Fast Chinese restaurants typically get a bad rap, so I'm here to give credit where credit is due. It's not often that a fast Chinese takeout restaurant really blows you away, but this time it hit the spot. Ordered off Postmates and got chicken & garlic with plain fried rice, chicken and broccoli with substituted shrimp lo Mein for the missus and they each came with a spring roll. Now let's start with the spring roll because usually this is like a whatever, somewhat throwaway item, but man I don't know what they did here but it was GOOD. Like really good that I'm thinking these are home made. I'm talking nice and crispy on the outside, not overcooked at all, so it was soft and tasty on the inside. The chicken and broccoli.. chicken was super soft and the broccoli had a nice crunchy bite to it. The chicken and garlic sauce I got regular spicy but didn't seem too spicy at all, but also really good with the plain fried rice. Really great flavors all around. One thing to note is that it is slightly on the saltier side than some other take out places, but I still really enjoyed it. I will be ordering the chicken and garlic sauce again. The environment looks very clean and the service is very friendly and quick. Sadly, that's the end of it. I splurged, figuring how bad could it be, so I got a small beef and shrimp lo mein, a small beef with broccoli, a small wonton soup, and a shrimp roll. The main dishes had weird off ingredients in it, the wonton soup broth tasted basically like powdered chicken broth where you accidentally put in too much powder, and the shrimp roll was mediocre at best. So far the shrimp roll was really the only thing that was reasonably edible. I hate to waste food, and I tend to eat like a pig, but this is rough to get through. I wish I could have given a nicer review, they do seem like very nice people, but this is a struggle to eat. I hate to say it, but avoid. read more

Ordered for the first time for delivery Today. Guy answering phone not friendly. All of our dishes were overly greasy. Fried rice had two cubes of carrot and no other vegetables or egg. Just bland grease. Gummy dumplings came with a strangely flavorless dipping sauce. Chicken came in a styrofoam clam that was half full of rice at the price of a full entree. I compare them to dumpling which is right across the street and I would say Beijing Chinese restaurant is better as far as the chicken and broccoli with white rice goals. Just ordered delivery, I live 6 minutes away in Lodi NJ and it took an hour and 25 minutes to show up. Food was luke warm, fried chicken wings were soggy not crispy. Steamed dumplings are very doughy, they over charge for there items and charge a delivery fee. The only thing we ordered that was decent was the sesame chicken and fried wontons. The mini spring rolls are sweet flavored pork meat..dont understand why alot of other reviewers on here liked them. I wouldn't reccomend this place, try garfield china house instead..they have better chinese and also have american, italian and mexican food. Throughout my life, I looked for authentic good Chinese food. I am from Florida, a hotbed for food not so much of the Chinese variety, but for Latin and Caribbean flavors that over time have dulled my palate. I decided to come back to New Jersey one day to visit my friend performing her medical rotations here. After having a craving for some Chinese food, we stumbled on this little place and decided to try it out. We were blown away... To detemine whether a Chinese restaurant is good or not, I usually stick with my big three: egg drop soup, beef lo mein, with spring rolls. It did not disappoint. The soup had the perfect consistency that you expect from egg drop soup with a complex flavor and aroma that I haven't smelled in a long time. The beef lo mein was very rich in flavor and made me tempted to order a second serving. But the spring rolls took the cake with the perfect crispy shell. I was under the impression that most Chinese restaurants typically order the skin to spring rolls, this one seemed fresh and handmade. My friend and I had a great experience, service was quick and prompt. The woman server who served me was very friendly and had a smile I don't typically see with workers in a Chinese restaurant. I noticed that the upkeep of this restaurant, while quaint and cozy, is also far superior to any other Chinese restaurant I've been to. The kitchen is open for those who are unsure whether they're using sanitary practices, and trust me guys, they do. My friend and I instantly fell in love with this place, and while she is lucky enough to be able to order here whenever her heart is content, I long for the day where I'll come back here again and try out the rest of their menu. Ive ordered here in the past, and it had been a while. I'm not sure if there was an ownership change, but the food didn't seem fresh to me. The fried rice is just plain yellow rice with nothing in it. It's definitely not Chinese fried rice. Last time I checked fried rice is supposed to be more brownish and has many ingredients including pork, chicken etc. I do remember a time when Chinese restaurants actually gave this in their entree combinations. The food was blah. I'll be trying out another take out place to see if I find anything descent or I'll have to begin making my own Chinese takeout! read more

