P6 is probably the prettiest rooftop bar I've ever been to. It's super aesthetic and has an incredible view of the river. I'd been to P6 once before, and all I remember from my experience was that we paid for overpriced food and beverages, we were sweating through our clothes, and the employees are pretty rude. I would say that sums up my second time here as well. My friends and I got the Sundown Cobbler cocktails, which were good but definitely still overpriced and nothing special. Our waitress seemed to only attend to us when she felt like it, and we waited a very long time for our checks. The host was nice and let us take photos in their aesthetic lounge area, but I would say that's the most positive employee experience I had. I am having mixed feelings about whether or not I would recommend this bar to anyone, but I'd say that it's a good place to go to if you want to enjoy the Austin sunset and skyline with some friends. Granted, you'll be paying a lot of money for the experience and have to deal with some rude employees, but don't let that stop you from appreciating P6's pretty aesthetic and offerings. read more

We came here as soon as the restaurant opened because we knew it would be packed. This place has such beautiful decor and is on the rooftop/patio, so there is a beautiful backdrop of Lady Bird Lake. You will definitely be taking tons of photos here. We made reservations just in case, but we pretty much had the whole restaurant to ourselves for the first hour P6 was opened. Everything looked delicious, so we ordered quite a bit: Vegetable Frittata: This was perfect for a light meal. Lots of veggies and the eggs and butter lettuce was perfect. Shrimp & Grits: Soooo bomb. Every bit of this tasted great. Just wished they would have removed the shrimp tails as most other places do. Patatas Bravas: The potatoes were great for a side/appetizer. Sourdough Garlic Bread: I love a good garlic bread, and this totally delivered. And I like that fact that it was pull-apart bread. Everything tasted amazing and we really enjoyed our time brunching here. read more

"Beautiful view, terrible food. I came here hoping for a nice meal with a nice atmosphere, but while the scenery was stunning, The service at this restaurant was very disappointing. Our server had a bad attitude from the start. I asked for a regular Coke, and he brought me a Diet Coke without saying anything. We also ordered champagne, and when he finally brought it, he poured a small amount and said, 'I put a little bit for you' -- like he was doing us a favor. Totally unprofessional and rude. The view might be nice, but the service ruined the experience, and also we asked to see manager and nobody show up. Very very disappointed. read more

Came here for a bachelorette brunch. The food was SO FRESH and tasted bomb. The views where we sat was also breath taking. The weather was perfect and our waiter was so nice. He gave us tips on what to do and where to go. I've been recommending this place to everyone that visits Austin! read more

Amazing staff, food, and stunning view of sunset on the river! Absolutely would recommend all my friends and come back. We ordered housemade bread, patata bravas, and sweet mocktails. Patata bravas are must-try! We're both Chinese so the red pepper sauce was not spicy to us, and the flavors were absolutely spot-on. Potatos were really crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Just thinking about the dish makes my mouth water again! The waiter kindly asked what flavors we'd like in the mocktails. We said mango, and it turned out to be the best nonalcoholic drink I've ever had! It was bubbly, fruity, and full of mango and citrus flavors. The flowers on top also looked gorgeous. Thank you P6 for an amazing experience. You made us love Austin more :) read more

We came here for brunch and drink on Saturday morning but I didn't realize how small their brunch menu was. We ended up getting a sundown cobbler, Bloody Mary, mimosa kit, and a yogurt parfait. There wasn't very many small bites to order with drinks. Our server was great but the mixed drinks were just okay. This is definitely one of those places where you're going for overpriced drinks because they have a nice view. read more

P6 is a tourist must go to! The Bats can be seen from the rooftop of the Line building. I made a reservation to sit rooftop one Saturday night and the feel is very Bohemian Park Place - if that's a thing? The drinks and charcuterie boards are very generous. I can't recall how many drinks I had however my wallet could prolly tell those details better. :) You go rooftop for the experience and P6 did not disappoint one bit. I enjoyed myself and the food and drink were great. Did I look for the bats? Nah, a few drinks in and I lost interest. I live here - I'll see them another time. read more

