Did call ahead seating on a Friday night, picked the 7:30 time slot. We arrived at 7:30 but didn't get seated until 7:50 and there were plenty of empty tables. Our waiter James came over and took our drink order and returned a few minutes later. After our drinks were delivered, he was MIA. He finally came back and took our dinner orders but wouldn't take the empty glasses away no matter how many times we put them at the end of the table. Food was ok, rice upcharge was never mentioned. I've gotten food here several times now and I've been underwhelmed every time. The food lacks flavor and the staff isn't very friendly. Today I preordered the vegetable fried rice with a sweet tea as my drink. I arrived a few minutes before my 4:45pm pick up time and gave the hostess my name AFTER she took the people who walked in behind me. Talk about line jumping because the place was busy. I stood there for 10 minutes before asking again about my order. For some reason, even though I was standing in front of her, she had forgotten I was there. She apologized, called back again and, almost immediately, someone came out if the kitchen with my order. I left, went to where I was going to be eating my meal, looked in the bag for a straw but, low and behold, NOT one utensil was in the bag. Not even chopsticks! I took the lid off of the drink, took a sip and almost spit it out. It wasn't the sweet tea I had ordered. While it was tea, it was neither sweetened or iced, yuck. And the fried rice? My family and I were in the area, we live about 45 minutes away, and decided to eat here since we do not have this restaurant in our town. Needless to say we were disappointed with our time there. Our waitress was not attentive to our table at all. My husband did not get his correct drink and my bar drink took longer than expected. We ordered our food and our waitress Moe was nowhere to be seen when it came to our table. We waited a good 4-5 minutes because she was with another table. I do not think my husband got the meal he ordered, we both asked for additional seasoning because the food was bland. He hardly touched his food and when Moe finally came around to give us our bill she ignored the fact that his plate was full. Waited 40-50 minutes before receiving our appetizer. A table of 4 that sat down 15 minutes after us got their whole meal before we even got our appetizer. The bulgogi steak was so dry that you basically had to dunk it in water to make it moist. The sesame chicken (of course is breaded) but tasted like we were eating straight flour. Well.......I made a 7:00 reservation and we were not seated till 7:20 ! Really not acceptable at all. Waitress warned us that the kitchen was behind, little did we know just how behind it was. Warning sign should have been that the take out line was backed up. Ordered an appetizer which came promptly, of course it was only edamame. Then came the wait wait wait wait and apologizes from the waitress. We were as patient and understanding as we can possibly be. Then the waitress said that they made my husbands dinner WRONG and needed to make it over......well they must of had to slaughter the chicken out back !!! OVER an hour to NEVER get his dinner. Brought out my dinner without his....at my husbands insistence I tried to nibble on my dinner....didnt work out well. FINALLY after being there for almost 2 hours enough was enough. THE MANAGER SHOULD Have COME TO OUR TABLE WITHOUT MY HUSBAND ASKING TO SEE HIM. THEN we waited over 15 minutes for him to NEVER come over. We were at the register paying for what we had eaten, and the manager finally came over and said there was no charge ! He apologized and shook my husbands hand. I little too late for his apology. I love P.F. Chang's and was incredibly excited when this one was opening close to home. I had my fourth experience at the restaurant last night, when my daughter took me out for my birthday. Unfortunately, this particular restaurant is simply not up to the standards from a food or service perspective compared with literally every other PF Chang's I've ever been to. At this particular location, you get the service you would expect at Buffalo wild wings and poorly prepared food. The first time I went, I was like "OK, they are opening... Maybe it will get better." After last night, it was obvious that's not the case. I ordered a spicy tuna roll. Now, please understand that I have probably eaten hundreds of sushi rolls in my life. Whoever is in charge of preparing sushi here certainly has no knowledge or passion for it... and it's an ASIAN RESTAURANT. The rolls were so sloppy that The crumbled when I tried to pick them up with my cup sticks. There was probably 2x the amount of rice on each piece, and the tuna tasted like it was freezer burned and/soaking in water. Just really bad. They did comp me for it, and the server was nice and understood. The edamame was dried out and had brown spots on it... again, I just think there's a freshness issue or something. The staff there are "nice." But, it's just not the typical feel of the chain where the service is above and beyond like a higher end restaurant. I rarely write a negative review on yelp, but I thought it was worth taking the time for this one for two reasons. One, I hope that they can get their act together this location and get leader ship that knows how to build an incredible team. Haven't dined here since COVID, but sure pleased with our return. COVID ready. No worries, yet we didn't feel we were in an institution. Even the tables not available for seating were decorated with a black cloth, fitting in with Chang's color scheme. This five-star visit started off with a warm greeting at the reception station. Our reservation (a must!) got us seated post haste. Hillary, our server, greeted us warmly and got right down to the business of taking good care of us. She noted Happy Hour (who does that anymore) pricing and took our drink and appetizer order with no pressure to order entrees and turn the table. Hillary suggested several dishes . . . we went with Chang's Spicy Chicken and combination fried rice. Both were as advertised: fresh from scratch. Management was visible and involved. I was very shocked that when I received my order it was poorly made and assembled. The white rice was drenched in the sauce from the meat. The meat very charred/smoked. Our meals were great, the waiter, Jadon, was very efficient and personable, and the manager, Mike Crenny is in a class by himself. This is a new addition to an upcoming area. This place is just Going to get busier and busier. I called in Saturday morning for reservations and they already told me that they been booked up since Wednesday. We decided to just wing it and go that evening. We got there around 5, The current wait time was two hours. If we were going for a birthday celebration I would've probably went somewhere else. I don't know if it was busy because of prom season or that's normal for them but we decided to wait. They said that it could be sooner than two hours but they had to be generous with the wait time. We did end up waiting for the two hours but luckily they call and text you when your table is ready so you're not sitting there with the pager. Once we got in and seated we knew exactly what we wanted we ordered the dynamite shrimp and the lettuce wraps for starters. The appetizers came out quickly and the shrimp was delicious. It's kind of reminiscent to the bang bang shrimp from Carrabba's. We ordered our meals we ordered the Mongolian beef, Sesame chicken, The crispy shrimp and sweet and sour chicken. For ordering four meals, We got one bowl of rice. It was just enough but having a little extra would've been nice. I would highly recommend the Mongolian beef. I was a little disappointed I didn't order it myself so I could've eaten a lot more of it. But having four different dishes to try have a lot of variety. The restaurant itself was nice. The waitstaff was nice. Just a little surprise Of the size of the restaurant. For a restaurant such high in demand it was on the smaller side for such a big area. We haven't been to a P. F. Chang's in a while. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It is clean and open. Our server was polite and friendly. Our food was OK. Four meals for four people and no one raved about their meal or complained. It was just OK. The portion of honey chicken was very large but the portion ginger chicken was much smaller. We did have the Great Wall of Chocolate for dessert. It was delicious. We paid extra to have ice cream on the side. I ordered the chicken pad thai with shrimp because I don't like to eat meat. I'm not sure what was in it other than shrimp. It seemed like pork. This wasn't a problem for me but may have been for other customers. There was only one stall working in the women's restroom. The restaurant was full and there was a line. Overall the food was OK, but not worth the price that we paid. I was looking for better flavor. read more

