Wow. I was really surprised to find this place. I'm a Ho Mei junkie (Hasbrouck Heights) when it comes to take-out. If I want decent sit down, then it's off to Lotus Cafe. Now this is all admitted under the pretense that I can't make it out to Flushing. But for American-Chinese, Cathay Coast does a great job. I'm sure they get tons of business from all of the apartment complexes and having tons of parking on a busy street. They work fast and put out good food. I've been here several times already and haven't had a gripe. I shall make my recommendations below: Sauteed Broccoli Roast Pork Egg Foo Young Roast Pork Lo Mein Chicken w/ Broccoli I'm sure I'll work out some more time to try more items so keep an eye out on the quick tips. Me Chinese, me play joke...

Chicken wings and pork fried rice.

The food used to be good here. Past few times that I went the food tastes bland. There was no flavor. Very disappointed

I'd say this is an average Chinese take out joint. Nothing special, but everything okay.

RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Dined in on a Friday evening from 5:45 - 7:00 and it was BUSY. Come early or else you'll have to wait for a table. CONCLUSION -------------------- = We've done takeout quite a few times from Pho Saigon and the results were mixed in the past, but, during our dine-in experience, everything was fantastic - didn't hurt that it was a double brick cold day and the pho was nice and warm!

It wasn't until the 17th century that this meal became a more common practice, especially among the wealthy, who would have rich dishes like scrambled eggs alongside coffee and tea in the morning. The Garden State is still known as the diner capital of the world. Located off Essex Street in Hackensack, this establishment is one of the handful of 24-hour diners. With its unique harlequin decor, Chit Chat remains a chic, upscale diner that we frequent often with friends and family. Upon arrival this morning, my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff at the host station, and we were able to get a table quickly. The menu was extensive, and we took our time looking but did not feel rushed. Their menu includes a lot of things one may not find on a regular menu. We decided on their brunch menu and ordered Raspberry & Brie Stuffed French Toast, Santorini Benedict, Bro-Nana Cocoa-Nuts Multigrain Pancakes, and Chorizo Hash & Eggs with a choice of a complimentary mimosa, bloody Mary, or Bellini. The food is always fresh and tastes delicious. The portion is healthy and the prices reasonable. The service is consistently fast and friendly. Our server was Ashley. Today, breakfast isn't just about nutrition; it's a cultural ritual.

Instead, I found a clean, efficient dim sum spot with surprisingly good food. The self-service concept worked really well. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and there is no tipping. I actually like this system because at traditional dim sum restaurants you often spend more time waiting for carts or servers than eating. One thing that really impressed me was the cleanliness. The restaurant isn't newly renovated, but it's well maintained. After each table left, the staff cleaned with fresh sanitizing wipes instead of using the same cloth over and over. They also serve everything with disposable plates and utensils, which personally gives me more confidence than reusable tableware that isn't always cleaned thoroughly. The food was consistently good. The lotus leaf sticky rice was fragrant, the rice noodle roll with fried dough had a great texture, and the Teochew dumplings were generously filled. The standout dish was the stuffed trio. The shrimp paste was fresh and springy, the fried tofu was crispy, and getting eggplant, tofu, and green pepper on one plate made it easy to try a little of everything.

Waiters were quick to seat us and offer hot tea. We arrived at noon for dim sum on a Friday and they had the push carts circling the dining room. But it was very slow to arrive at our table that we had no choice but to order food off the menu even though we requested the dim sum cart after receiving the tea. Food was hot and tasted good. Kids wanted rice rolls which were not on the cart so we had to order from the kitchen which mean it came out after a bit more waiting. If you're looking to satisfy your dim sum craving this place is great. They also have large tables for big groups. And they take reservations.