Visited P6 for happy hour with a friend while visiting Austin and had a good time! We arrived when they were just opening, and luckily we had a reservation - it filled up really quickly after a bit. The space has a great vibe and a great view - even though it's not on the roof, the space offers a lovely view of the city and river and the open concept of the bar makes for a perfect environment to relax and enjoy some sunshine. The space is filled with countless plants and pink decor, which I truly appreciated - it felt quite posh and eclectic yet incredibly put together at the same time. For drinks, I opted for the ladybird spritz, perfect for a refreshing afternoon cocktail. Featuring rhubarb, aperol, and cava, it was light yet flavorful, really being able to taste the rhubarb throughout the entire drink. Quite good! My friend went for the sundown cobbler, which she also really enjoyed. Since it was happy hour, we snagged some food too. We both split the pita bread with chimichurri and the hummus. We were given a bunch of pita bread, which was much appreciated! The pita was good, but not the best I've ever had (a little dense for my liking). The chimchurri was OK - the ratio of oil to spices was a bit off so it felt like it was swimming in oil. The hummus was quite nice and featured a nice touch of cashews and chili oil. I appreciated the inclusion of various veggies in addition to the pita for a change of pace! The hummus overall was good, but again, not the best I've ever had, but still filling and delicious and balanced our drinks well. While the prices of the cocktails were quite discounted from normal, they were still a bit steep, but to be expected when you consider the ambience of the place. Overall, we enjoyed our HH at P6! I really enjoyed by spritz and the hummus / chimichurri was a nice balance. The prices are a bit elevated, but to be expected in relation to the space. If you're looking for a nice HH spot for visitors to Austin, I would definitely suggest P6! read more

This was a great brunch spot. The views on the roof top was phenomenal. It was a very hot day and they had fans for every table which was nice. The food was family style like a lot of Austin. We got the baba ghanoush, patatas bravas and the quiles to share. Everything was delicious. I got an espresso martini as well and just as good. The decor inside and out was beautiful and the wallpaper was very Instagram photo friendly. read more

I wish I would have been here for happy hour! I probably would have tried more drinks/food if I was there during this window of time. This place is definitely *a vibe*. The staff were a little sassy though. If you are in Austin for a girls trip, this place makes sense to add to your itinerary. Fun fact: It's called P6 because it is an old parking garage. I had to explain that to the people in my group, so apparently not everyone connects those dots. Pro tip: Be sure to make your reservations well in advance. We were stuck with a 9pm seating time (on a random Wednesday night) and let me tell you it gets CHILLY up there on a March night. read more

I didn't have high hopes for the food. We only got one dish because we'd already eaten somewhere else but wanted something to snack on while having drinks. We ordered the local mushrooms and greens and couldn't finish it. Not the best. The drinks were good. I tried the Mocking Bird. A little too sweet for my liking but strong none the less. Fair prices as well. I visited after dark so the views weren't like they'd be during the day but still beautiful! We got there with no reservations on a Wednesday night around 9pm and were sat immediately at a table with front row river views. Trust your gut on how to get there. It's on the 6th floor as insinuated in the name. Taking the main elevator in the lobby to the 6th floor takes you to a long hallway of hotel rooms. Go towards your right all the way down the hallway, through some glass doors, following the lights. The vibes no matter the time of day here are immaculate! Staff was great. The decor and aesthetic of the patio space was lovely and instagrammable. There is a variation of seating between tables and chairs (comfortable chairs), couches, and plush seating. Would love to visit again for sunset! read more