This was my boyfriend and I's first time eating here. We were nothing short of displeased and disappointed. I'm a vegan, and I routinely asked about their menu. I was told exactly what I could and could not order. I was informed that my dish could only be steamed and not stir fried (due to cooking methods being non vegan) so I agreed. My food was supposed to be a steamed vegetable dish with tofu and a sauce. The server told me the sauce in the dish I ordered was not vegan, but she would find one that was and put it on the side for me. I ended up getting a bowl of steamed vegetables with pieces of unflavored tofu that looked more like mushrooms. It was also a painfully small serving size. We only received one bowl of rice to share between the two of us and it tasted cheap. It fell apart and wasn't sticky as we expected it would be. My boyfriend ordered their sesame chicken which according to him, was mediocre at best and far too overpriced for the small serving size. In summary, the serving sizes are awful, the prices are steep compared to what you get, they don't accommodate vegans very well, and last but not least, the manager that came to our table apologized but did not offer to reduce our bill (which he absolutely should have done). We had to try this out on my wife's insistence that she went here one time long time ago and had good Lo Mein. So we made a reservation since the place has been packed ever since opening. Arrived a few min before our time and told there would be just a short wait. Headed to the bar and ordered a Moscow mule and some kind of sparkling thing for my wife. Probably the last two drinks we would ever have there. We watched as the bartender made perhaps the weakest drinks we have seen in awhile. I don't even think it was a full one count for the st Germaine added to my wife's drink. Seated after the promised short wait. The place is very new and clean looking. Ordered some crab Rangoon as an app. They were tasty but could have been more than 4 for $6. I had the szechuan beef with fried rice, she got the lo mein. My beef should have in no way had Szechuan anywhere near the name. Had absolutely no spice and the beef was fried so hard it might have been beef jerky in my bowl. The fried rice, likewise no flavor. Her noodles. They were great. Overall, if your from Lancaster I would skip it. We have 3 very good Chinese restaurants that are not a chain here already. Go to those. Portions are double the size for the same money and some are even BYOB. read more

