Phil was valuable in providing sound advice and walk us through the most appropriate solution to the problem. We were having too much water pressure coming to the house and water heater is leaking through the relief, not to mention the shutoff valve seems to be failing as well. Phil did a polished and high quality job. His skill and expertise shows in his work product. Cost was reasonable and they were transparent up front with the cost. He also explained all that was installed so I can understand. When it comes to plumbing and water leaks ...It's best to get a pro and expert to give that peace of mind.... Water leaks can get costly if not done right. read more

Phil came by in a pinch. We had a water pressure issue where the reducing valve kept failing after 3 different replacements! He offered to take a look at our problem when we had another family plumber working on-site. He was on a tight schedule but came through! His advice, insight, and expertise was invaluable. We had a emergency water heater issue and decided to call a few companies for a quote to fix the leak or drip from the water heater. American plumbing Method sent out a tech whom was really nice and attentive and extremely helpful, they said I would need a new water heater, however the quote and estimate came from his back office boss, the back office called me and started selling me on waterless water heater and upgrades, when I said I just need a quote for a replacement of my water heater he emailed me a quote for $3410.28 which is absolutely an absorbent amount for a simple replacement. I called a few other companies and was able to get the replacement and all parts done for under $1500.00 for a bigger and better brand of a water heater. Every quote i got was under 2000.00 and this company was trying to gouge the price because I was in a bind and it had to be fixed. The only reason they got a two star is solely because the technician was very nice and very helpful!! read more

Phil.. you diagnosed a problem but refused to fix it. I respectfully asked if you could come a month or two later if you were so busy at the current time, and you aggressively responded that you will not ever have time to help us. You had time to diagnose and charge $155, but what help is that to us!?! We had to hire another plumber, who thank God was competent, respectful, and professional, to again diagnose the problem but guess what!?.. he fixed it. What a concept. Diagnose and fix.. He didn't steal our money and refuse to fix the issue. We didn't need a "report" from you. We required a solution in fixing the plumbing issue. $155 is our hard earned money and you did absolutely nothing to earn that $155 ..except score yourself a yelp review on your incompetence and unprofessionalism. .. read more

Honest, reliable and fairly priced. Installed a garbage disposal for us and cleared a drain for my brother. Recommend this business highly.

Highly recommend American Plumb Method. I called today and Phil came within 2 hours to repair the valves for our kitchen sink. He was quick, professional and appropriately priced. He even waited a bit, so my wife could shower before we turned off the water. Great service read more

Highly recommend. We have been using their services for a variety of plumbing issues. Recently, we had to have the drain in a bathtub n a slab foundation fixed. The pipe was partially covered with cement. Mike and his coworker had to crawl into a very tight space under our heating system and hammer out the cement covering the pipe. They worked very hard to avoid removing the furnace. Hours later when Mike (the co-owner) finished he even thanked his worker for his assistance. They are honest and reasonable. Linda S. read more

My dear friend referred Phil to me, and I'm so happy that she did. She used him for her bathroom reno last year and he did a wonderful job. Finding a competent, reliable, and honest plumber who's reasonably priced is worth their weight in gold. I needed a few things done including the installation of a new water heater at my condo in the West Valley area and he did an outstanding job. Phil is not only very knowledgeable, but also patient, listens to concerns, and answers all questions. I can honestly say, he goes above and beyond to work with the customer and provides various options to stay within your budget; Very transparent with no hidden costs. Finding someone who's not only professional but also possesses a strong work ethic is no easy task. I feel relieved to have American Plumb Method as my "go to" if or when, needed. read more

Called this co. in a hurry after hastily going through the web to find a plumber nearby asap. VERY GLAD I did. So I installed a kitchen sink just fine and connected the hot water but couldn't connect the cold water due to size discrepancy. After going to H. Depot and finding the connecting valve, I tried to get the old one off ultimately to no avail. After 20 minutes I realized the valve was glued to the cold water pipe. So after shutting off the main water to the house, I decided to cut off the old valve and put on the new one. Unfortunately I didn't have the right part to end the job, and the afternoon, on the right note... That entire day I was literally running in and out of the house doing various DIY maintenance. I was sweating balz by 8am. So by the time I wanted to finish the kitchen job I was spent...it was over 100 degrees and having no running water was getting to my head. That's when I made the choice of putting my pride aside and look for professional help. I chose 5 plumbing services to scroll thru and eventually decided upon this company, American Plumb Method, and haven't looked back since. If another issue arises I won't hesitate to call these guys up again, knowing what I know from the tech. who responded to my sos. My service technician was Jared Gayton and he actually guided me step by step into the procedure of what he was doing. Along the way he also spoke about his job and his company, which he proudly represented. It seems like a tight-knit group from top to bottom, and if I had to run a company I'd imagine it would be run the same way. Great Experience. 5 stars. Competitve Pricing. Technician (Jared) was honest, polite, and knows his craft well. Again, this is a company I would not hesitate to call for future plumbing-related issues. read more

