what should be done and that he could easily install the deadbolt by replacing the single lock box with a double one. He would also rehang the gate using welded on hinges in place of the existing "hanger bolts". Steve called two days later to do the job.
