Sat and waited for a server no one came , so sat in bar and still , no one. I left and gave my money to cold beer and cheeseburgers. Get it together outback. It was dead in there and I see why. Crap service.

Kingsland pasta
Allison J.

I used to come here a lot even when I was younger with my family. This time. I ordered delivery of the potato bacon soup and the kingsland pasta of shrimp and steak. I will say I'm not impressed and honestly disappointed if I spent 50 bucks on this. The soup would've been amazing if it wasn't so salty. It tastes like a regular loaded baked potato soup with green onion and bacon but it was so salty. Then the pasta ‍. I can't even. The taste of it was fine. It really tasted fine. But presentation wise and quality wise was terribly. I can't believe I got this itty bitty scrap of steak and I don't even know about the shrimp. Looks absolutely NOTHING like the photo. In the photo on the menu it shows a lot more steak and shrimp. The shrimp in the menu photo is also a dark red color and these are not. I'm not sure if this is the same type of shrimp. I asked for medium rare and did not get medium rare. Very disappointed. If you would not serve this on a plate in a restaurant why in the hell would you send it to delivery?

Great dinner! Had a newer server and she was great! Food was excellent, hot, just as ordered. Had the bloomin onion (of course) along with steak and shrimp. Server was super attentive without interrupting etc. have been coming here for years and keep coming back!!

I have been coming here for years. Today was my wife's birthday and was treated to a birthday dessert which is always appreciated. There was a miss understanding on the price of a bottle of wine and the manager was more than considerate in the adjustment. Much appreciated. You will not be disappointed if you eat here.

Dried up steak sandwich, tough, dry

Steak sandwich / meat was overcooked/dry - inedible Won't be back to outback Server not very responsive. Tried to sell gift cards. Yuck

This is the best location. James, gm is great. Rebecca is a great server. The chicken on a Barbie is great, mash potatoes & salad.

Got carried away eating the delicious and forgot to take a picture before I cut into it, LOL

Well now that I was feeling better I came out. I was craving French onion soup. The broth was good, I mentioned to the waiter, there is NO ONION,he said he mentioned it to the kitchen and said he was told it was a bad batch! And they still wanted to charge me! Wow! Sent a message to the contact as I was asked!

Pre made

The new meal deal is a good value, but the food was not good at all. Three courses for $15-$25. My first course, I feel like the salad was pre-made and served. It was the pecan chopped salad. The coconut shrimp was not good, specially frozen and the shrimp were old. The baked potato also wasn't mushy and was hard. The Bud light was mostly flat and the cheesecake was still frozen. Guy next to me also complaining. Bad night.

Our Door Dash order

It was a Happy New Year's Eve at our house with a "dinner for two" except not. Attempt # 2 with an order from Door Dash. I ordered the blooming onion appetizer, the Victoria filet mignon, lobster tail and baked potato, baked potato soup, a side house salad, a salted caramel cookie skillet and a New York style cheesecake. Yes, it was a lot of food but went out with a bang, lol. The restaurant forgot to put my main course in the bag which was the baked potato soup so unfortunately it was just salad and dessert for me. There needs to be someone checking the orders twice because it seems door dash orders are always missing something. It was a great meal for my husband who enjoyed every last bit of his last meal of 2024!!

Was definitely not my first choice while on vacation in Arizona unfortunately we went during spring training every single restaurant was so packed So we chose outback Our waiter was extremely friendly We ordered drinks of course they had the drink but not the "toy" that makes the drink cute so had to make another choice Ordered a salad and it was mainly lettuce was to much for a salad and barely the other ingredients Steak dinner was good flavorful vegetables tasty Service was fast Restaurant bathroom was very clean

Piece of plastic

Me and my girlfriend came in this outback the other day and we got seated to get food, had good customer service but after we got our food we ate a little then had to go so we got our left overs and left. Later that night I get off work and reheated my leftovers I take a bite and I felt something very hard so I thought oh it might be a stiff onion but I pulled it out of my mouth and I found it was a PIECE OF PLASTIC! So I called them the next day and they said sorry the best we can do is $20 off your next purchase. I'm not going to lie I feel like I should have gotten a refund.

What the manager considered "busy" was.

From the very first glance, it felt like something I had been craving without even realizing it. The ribbons of tagliatelle were impossibly light, perfectly coated, not weighed down but lifted by a delicate, silky sauce that clung to every bite like it belonged there. And then--the lobster. Sweet, tender, and rich in that unmistakable way that only fresh lobster can be, it didn't just complement the dish, it elevated it into something unforgettable. But the real thrill? Breaking into that lobster claw. There was something almost ceremonial about it--the crack, the reveal, the reward. It turned the meal into an experience, something interactive and satisfying in a way that went beyond flavor. It was indulgent, yes--but also playful, exciting, and deeply gratifying. Every bite felt like rediscovery. Like reminding myself why pasta has earned its place as one of life's simplest but most profound pleasures. After five years, this wasn't just worth the wait--it exceeded every expectation I had built up in my mind. This wasn't just a dish. It was a comeback.

If you had a question, he got an answer. If you needed anything, he got it covered. He provided a very relaxing evening after a long work week. Additionally, all of our food came out in a very timely manner. Now the food. For starters, I opted for the tenderloin chili which was very flavorful. Despite the cheese not looking melted on top of the chili, it was perfectly heated and had a little spicy kick to it as well. The jalapeño honey cornbread was the perfect pairing. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Both items were very delicious. For drinks I had the copper spur which was a slight riff on a classic gold rush cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was like chocolate pudding with pizazz. Again, both items were very good. All in all, I would absolutely return. Easy 5/5 for me .

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

Saudero tacos (a brisket confit suadero tacos with a chile jam, aguacate, serrano cruda, toasted sesame, fresnos and micro cilantro) We sat on the patio for a wonderful AZ spring evening. When my friend and I got there, we still waited 15 minutes past our reservation time, so keep that in mind. But while you are waiting, you are hanging out outside by the colorful tree art and there are worse places to wait! Logan, the hostess, was lovely and seated us. Cara was our waitress and she was beyond friendly. I wish I could hang out with her in real life. She brought us a free dessert on the house because I noted on the reservation that it was my birthday. The dessert, the Mexican ice cream, was outstanding and an impressive portion. But I'm getting ahead of myself. We got the elote, cucumber salad, aguacate, pulpo (octopus), and steak. The starters were insanely delicious. I recommend all three. I think the standout for both of us was the cucumber salad. The entrees are the only reason I am not giving a full five stars, because while both were such high-quality, the steak was hard for my friend to separate from the bone, and the octopus was overly salty. But I still loved every bite, and the portion size for both entrees was so appreciated. If you are in Phoenix or visiting, I recommend you make a point to go to Bacanora. It is such a cool space, the food is clearly carefully crafted, and the staff is warm and happy to have you.
