Looking for a brunch place in Waco, or on a long drive down from DFW? I would highly recommend Harvest on 25th to anyone looking for locally owned, fresh, farm to table, delicious food! I ordered the beef chorizo hash (added avocado) and was thoroughly pleased with every bit of it! The zucchini pickles were a unique addition! Our server Calliope was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful, as it was our first time eating here! The restaurant's interior is also so beautiful and calming. The green walls, numerous plants, and beautiful art make this place a serene spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch alone or with family and friends! I will definitely be back on my travels to and from the DFW area (:
It was a busy Saturday morning at harvest. I ordered the lavender pistachio granola bowl because it sounded super fresh, spring-y, and the flavors intrigued me because i lovee lavender. I was alittle confused when the bowl arrived because it looked like the most generic strawberry blueberry granola bowl. I continued to be confused when eating because i could not taste any lavender or pistachio. It was fine tasting but SO not what i thought this meal was going to be. If you want a generic yogurt bowl, order it! I also ordered a side of sweet potato hash which was nothing to rave about. I usually have great experiences here, but today was a bit of a let down.
So good. The food, the service, cute place as well, highly recommend for a quick healthy brunch
Food: Delicious! Service: Quick! Friendly! Ambiance: quiet and chill lunch vibe Parking was fairly easy too! Overall a great time.
Im not from Waco, in town for a baseball tournament and stopped here to have some breakfast. Everything was delicious, I had the H25 chile relleno and it was amazing! My husband had the Happy Harvest plate his eggs were seasoned to perfection and we shared a cinnamon roll. The service was perfect! The employee not only did she take our order but brought us our food and was very attentive with coffee. The location is small but very cozy. Loved it!
Cute little eat in in Waco. We were seated immediately by our sweet hostess who offered us a menu that catered to any dietary considerations (ie gluten free). My husband and I chose a traditional breakfast to split with an extra sausage patty. You have to try their sausage. They make their own patties and they are delicious, a little spicy, but delicious. Eggs were scrambled with extra herbs and seasoning, also delicious. My daughter was able to "make her own", which is unusual unless it's an Omelette so this was a nice alternative for someone who likes breakfast but not necessarily eggs and her husband ordered a Chorizo bowl which looked delicious (even though I'm not a Chorizo fan) and he said it was very good! Definitely recommend and would definitely return. They also have cute stickers for us road trippers.
We stumbled across this place looking for a fresh lunch spot in Waco and it was absolutely delicious!! The breakfast tacos, burger and sweet potatoes were incredibly fresh and well worth the visit. The ambiance was pleasant with a ton of seating. There was little to no wait and reasonably priced. Service was great. Try them out - definitely a foodie's lunch spot.
Went there to take my elderly mother, who is vegan, out to eat. The menu does offer something for everyone. Some of the food was good, some was just ok. None of the food was terrible but the sweet potato fries that came with the cheese burger were soggy and slimy. We also ordered a Margherita pizza that never came, so we asked for it to go after everyone was done eating. To be fair, the place was busy, so it might've been an "understaffed" issue. The place was not very accessible for disabled people as well. Seems like a good place if you're strictly vegan or vegetarian, otherwise I'd go elsewhere.
Very solid 4 stars as the vegan Tacos were excellent. Counter service was efficient but I'm not a fan of doing the counter thing standing and feeling hurried to make a decision. My partners Kale salad was OK. Coconut bacon topping was not what we expected but ok too. Super nice that they offered to go iced teas.
Vegan heaven in Waco. So grateful for delicious healthy food. I had the cauliflower bowl and paid extra for avo. It was good- the flavor combo of the harissa and balsamic mmm. Limited parking. Order at the counter, and find seating. Tap water is warm, no ice available.
What an incredible breakfast spot! Our friends that live in Waco brought us here to eat and we were not disappointed! A beautiful bright place with such delicious and healthy foods! The cranberry orange biscuits were incredible!! This place is a must while in Waco. I just regret not getting more pictures of the beautiful delicious food! We will be back. 5 stars for sure!!
This was an amazing local find while passing through town. Delicious gluten free pancakes. The sweet potato hash was also amazing. It's kind of a self service which was fine. Order at the counter and then they bring your food out. You have to go to the counter to ask for more coffee which was strange. Not super busy which was nice. The decor is cute and retro. Staff were friendly.
Stopped in for the All-Day-Breakfast and this was the best decision I've made all day! I ordered the Zucchini Mushroom Omelette and embarrassed to say I ate every, single bite. This was an incredibly delicious brunch. The service was great, I beat the lunch rush so there was seating options, and I cannot wait to come back again when I'm in town. Highly recommend for all.
The line NEVER stops here ! This was a completely random stop for us everything was absolutely delicious and they've got solid vegan breakfast options & vegan bakery items galore . ( vegan coffee cake !) BEST vegan cold biscuit I've ever had ! Not kidding , herby savory and all the things you want a biscuit to be except ours was COLD .. The only con here is that line , not enough staff for this kinda rush and there was NO dedicated staff member to take orders . You're supposed to order , seated , etc etc . However the gal was doing 100 things so could only come to front to take an order about once every 10 min which was wild . After standing there for what felt like forever in line I finally realized to-go orders had priority so I placed my order online on my phone in line ;) . Boom order up faster than that line and wait would have taken . Bummer we couldn't sit inside the restaurant . Definitely a must try but make sure to order ahead of time . read more
We walked in and checked the menu. I had the chille relleno and my husband built his breakfast (see photo). The atmosphere is quaint and bright, and you can sit and stay a long time. Business groups are here, students, and people that need a quiet place to just be. I highly recommend this place for healthy eaters, and those watching ingredients. read more