Finally tried today for lunch. I ordered the Surf & Turf, my husband ordered the Mongolian Beef. More shrimp than lobster in the Surf & Turf, but the filet was very tender. The Mongolian Beef was very flavorful and tender. We started with the Hot & Sour soup it was good, but the serving size was tiny. The pork egg rolls were delicious and the dipping sauce put them over the top. A little pricey, but I am sure that we will return. read more

For years I had caught glimpses of Chang's in malls around affluent suburbs along the east coast. Never able to interrupt our journeys to stop and eat at one, it seemed elusive. It had a kind of mystique, a sophistication, something more metropolitan than one would find in Lancaster county. I waited years...and then it came here. It was as if an old flame you had secretly pined for just showed up at your door and confessed their feelings for you. And then... Sigh. The fantasy died. Dynamite shrimp...oh, I've had these elsewhere already, but never from P.F. Chang's! Maybe they were having an off night. Well I've never had wok-charred brussels sprouts before... and I guess I won't again. The Hokkien Street Noodles are going to turn the tide, I mean they're street food so they must be amazing... or not. Not bad, but I can make much better curry than this myself. Sooooooooo, I've been waiting to try PF Changs for a while now. I was wholly unimpressed. The service was friendly but bad. The server was obviously new at being a server but also obviously very poorly trained. He misheard me when ordering and gave me a shrimp tempura BOWL instead of a ROLL which is fair but there were only 3 of us and I had already ordered an entree...why the hell would 1 person eat 2 entrees? Anyway, the food is mediocre at best. Their famous "changs spicy chicken" is not spicy and I'm also not 100% sure it was chicken. Crab wontons were good. If you go here, make sure you only tip 9%. Especially if your meal is over $200. At this location, they seem to think that is a fair tip. read more

My husband and and I decided to give PF Chang's a try because I'd never been to one. He had told me multiple times before that they weren't anything special but I still wanted to try it as he eats at restaurants alot due to work travel and I thought maybe he just wasn't impressed because it was yet another restaurant meal. We made a reservation online which worked out great. When we arrived the check in process seemed disorganized but they had our reservation and seated us immediately. My first impression was wow this place is so loud it's going to be hard to have a conversation, which it was. My second thought was wow we're so close to the people next to us. As I purused the menu I was kind of shocked how few options you really had for a main meal, or shall I say for your meat dish. My husband ordered the szechuan beef with brown rice and I ordered spring rolls and honey chicken with white rice. Most of the options were repeated in poultry, beef or seafood versions and there wasn't really any veggies that came with the dishes except green onion and carrots. It took a while for the food to come out. Spring rolls were nice and crisp but I didn't care for the sauce, just a personal preference. The beef sauce was really yummy but beef itself seemed kinda chewey. The honey chicken looked better then it tasted. It was sweet which was expected hence the name but it had an extremely strong vinegar taste that I was not a fan of. Our rice was also served in the same bowl which was odd considering I asked for white and husband asked for brown. Food overall was just OK and unimpressive. Service wasn't good. Our waiter was either not very good or had way too many tables because it took forever to order and he never really checked for drink refills. We ended up asking for boxes, check and handing him payment all at once to ensure we wouldn't be held hostage at our table waiting for his return. All in all I would much prefer to go to one of our local Chinese restaurants over PF Chang's. I'll be content to not go back but if I had to, I'd probably try the sushi as thats what the people next to us had and it looked really yummy. read more

