Just OK PF Chang's gets an appropriate rating here by other reviewers, this is like a fusion place gone wrong. The worst part of the dining experience is the SALT! Good thing the PBR`s are cheap, cause man are you going to get thirsty. On the "real chopsticks" front, they always feel greasy to me so I ask for the disposable type. Or use a fork, why not? it's not actually Chinese food. Once in a while, it's ok. read more

I went here with my fiancée and I ordered Mongolian beef and she ordered the kung pao shrimp, the food was excellent and the waiter Dylan was great and helpful. Also we had the opportunity to also talk to the back waiter john he was also great, very friendly and seemed to take pride in his job. Hopefully the manager recognizes him with a bonus of some sort because he definitely deserves it. read more

P.F. Chang's used to be my go-to for American Chinese food, and was a place that I raved about. I feel like the quality/service has gone downhill a bit (ESPECIALLY the service 3/4 times I came most recently), but my most recent time there bumped my review up to 3 stars versus two. My most recent trip there was for a crazy (read: $86) happy hour - we were very hungry. We sat at the bar, which I almost feel like is a safer bet, because the service at the tables is very iffy; I've had excellent service, and then there are times when I have sat for thirty minutes in between courses, waiting to find my ghost of a server. PF Chang's has a pretty solid happy hour with great drink specials (we went for the $3.25 Tsingtao, though they do have cocktail specials as well from $4-$6), and the significantly lower-priced apps. We ordered: the vegetable dumplings (which neither of us liked - they were not cooked very well, and just had a weird taste to them), the crab wontons (which were very good - we ended up getting two orders of them), dynamite shrimp, which was good (a little bit too much of the sauce for my taste, but friend loved them), spring rolls (good - a little greasy, but no more so than if you were to order Chinese takeout), and the Ahi crisp (SO refreshing and yummy - though if you give me avocado, I'm set!). On other occasions, we've had the Hunan-style hot fish, which is absolutely delicious, the stir-fried eggplant, which is another awesome dish, as well as veggie lo-mein, which you really can't go wrong with. The food is usually pretty okay, but overall, it's not a place that I'm dying to go to all the time. I was pleased with their happy hour and think they offer good deals, and good service, since the bartenders were very quick to refill drink orders and take food orders, even when it got more packed. read more

This place needs a good cleaning. Shoes stick to the floors and tables are not properly wiped down. Sticky! Service is way too slow. Not what is used to be. Food is hit or miss. read more

I'll admit it, I'm not an expert on Asian Fusion cuisine. After my first visit to PF Changs, I really wasn't impressed with our choices. However, our second trip has me saying, "Yum, I would order that again!" PF Changs is a large, rather noisy restaurant. Pretty Chinese lanterns hang from the ceiling in the dining area. Both times we were seated near the kitchen so it was noisy. Nothing romantic about this place at all. Our server was adorable, attentive, made excellent suggestions about entrees/dishes that were all spot on so I can't jump on the bandwagon bad mouthing PF Changs for bad service. Appetizers: Ahi seared tuna. Delicious. And the field greens that accompanied it was dressed in a delicious vinagrette. Pork dumplings: Lovely, with a tender (not thick or rubbery) wonton-type wrapper. Light and flavorful. Dipping sauce was a little bland. Entrees: I'm a big fan of the mongolian beef. The flank steak was perfectly marinated in soy/ginger/garlic/brown sugar. Tender, crave worthy. My husband ordered the moo shu pork: again, fabulous. Freshly wok'd veggies, mushrooms, egg, pork served with 4 delicate pancakes and an awesome hoisin sauce. Loved this. (On our previous visit, the chicken with black beans was boring/bland. Avoid this entree) We ordered a small side of Snap Peas ($2.95). Buttery/garlicky cooked perfectly......bright green, nice crunch. Yum!! Dessert: Banana spring rolls served with a vanilla/caramel sauce and the most fabulous pineapple-cocount ice cream I ever have tasted in my life. Best dessert I have had in awhile. Free soda refills and if you go for happy hour you can redeem a Yelp check in for a free dim sum. read more

Do not order the pepper and salted prawns. It had so much salt that it was not edible. I can't even believe the served food that could not be eaten. Other than that the food was ok, nothing to write home about. Not worth the $ to say the least. read more

Not sure why I thought pad Thai would be a good idea here but got it anyway...bad news bears. Almost had a throw up aftertaste and pretty bland. The rest of my party had sushi, again not sure why but they were not happy either. Their only saving grace was Akil our server. He was amazing! Checked in on us several times, joined in on our convo and was just overall a fantastic server, don't lose him. read more