I really enjoyed my meal here. I stopped by while waiting for my daughter who was attending a clinic at Baylor. This was the best vegan breakfast taco I have ever had! Thank you for providing a delicious meal for us vegans! Made my day! My pancake was delicious as well and I enjoyed my coffee. It's a small spot but I would definitely come back the next time I am in Waco. You order before you sit down and eat. Everyone seemed pretty respectful of not sitting forever and finishing up so someone else can have the table. There is also a little outdoor seating as well. I just really enjoyed their interesting menu. Great spot! I love that every meal isn't huge they have so many options for light meals as well. read more

So fresh, delicious, and nourishing. My husband absolutely adored his avocado salad. Avocado toast for me, too. We love the peaceful atmosphere. No crazy loud music. In fact, we enjoyed their play list. We could quietly converse and still even hear one another. Topochico, coffee. We will be back again, again, and again. read more

Stopped by harvest when we were in town for breakfast/brunch. Good sized menu and everything is labeled with for Gluten Free, Vegan, or Vegetarian items, which is so helpful! Our food came out quickly. The only downside was that the portions were small for the price. (We ordered Avocado Toast, And Pepper Toast that were over $10 each and were served a small piece of bread with toppings and no sides. I Just think the portions as well as the quality and size of bread could be better. Spacious restaurant and nice vibe. read more

Awsome local spot sourcing local ingredients. Finding good gluten-free options can be difficult at times, but not here. They even have gluten-free pastries, which are darn near difficult to come by in most places. I started off with the Beef Chorizo Hash, which was delicious. A glass of their cold pressed OJ, bold coffee, and grain-free brownie. I was so impressed by their menu I totally over order and got a breakfast taco which I'm sure I won't have room to eat! (Update - it was so good I ate it all) read more

If you love chocolate like I do then the Choc Orange Pancakes are the dish for you! They tasted like chocolate truffles melting in my mouth! The tangy orange slice was the perfect accompaniment! Most surprisingly these were vegan. My day was made!! My husband loved his vegan taco's The plate came with one so he ordered two, But the price was still reasonable. read more

I get what they're trying to do here, but to be honest they fell a bit flat. The pancakes were dense and just raw enough to turn back into dough in my mouth, the potatoes were burnt (not charred, just straight up burnt), taco was fine, eggs and bacon were great! Visiting from a state that has amazing gluten free options, and as far as Texas goes, Harvest on 25th is a good option if you have allergies, but if you want food that tastes good as well maybe try elsewhere. Service was great, they were kind, quick, and attentive! Ambiance gives bible camp food hall. A few communal tables, white empty walls with the exception of a few hanging plants and the pictured mural. read more

Super calm place with plants everywhere:) the environment is welcoming everyone is friendly but the star of the show is the food ! Everything tasted so fresh and clean you can tell they care about what they put on their table. And the sweets, I'm trying to cut back but it was so temping watching them put them on display straight from the cookie sheet. Fresh baked goods, great food, good people. WILL BE COMING BACK. read more
If you're looking for an amazing brunch place, look no further than Harvest on 25th. I have had millions of breakfast sandwiches and pancakes in my life, but never have I had these dishes like how they make them at Harvest. It's obviously clear that each item on the menu was crafted with the smallest details in mind. Buckle your seatbelts when you get to your table because the food is so good that you might fall off your chair. The portions are smaller, so I recommend sharing a couple of dishes with your table. The cost is on the pricier end, but the quality of the food is so good that you won't even be mad about how much you paid for brunch. Also, they have the option to reserve tables on Google, but the place seems like a first-come, first-serve place. read more
Met my girlfriends from Dallas here (I live in Austin). You order at the counter and take a number at one of their indoor dining tables. Food is brought to you when it's ready. I liked that this restaurant was food allergy friendly as my friend has celiac disease. Can only comment on the pork tacos but they were really good. slow cooked pork melted In your mouth. This place just needs some mimosas and would be great brunch place. Barely any parking but there is an open lot 1 block over. read more

Just had some of the most delicious breakfast ever. This place is fantastic and I highly recommend that you come here and try anything on the menu. I had the Jay's which are pancakes with fresh blueberries and oh my gosh it was heaven. I try to stay fit exercise and eat clean and I must say that this place has the most fantastic dishes! I'm from Dallas, but will definitely be back to Waco and have a great meal again. I ordered the chorizo hash and added a side of avocado. read more
