Ordered through DoorDash for the kanpachi yellowtail fish and skirt steak. The 4oz steak was such a joke. It was only 1.26 ounces. Looked like a toddler's portion and it was $9. read more

Hi all, Was in about a month ago and had a great experience - ambience, food, drink and service all on-point. Brought some friends with me this eve and happy to report that everything is still on-point! Korean BBQ bowl with steak and ribs - enough for 2! Delicious - the Kimchi rice, yum! Sat at the bar this time and service was fabu - Robert jesa and Mana made the drinks come to life. Great service. Glad to see the new 'sheen' has not worn off and commitment to quality and service still prevails - and the managers are still making the rounds and checking in on guests - nice touch! Will be back! read more

What a beautiful location! The vibes were great and Darian, our server, was so sweet and so helpful! It's a little thing, but when a server crouches down to get on your level while taking your order, it just shows that much more effort. Food was DELICIOUS! We got the mixed grill for 2 and it was so good. Definitely a place we'd go back to. read more

My husband and in laws really wanted to try this place out. Everything we ordered tasted horrible and is over priced. Everyone was disappointed. Will not be going back. read more

Especially love the sushi rice with Chimichurri! Delicious sides and pickled vegetables for nutritious selections.

The poke was delicious... and so was the Guava-Rita (3)... Rob knows how to service his guests.

The food was really good and I loved the open air concept when sitting at the bar. We ordered the Guaca-poke, Baja Citrus Ceviche, Loaded Poke Roll, and the Korean style surf and turf. Our server/bartender was very friendly, but could have been more attentive to everyone sitting at the bar. It was busy and he seemed overwhelmed which is understandable. This is relatively new to the area and we would try it again, maybe for happy hour. read more

Rachel the bartender is fantastic! Super friendly, knows the menu - which is so tasty!- who takes the time and cares about her customers' experience. Truly a great place to eat and drink! But Rachel brings it to next level! read more

This place is fabulous! Our family ate here for the first time last night. Our waitress, Anna B, took such good care of us. She answered questions about the menu, asked us if we wanted part of our order to come out sooner than the rest or all at the same time. She checked back with us often. All of the food our family ordered was amazing . . . steelhead trout, salmon bowl, sushi tacos, sushi rolls, coconut shrimp. We all thought the food our food was fabulous. Everything was so fresh and unique. We are so glad to have a new restaurant in our neighborhood with such great food and fabulous service. We'll be visiting often! read more

Ate here during OC Restaurant week. The Poke 3 ways, Sea-bass, and drinks were the best. We really enjoyed the food and service.

I came in to Pacific Catch today for the first time. Matthew was my bartender and he suggested the Guava-Rita which was amazing. I had the Miso Black Cod and I highly recommend it. If you are free on a Monday between 11-430 go see Matthew, he is extremely knowledgeable and will make great recommendations. read more

Ambiance and service are good. Food is average. Like a regular diner type of food. Nothing more to add. Nothing special

Matthew is the best! We came for our first time and the catch did not disappoint. He was so nice and helped us navigate through the menu to pick out the perfect meal. Will definitely be back! read more

On the upside the space is gorgeous, the roll up windows great choice, bar well designed, tropical feel with nice wicker fixtures and teak wood ceiling features, great space to hang in. Food -- gotta do better. Flavor profiles are lacking, food is boring and same stuff I would expect at like a El Torito? Meaning ho hum, reduced to nothingness to appeal to the masses? The Korean ribs lack anything distinctive and certainly inadequate Korean flavoring .. just another sugar sauce. The baja shrimp ceviche so cliche in flavors and the avocado sauce -- we cant do better with spicing than this cliche, find-anywhere flavoring? Chips should be THIN! So much better when chips are thin and crunchy. We went for Happy Hour so this is all we had (well we had the poke but I did not try so cannot comment). You guys need to check out Nicks Laguna to see how flavors are done (in my opinion. that concept really does things so damn well). I will come back and try other items. read more

