I was craving for some ice cream and decided to stop by here. I've been here before but only for the noodle bowls but have not tried their dessert. Service was quick and there wasn't a lot of people inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of tables too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried their strawberry ice cream which came with some strawberry fruit pieces and two pocky sticks. It was definitely sweet for me and kind of tasted like frozen yogurt. I would definitely try the other desserts and drinks.
One of my family's faves here at The Source (oh my, I hope you have time to explore this amazing shopping center complete with a cinema plex!). Had the bulgogi rice bowl and it hit the spot;). Didn't finish the rice, which was covered with bulgogi (marinated beef), seaweed, and a seasoned mayo drizzle. Tasty food and refreshing beverages. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ample seating. It can get a little congested by the register as they also sell collectibles.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tip: customer favorites are highlighted with a thumbs up badge!

I feel like they need to schedule at least 2 people a shift or have a self serve kiosk to order. I've seen a lot of reviews saying that they don't have the best customer service, but I don't blame them when they're stressed with orders. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment is so overwhelming with music that's blasting so loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food itself was pretty good and solid. Highly recommend mixing it in before you dig in. 4) strawberry soft serve. Same as above! Mix it in before eating. If there's one thing I'm surprised at, it's the cookies and cream soft serve. They mark it as a best seller... but I'm just not convinced. It doesn't taste anything like you'd expect from a cookies and cream ice cream. I've gotten it a couple of times thinking maybe I'll give it another chance and maybe it was just made differently the last time I went. But nope. It was unfortunately disappointing each time I've had it. The flavor was just not there.... Back to the review of the place. The service is good, the workers are good at answering any questions and are also fairly quick when it comes to making the food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is unique in that it's set open like a garage door so you will see the main shopping mall plaza. People can easily see you while you're eating so if you get uncomfortable by that then it's probably best that you take it to go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, the food is good and so is the soft serve. I will gladly come back, especially for the rose pasta, which I highly, highly recommend!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was a bit busy due to an event happening right outside the store. The service at the beginning was not the greatest but it wasn't super bad either. However, I ordered the shrimp carbonara with kimchi and it took a good while to come out. I went to go check on the order...and they gave it to another customer on accident. They claimed that the customer didn't touch it and wanted to give it to me but I asked if they could just make me a new one instead, but they ran out of the sauce and that was their last one. I ended up just switching it out to their rose pasta, which was pretty good. They ended up giving me a refund, which was nice of them to do. I believe it was either $14 or $14.50 for the dish. It didn't take long for us to get our food and it was piping hot and stayed hot pretty much the entire time we ate it. There were udon noodles, yam noodles, little sausages, and bacon in a rich and creamy sauce topped with parmesan cheese. It was just as good as I hoped it'd be and would definitely come back to The Source just to get it again!
Great ice cream! Very low wait time when its get to the later evenings. I went at 8:00PM, and there was no wait. Our orders came out very quick. They're all very good, but it does have a very frozen yogurt kind of taste from my opinion. They're all pretty similar in taste from what my party determined.

Decent beverages and treats spot located at the Source (outdoor mall) in Buena Park. The hubby, stepdaughter and I were walking around the ground level and opted for this spot for smoothies. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of tables and chairs for seating and partaking in either beverages, savory noodles, sweet treats, or soft serve.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The stepdaughter and I both chose pistachio smoothies which were very tasty and satisfying on a warm SoCal day. Hubby chose a peach flavored smoothie that he also thought was tasty. Their happy face logo on the cups is cute. Service at the counter was OK not memorable. After dinner, my daughter introduced me Overflo . This is trendy eatery inside the Source OC offering grab-and-go waffles, and ice cream. We ordered matcha ice cream, I was expecting a full matcha soft ice cream, not a matcha topping on a white ice cream. For the price, it should be a real full matcha but maybe it's the way is it for this place . The cup is kind of small, but great for sharing if you're not up for eating the whole thing after dinner . I've visited numerous times to try different dessert items (really like their earl grey sundae) but this time we wanted to change it up and try the drinks. I got the strawberry lemonade (which had popping boba) and my friend got the hallabong mandarin highball (non alcoholic). At 50% sweetness, they were just right, but I remember feeling a bit odd with the service because the cashier was just sitting there chatting with someone without acknowledging us for a bit. I'm not saying she cant chat, I'm just saying the way she then asked if we were ready was a bit off putting. I want to gate keep this so bad, but it's too good not to share!! I come here specifically for one item....THE ROSE BOWL! 'Rose Bowl': I like to think of this like an Asian rose pasta dish! Comes with udon noodles and glass noodles, which are so chewy and bouncy, and bacon, sausage, all smothered in a delicious, creamy and spicy sauce! I basically get this whenever I go to The Souce, and it hits everytime!! There is a bit of a wait sometimes for the food since they don't have much staff, but I don't mind because I'm always satisfied with how the food comes out. Hmmm... 2 words to describe their drinks... Extremely sweet! Holy cow, I asked for less sweet and it was so overly sweet I couldn't even sip it until I got home to put more coffee in my latte. The Matcha was pretty flavorful but the matcha was kind of chunky and not fully blended properly. And again, super sweet. For over $7 a drink, probably a lot better options elsewhere. You definitely get your money's worth if you order food; the portions are generous and the drinks are delicious. The staff are friendly enough. Seating is kind of limited because the space is small, and depending on the weather, I feel like it could be too hot or cold; one of the walls rolls up so insulation isn't the best. Overall, not a bad place to try out, but not the first place I'd recommend to someone at this mall. read more

