I went to Out Back last night for dinner and the service was terrible. The waitress kept reaching across me instead of walking around to place drinks & food. Also she never bothered to come back & take up the empty dishes which really pissed me off. We had kids at the table although we didnt ask she never offered booster seats & 2 would have been needed. The portions are small as well. I wont be going back ...Texas Rd House is better even though Texas Rd House is noisier. read more

We called ahead to ask if we could put our name on the list since it was a 40 minute wait. We were told yes and asked what time we would arrive. When we arrived, 30 minutes later, we approached the hostess stand and told them we were already on the list. They searched the list, found our name and told us it would about a 40 minute wait. I mentioned that it was a 40 minute wait 30 minutes ago when we called and placed our name on the list and were advised that the time starts when you arrive. Obviously, someone needs more training, whether it be the person who took our call or the person who we encountered when we arrived. Worst ever! I joined Yelp to warn people...it was THAT BAD!!!! It took well over 5 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us. My French onion soup came out with bread and no cheese...exactly opposite of what I ordered. My wife's salad came out as a normal salad...with the cheese and onion that she asked them to hold. She sent the salad back, so they could remake it. The entrees came out before the salad. When I talked to a server, she said someone 'bumped' the salad and threw away the ticket (whatever 'bumped' means). My wife's steak was overcooked and had spices on it - you would think they could have at least got the steak temperature right!!! Of course, we never got the offered the warm bread, our water didn't check on our drinks, and nobody offered to send over a manager. The waiter and waitress that I talked to did not tell anyone there were unhappy customers, so we paid full price for a terrible meal. I sort of like restraints where the manager goes from table to table checking on things. There is never a sign of a manager at this location. We have been to this location a number of times since it opened. Each time we go, the service and the food have gotten progressively worse. Over the past 2 years, we've tried to give this location extra chances. We are done now. No more Outback! Hello, Outback ownership - it is time to shut this location down. Went in for a lunch. Quality food, as typical with Outback. Waitress, or Waitperson, was friendly and attentive.

I know, I know a chain steakhouse with a faux-strailian theme. We went here the other night and had one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant in a long time. My steak a humble sirloin was one of the best I've ever had period. We went early so there was no wait and the service was great without being overbearing. They accommodated all of my requests light on the seasoning, fries with bacon on the side. Everything was delicious. I really like the mild flavor of the pumpernickel bread they bring to the table. My only complaint would be that the salad was very heavy on iceberg lettuce and tasted watery. Otherwise this was a great meal. Well be back. read more

Wow, second time going was awful. The service was good, but that's about all. I ordered the wings, and they literally had no sauce on them. They were completely dry. I am originally from Newark, but now stationed with the military in Fort Lee, VA. I had to travel to Philadelphia on short notice and along the way, my oil change light came on. Being from the area, I made my way for the Jiffy Lube in the same shopping center as this Outback. I dropped my wife and infant daughter off here before going to get an oil change. Needless to say, I joined them earlier and was able to have dinner. The service was awesome, all our needs were met. The steak was amazing, perfectly cooked. Our meal was a complete disappointment. The food was poorly prepared and had way too much garlic. The service was slow even though they weren't busy. They have a bizarre policy which prevents ordering anything from the bar fifteen minutes before closing. We have eaten at other Outback Steakhouses in several states and had great meals. After waiting an hour and a half we were seated only to wait another hour for our food. Once we received our food the waitress never came back until she handed our check. First time here and the waitress is friendly and the resturant was dimmly lit and clean. For an appitizer, we got a Blomming onion. It's pretty good along with the horseradish sauce. I ordered the ribeye medium well with the mixed veggies and the baked sweet potato. The steak is tender and medium well. The mixed veggies wasn't bad and that sweet potato was PHENOM!!! My grandmother ordered the sirloin steak well done, she said it was a bit tough but she enjoyed her salad and baked sweet potato as well. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. read more