This place is solid. Every time I come here the food is mind-blowing. And the service is exceptional. To tie it all off, our favorite bartender Mana (hope I spelled that right) knows how to make you the perfect cocktail every time. He definitely provides an experience that keeps you coming back! read more

We celebrated our anniversary here tonight. Amazing service and food Phil was awesome and spot on with his recommendations for food and drink The chimichurri sauce the bomb. Phil was attentive and food came out in a timely manner. read more

Three stars for friendly service and a clean environment. We ate here last night with family. I selected this restaurant based on all the good reviews. The restaurant was definitely busy, so clearly there is a high demand. Unfortunately, most of us were disappointed in our food. The service was decent, for this type of establishment, but the food was so lackluster, I don't see returning here. I want others to be prepared for what to expect. It's a sit down restaurant with a server, but the quality of the food is less than California Fish Grill. The yellowtail was cold and dried out, the shrimp also slightly overdone and very cold. As a matter of fact, most of our party had cold food. My son commented that his fries were flavorless with no salt and they were cold. The presentation of the food is reminiscent of a fast casual restaurant. Overall, it's just not that good and while it's not expensive, it's not cheap either, especially for what you're getting. Just be aware, don't want you to be disappointed. read more

Best service ever! Thank you Matthew!!! Loved our meal, our drinks were even better and your service was superb! Best mocktail ever and I'll definitely be back on a Monday to have another one. Thank you for taking care of us!!!! read more

Had the delicious salmon bowl. It was refreshing after spending the week eating out on vacation. Matthew B was friendly and service was quick. read more

Matthew is the best!!! Excellent food suggestions and great conversation. Highly recommended

So overall a 3.5'ish & I totally understand that they are just opened & there's going to be opening pains... or server was Nick...who was totally nice & pleasant...but... 1. I did a reservation for 4 on open table & then called that day to change it to 5. We got there & were seated almost immediately at a 4 top... we asked to be moved to a 6 top so we'd fit better... 2. we asked for waters & soda & coffee... coffee ($7!!!) came out almost immediately... water came out in drinks tumblers...which he literally gave us 2 fingers in each glass... & no ice... huh?? We kept having to ask for refills on the sodas... 3. appetizer came out almost immediately... not really enough for $12... tasted good though... 4. it took a while for him to come back to take our order... like 15 minutes... 5. we ordered... another couple sitting next to us ordered after we did.... they got their food before we did btw... & the server takes the order on a little handheld thing... 4 of our items came out like 10 minutes later (after the other couple's food came out)... the 5th item took another 10 minutes... 6. Flavor...hmmmm...my husband said the sea bass really didn't have any flavor... & if you look at the picture they kinda' cooked it wrong because it's gray in between the grill marks (from smoke). My trout was pretty good except for the fact that they gave me the "back end" of the fish so half of it was overcooked & the thicker portion had a raw part in it...the flank steak was amazing...probably the best thing I ate...& perfectly cooked...I asked for brown rice instead of one of the sides listed...it was also really good...but my brocollini was undercooked & bitter...I ended up taking it home & finished cooking it for dinner the next night & added sesame oil & garlic salt to make it taste better...my friend ordered the fish & chips...just ok... my other friend ordered the Korean plate & said the flavor was really good... he also ordered the poki bowl...lots of fish...but he said it wasn't super flavorful... my other friend ordered the 3 tacos & the portions were giant but the flavor was just "ehh"... 7. Price...not including tip the total was $193... & yes, like previous posts, they do charge a 3% surcharge...& he charged us for the extra chips... & I will say, I had signed up for their mailing list so I got a free appetizer (I got the $12 chips & guac)... which, btw, he forgot to take off & I had to send the bill back to get it taken care of... 8. I'd come back...but everyone else in my party said they wouldn't be coming back... Hopefully they fix their opening pains before I come back again... read more