Food wise this place is good but it dosen't do much to stand out from other spots in town.One thing that does make this place stand out is the interior. It is quite spacious, clean, and has many booths to sit and relax. Other Chinese places in town are kind of cramped. Me and my friends would sit down for dinner here in high school. Not a bad place to eat in. Some items I like to order from here are French fries, general tso's chicken, and their egg drop soup. I gotta say its a pretty good New York style chinese good: fast, fresh and tasty. It has become a must-go to fast takeout Chinese restaurant whenever I stayed at Hilton hotel as it's relatively close by and they have friendly staffs. Both co-worker and I enjoyed their food during our stays. (Oh, believe us, we tried a couple other chinese restaurants nearby too, but stayed with this for our ENTIRE stay). I don't have any complaints at all about this place as the mini egg rolls are really cheap and filled with yummy awesomeness!!! Generous amount of food with very reasonable price. Another bonus is that it's open-kitchen, which is awesome because I get to see how they prepare and cook my food. And believe me they are clean since they are willing to SHOW!!!!!!! The front desk lady has excellent English and she's super nice and patient so I had no problem with my order even though I'm a picky eater xD. When I do go back again for conference or anything, I will definitely order again. So my fair review is: good American Chinese takeout restaurant! Ps. It's a nice dine-in place too which is rare for a takeout restaurants, lol we actually can relax and chit-chat with AC while waiting for our food. I would give their food a four stars because there is always room for improvement but I wanna give it a five star simply because everyone there remembered our order during our business trip in NJ. I decided to try a new place and see what happens I read the reviews and I chose Beijing and it was bad. I ordered boneless spare ribs pork fried rice and wonton soup everything was dry acept the soup. The fried rice was YELLOW??? The boneless spare ribs were dry but the wonton soup was good. I would never order from here again the waite time was fine but the food was garbage. Since I work a lot i order out a lot and since WO-HOP is in NYC and they dont deliver im stuck with the same few places. I must say Chans-Wok in Lodi is still the best I have come across but my search continues. read more

Without no doubt I would say this is the best Chinese food restaurant in County area.. we had 3 rice dishes, chicken with broccoli , shrimp fried rice and General Tso's Chicken along, all 3 items are excellent, with lots of flavour and less oil. The portions are huge 1 rice plate would be enough for 2 people if you are a moderate eater.. highly recommend this place for anybody who loves Chinese food. read more

For a local chinese restaurant, the quality of food is very fresh and tasty. House special fried rice has ample shrimp, chicken and pork. The hot and sour soup has the right amount of tofu and chinese mushrooms. The beef and chicken are lean too. And the mini spring rolls are excellent. As far as delivery - they have always delivered in less than the time communicated. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for good quality chinese takeout food and good service. read more

This is a good quality take out/delivery Chinese restaurant. Delivery is quick and the food is always fresh. It looks like they have a constant churn of orders throughout the day. I was very disappointed about this place always order form this place every weekend for my family and I always choose to come to this place to pick up because their didn't deliver very fast even I live very close from them, last time i drive to their parking lot and go in to pick my food, when I walk to the hall way, I saw the employee entrance was open and I just very wonder how their making their food, I just take while look. I was vey shock. I couldn't believe what I saw, I saw the chef sneeze with both hand without wash his hand when he was doing the raw meat work. The very awful things is I saw the other employee who wear the hat (like the boss) pick two little dead rat (mouse) from the cooking area and throw them to the garbage and without wash his hand. Then he continue to do his work. I was very disappointed and go to the front counter and talk to the lady to complain what their doing in the kitchen. But the lady refuse to answer my question. I was very mad. So I cancel my order and I'll let them know I will never come back. Because they are not responsible for what they're doing inside. I want everyone to know that the place is very dirty and dusty. You have the responsibility to all your customer to be healthy not sick.
