I ordered my dinner take out on Valentines Day and let me tell you the meal was perfetc! I ordered the filet with roasted garlic butter and it was cooked medium well juicy and succulent melt in your mouth not over seasoned to perfection!! A baked potato and asparagus. Everything was just deliciousIy on point. I also had the Sydney Shrooms, aka fried mushrooms which came highly recommended and they also did not disappoint. I did have to reheat the mushrooms in the air fryer because the moisture from the packaging but that was to be expected with carry out fried food. They reheated nicely and taste so damn good and flavorful, I will definitely order from Outback Steakhouse Possum Park Newark De again. I was highly impressed. Last night my friend and I went here for dinner. We wanted something special. He ordered the NY Strip steak. I ordered a Ribeye. When they hot to our table they both were unrecognizable. His was flat and thin with 2 little bones in it. Mine was thin and scorched with so much fat in it you could barely find and meat, not to mention it was doused with salt. Both of these dinners cost almost $30 each. Both were disgusting and unappetizing. I would not recommend eating here ever. We will never return and will recommend many other places to eat other than here. Never in my life have I had a worse dining experience. My husband and I chose this restaurant because of the reviews, and we've both never been. Celebrating my birthday. We were seated right away. It was a very large crowd of ppl who were also celebrating a birthday and I wanted to run my anxiety does not allow me to do large crowds. Instead of sitting across from my husband I sat next to him. The server Joey D. was awesome. The food was delicious and the bread looked burnt but it was the opposite very soft and one of the best breads I've ever tasted. Let me start by saying that I rarely leave reviews but this warranted it. The service is terrible. My husband and I went in on a slow Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm. There were two hosts, and at least 5 servers, but only a few tables were seated. We waited 15 mins and no one came to take our drink order so I notified the hostess. We waited another 10 minutes or so before deciding to leave because no one had come. This means we had been there 20-30 minutes without drinks or food and we didn't even know who our server was. This Outback location was phenomenal in their service! We had errands to run in Delaware and needed to eat. We live in Philadelphia so indoor dining is more restricted than Delaware. I was nervous about where we were seated. The manager, Hannah Formica, stopped to check on us. Knowing I was anxious she found us better seating then checked on us several times. She also gave us a free appetizer coupon for a return visit. Hannah and our waitress made us feel comfortable and a lot less anxious. I appreciated this so much during this crazy pandemic! We like Outback because the food is consistently good. The steaks were cooked the way we requested. The seasoning used gives the steak good flavor although a little salty. The baked potatoes are a good size. A vegetable is also included. I like the salad because the lettuce, tomato and cukes are crisp. The house dressing is very good! The other thing about Outback is the cocktails! There is a good selection of cocktails for under $10 with at least 5 for $6 The cocktails are tasty too! Got take out tonight. So disappointed. Food was horrible. My husband got the Prime Rib sandwich. It was dry, tasteless and didn't even fill the roll it was in. I had the Queensland pasta and was supposed to get chicken in it with veggies. It came without the chicken. Asked for extra sauce and it didn't even have any to start with and all the pasta was stuck together and hard. It also had no taste. It's usually a little spice to it. Also got 2 house salads with ranch dressing. Again horrible. Ranch was just mayo. Not the usual spice in it at all. Oh my son did like his Blooming Burger. Hurray. For $66 it was a horrible meal. I came in here around six o'clock on a Monday and the place was about half full but it felt packed. I ordered a Blackberry Martini- one of the featured drinks from Outbacks happy hour menu, and I found the taste soft, fruitful, and seductive. It wasn't exceptional strong but that's what you have to expect from a signature family restaurant like Outback. After that I tried the Kiwi-Rita, another signature cocktail featured on their happy hour menu. I was much more please with this drink than the last one. I found the taste to be kiwi sweet and it had the perfect amount of alcohol to taste. What I will say about Outback is that they are very giving. They give bar patrons shot sized sample glasses of all of their beers. So nice. As for food I got the coconut shrimp.
