My sink backed up for the first time ever, and I first called my warranty company, but neither of their service providers would send the license and certificate of insurance my complex requires. I then called my complex's approved plumbers. One came for a free estimate, spent less than 5 minutes, then said it would cost more than $3000 to remove and replace everything - the pipes, water disposal, etc. Didn't snake, refused my manager's offer to check the units below, left water steadily dripping under the sink into the cabinet. The second company didn't do estimates; they charge 2x$165 just for two plumbers to come look at the problem. I passed. I searched online for "honest plumbers" in my city. The first result, with 5 stars on Yelp, was not available for five days. The second result, another 5 stars, was Happy Flushin. Geovanni and his team of technicians helped complete a very difficult renovation for me. My home is a 4 story condo unit (1900 SQFT, 3 bed/4bath + kitchen, kitchenette, and 2 washer/dryer sets). The project was likely a major pain for his team due to all the stairs and no elevator but they finished it anyways with a smile. The project was also further complicated and difficult to complete as it was insurance related and required numerous mobilizations. Work completed was as follows: 1. REPIPE: Entire re-pipe of all water piping in my home 2. NEW WASTE PIPE: there were several sections of old waste pipe that was replaced in this effort as well. 3. FINISH FIXTURES: Replacement of all finish fixtures for 4 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 kitchenette, 2 dishwasher, 2 washer/dryer set. Happy Flushin was amazing ! I called in the am to fix my garbage disposal that was not running at all. Giovanni answered right away and was able to give me a technician to stop by within the window of time I needed that same day. He called an hour to update me on the technician schedule and told me right away that there wasn't a service fee to come out and diagnose the problem, that I will only pay for what I would be quoted when the technician came. I called HF Plumbing regarding banging pipes when using the washer in the laundry room. You can feel the bathroom wall and floor vibrating located next to the laundry room. We had some poorly renovation done in 2010. Matthew came late to our house on a stormy downpour. He's very cordial and mindful. He Kept putting his cover booties off and on his wet shoes. He left around 9pm after moving the stackable washer/ dryer by himself. Oops, I didn't finish my review after 3 months have gone by. Matthrw came back a few times because the banging pipes were still noticeable. Now we don't hear pipes or feel the floor or walls bang.