Hidden away in THe Line hotel is P6. It used to be a bar and restaurant. The bar is now all assigned seating, so make reservations to assure a stay. The good: wonderful environment and ambience, great views. Delicious drinks. Perfect for a girls night or small get together. (Perfect for pictures) The bad: didn't have actual entrees only small sides tapa style. With that being said the food was beyond flavorful and exquisite! They may be small but did not lack in flavor! The shrimps were big and appetizing. The mushroom pasta with an egg yolk was mouthwatering delectable. The ugly: due to COVID 19% gratuity is added to all tickets. I feel like this caused our main waitress to overlook our order. Luckily there was a a girl who brought the food who was extremely attentive which made up for it. Would I still recommend? Absolutely yes, If you don't have a big appetite and are looking for a perfect drink, tasty appetizers and wonder ambience.... You must try P6! read more

I came here to celebrate a special occasion....my birthday with my two daughters. I can't rave enough about this place. It shows the best view of Lake Austin. The ambiance and vibe is so chill. It was happy hour and we ordered the Patatas Bravas and Charcuterie and Cheese. So delicious. The service was second to none. We met Melvin and when I asked what was his fave cocktails, he said it was the Tencha Martini, Coconut Clover and Sundown Cobbler and we ordered all three. It hit the spot. Our group was very happy with their entrees. Although I really ordered a fruit bowl, there was so many things I appreciated- the ambiance, flexible staff (brought us so many teas and hot waters with lemon and honey for our post drinking night). The other thing I ha e to say was a game changer was the way they did the bill via upngopay. Sooooo easy for such a big group. You don't have to whip out the calculator and every business should use this. Uses a QR code and you just check off what you got and it adds tip and tax for you. The first app that is absolutely fair. So kudos to you p6. read more

Stop 2 of the night with our group of 9 for a bachelorette party. We made reservations ahead of time and were seated indoors. But we convinced our way out to the patio early in the night which was better (but a little chilly). Why would we want to come to a rooftop bar if we can't be outside, ya know?! The servers were nice - we had multiple throughout the night. They occasionally came and checked on us. The place was packed on a Friday night. We all had a lot of fun here and the drinks just kept coming! They were tasty and swanky. There weren't many parking options other than valet that I saw but I can't remember how much that was. We had to walk through the hotel to get to the rooftop. The hotel looked very nice with mood lighting and modern decor touches. Overall though, P6 was great - moody and fun! read more

Loved the view from the patio of Lady Bird Lake! A heads up, do not come here if you are hungry. P6 is mainly for conversation, views and cocktails with limited bites. The sundown cobbler and ladybird spritz are deliciously refreshing on a hot day...which is almost like daily in Austin. The mkt crudo, charred broccolis and patatas bravas were excellent. Our server was great and attentive as was the hostess and we were thoroughly impressed with their nifty little app that allows you check out and split the tab all while remaining contactless. The server brings you a receipt with a QR code, you scan, select how many ways to split and if you want to add an additional tip as 18% is automatically included, it provides you with the total, you add your credit card, sign, and done! One more tip, don't fret over parking....you can park in the garage attached to the hotel and they validate parking which reduces the rate to $10. read more

Entrance to P6 is through the hotel lobby, into an elevator, to the top floor. Patio seating overlooking the water is lovely to enjoy in the cool times of the day. Food is mediocre, but drinks are unique and tasty. The patio seating is arranged for conversation and drinks. If you're coming to eat, request a table on the patio or inside dining. We parked on the street right past the hotel after 6 with no worries. Great spot to bring friends and catch up together on the patio. read more

Views are excellent... IF you even get a table anywhere near them. This restaurant is poorly executed in my opinion. They have beautiful views of the river but there is no guarantee that you will even be able to see it from your table (even with reservations) and yet you're still paying "fancy view prices". My experience: - Arrived at The Line Hotel (which is way cool btw) to find that there are no signs on how to get to P6. - The elevator is super sketchy and in the back corner without any airflow at all (seemed like an afterthought or service elevator). - Originally was sat at a "table" (their seating are little vignettes of couches/patio furniture that is NOT comfortable AT ALL and really impractical to eat at) nowhere near the view. The tiny view that we did have was completely obstructed by a shade they rolled down. - We asked to be moved to a "table" with a view and were finally re-seated but still had a difficult time seeing the view as we were further back at a SUPER low to the ground vignette. - The staff was friendly but the drinks and the menu items were overrated. - Stayed for an hour and a half, took some pictures, and went somewhere else to eat more food. My order: - Sundown Cobbler cocktail - Yummy, but tasted mostly like sprite. - Paper Plane cocktail - Yummy, smooth, easy drinker. - Whipped ricotta - Way more food than we expected but the olives and the nuts were better than the ricotta. It lacked a lot of flavor and mostly just helped to fill me up. Long story short - NOT worth the hype. read more

