I have ordered beef and broccoli from PF Chang a few times, but when I get it delivered it is so dry that I have had beef jerky with more moisture. Much of it is crunchy because it is either overcooked or left sitting under a heat lamp far too long. The noodles were so dry that I actually choked on the first bite. Our New York experience has been great and I posted a great review on our Arlington experience a couple of years ago. However, this time, every item was bad. They were bland, distasteful, and not good! Period!!! Service was not great either as they were more focused on closing up than serving the customers (we were there at 8:50 and closing time is 10:00 pm). OMG - WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THEIR MENU?!?! The veggie lettuce wraps are HORRIBLE and inedible with battered and fried tofu ($15.29)??? Same with the Buddha's Feast - battered tofu, very undercooked veggies and enormous pieces of essentially raw broccoli ($16.29). It was also tasteless...absolutely zero flavor. My friend had the Kung Pao Chicken and it was okay, but nothing stellar ($19.29!!!). For the price, it was comedy of the absurd. And, what happened to the servers mixing your special sauce at the table to your desired heat level? Now, they just bring the 3 separate sauces, with no empty ramekin to make your own even??? We tried this place recently with a group of 6 and it was ok. Our waitress told us about a dinner special they were running with a starter, rice and entree. The entree portions are smaller than their regular portions, which was fine for us. The Chang's chicken and sesame chicken were good. The salmon was ok. The food was good, but the service was not great. The waitress didn't clear any plates from the first course of the dinner special/appetizers. Drinks weren't refilled. We had to ask another employee for refills. When my wife took my daughter to the bathroom, our waitress was by the front, on her phone. Not the best experience. read more

I've been going to PF Changs for years and absolutely one of my favorites. In the past two years the food quality has plummeted. My favorite appetizer, steamed shrimp dumplings, I must say is maybe a 1 star now. Definitely microwaved not steamed. And absolutely not freshly made, I'm guessing frozen then microwaved. This place redefines the word 'apathy'. I'm fortunate to have Wonder Wife able to travel with me on a business trip, and we decided to come here for dinner. What a mistake. Service was okay, and we ordered the dinner for two. We each ordered egg drop soup, got the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer and then ordered entrees. The first thing we were brought were our drinks. I had ordered a Diet Coke which was basically just the soda water and very little syrup. So, I sent that back and got iced tea. The chicken lettuce wraps came and the chicken was mushy and had a fraction of the sauce it normally has. So, we set that aside and here comes the egg drop soup which had the consistency and texture of the kind of snot produced by a serious sinus infection. It had big globs of gelatinous goo and when I dug up an egg, it was grey with a very dark grey center. At this point, I asked for the manager and showed him everything, including the rotten-looking egg. He couldn't have cared less. I mean, it's not like he rolled his eyes or said anything snarky; he just didn't react at all. He gave me a perfunctory, "Sorry." and then half-heartedly offered me a gift card, which must be corporate policy because there's no way he cared enough to try and make us happy. We had a great lunch at PF Changs recently. We were there soon after they opened and got seated right away. Our Waitress was great and always had refills coming and our food came out quickly. She cleared the table of empty plates. Very clean and big dining area. Restrooms were clean and spacious. Nice bar area. Hostess was attentive and greeted us as we entered. construction going on in parking lot so the parking was a little hard to find but overall great time. read more

We've been going to PF Changs at Northpark for years for a quick lunch before shopping or running errands. Our lunch experience yesterday was very memorable but not in a good way. We walked in at 11am and sat at the bar. The bartender greeted us but did not introduce herself and got our drink order then walked away. She did not offer any suggestions or go over the lunch specials. The iced tea had little to no ice and I had to walk to the other end of the bar to get straws. After a while, she decided to take our order. No enthusiasm, just a simply stated "ok" as she walked away. Our appetizer came out and rather than bother her, while she was cutting fruit, for appetizer plates, we ate our lettuce wraps over the plate they were served on. Our lunch order was delivered by someone who was less than friendly when we asked for an extra plate as she seemed bothered by the request. After finishing our appetizer and entree, the bartender finally asked how everything was. It's not that she was busy with customers, she was busy with her back turned to everyone to cut fruit. Our drinks were never refilled. There were more staff than customers during our lunch. We saw several employees eating bowls of rice in the full view of the bar customers and on the expo line. As we were about to leave, two more guests came in and when they asked the bartender how she was, she responded with "I'm here." We paid our tab and were never given the receipt back. This was a disappointing lunch and was our last visit to the North Park location. read more