We went here recently for dinner. It's a typical Outback located in a strip mall with packed parking. We had to wait to be seated. Our server Kiersten was great, the bone in rib eye steak was excellent, tasty and cooked dead-on medium rare. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. On Sunday (Mother's Day) we decided to order take out with curbside pick up from Outback. Ordering on line was simple and we requested a 5:20 pm pickup. When we got to the restaurant at 5:15 pm the pick up line was wrapped around the parking lot and out onto Kirkwood Highway. After waiting in line for an hour we found out that they were still filling orders for the 4 o'clock pick up hour. To make a long story short we finally received our order (3 specials, 2 filet and 1 prime rib). We were expecting the worst, however, our food was fantastic! Everything was still warm when we got home. The steaks were done correctly (medium), seasoned great, and tender as could be! Also, everything we ordered was in our pick up bag, down to butter and sauces. Nothing was left out. I want to give a shout out to the staff at Outback....everyone working on Sunday earned every cent they made. Having to deal with irate customers while trying to keep proper social distancing is not easy. I certainly would not have been as gracious and accommodating! When we got to the restaurant it was packed and there was quite a wait. Once we were seated and started eating we definitely understood why. The food was amazing from the appetizer to the last bite of our meal. We started with the blooming onion as an appetizer. My boyfriend and I both got the seafood combo that included lobster, grilled shrimp, crab cakes and two sides (we got Mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese, sweet potato and mixed vegetables). There was not one piece of food that was not amazing. Our children's food was also delicious. They got the grilled cheese fruit and chicken strips. Our waitress's name was Alex and she made sure we were taken care of from the time we sat down until we walked out of the door. She made our experience that much better. My first time being at outback and my experience was OK! Let me start by saying the waitress I had was very good, polite, kind everything you would want in a server. But outback threw me off with the way it looked with the Chipped walls and ceilings and when you first walk in it had a weird smell. The food wasn't to die for but I do recommend the wings. I have been here several times due to its close location. Always had a good meal (steak, steak and more steak). The appetizers are pretty good also. This place could have gotten five stars, but on our last outing, the hostess took us to our table, but we never got a waitress. After about 15 minutes, I was ready to walk out but my wife caught a waitress going buy our table and was finally able to get some drinks. It was a birthday occasion for a family member and got a free desert for our troubles. We will still go back again. read more

My wife and I went to Outback on a Wednesday night--the place wasn't crowded at all. Dear wife had the parm crusted chicken, I had a 9 oz sirloin. While the service was attentive, the food was abysmal. The parm crusted chicken was soggy-not "crusted"...basically, a gristly piece of grilled chicken with a few burnt breadcrumbs thrown on top. My steak was over cooked-I asked for med well, it came back over well. It was also bland and dry. Personally, I love a good steak, and I've cooked steak professionally in steakhouses in my youth--this was probably close to the worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant. What's more, it was advertised as a 9 ounce steak--it was undersized, probably more like a 6 oz. Save your money--Outback needs to save their advertising money and start hiring decent chefs. read more

OutBack used to be our go to restaurant for birthdays and for whenever we wanted great chicken and ribs, The Drover's Platter. I took my son and his wife and two grandchildren for dinner. Will never go back, it was that bad. We ordered the Blooming Onion as an app. It was so greasy and not enjoyable. I ordered half a rack of ribs. Used to get the Blue Cheese Chopped Signature Salad and a sweet potato. They took the salad off the menu. My daughterinlaw had a Prime Rib and a few shrimp for the kids plus Mac and cheese. I think those were okay. What was appalling was the Ribs and Chicken Platter my son order. We were used to the Drover's Platter which the Barbequed Chicken and Ribs covered the entire plate. My son was excited as he thought they brought it back. His plate came out with a tiny piece of grilled chicken, not Barbequed and I kid you not, 3 Barbequed ribs. Not nearly a dinner for a 6'2" 34 year old. We expressed our disappointment to the waiter. He offered something else which my son declined. Excuse at that point not hungry anymore. Then the manager came over and apologized. That was it. They could have comped the disgusting appetizer or my son's meal at least. The whole meal cost over $100 with tip.we will not be back. normally the food is pretty good, but my recent trip here was a disaster. i ordered prime rib sandwich. it was really disgusting. the meat lookd like a square, whih made me wonder if it had come preformed and frozen. it was charred and extremely dry, totally unedible. there was no juice, horseradish or anything else offered to give it some moisture. when i told the waiter i did not want it he had the manager come. the manager tried to tell me that it was cooked correctly. i disagreed, saying prime rib, even as a sandwich is not usually well done and charbroiled. he insisted that the meal came to me correctly but i still declined to try another. th manager, as a token of good will, did not charge me for my drink and salad. read more

