We came on a weekday to celebrate a birthday and received great service. I forget my waitress name but she was great. Food: - We got the spicy chicken bites as an appetizer and it was BUSSSINNNNN!! omg i definitely wanna go back and get those again, definitely would recommend this! 10/10 - i got the salmon & shrimp combo with rice and broccoli and a baked sweet potato....10/10 i even had leftovers to take to lunch!! Would definitely recommend - 8 Oz steak cooked "well done" but looked "well" to me; with steamed rice and a Caesar salad with bacon bits. This was an order for pickup at the Longhorn Mistake House restaurant. What good is it to go to a steakhouse for steak when they can't prepare the meat properly. I ordered medium done and got a steak cooked all the way through and dry. To top that off I get a carcinogenic bitter burnt end for my troubles. What sense does it make to ask the customer how they want their steak prepared if they are just going to do their own thing anyway. From the looks of the steak I thought it was from Appleby or Fridays and not a steakhouse. Waste of time, money and effort. I should have gone to Food Lion and made it myself. Longhorn has been my favorite steakhouse for years. I took my daughter there yesterday and was very disappointed. The outlaw ribeye used to be a huge, thick, cut of beef. Yesterday, It was pathetic. Thin, under seasoned, overcooked, and bland. They lost a faithful customer. read more

Ordered the day before Christmas Eve to pic up on Christmas Eve because they get so busy. They waited until I showed up at the right time to tell me they had no baked potatoes. I had to wait AN HOUR in the parking lot for my food which was of course cold when I got it and colder when I got home. The parking lot was full of people waiting for orders when I got there and some were STILL waiting when I left - so they had waited OVER an hour for their food. This place used to be good but has gone so downhill it's not even funny. My new go-to. Amazing and delectable steaks at less than hamburger prices. You can easily take a group of 4-8 people and have a great meal and experience at less than $200. Crazy fresh rolls with cinnamon butter that threaten to take the place of your meal and I can't say that I've ever had bad customer service. Be prepared to wait because I don't believe they have a slow period but the wait is always worth it. Treat yourself, get the extra mushrooms and onions. And come with an appetite. The margaritas are excellent and I'd love to tell you about the desserts but my eyes always say yes but my stomach has not yet allowed me sufficient space. read more

First time going to a Longhorn's and it pleasantly surprised me. We were assisted by Nina and she was great ! Very warm and gave appropriate suggestions. The food itself was great: i would recommend the chicken bites (nom nom) which were fairly inexpensive for an appetizer (under $10). If you are getting an entree, I would skip the fries as a side, they seemed microwaved and not as fresh as they should've been. I will note this visit was around 3 pm, so not quite lunch not quite dinner so the wait was non existent and the service was not rushed at all because I can imagine they get busy. Went for dinner. There was a bit of a wait to be seated but only about 20 minutes. It didn't seem that busy at the time so, not sure what was the cause. Maybe staffing? Anyway, the server (Stacey) was great. She was friendly, pleasant and more friendly. She was fun to talk to. The meal was very good. One of my favorites is Brussels sprouts. As we entered the restaurant we seen the waitress clean the table by wiping the crumbs on the seat and the floor. Then the server drop my salad on the table and the was dirty underneath. Was advice getting a manager, who never came until we were about to leave. Our food came an hour after we ordered. We were told one steak had to be refired it was not cooked as desired. In other words one of our plates was getting cold. Also the salad never came back. We left sitting there 2 hours to only have a cup of soup and tasteless chicken bites. First, the restaurant was extremely clean and well kept. The service was exceptional and our steaks were tender and cooked just the way we ordered. I was surprised how quickly the bread drinks and salad were delivered; our meal also came quickly. The food was prepared excellently and very delicious. Our waitress "Jewel's" was very friendly, courteous and professional. Her customer service skills were outstanding and that made it a pleasure to dine there. This establishment is very family friendly, handicapped and wheelchair accessible. The Longhorn Steakhouse at the Bear location closes at 10pm. I arrived with my party of 4 at 9pm last night. As we walked up to the front door, I see staff walking / standing around inside, a couple employees standing inside near the front door, and one woman coming outside to tell us "we have a fire problem". Meanwhile, there is no fire truck in sight. We wait awhile in the parking lot, and there is still no fire truck to arrive. I am from out of state, and I've noticed many restaurants in Bear, MD want to close early due to them not being busy. Therefore, I feel Longhorn Steakhouse lied to us this night. Holiday weekend, I understand there's some wait (only 10 min when they suggested 20) and some noise (full tables throughout) but I didn't expect tables around us seated after we were to catch up and be ready to leave when our little table of two still hadn't gotten a check. Again, the steak was perfectly cooked if slightly un even in seasons. We also had the chicken and it was supreme, along with the rice pilaf. Drinks were basic and fine and the service that was given was warm and responsive. It simply took twice as long for each course to come out as it should and I think our server got that idea when the 3rd time he came to check us after salads we still had no entrees and my response was curt. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food but I felt as though our waitress had a huge section of the restaurant that included a big party so we had to wait for basic things. If I weren't already full off the bread and app I'd have ordered an extra side; a veggie. I had the Spicy Chicken Bites as an appetizer. It is tossed in a sweet and spicy chili-ginger sauce. Wow! This place has changed for the worse. Went to get a beer and dinner. Went to the bar area tonight and there were only two other people at the bar. You would have thought that it was a packed bar. The bartender was inattentive. Had to explain that other people were meeting us and we would eat dinner later but just drinks for now. Two of the three steaks ordered were not cooked correctly, and the third had grizzle about a 1/4 of the way through, which shouldn't ever be on a steakhouse sirloin. To top it off, the manager never came around to see why 2 steaks off a table were sent back. It seemed like they didn't care, all this for my birthday which wasn't acknowledged like in previous years. Looks like time to pull up stakes and go to another steak house. read more