One of the best views of Ladybird Lake that I've seen in a unique and eclectic hotel right at the start of downtown Austin. Dropped in for brunch and got the pastry board, hummus and steak & eggs. All of the above were baked and cooked great. The pastries were all a little different ranging from soft to slightly crispier, chocolate and no chocolate etc. but all really yummy. The steak & eggs was just the right amount and the steak was one of the most tender I've had, more like a pulled beef. Check this place out! Easy 5 stars! read more

I came here with a couple of friends and we had a blast! The ambiance is incredible and I just loved the view! We came during happy hour, which is literally one hour, 4-5pm, and I ordered the Sundowncobbler and Homemade Pita bread. Im not a huge drinker, but I really enjoyed my drink and loved that there was fruit in it. The pita bread was incredible! I loved how soft and warm the pita was. It was perfect with the chimichurri. Parking- You can park in the garage for the hotel, but they only validate for the first hour I believe, which is only $5. Luckily we found street parking next to the garage which isn't nearly as expensive. Payment- I actually really loved that you paid online! It makes it very easy to split the check amongst friends without bothering the servers! read more

Very very bad customer service. Was turned down very rudely the first day coming because they weren't taking walk-ins. I was told to make a reservation, and I made one for the patio for the next day, but just to be told rudely again that they were overbooked and couldn't seat me outside. I was excited to bring an out-of-town visitor to this spot for its beautiful views of Lady Bird Lake. While the views are quite nice, the food and drinks were disappointing. We came for brunch on Sunday, and the menu options were limited. My friend ordered a biscuit, which, unfortunately, was not all that appealing looking or tasting. We also wanted to order coffee, but the espresso machine wasn't working. When asked about tea options, they only had one black tea to offer. I was surprised that such a nice place did not seem more prepared or set up. It is possible it was an off morning, but hopefully in the future or at different times there are more food and drink options. read more

This place was so cute! Perfect place to take a girlfriend visiting. Pros: -Amazing views, perfect for a brunch or sunset happy hour. You're paying for the vibes and views, FYI. -Good pastries - loved the pastry basket -Friendly staff - shoutout to Gabriela (I hope I got her name right, the hostess!) who was so kind -Fun drink options / quick service -Tables felt spaced out well Cons: -You have to pay $10 for self-parking, and that's the validated price -There's an automatic gratuity regardless of party size (not a big deal) and 3% "Covid surcharge for health and safety measures" which none of it goes to staff. I'd be great with it if it included hazard pay, but considering they were all wearing their own masks and they were only spraying down tables, it seemed pretty shady to me. My first time in Austin wouldn't have been complete without brunch at P6. I'm a big brunch person, I live in DC. Therefore, my expectations were pretty high! Let me start with saying the food was the best part! Wow wow wow. The flavors and variety were everything. We made a reservation of four people, my best friend is pregnant so I didn't overindulge on drinks. I did try the Ladybird Spritz, it was okay. I think I've realized I'm not the biggest fan of Aperol Spritz anyway. But my friend got a watermelon mocktail and it was so good! It's the pink flowery drink in the picture. My husband and her husband got tequila drinks. Now they were pretty good! The view with the food and drinks? Amazing! It's tricky to find a place with decent food and drinks for a reasonable price, but I think this place was pretty reasonable. We ordered so many plates and a handful of single drinks for about $45 each. I definitely recommend if you're in town and feeling a cute brunch place with tasty bites! The patatas bravas and pita-quiles were the absolute best! read more