I might be a simpleton when it comes to Chinese food, but I know what I like, and P.F. Chang's food does not even come close. We were given $100 in gift cards a couple of years ago, but never found an opportunity to use them. While traveling cross-country with my wife to visit family, we decided to give them a try. Our to-go total came to about $105 with tax and included the staples: broccoli and beef, Mongolian beef, sesame chicken, fried rice, lo mein, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and crab wantons. First, let me say that ordering online was fairly easy and had lots of options for specifying extra sauce, sauce on the side, chopsticks, etc. And, though service in the restaurant was a bit fractured, the employees were professional and helpful. That aside, why do I buy Chinese food? Because I like the taste! We liked absolutely none of what we ordered. At best, some of the simpler items were acceptable. The beef in both dishes was tough and chewy. It could not be cut with a fork, as is common for beef and broccoli. Maybe we expected the crab wantons to have cream cheese and other flavors, which were simply not present, but we didn't enjoy them. The price was higher than the average independent Chinese restaurant, and the food inferior. We will not be back. read more

The roll was good but for 15 it was tiny. Beef with broccoli was no better than the hole in the wall take out joint. Was so excited to have one closer to me. After waiting and watching other people who came in the same time as us get their food like it was some prank from a tv show. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Excellent selection of special cocktails. Both were well made and tasty. Apps included won ton soup (very fresh ingredients) and pork egg rolls (again, very fresh and very good). Entrees included sesame chicken with brown rice and a dragon roll sushi. Both were excellent. The sesame chicken was perfectly prepared with a tasty sauce. This was much better than most Asian restaurants in that the chicken was cooked perfectly, still nice and tender. So many places over cook the smaller pieces. Dragon roll was excellent with seared tuna on top. Service was great, very attentive and accommodating. The place is very noisy (it was very busy), and the parking is nuts due to its location in a huge shopping center. We will definitely be back. read more

Had a really nice mid-afternoon meal with the family! Was disappointed that they were out of my favorite dish-Spicy Eggplant and I add chicken. I tried the Kung Pao Chicken and did not really care for it. It was a little dry and they were more than generous with the peanuts. Our other meals were great and the sushi roll hit the spot. Have been to many PF Chang locations in and outside the country. Always look forward to going here. This branch opened recently and is a welcome addition to the Lancaster area. Recently opened in March 2018. Had great service, friendly and attentive servers, good food. We ordered Kung Pao Shrimp and Shrimp Salad for our main course. Shrimp was soft and tasty. Meals were fresh and spice level adequate. Came with white rice. For starters we had their chicken and shrimp dumplings. Both were soft and just melted in the mouth. Also had their hot and sour soup - this was a disappointment and did not meet the normal standard. It was too sour and we could not finish it. The manager came at the end for feedback and listened and took our complaint well. He offered to replace and get something else which was nice on his part. The décor inside is contemporary, has adequate seating areas. The noise level inside however, is high. We were there at lunchtime when it was full of people and while we had to talk loud because of the level. Overall, always glad to have a P.F. Chang in Lancaster area. read more

The lunch bowls here are amazing!!!! Service is usually good, the ramen bowl and curry noodle bowl are great. The honey chicken is the best chicken I've ever had. Opening night was a hit! We have been waiting for Chang's to come to our area for quite some time, so we decided to go on opening night. We did make reservations, which we had to wait about 20 minutes for, but not bad. Walk in's were in for a two hour wait, of which people were actually waiting (that's crazy). They had a ton of staff on for their first night to be sure everything went smoothly. Plenty of greeters and hosts at the door, and at least a dozen, if not more, servers throughout the place. I think it went extremely well for a super busy opening night. Our server said there were people waiting outside when they opened at 4:30. The food was really good, the service was great, and overall we were very happy. I'll probably wait to go back until the craze slows down a little bit, but with online reservations they do make it easy. read more
