So recently I was blessed to take a work trip to Wilmington, Delaware. While we were there my co-workers and I were recommended this great steak place. Now I really love steak houses and some times it's a hit or miss. However, this time it truly was a hit and I have to say if you get a chance to experience this wonder restaurant please make it a must. The experience was amazing and the food was nothing short of delicious and work of arts. Our server knew exactly what he was talking about and recommended some of the best things on the menu. This restaurant was a small quaint little place but let me say it was definitely up scale and worth every penny. I am not a wine person but boy did we try some great ones that really complimented our food. If you get a chance please try out some great food.

Classy place, attentive service, courteous staff. Even though my party was difficult, (we went from party of 8 to party of 6 then 4 and an hour into our meal, 2 showed up) ‍the staff took.it all on the chin and delivered really good service. We ordered most snacks on the menu. The tater tots with crab were the best! Chicago roll close second, bread was soo memorable! Gnocchi was very close third! Shrimp cocktail, shrimp tacos, meatballs, empanadas and tostadas were very tasty too! The steaks were fabulous! Even the half I took home and reheated! The purple cabbage side was delectable.

Bardea Steak was a nice foodie experience. Not only was the quality of the food excellent, but the staff was friendly, and they had a wide selection of food. I order several items from their menu; next time I will get a steak. However, the branzino was incredible, nicely grilled and seasoned. Oysters were fresh. I definitely recommend trying the compost oysters; they were delicious. I order several appetizers before my main meal; it was nice that they came out one by one and not all at once. ` All the drinks ordered were great. I would come again just for the drinks. My favorite was the passion espresso. Wasn't a fan of the calamari, but everything else I would recommend over and over again. The garden seating was beautiful, and I felt like I wasn't even in the middle of downtown wilmington. Can't wait to come again to try their other food selection and drinks.

I am a huge Bardea fan! I think this is one set of restaurants that can compare to restaurants in Philadelphia. This is my second time at Bardea Steak and it was a great experience BUT not as good as the first time. I do like that they have Happy Hour which allows you to try a small portion of their menu. There is even one vegetarian option on there! This time around the cocktails were just okay. They had a fruity espresso cocktail that they bartender raved about... would not get again. I tried the empanadas and they were delicious but I also got a house salad which was a big portion but it truly lacked flavor and some parts were pink. Now this time the HH menu bit me based on technicality. Classic cocktails are considered part of happy hour which are not listed in the actual menu, only signature cocktails. Something to beware of next time. Great place with incredible staff.

This was our first time art Bardea steak and it was definitely a five out of five! The atmosphere was super nice and classy, and our waiter was very very attentive. He got us water and then got our drinks for us and then came back to read off the menu and go over a few other things. We decided to go with the Aberdeen Angus in a New York strip cut and the Piedmonte's in a fillet cut. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and had the right amount of char on top. For sides, we opted for the mac & cheese and the broccoli di ciccio. The mac & cheese was absolutely amazing as was the broccoli. The broccoli had a nice kick to it from the chili, which I loved. We ended with dessert and both decided to get gelato. I got the chocolate banana and my partner got the tropical! Both delicious! This is definitely a place we plan to frequent again. I would love to come with a group of four and try the steak tasting experience.

The whole experience was fantastic! The food was amazing, and our server, Darrell, was great--so knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some excellent recommendations. I'm definitely coming back soon!

Crab gyoza was amazing and staff were nice. Even at happy hour pricing, still an expensive spot. Might possibly return for happy hour, but probably not for dinner as nothing else was very impressive.

Bardea Steak never fails to deliver. Amazing food, service, and an overall great atmosphere!

We had a great date night at Bardea Steak. The atmosphere is great. The service was great. Our waiter was new, but very knowledgeable. The food was delicious. Some of the portions are small, but the flavors are definitely there! Our only complaint was the wait. We had reservations but were in there for far too long. It took forever to get our drinks, bread, and food. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or if this is normal because no explanation was given to us.

    Delmonico and broccolini

Food was amazing. Steak (delmonico) was cooked perfect and the meatball appetizer was a great plate. Service was 5 star. Highly recommend. Inside is just right. Will definitely repeat here.

We loved our who experience at Bardea Steak for date night this week! The service was exceptional. The filet and ribeye were so tender you almost didn't even need a knife. The broccoli and the mushrooms had such captivating flavors that paired perfectly with our steaks. The cocktails and wine were perfectly paired with our meals. Would love to try more on the cocktail menu! Will definitely be back again!

Went to Bardea a few weeks ago and participated in the tasting menu. It was 10 course and each course was so unique and made with care. We did not feel rushed at all throughout the process, the waiter took his time to explain each course. The ambiance is moody and dark which is perfect for a steak house. I will definitely be going back.