Came to Overflo on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. The food came out pretty quickly! We got the rose udon and it was yummy! I shared it with a friend which was a good idea. It got a bit heavy so I don't think I could eat it myself. I also tried the kimchi fried rice and it was ok.. I've definitely had better else where. Tons of open seating here which is nice. read more
It's a soft serve ice cream, with topping of pocky I believe and it's just refreshing for summer, price wise it's pricey but the place is cozy and it didn't taste like fast food soft serve ice cream, the milk flavor is more enhance! Creamiest from some that I have tried before. Their smoothie is good! I seriously love it and it still is good after few hours! I'm surprised for it. I decided to try this place after walking around The Source for a few hours. I got the rose bowl with udon and glass noodle which was 13.50 + tax. Given the location I can understand the pricing. The food itself was great! The sauce was creamy and the portion size was enough to fill me up. I would come back to try the other bowls. read more

Sadly not a fan. We were in a hurry to grab something to eat so we chose this place without even looking at their reviews first. I have high expectations when it comes to Korean food, especially at a big mall in Buena Park with a bunch of Korean stores and restaurants. You would think the food would be great. I ordered a bulgogi bowl and it was below average - tasteless and the meat was dry. This place offers other bowls like Kim chee and spam bowls, but I was not a fan of what I ordered. They also have a variety of specialty flavored drinks... perhaps that's their draw. read more

My only "complaint" would be that their matcha drink is not the best...I came here and the person who made it kind of rushed it...it wasn't mixed well when I first got it. Overflo. has expanded their menu to include savory Korean street food and I'm all here for it! I got the ever popular Rose which features udon noodles, glass noodles, bacon, and sausages covered in a creamy, spicy rose sauce. This was a tad spicer than I expected (have that iced beverage on hand!), but it was still manageable. Super addicting and delicious! I also tried out their Kimchi Fried Rice which was super solid! A classic Korean favorite. I can't speak on their drinks or desserts, but I would definitely recommend their savory bowls and bites! read more

Located on the first floor of The Source and I loved how the store opens into the courtyard to create a really bright vibe. Service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for the food on a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I shared the Rose Tteokbokki ($13) and the soft serve affogato ($7). They ran out of rice cakes so we had udon instead but it was still really delicious! I especially liked the glass noddles in it. I also liked how it was creamy and not too spicy and how they had a decent amount of smoky sausage and bacon in it. The affogato was also yummy and felt pretty light. I used to love coming to this place for their rice bowls. The spam and bulgogi were my favorite. I came here again recently and was so disappointed at their new proportions. I think they gave me one slice of spam in my rice bowl? They used to give so much and I used to enjoy eating here a lot. I'm not going to lie. I'm not sure how this store is still in business besides the fact that they have generous store hours relative to the other shops at this location. Their soft serve "ice cream" is around $6-$7. I got the fresh strawberry for $7 and my friend got the $6 chocolate. This is an open floor concept with ample seating on a Tuesday evening. We ordered upfront and got our items shortly after. The product looks amazing at a glance but with the first taste, I realized this is not ice cream. I couldn't quite figure out what it was. It's not really your typical soft serve either. It doesn't remind me of soft serve at McDonald. It's closer to yogurt from yogurt land but even then, I couldn't put my finger to what it was. It reminds me of the soft serve "ice cream" you get at HomeTown buffet which is actually soft serve yogurt. It has this grainy texture to it. The taste wasn't bad but I would not buy this for $7 relative to what you can get elsewhere, granted nothing else was open at the time. Overall, good for the store hours and ample seating and quick service, but way overpriced. read more
Simple spot serving soft serve, shakes, soda & savory specialities So I can't speak about their desserts and dishes, but I can comfortably say that you should not order the coffee here under any circumstance. Theirs is super watery with no espresso flavor whatsoever. It was hard detecting all the nuances, and I thought it was because of the piping hot temperature at first. But after letting it cool after and taking a few sips at a time, it was still lacking bitterness and creaminess. I don't like wasting drinks, but this one went straight into the nearest trash can after taking a photo. Avoid avoid avoid You will find Overflo on the ground level of The Source OC, an outdoor shopping mall. Right in front of the main plaza where events are hosted. There's a decent amount of chairs and tables here. The atmosphere is a mix of orange tiles, white walls, and gray floors. Not a color combination I would choose personally, but I'm not an interior designer. Parking in the structure is plentiful and free, but the closest spots are always taken during the busy hours. I'm usually in the area and I'm open to ordering their soft serve instead next time. read more

The combination of the orange tiles, bright lights and stacked milk crate tables was interesting. Injeolmi soft ice cream ($6) - milk ice cream by itself didn't have much flavor. The "soft" ice cream part was not creamy at all. The entire thing was so super sweet and way too sweet for my liking. The thai tea part was good but there was too much of it. It was honestly disappointing. I did like that they gave you a large portion for the $6.50 they charge you for one. But since I didn't like it I couldn't finish it. It probably took about 10 minutes for them to make my ice cream. But I didn't like that they didn't call me or anything to say it was ready. She just put it on the counter and walked away.
