Service by David excellent. Food was good. My wife enjoyed her filet. I got the stuffed shrimp that were tasty but crab filling was mostly bread crumbs. Was not a fan of the lobster Mac n cheese because of cheese sauce and not much lobster. Crab fried rice, cheesesteak egg rolls and carrot cake were all excellent! Not crowded for a Thursday night. Prices have gone up. Overall a good experience

Came here for an impromptu date night on a Wednesday night. Were in the mood for a fancy steakhouse and we've been to other Sullivan's locations so we knew this was a good chain...except it wasn't that great. The waitress was amazing! Very friendly, nice, and checked on us a good amount. The food on the hand...subpar at best. The oysters were ok, the mashed potatoes were pretty bad, the crab fried rice? I cant even wrap my head around how mediocre that was. It was literally fried rice with plain unseasoned crab meat on top. Not even mixed in. The steaks were dry and had no flavor. Theres a better Sullivan's in KoP but i def wouldn't go to this location again.

Omg, freezing in the bar, 66°, they cant turn it up. Thermostat is locked. My side salad, filet, lobster potato were good. His chicken sandwich had an odd taste, I thought so too. They exchanged it for a burger, but did not come out with lettuce, raw onion like he wanted. Ordered it with bacon,$6. But no bacon was on it. Very odd. And it was under cooked from medium. The big thing is, no management in bar area, Omg, the 20 something staff are so loud and so immature. I wanted to love this meal but it was a bad experience. (I saw the $6 bacon price added to the bill, but he did not tell me until in car, that there wasn't bacon on it)

We went here for happy hour and had a nice hightop in the corner. Our server walked over immediately with some water and provided some great recommendations. My wife had the blueberry lemon drop martini and said it was excellent. We shared the shaved prime rib sliders, the sriracha shrimp lettuce cups and the cheesesteak eggrolls. They were all amazing. The sweet chili sauce and honey mustard for the eggrolls was new to us but so good we asked for more sauce. The sweet and spicy chili glaze was also great on the lettuce cups. The sliders come with 3 and fries. The prices were great too. Multiple people checked on us even though our server took great care of us. The bar area is nice with a couple of televisions and good seating. We will come back for dinner but our happy hour experience was great and the food we tasted was excellent.

Nice card and petals with your choice of dessert!

Overcooked! Had to send the filet mignon back-- they failed medium rare! You could tell when they brought out-- just the top was overcooked. The charbroiled oysters were also overcooked-- the cheese was so hard! Tiny poor oyster dried out. Fortunately the manager stopped by and got a proper steak made. What a shame. Fortunately the manager stopped by and got a proper steak made. But loved what they do for the birthday!

All my years living in Delaware and it took me coming back home to Philly to finally get to Sullivans in Wilmington. I am not a big frequenter of steakhouses because I don't eat much steak but I was invited to a happy hour at their bar where the food options looked pretty damn good. The ambience and decor here are is very nice. The bar is spacious with plenty of seating and moody lighting. The staff so friendly and attentive. I started with a Hibiscus Cosmopolitan that I found delightful. For my meal I had the crab cakes with a side of caesar salad. Both were good. Someone in my group shared their fries with me but I didn't like them. They weren't crispy or flavorful. The only other negative is it was not happy hour after all on a Friday night so two cosmos and the crab cakes were full price just so you know.

Yes. Have seen many families in the main dining room.

Do I need a reservation for tonight around 5:30 pm?

I would specifically ask for a booth for 2or 4. It's easy online.

The rabbit poutine was very good. The meat was tender and we loved the fries with the cheese curds. The tartine was tasty and we liked the whipped ricotta. The bread & butter came out warm and we loved the cultured butter. For our entrees we ordered the steak frites, crab ravioli, and the half rack of lamb. The steak frites were a very large portion and cooked perfectly, and we loved the crunchy fries. The crab ravioli was delicious and we also loved the clams. The Lamb was also prepared perfectly but we didn't care for the seasoning. For dessert we had pistachio brûlée and sour cherry ice cream. The ice cream and brûlée were very good and the brûlée was large enough for both of us. It would be five stars, however, the cocktails took a while and we were not informed the butter for the steak frites would be an additional $6 and $9 dollars. The entrees were already $44. The restaurant is beautiful, and the service was excellent. We loved our bottle of Cab Franc and also the Amuse-Bouche. Our daughter also enjoyed her comped birthday dessert. We will be back again for happy hour!

My daughter and I loved the Gondola Ride with citrus vodka and limoncello. It was a refreshing, summertime drink. For the 3-course price fixed, we tried the lasagna noodle soup which was unique and delicious. My corn cappellacci (not on the price-fixed menu) was a new entree. The pasta was light and airy, and the corn and shrimp made it a tasty dish perfect for a summer night. For dessert, the gelato twist with banana was heavenly. Our lovely server even made sure to put a birthday candle in our daughter's dessert as it was her birthday. We'll be back!

The bartenders are the heart of the experience. They don't just pour drinks; they create them. There's real skill and artistry behind the bar, and the conversation is as good as the cocktails. You can tell they care about balance, technique, and presentation. The Walk in the Garden gin cocktail is the perfect example: bright, layered flavors, premium ingredients, and that lavender garnish that hits your nose before the first sip. The scent alone sets the stage for the drink. It's thoughtful, elegant, and exactly what a craft cocktail should be. The food holds its own right alongside the drinks. The skillet meatballs come out tender and full of flavor, the kind of dish that disappears faster than you expect. The potato skins are crisp, satisfying, and exactly what you want with a cocktail in hand. And the homemade Baileys cheesecake is the kind of dessert you plan to share but end up guarding with your fork. It's rich without being heavy, with that unmistakable homemade touch. One of the best parts of Hummingbird to Mars is the tapas-style menu. You can eat as much or as little as you want, a couple of small plates with drinks, or a full progression from appetizers to dessert. It gives you the freedom to shape the night however you want, without committing to oversized entrées or predictable bar food. And that's the bigger point: places like this don't happen by accident. They come from creativity, risk-taking, and a commitment to doing things well. If we don't support small businesses that put this level of care into their craft, we'll be left with nothing but the same chains serving the same menus everywhere you go. Hummingbird to Mars is the antidote to that; personal, inventive, and genuinely memorable. From the first sip to the last bite, it's a place that delivers an experience, not just a night out. It's worth supporting, worth returning to, and worth celebrating.