I have been to this PF Changs once but have been to several others more than numerous times. The food and service are always top notch. One of my Asian friends is insulted by this place and says it's like the Macaroni Grill of Italian food...I guess he may have a good case but WHATEVER(I am Italian)! Food: Go with the Spicy Chicken (General Tso's but much better), Mongolian Beefm, Fried Wontons and pay extra for the fried rice, it's worth it! To end your meal, go with the Banana Springrolls...superb! The wait is usually long on the weekens so go early, chill out the bar and get set for a great meal. read more

The only reason to eat here is if there are no other options. The service is average, the food is just 'ok' and the atmosphere is, meh. We celebrated a birthday here and tho we enjoyed each other's company, it could have been so much better with adequate food & service. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Currently dining here as I write this. A guest informed the server that they do not eat meat, the server brought out pork dumplings when the person ordered shrimp dumplings. The server and manager did not even offer to take it off the bill for the complete screw up. There are multiple ethnicities and beliefs that people do not eat meat and especially pork, that a restaurant running in 2021 should recognize. read more

The hostess was rude. Waited too long for food that was barely edible. People that left while we were seated their tables stood dirty. Short staffed??? No. The hostess sat at a table looking at pictures with a group of people while people waited to be seated. Yes you needed reservations but more then 2/3 of the restaurant was empty. The wait staff walked around and stepped on soda soaked towels over and over again. They will gather plates on a server but not take them to the kitchen. Very confusing!! Wish we read the reviews before deciding to come here. I've been to other locations and NEVER had this experience. Why did so you close Ridgehill?? This location needs to be shut down!! BEYOND DISGUSTING!!! read more

I have been to this location 4 times, I've never had a bad experience, the food is delicious and the drinks? Out of this world. Btw, everyone must try the Black Tea Gimlet, wether you're a vodka lover or not. The wait to eat here specially on a Saturday night is ridiculous. Last night we waited for 1hr and a half to get a table for 2. Customer service is great, our waitress last night was nice but a little off, also took long to bring our food. read more

I don't think I've ever written a bad review on Yelp, but this location deserves one for its ludicrous seating policy. We used to come here frequently for Happy Hour and/or dinner, but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon, if ever. Aside from the fact that the bar has gone way downhill and the food is inconsistent, they never want to seat you at a good table. The last few times we went there, they sat us at such terrible tables, it was straight-up insulting. We dress decently and we tip well--generally 20% on the after-tax bill. Yet, they always put us at a wobbly table next to the kitchen and/or the bathrooms. I made a reservation last time we dined there. The place wasn't even half full. As we were being taken to a tiny, shaky table next to the kitchen door and restrooms, we noticed a booth against the wall. My husband asked if we could be seated there, the hostess said no because it was a table for 4 and we were only 2. He complained about the smallness of our table and asked to be moved to a larger one. Let me point out again that the place wasn't even half full. It was a Sunday night after 7:00, and the mall was closed due to Bergen County Blue Laws. We were taken to a larger wobbly table next to the other kitchen door. I wish we had walked out. The food and drinks were nothing to write home about, and we were aggravated to see a couple--yes, a party of 2-seated at the booth that we requested when we walked in. I noticed that we are not the only customers who have mentioned on Yelp that they were seated at lousy tables. We get that when the restaurant is busy, all tables will be filled, even the less desirable ones. But it's happened to us nearly every time we've gone there whether or not they are busy. I should point out that we have often eaten at the bar, but ever since they took the Mai-Tai off the Happy Hour menu and hired bartenders who pour only thimble-sized shots into the drinks, we don't bother eating and drinking there. The past couple visits, the place was not busy or anywhere close to full, and I think their stupid seating policies have something to do with that. The tables are poorly laid out, but there is no excuse to put people at a table next to the kitchen door and restroom when there are plenty of decent tables empty. And if customers ask for a specific table and it's not meant for 8 people when they're only 2, their request should be granted. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? ETA: After our last visit, I sent an Email to P.F. Chang's Guest Services explaining why we are now former customers. I got an auto response thanking me for contacting them and that someone would be in touch, but I heard nothing else. So I post a one-star review here and what happens? I get the same Email address asking me to write them. Been there, done that. Obviously, this Chang's location doesn't care about their guests' opinions. read more

My favorite Chinese. Great atmosphere, service ambiance and food. Highly recommend this location.