I can normally find something good with any setting, in this case I can say the restaurant was clean. Now the down side, order miso soup which arrived cold, the salted edamame arrrived without salt, we had three sushi roles, the fish was not fresh which they tried to cover up with extra sauce and the server, well he took our order And then disappeared. We were ready to go and had to ask other employees three times to send him over so we could pay. Save yourself some money and try elsewhere... very disappointing read more

Great atmosphere plus variety and menu with wonderful seafood, sushi, salads, and appetizers. The service was great and I would recommend this for any occasion. read more

We were a party of 10, including 4 kids, for dinner on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful time. Our server Matthew went above and beyond to answer our elderly parents questions while balancing all of the kids' requests. The food was great, atmosphere was comfortable, and service was wonderful. Thank you again Matthew, we'll ask for you next time we go! read more

Came in late on a Sunday night and Matt still received us with a smile and great service. The guava maragarita was delicious and the atmosphere was chill. read more

Extremly good and hot food with a taste thats invective and Katerina with more and more tasty items and good servcie

Our waiter Cailee was amazingly fast and super helpful when me and my party ordered our food. Drinks were also supes delish.

Such great food here! My family and I ordered most of the happy hour appetizers and they did not disappoint at all! The black cod was super delicious. It's like butter. My dad enjoyed the sashimi bowl and the fish tacos were just as awesome. I had the sushi tacos, the set of 3 and they tasted so fresh!! The staff were all so friendly and professional. The manager, Matt was hands on and checked each table and even helped serve food. Very nice to see. that. Our server Robert was so sweet and attentive. Definitely recommend this place also for the convenience. By the freeway and plenty of parking and we did not feel cramped inside. Did I mention their Korean ribs and steak is a must try?? 5 stars for sure! read more

I was truly impressed tonight with Roberto. This was my first time here and he helped me with every question and gave me suggestions. He suggested the Pupu Platter and I was not disappointed! He even offered dessert which I couldn't pass up! When I come back, I'm definitely asking for him! read more

Had lunch date today. We split calamari and California roll. They were delicious. Had an amazing server, Caille. She was both helpful and courteous. We will be back. read more

Ben was an amazing host and very friendly. He had the brightest smile and replenished our water just immaculately.

Great ambiance, we sat on the patio outside but the heaters kept us nice and warm. Food was great, there was just a small mix up with one of our orders but was quickly fixed. Patio seating was much more child friendly than inside seating. read more

Great food and service. Such a unique place for the area, and was a nice surprise! Whether you're craving sushi or fish and chips, this is the place to go. read more

The place was beautiful, but the service was not good and the food was even worse. Everyone was kind but it was so chaotic and we were brought doubles of our order so many times! Would not recommend at least on a busy night. The food was just not worth it (everything was either undercooked or overcooked and not appetizing). read more

Cailee is phenomenal, she is always attentive, personable and more. We will continue to request her table or see her at the bar on Wednesday and Thursday. BTW, the food is super good too ! read more

I went to try out this restaurant on a Friday night & got the California Roll & the Rising Sun roll. For a place that specializes in seafood, you would think that their sushi would be phenomenal.....but it wasn't. Especially with that price point. If you love sushi, avoid their sushi like the plague. Staff & ambience was nice though. read more

Came in for lunch and some drinks on Tuesday. Menu had a lot to choose from and they did half off bottles of wine which was a nice surprise. The bartender, Dominic, was super nice and gave the best recommendations because I'm a beginner when it comes to fish. Will definitely be back! read more

Food was delish but Phil was even better. Had great menu suggestions, was super nice, and made us want to return! I'll definitely be back!

Food was great service was horrible. Servers never checked back, ever and when you request salt and pepper never came back. Restaurant industry/ Management beware! read more

Cailee was the best! Fresh food selections. Yummy drinks. Happy hour from 3-6pm! Check it out.