We had the good fortune to have friends refer us to American Plumb Method for work needed with our showers, and frankly, most all the faucets in our home. Well, we are ready to stand in line, to give praise, rightly deserved to Mike and this company. They are highly experienced plumbers, thorough and competent who clearly take pride in the quality of their work. In turn, everyone we have had contact with, including Yazmin in the office, have been pleasant, accommodating and effective communicators. After having had a series of unfortunate experiences with other plumbers, we are thrilled to have found such a competent, professional and just plain pleasant plumbing company who are responsive to our needs as they arise. As a Burbank homeowner there is always "something". The current "something" is thought I had smelled gas near my water heater, but wasn't sure, and ignored it - not very smart, especially since it is near the barbecue (bet you are glad you aren't my neighbor). Subsequently my gas bill went from $85 to $194, and the gas company came out for a meter check. I was home and mentioned the water heater. After a quick look the gas company turned off the water heater, and capped the gas line. How wonderful, no hot water, and as a busy massage therapist who does a minimum of three loads of laundry a day, and really hot water is a must, I thought my heart was going to stop. Well, thank goodness I had met American Plumb at a friends house one afternoon. I found the business card and called. Phil answered right away, told him my issue (this is all happening on a Friday, late morning), and he says he can have someone at my home same day about 4:30-5:30p.m. Great, don't care, need it fixed - can't actually believe it was going to be same day. Imagine my surprise when the guys arrive EARLY! What? Does that really happen? Yes, they arrived early, quickly assessed the situation, told me what was needed, gave me a very fair price, and completed the job in a snap. Bottom line: if you are looking for great service, at a fair price, with true professionals, go no further and call today!!!! read more

I used American Plumb Method at my house about 2 years ago when I had a major leak outside my house. The service was quick, efficient and pricing was fair. Yesterday, my parents needed to get a plumber out to snake out a main that every few months gets clogged with tree roots. Their regular plumber couldn't make it, so I recommended American Plumb Method. The tech came out and gave a quote that was initially a bit high, but reduced the price after he realized that my mom was right and all was needed was snaking the roots out. He was efficient, courteous, and my parents were very satisfied. If you are in a need for a plumber call American Plumb Method. They are my go to guys and now they will be my parents' too. Thanks for a good job and fair pricing! We appreciate it! read more

In October 2019 our guest bathroom toilet was not flushing and started flooding non-stop. I didn't have a plumber on call, so I looked on Yelp for plumbers based on reviews, recommendations etc. and found American Plumbing Method. Michael came out the following day and spent time fixing it. He tried different things to see what the problem was. As he explored further to determine the issue it cost more each time it was escalated. Finally, he determined that our child's wipes had clogged up the pipes. Michael removed the toilet, unclogged everything, added a new flange, and put everything back. It cost a lot but he fixed it. Everything seemed to be fine. A few weeks later in November the sink in the same bathroom started leaking and we had Michael come out again. He repaired it and every was working. Fast forward to November 2020 and underneath that bathroom in our garage, we had a small leak in the pipes. We had to replace the entire drainage pipe. As it wasn't an emergency, we used another plumber recommended by someone we trust instead of using Yelp to find someone. The plumber showed me that the flange from the guest bathroom that we had fixed by American Plumbing Method was leaking where it was connected to that drainage pipe. I was incredulous. The new plumber was nice and agreed to charge us a little less than American Plumbing Method had charged us to replace the flange. I texted Michael my disappointment and asked about the warranty on the parts and his work He never replied back. Sorry but I cannot recommend American Plumbing Method. I know every review here is 5-star but we didn't have the same satisfactory experience and results. read more

I needed a plummer to install a few grease traps for a commercial kitchen. During this 3 month period I signed a contract with 2 different plummers. Both backed off the job and had no experience with this type of work. I found phill at American plumbing Method for a second opinion. He took the time to visit the site and spent a good amount of time explaining the job in detail. I could tell from the inital call that he was very professional honest and experienced. Even when I was clear about moving forward with another company. He still spent time over the phone and gave me advise. I ended up hiring phill at American plumbing Method. The job was done correctly with transparency at every stage. These guys are the real deal ! Everyone else just wanted to collect a deposit and worry about the details later. Wish I found them earlier. read more

American Plumb Method also keep me post with every step during the process, very professional company. I will use their service for future plumbing needs. read more

These guys are just flat out honest. We had a leak on our floor and we thought it was the slab underneath. Mike came out at 7pm checked it and told us it wasn't it. If you feel like wasting your time with a company who will completely ignore your requests and then want to waste more of your time by scheduling an appointment so they can charge you for an estimate that you don't need, then, this is the company to go with. Why is it that when you know exactly what you need, a Plumber refuses to give you any kind of price and if you're lucky enough to get a price, they charge you hundreds of dollars even for like a 10 minute job. I would definitely not recommend this company. read more