My brother, my dad, and I went to this PF Chang's, expecting to have a nice and delicious dinner. But, when we went there, immediately, there were problems. It started when the waiter gave us the wrong order and later charged us for it. After this, our waiter, once again, made another mistake with our order, and then, when the time came to get the check, this waiter gave us a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ORDER AS OUR RECEIPT. Also, other than the service, the steak that I ordered was full of fat and dry. I had requested medium, but I received well-done instead. We came into the restaurant 1 hour before Happy Hour ended, but this waiter charged us the full price of the happy hour items. This was insane. He just thought he could get away with charging us for the full amount. There were numerous mistakes in the bill, forcing the waiter to go back to the register 3 times, each time taking 10 minutes or longer, which is extremely unprofessional. I'm disappointed that this restaurant has taken such a dive in service and quality after all these years. We will not be coming back. I hope this restaurant climbs back up in the near future. But, as long as this plunge continues, you will not be seeing me or my family at any of your restaurants. read more

It was my 1st time at this location. The area is always packed and parking is rough. Our server was very nice. The drinks and apps were out pretty fast but we waited a little bit for the entrees. It was a Friday night so it is to be expected. We had pork eggrolls, fried pork dumplings, pork fried rice, kung pao chicken, and the long life noodles w shrimp. The eggrolls were ok, they come w sweet and sour sauce which I dont think really goes. It is heavy on the mustard taste. The dumplings are great but they are gone in 2 seconds. Growing up in NYC Chinatown where I can get 5 dumplings for $1, it pains me to pay $10 for 6. I did it today to try them but I'm good now. The entrees were all good. The Kung Pao was on point, the fried rice was spot on. The long life noodles were mushy so I wouldnt get that again, but the shrimp they came with were large and tasty. My only negative was that I ordered a side of fried rice for the baby. The waitress knew this. I asked if it came with a protein. She said no but we can add it. I said um ok. She said you want egg and veggies too? I said umk, thinking yes isnt that was fried rice is. Well I get the bill and she banged us for a entree portion fried rice. Its was double the price of the side I wanted that was for the baby. Its not the end of the world but she being the server should enlighten me. Other than that, she was very friendly and attentive. The place is solid. Not sure why their rating is so average. PF Chang - In! read more

PF changs in Annapolis, great food, Tyler is by far the BEST bartender/server ever!!

My worst experience ever with P.F. Chang's. The take out service was backed up for over an hour. I ordered dinner at 615 pm and requested that the take out be ready by 645pm. I reached late at 730pm and the food was no where close to being ready. I finally got my dinner at 815pm. When asked I was told "it's been this way for the last week or so".. no apologies what so ever. The staff had no time to attend to the waiting customers . Over 7-8 were queue waiting for food for over 30 mins.. Ok - Can we expect the food to good... no ! Wasn't my day and the Thai coconut curry that I ordered was horrible ...... zero ratings overall. One star is generous, and I'm only allowing for one star because there isn't an option for no stars. My family just left this location. We arrived around 6:30pm. It wasn't busy, and we were seated furthest from the door, and in a relatively empty restaurant? Right on top of another couple. Our server, Emily, came to ask right away if we knew what we'd like to drink - though we just sat down... I thought, ok, good sign. We ordered our drinks, and since my daughters were hungry - we asked if we could just order our meal. We were told of course, so we did that. Appetizers (two of the five of us ordered - one soup and one shrimp dish) came 20 minutes from the order time... and the rest of the food (two entrees for two adults, sushi rolls for my daughters) still hadn't shown up by the time we'd been waiting for 45 minutes. I finally got up to go find the hostess, as I couldn't seem to get anyone else to pay attention to our table and our server was very busy with other tables. I came back to find that the manager had finally stopped by the table to "see how everything was". We waited another 10 minutes after that for the food to show up- and they'd forgotten my dinner, which was an order of Brussels sprouts. After another 10 minutes, we still didn't have them, and I finally saw my server and told her to please have them taken off the bill. That I'd lost my appetite at this point, after waiting for roughly an hour. She came back over a few minutes later saying "they actually just came out...". With them in her hand. I said "no thank you. ". I was kind of furious that my 7 year old had already waited so long to eat, and I wanted to leave before I saw that manager again. Sure enough the bill shows up, the manager came over to see how everything tasted. I had to stand up and walk out to my car saying to her, "I'm going to let my husband explain to you how everything was." She apparently said that I had sent back my meal (after waiting for an hour, I wasn't about to indulge any of that.), and that she was offering up her "humblest apologies" as the kitchen was really behind. She was quite determined to point out that they had taken the Brussels sprouts (*my dinner) off of the bill. Are you kidding me? The restaurant was MAYBE 25% full when we arrived. Unacceptable service, somewhat acceptable food... I *guess*... I personally wouldn't know, but my kids said it was "Fine.", and the manager blames the customer for being frustrated when the only food they ordered doesn't show up for an hour. I wouldn't return to this location if you paid me. ... and I *never* write reviews like this. read more

What is this? A PF Chang's? I came here with my mother because we were around the area after driving from upstate NY. There are so many options to eat around here but my mother only eats Chinese food. She is such a picky eater. I know she didn't get it from me! It's weird! Not like webbed toes weird. It's a bad joke. A white guy serving my mother and I Chinese food made by a Mexican guy in the back. It's always been the other way around. The Mexican guy is still the back though. My mom of course loved it. She didn't have to cook and enjoy decent Chinese food. All be it over priced and over salted. I'd come back here again. I know my gf likes Chinese food too. read more

