My kids wanted to go to pfchangs and this one was a little closer than the one in Edgewater. Great place parking is terrible. You can get valet for $5 I think. Super slow service and the prices are a bit steep. I ordered the sesame chicken which was super tasty but for the price I was expecting a lot more chicken than I got. My kids got the chicken fried rice on the kids menu comes with a drink for $4.50 cannot beat that! They took it back to the kitchen to (make a new one), it came back with 1 broccoli floret in it. The manager apologized once again & said he'll have a fresh one made...it came back out in 3 minutes. That told me right there that it was the same plate. My appetizer came out luke warm. To start the hostess was extremely rude with her side eyeing is when we entered the restaurant! Once we were seated two tables over someone accidentally spilled a drink instead of cleaning it up they laid towels on the floor and left them there for the whole duration of our visit!! Food was meh my daughters rice was crunchy, I never heard of Wong tong soup having spinach in it and the eggplant was filled with just sauce!! Drinks were weak and water tasted gross! Let's start off with the best thing about this restaurant: Carly, who waited on us. She is very cheerful, helpful, and attentive - and that made for an enjoyable dining experience. We started off with the spicy Brussels sprouts. The portion wasn't huge, though it was still enough for 2 people. However, it was very greasy and over seasoned. We also had the Szechuan Chicken, which was good, and the Crispy Honey Shrimp, which was tasty as well. The ambiance is quiet nice, and the restaurant has a nice bar as well. That said, I personally don't know why people come to this restaurant in this area. There are far better choices around for Chinese food or sushi (which is also on the menu). Food is ok if we can get a waiter. Literally every time we are at this location. We will sit for 5,10,15, 20 minutes. Really it's up to the server to finally decide when to come to us to take our order. We have even made sure stealth mode has been deactivated to be visible to the human eye. As the servers just dance by us refusing to make eye contact it makes me wonder if I'm actually dead and I just don't know it. Hmmm. Something to think of. What I do know is that I'm never coming back to PF Chang's located at the riverside mall in NJ ever again. I really like PF Chang's. I probably wouldn't come back on a Saturday again. This was my first time coming in on a weekend, we were told 30mins to seat two and it took an hr. After about 45 a couple left the bar so wanted to sit at the bar but the bartender never cleaned off the countertop even when I asked she took another 20mins. We then tired to sit at the bar table tops and that took even longer, the people who left their seat were telling us how they never got their fried rice and the waitress moved slow so we opted for the bar again, still waiting for the bartender to clean to spot.... Anyways. Fast forward, we ordered our food and we noticed that everyone who came after us was getting their food pretty quick, so I had to keep asking the bartender and she just kept saying it's coming. Then it got to the point where she physically went to check and our food was magically there. She gets 1 star, she was terrible. So much more happened.... I really like the food but the service I would probably give two 1/2 stars for this locations. I only gave it 4 stars because I actually come here a lot and I was pretty surprised about my last experience. Tip: AVOID THE WEEKENDS. I got the Mongolian beef, it was a little dry and cold. I would come back but probably during the week like I usually do so the service is better and the staff is different. read more

My Local Chinese Restaurant is 100 times better than this place. The hostess was very friendly, greeted us and showed us to our table. Considering it wasn't busy because there were only about 6 other guest in the restaurant, our waiter was good and accommodating. As for the food, I would give this place a zero if it allowed me. Everything they made was very salty. Their lo mein had way to much cornstarch. Their RICE was not cooked! We ordered a crab fried rice and we started eating it, it was very grainy. We looked at the rice closely and noticed it wasn't cooked properly. We called the waiter and showed him the rice and agreed that it wasn't cook. So he offered to change it for a different fried rice. So round 2 of the FC, again it wasn't cook. Called the waiter back and showed it to him again how hard the rice was because its not cooked. Ok call me stupid but was I expecting way to much out of a fusion or chinese bistro restaurant? It's rice! How do you mess up on rice? It gets even better, an employee started sweeping around another table while the other guest were still eating. I find that rude and disgusting because while ur sweeping, all that dust goes up in the air and goes into your food as you eat. I posted a review, but Yelp seems to have deleted it. I simply questioned why every single time I order take-out, despite tipping a lot, I never get a napkin, fork, knife, chopsticks, extra sauce or a fortune cookie. They send me off with nothing and it is the biggest disappointment in the world when you get to your destination only to find you have nothing to eat with. I actually had to go out to the supermarket once to buy a box of forks just so that I could eat my cold meal. This is not a one time occurrence, but every single time. At other PF Chang's they have all condiments/napkins/utensils with a lot of fortune cookies in a bag ready for you when you pick up your order. They also ask if there is anything else that you need. That is not the case here with several of the front desk workers. More than once I felt it was a bother to get just a fork or chopsticks and although I wanted a napkin I would not dare ask for it. They were also extremely slow to get what you needed to eat, allowing multiple interruptions in between from the phone, other employees and guests. There is lack of attentiveness / inability to multi-task or work fast and/or someone that hates working/ no smile. read more

I have been craving some of the dry rub ribs from PF Chang's for several months when I first learned about those delicious ribs by going to this restaurant in South Jersey. I ordered the ribs and what I got was some sort of hard baked not grilled ribs. I immediately asked the server to get the manager. And he explained that they had a new cook who prepared the ribs the old way and not the new way. He replaced the ribs after a wait with the ribs prepared the way I had been wanting. I also ordered fried vegetable rice without soy sauce and salt. They were very accommodating. And I had the spicy cauliflower. That was deliciously prepared. The hostess and waitress were very nice and the manager took care of my issue right away. The place was huge. The bathrooms were clean and nice too. This is a very nice Asian bistro style restaurant. The Decor was both original & incredibly detailed too. And all of their Asian dishes I had were amazing! I have been to P.F Chang's many times and I always have a great experience. My favorite dish is the Ahi Tartare with Avocado. It is filled with flavor and has a lemon after taste that is refreshing. There has been a few times where the service is not always fast which can be frustrating. The service is just terrible they have one man at the bar that has to make drinks for the whole dinning room and his large bar and his high top tables. Come on that is just ridiculous. Our server was polite and attentive, but at times it did take her longer to get back to our table during such a busy time. We ordered edamame and ribs to start which were delicious and then orange chicken and the shrimp with lobster sauce both of which we enjoyed. I always get confused by P.F. Chang's though. Also we had the opportunity to also talk to the back waiter john he was also great, very friendly and seemed to take pride in his job.
