We ate at this restaurant before the Pandemic and I was very disappointed. I was dying for vegetarian lettuce wraps and what I got was a very tasty vegetarian mixture and soaking wet lettuce leaves! The waitress told me the lettuce leaves were "kept over ice" therefore, they were soaking wet. I spent the meal trying to wipe the wet leaves off but they were too frozen. I ordered the same thing a couple of months later for takeout and got the same soaking wet lettuce leaves. Went to HEB and bought my own lettuce leaves and was able to eat a proper lettuce wrap. There HAS to be something they can do about this problem??? Ate at the one in Austin several times and this was never an issue.... Always been of fan of P.F. Chang's but it appears this location has went downhill. Went for lunch on Thursday March 5, and it seemed like an "off" day for the entire restaurant. After we were sat, we waited for some time before anyone came to our table, and that person was the hostess. We ordered our food and drinks with her, then a server came to go over it with us. Food came out, they forgot my rice (which was awful, who thought you could mess up white rice?). Other than that the food was decent. The servers looked a little disheveled and not near as put together as I'd expect from P.F. Chang's. I always viewed this chain as most classy, but it seems they've fallen in line with Applebee's and Chili's as far as standards go. read more

I took my parents out for their first time at PFChangs today for a late lunch. Our server Rachel was top notch! She was knowledgeable about the menu & drinks. As well, had a great personality & humor. We also had the bartender come over and discuss our sake options at their own will. Food was also great! I was disappointed in the quality of the food. The chicken was rubbery and lacked flavor on the Chang's spicy chicken.

Haven't been here since they opened. We quit coming then because the food was cold when we got it and not good. That's been two or three years ago so we decided to give it a chance one more time and tonight the food was terrible. It came out cold. The rice fried rice was cold which means they must've cooked it earlier and they just threw it in the bowl. The Mongolian beef was so tough I couldn't chew it. It's really a shame because we used to love going to PF Changs in Dallas the food was always so delicious and hot and tasty but not here so we will not be coming back read more

Inconsistent service and food. Lobster dish was way too salty. A random female server made our infant child cry not once but twice by interjecting herself into our evening to smile at our kid. I lived in Dallas for 12 years and was a regular at the PFChangs in Addison. It was always a treat, somewhat more upscale (from Olive Garden at least), great atmosphere, service and food. I've put off going to the PFC in Waco because of the bad reviews. Tonight, hubs and I decided to give it a try. The interior is more like a big Pei Wei than the interior of the PFCs I used to love. The server was nice but maybe new as he really couldn't answer any questions. My husband ordered a new beer to try. We ordered lettuce wraps immediately. 15 min later ordered another beer and our other food. Completely different beer came out but the waiter said it was the same (the first was dark, the second like a shanty )...still no lettuce wraps. 15 minutes later all our food except the wraps came out at once; no chopsticks or soy sauce dish for the sushi. Finally the wraps came out! The food was pretty good thank goodness, but def not exceptional. And it was freezing inside. Not sure if this is a lowered down, more mainstream PFC concept or if they have just gone downhill. We'll most likely not be back. read more

I have to say the food has all been very good. Last summer I think the restaurant had some issues and received some low ratings. But since September I think the restaurant has done great and the food has been very good. The counter help is always nice and helpful. The food tasted freshly prepared. The California roll and shrimp roll were very good and the roll was executed well. You don't want a roll that's too big or too small or has too much of one ingredient. They do this right.. The crispy honey shrimp was also very good. I've also had the Kung pap shrimp, also very good but it can get kind of spicy for me. The Szechuan asparagus has a nice char to it, quite a lot of garlic, but I liked it. read more

So on to the main corse, my wife had the honey chicken with white rice, I had the sesame chicken, both were the chicken was over cooked to the point of being dry. The plum wine was good but the twisted whiskey sour was a lot of alcohol and not much sour. The thing that got me was, when I made the reservation they asked if it was for a special occasion and I said yes it's our anniversary of 11 years, the hostess asked us as well and our waitress also, but in the end nothing, not a congratulations, a note, a free dessert or anything. I ask the waiter if they were making food ahead to prepare for the dinner rush. He sent the manager over who denied they had, but he didn't have an explanation for the cold food. The manager saw us waiting and waiting but never came to our table. To add to our enjoyment, a server dropped a whole tray of dishes all over the floor, and didn't mop it up. So we decided on an easy night at home so we ordered pickup at p f changs. I forgot my phone at home so I couldn't call to tell them what slot I was in. Therefore I went inside. The little girls at the front went to look for my order. The manager, Martha, came up and said they were having trouble finding my order but she'd buy me a drink at the bar while she went to check things further. While I was enjoying my drink she came back land apologized but my order was lost in the system. It just reorder anything I want and she'll put a rush on it. I ordered 2 more expensive meals than the original order and edamame. It came out just as I finished my drink and the check I signed was for the lower priced original order. So I mad up for it by enhancing the tip. So....Martha it's places that have people like you that we al appreciate. This is the first time I've gone to this restaurant in a very long time. This new restaurant in Waco just opened so my wife and I are very excited to come here. The establishment itself looks wonderful. The staff is very friendly and courteous. My wife and I ordered the tempura calamari as vegetables for starters, iced tea and cucumber limeade. Then we ordered our main course, the Ahi poke bowl and Oolong Chilean sea bass. We also ordered the Great Wall chocolate desert to go. The ahi poke is very delicious specially when you add a bit of the dressing that goes with it. The sea bass is delicious as well with the buttered sautéed spinach. The fish it self is soft, fluffy and cooked just right, in my opinion. Now for the appetizer, the tempura calamari and vegetable came in after our main course. They were having difficulties with the tempura's marinations so it was delayed. But nevertheless the appetizer was delicious. Then it was time for the check. They have forgotten the desert that we ordered to go. All in all the food the we ordered are delicious and I recommend it to anyone that comes to this restaurant. Come early because the restaurant was beginning to fill up quick when we left. The delay of food and misplaced orders is just a part growing pain for a brand new restaurant. read more