They came out in a seashell. I don't know what that sauce was that they were covered in, but I wanted to drink it. I'm a ribeye person. I asked Marc should I get the tomahawk for two or the Porter house for two? He suggested if I'm a ribeye person to get the tomahawk It was cooked to perfection. My friend and I arrived a bit early for our reservation, but were quickly greeted and offered a beverage menu. Their cocktail options are creative and constantly changing, often featuring some unique foam toppers. On this particular occasion, I started with the Strawberry Kiwi Spice Margarita, which included some cardamom to add depth and warmth to the fruity drink. I also ordered the Apricot Ginger Sour, a consistent favorite bourbon cocktail with a little zing from the lemon foam on top. Both drinks were excellent. For starters, we selected a few of the fresh oysters as well as a scallop special made with a lemon beurre blanc. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and I was grateful the dish came with sourdough to sop up every last drop of that delicious beurre blanc. My entree was where things went awry. I tend toward pescetarian options and selected the lone fish on the menu that night: skate wing. My first few bites were great, though slightly oversalted. However, eventually the mouthfeel evolved into a burning, ammonia taste, and I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the dish. My friend who also had the skate wing, however, did not have that experience (and I tried a bite of hers to confirm, too!). I know skate wing can be tricky to prepare and this is a known potential issue, but it was disappointing. Luckily, dessert was fabulous once again --- we chose the coconut creme brulee which was delightful. I'm sure I'll be back. Just no skate wing for me!

Because the restaurant doesn't open until late afternoon we had the restaurant to ourselves so parking was easy and there were no distractions. The food was displayed beautifully but more importantly it tasted good. All in all, if you are looking for a place to hold an event I highly recommend The Marshallton. I thought it was priced reasonably and they really delivered. Planning an event like this isn't easy -- there's so much weight to it, wanting every detail to honor someone you love -- and this team made that possible in a way I'll always be grateful for. The decor in the room was beautiful. Soft draping along the ceiling, a gorgeous chandelier, candlelight, and floral centerpieces on every table -- it felt warm and intimate, like the space itself was wrapping its arms around all of us as we gathered to remember her. Seeing my mom's photo up on the screens around the room, surrounded by family and friends sharing stories, laughter, and tears, is something I'll never forget. The service that night was incredible. The staff moved through the room with such care, making sure everyone felt looked after, but never once making it feel like just another event. The bartenders, especially, brought such an open, easygoing energy -- they were so fun to be around, and they helped lighten the mood in a way that let us laugh and celebrate my mom's life, even amid the grief. Looking back, that mix of comfort and joy meant so much. The food was super delicious too, and in moments like this, even small things -- a warm meal, a kind smile, a drink poured with a little extra care -- mean far more than people realize. I have to give a heartfelt and BIG shoutout to Amanda, the event coordinator/manager. She was an absolute sweetheart, and her calm, caring presence made it possible for our family to actually be present in the moment instead of worrying about logistics. She made sure everything -- from the setup to the TVs and microphones working perfectly for the tributes -- ran smoothly, and her thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed by any of us. Hosting something this meaningful in a space that felt this beautiful, with people this kind, made all the difference on one of the hardest days. I am endlessly grateful to Amanda, the bartenders, and the entire team at Tonic for helping us celebrate my mom's life with so much love. I can't recommend this venue enough!!

You have to order this as a starter. They had a quail special and monkfish special the evening we were there. The birthday girl ordered the quail. Everyone - that is, - everyone but the guy paying - enjoyed their meals. My wife and I ordered the Australian Waygu steak and Lobster and included bottle of wine for 2 deal at $199. My wife cooks an excellent steak but I wanted to try Waygu and hearing the hierarchy of Waygu goes: Japan, Australia, USA I was expecting perfection. When it 1st came out it looked too rare. But again, not having Waygu before I just went with it figuring even a fair chef at steakhouse should know the proper temperature to cook this special cut of beef. What a mistake. The 1st piece I "tried" to cut into was like cutting into the bottom of my shoe. Those 1st half dozen bites I had to spit out they were so tough. The 2nd piece of the pre-sliced Waygu was still a very tough slice and very chewy. I asked my son (44) to try it and he took a piece from to other end. He could taste the difference from a ribeye or porterhouse but again, it was tough and not as expected from such a "so called" prized piece of beef. I went back and forth with myself about complaining. But, with the grandkids there, and my son giving his lukewarm evaluation, I just decided to keep my mouth shut. Maybe it was a mistake. But we will just spend our money elsewhere (like The House of William and Merry where we always have a fantastic dining experience) I will add our service was excellent. I think her name was Harrison, or something like this. She, and the staff, served us well.