P.F. Chang's - Orange Shrimp lunch special - Chinese Near Me - Hackensack, New Jersey

I'm Asian and I like their food. It's not always consistent (could be too salty sometimes) but I know that I'll be full at the end of lunch or dinner. I've been craving for bibimbap and I just had it today for lunch special in celebration of Women's Day. No connection to the food, just a pressure-free lunch. But they came in quick with my order, the waitress is nice and pleasant (switched the chicken to shrimp because it's Friday of Lent). Unfortunately, the $2.50 small hot and sour soup wasn't worth it. I usually like the crab Rangoon (2 pieces for $2.50) but today, it was a little burnt. read more

I frequent PF Chang's at Riverside Sq Hackensack NJ but never during the hours of 3:30-5:00pm. On Feb 12 I was there ...my checkout bill shows table 16/1 at 4:31pm. Diners BEWARE - steer clear of the entree "SPICY MISO RAMEN with SHRIMP/CHICKEN or PORK". The ramen is EXTREMELY gooey. I eat ramen all the time and on many occasions at PF Chang's Hackensack, but never in my lifetime have I tasted gooey ramen. In addition, it takes a while for the cocktails and entrees to be served. The restaurant was not packed; the bar tender was present and I trust there was a chef present in the kitchen as well. But what type of CHEF was present leaves to one's imagination! Gooey ramen? Even a student can cook ramen that is not gooey. My ramen at PF Chang's Hackensack on Feb 12 ramen was a TOTAL DISASTER ... enough for me to reconsider going back to PF Chang's. I had spoken with the manager on site. I do not know her name because she does not wear a name tag ... she did not care to let me know what her name was .... All she did was offered the usual 'lip service'; her customer service is tasteless just like the gooey ramen. Food for thought! read more

We loved PF Chang when we were in dubai many years ago so naturally we wanted to try in the country of its origin. But alas the PF Chang here is very bad. Firstly the white rice, which is the most basic item in any Asian restaurant is stale and we can see that it is of poor quality. The dynamite shrimp and kung pao shrimp are nothing to write home about. The shrimp itself also smaller than what you would see in Dubai. The Mongolian beef and honey crispy chicken are so forgettable. I think you go to any other Chinese restaurant, you will get better American Chinese food. read more

Wow what can I say, this establishment is not cut out for take out/pick up. On April 17, 2020 this place was in complete shambles trying to get everyone there Order outside, you had two poor guys running back and forth like chickens with no heads trying to figure who's order is who's and running around the parking lot looking for people in there cars only to come back with the orders inside. I have never seen such a business run this poorly. I just had to leave after 1.5 hours for my food when it was promised much prior to that. Let me start by saying I understand in these times everything is scattered and everyone is learning how to maneuver safely. But for a restaurant of this caliber to run what should be a simple curbside pickup so poorly confuses me. We ordered on April 25 at 5:45pm. Our order confirmation said it would be ready at 7:20pm. We thought this was a long time but figured giving the times we're living in it was understandable. We arrived at 7:15 and noticed the parking lot almost full, a line of cars in front of the restaurant and 20+ people standing around by the takeout door. My husband went to the employee with the clipboard outside and inquired about our order. He took our last name and model and color of our car and asked my husband to wait in his car and it would be brought to him. We stood by our car in the parking lot til 8:30pm and then I went to the employee with the clipboard to ask again about our food. He told me it would be brought to the car and confirmed my model and color along with my name. I went back to the car. At 9:20 we notice there were less cars in the lot and only about 4 people waiting by the door. My husband went to go ask again about our order and after about 10 minutes it finally came out. We were the last people waiting at that point. We got the food home only to have to reheat the chicken because it was cold. Just to note...we live 3.6 miles from the restaurant so our food should not have been cold when we got home. We also asked for white rice with both entrees. One came with white rice that was easily 2-3 days old and the other came with fried rice. Long story short... we ordered at 5:45pm and arrived at the estimated pickup time of 7:20pm and didn't get our order til 9:30pm. This is not acceptable. We were told at the door that the orders were cooked at the time they were received. So I guess the restaurant was backed up by 4 hours? That's hard to believe when you have less to do inside since there are no customers inside. Lastly....the employees may want to learn how to crowd control a little better. Making people wait HOURS for their food outside just turned some customers into buttholes. One man standing as close as he could get to the door refused to wait by his car or even a few feet down the sidewalk because he said he'd stand where ever he wanted and asked why he should move. Very few people were observing the 6 foot rule we have now too because they were all agitated at waiting hours upon hours for food. We will not be returning to PF Changs even after this pandemic is over and won't recommend any friends go either. The food is only sometimes slightly better than I can get at any asian takeaway restaurant and costs 2-3 times more for half the amount of food. read more
