We coordinated a visit with a leak detection company, and when it turned out no repair was needed on his end, he did not charge me at all even though I offered. That level of honesty is rare. While we were waiting for the leak detection company to locate the issue, he fixed a problem with my kitchen sink. He was here for about 45 minutes and still did not charge me. I had Owens Plumbing and Rooter install a soft water system. The water system itself was installed correctly, but he caused a small fire in my wall during installation, the stucco repair work was poor, and he did not reconnect my electrical ground once the work was done, which my handyman noticed as a hazard later on. He also damaged/disconnected my sprinkler wiring which cost me additional to repair. I would not recommend Owens Plumbing and Rooter and will not be using him again. read more

They don't come to your house to repair your water heater. They come there to sell you a new water heater. The technician didn't even check the water heater. He said it's 12 years old. You need a new one. I asked if he could look and see what is wrong. He said it's too old. The water heater was not turning on. I bought myself a thermocouple for about $10 and change it. He was asking for $350 to change it and he said even if it doesn't work you have to pay me. Dishonest! read more