My husband and I went to Outback expecting a good meal. We didn't receive one. Though the waitress was attentive, the kitchen was slow. It took over a half hour to get a bloomin onion and close to an hour for our meal. We arrived at 4, so it was busy, but not swamped. When we first arrived the 3 girls behind the podium were talking to an older gentleman. He was not a customer and there were 3 girls, so I found it rude it took a few minutes to acknowledge us. This should have been our clue to leave. We were seated at the booth behind the podium. The restaurant began to fill with waiting people and a father and his daughter stood at the end of our table. The girls at the podium should keep waiting patrons in the waiting area and away from the seated customers. The meal was bad. The loaded baked potatoe had maybe 3 bacon bits and 3 pieces of shredded cheese. It was not loaded at all. The steak was terrible. It was tough as shoe leather. Years ago, we used to come to this location regularly and it was great every time. On the last visit we have received some almost uncooked steaks (which were remedied) and we decided not to return for a while. Recently decided to give it a try again and returned. The store had been remodeled and looked very nice, and was clean. Staff was friendly and fast, no complaints about the service. Both of our steaks were again very underdone. We went to this Outback for my Father-In-Laws birthday and we had a great time. We ordered the Bloomin' Onion and an order of Queso Pretzels. The Bloomin' Onion looked a little small and we joked about how Outback must have cut back on the size lately. The waitress overhead our conversation and brought us a second one because she agreed that it seemed small. The entrees we had, Alice Springs Chicken, NY Strip to name a couple were very good. Went here to celebrate my sons bday and the entire night was bad. My son ordered his ribeye medium rare and it was so undercooked it was practically raw. I ordered my porterhouse with no seasoning and it had seasoning coating it. When we first ordered I told the waiter that I had a to go order also but that I wanted it on a separate check. While waiting the blooming petals that was part of the order was brought to the table on a plate by someone other than our server. I informed him that it was part of a to go order and he took it back. When the order came with the ONE check not separate like I asked we left and I dropped the food off to my son who was working. Well the blooming petals were NOT in the bag. I had to go back out and get the order and drop it off to him later. This was a celebration dinner that turned into one mistake after another. We came here on a Wed for the 3 course meal for 12.99. It is a bang for the buck but we opted to order off the menu anyway since the prefix was actually 1.00 more but you got the dessert. We wanted a dessert not offered so it just made sense to order off the regular menu which is still a deal. We both had the 9 ounce sirloin cooked rare. Usually Outback gets that right on the nose. It was closer to medium rare this time but still good and tender. For sides we had the house salad with the tangy tomato dressing(which could be one of the best dressings ever), the Caesar salad, the mac and cheese (1.99 upgrade) and fries. This was the first time I noticed mac and cheese on the menu. The waitress was honest and said sometimes hit or miss. I thought it was just okay but the bf tore it up. Fries were good too. For dessert we shared some caramel toffee warm cookie thing with ice cream. Out of this world! And for all of that, bread and a beer our bill was 44.00 before tip. Can't beat it! read more

We've been to this location many, many times. We did enjoy the Bloomin Onion, but that's where it ended for me. My husband grills great rib eyes at home so we never order them out. My husband got the pork chop and he raved about it and the sweet potato. I really wanted the shrimp pasta dish they used to have, but it's gone so I was wanting seafood. Our friend and I both ordered a Caesar salad which was excellent. Really the best dressing around, but the crab cakes we ordered. Well, those crab cakes were worse than any you could buy in the frozen food section at Acme. They were mush with no flavor. Nothing like the picture, not one large lump of crab meat. The Aussie fries are the worst French fries ever. Any diner has much better fries. I didn't complain because it was my first time eating either. If I'd had them before and the taste or quality was not what it was before I would have complained. I'm just warning anyone looking for a good crab cake, you won't find it here. read more