We have been there many times. Last time my husbands lobster was raw and it took quite some time to replace we ended up up taking it home. Went there tonight and my steak was raw. My husbands salad was way overdressed he didn't eat it. The couple beside us even had a complaint. Will say the mashed potatoes were good and enjoyed the Long Island iced tea. We stopped in for an early(4:15pm) dinner a few days ago. We waited while the hostess cleaned a table for us. After she cleaned the table she walked back and forth several times until I asked her how long will our wait be. She responded that she can't sit us at that table. I pointed to an almost empty dining room and said, can we sit at one of those tables. She disappeared and after 5 minutes came back with a manager that showed her where to seat us. Our waitress was prompt, informative and polite, took our orders, and in short order we had our drinks, salads and dinners. We both had 6 oz Flo's Filets. I looked my wife's and thought it looked like a sirloin. Mine was raw, tough as nails and was a cut at least 2 feet away on a steer from filet. We had a manager come to our table to offer his opinion on our dinners. He offered to take mine back for re-cooking, which I declined. After discussing the alleged filet he offered to have a new steak cooked, which I declined. He then decided to not charge me for something inedible. He seemed very happy to do that, and I thanked him, paid our bill with our server and left, never to return again. read more

Which is up the road with a shorter wait time. Now, I have dined at LongHorn on several occasions. Matter of fact, celebrated my sister's and one of my girlfriends there too before! -BUT... Just NOT at this specific location! Must I say I have never been so embarrassed the fact that I actually "tried to" celebrate someone else's birthday recently. Please note, I am sighing as I am typing this. First red flag was seeing unhappy people, not towards me though, but the fact that this restaurant was unorganized with seating arrangements. Despite that they had pagers. People were being seated before the ones that has been actually waiting. Even I felt guilty as I was being lead to mines. Service was so damn slow and our meals looked like an 8 year old had put it together. Complimentary Bread - Okay. Appetizers - Disappointed. Salads - Disappointed. Steaks - Disappointed. Not waiting patiently at Texas RoadHouse - Extremely disappointed! Ugh, our entree's were overly cooked to dry burnt which we all had asked for medium. The sides looked liked microwaved products from the frozen aisle. Only thing that saved me was sipping on strawberry lemonade. Could have been an off iffy day or maybe not, but never again. I tried to be the life of the party, but in conclusion just sitting and thinking to myself in such regret. This too is joining into one of the worst experiences of dining encounters. =/ read more

Don't get the server that is also working the bar. I had Derek T and was very dissatisfied. He took our order and never looked back. We waited a long time for salads. my steak was over cooked and tough. the baked potatoe had sat so long you could not see the sour cream. he never asked if everything was okay. another server returned the meal and I was charged for what I returned. when I told Derek he blamed the other server for not telling him. then he took a very long time to fix my check. very disappointed! read more