The food is always good here. It is my go to when at North Park Mall. For lunch they have a $13.99 lunch special of an entree and a starter. I LOVE their hot and sour soup and their sesame chicken. I ask them to add red ginger that is so amazing and I do not see it many places. Try it, you will love it. I pay extra for lo mein noodles instead of rice. I ask them to cook my vegetables so they are not raw but, not mushy. Al Dente. They are always perfect. I usually take half of my lunch home. Great service. Great ambience. Came for dinner and sure glad we did. We've now gone twice the past 2 months. Several standouts-food and service. Food-we love includes the crab wontons, hot and sour soup, beef broccoli and spicy chicken. Wontons and their sauce are fantastic- better than many other local places. For soup, you only need to order the cup as it's very big. Not your typical small size. And very flavorful. The beef and broccoli is just the perfect mix of beef and veggie plus the broccoli is still crispy which we like. No limp broccoli here! The spicy chicken is our newest surprise as it is a delightful level of spicy. And you get a lot of chicken. We tried the egg rolls and while they are fine, just seemed a bit skimpy on filling. Service very attentive and friendly both times here. Oddest thing is how not busy this place is. Can't figure that one out. Prices are similar to other Asian places and similar dining. So not sure why it's not been busy both times we've been here. read more

Don't get me wrong, I've LOVED P.F. Chang's ever since I was a server at one way back in 2006. Even despite many menu changes & their getting rid of a lot of my menu favorites (moo goo gai pan, cantonese shrimp,...) I always enjoy the food, from every location I've tried. My qualm is for a lack of common sense sort of situation regarding my recent catering order. I called several days ago to order an entire Great Wall of Chocolate cake for my friend's birthday. At around $120, it's not exactly cheap but it's my friend's favorite and I wanted to surprise her. When I picked it up today they handed me this big box (wider than I expected but I figured the extra space was being taken up by the containers of berries & raspberry sauce that typically adorn this cake.) Come to find out, they'd pre-sliced the whole cake and laid the slices on their side in foil serving pans! I mean, I've ordered a lot of cakes in my life, never once was one of them dismembered prior to my even picking it up. So now I'm going to have to somehow lift these individual slices out and try to arrange them back to hopefully resemble a whole cake, in order to do the candles/singing happy birthday thing. What's going on P.f. Chang's? We have a history of loving the food and service of the chain, but today was a disappointment. Service was slow even though the place was empty on a weekday lunch, floors were sticky (!?), it took 15 mins for my hubby to get his sangria from the bar and I never got my unsweet tea or the side soup I had ordered with my lunch. The one good thing was the lettuce wraps and the trio sauce we requested, which they'll still do for you if you request it, however it used to be served with crispy iceberg lettuce rounds which were replaced by romaine strips that look less than fresh. Food took awhile, then I got the wrong dish. I specifically spoke with the server about wanting the crispy honey chicken-which he recommended-but I was served the orange chicken that had a weird flavor, like sour fake orange. I always used to get the lo mein as my side, with the green onions and mushrooms, etc, but I guess now what you get is just an oversized pile of soy sauce and ketchup tasting plain pink lo mein. Wow. The server did apologize at the end about our missing items, but by that point we just wanted to leave. I'll give P.f. Chang's another chance, but I won't be going back to this location. It is not the same as it used to be. - restaurant was over half empty at Noon on a Sunday, which says a lot - bar area was filthy - had food residue all over and hadn't been cleaned - water glass was so filthy the water looked cloudy - was not greeted or even asked what I'd like to drink - bartender just said "you ready?" - when I got my food, runner dropped it off and no one offered me a plate or silverware or napkins to eat with? I sat there while my food got cold because I had not been given anything to eat it with...finally had to ask for a manager and explained customers shouldn't have to ask just to be given silverware! As far as taste of food, it tasted like a mystery meat chicken. Not a lot of flavor and quality seemed worse than Panda Express. I used to love eating at PF Chang's, but looking closely at how filthy it is and the total lack of basic service, I will NOT be going back ever. read more

I came to PF chains on a Thursday night. I was able to be seated right away. The server was very intense. If he came right away to take our orders, recommend some great food. I got the Singapore street noodles with shrimp and my friend for Mongolian beef and fried rice. For appetizers we got lettuce wraps. I got the Asian pear Mojito very light, very refreshing and highly recommend. All the food we had was great. The ambience was nice, dim lights, the only thing it was very cold we were sitting right under the air vent. I was freezing and couldn't wait to but other than that, I enjoyed my night. read more

Zero stars if I could. I asked for a rag at the bar so I could wipe it down myself because it was so dirty. The kid with hair that looked like a mop on his head had the worst attitude about it. The bartender was nice but has no business working as a bartender/server. She was soooo slow and took forever just to get mediocre drinks to us. It took 15 minutes to get her attention to take an appetizer order. In that 15 minutes we were able to find somewhere else to eat, so we paid for our drinks and left.
