My wife and I had the pleasure at dining at Outback Steakhouse (1574 N. Dupont Hwy, Dover, DE) Outback in Dover de, on Friday night. So much so that we decided to call Dover Pd so we could explain how much we enjoyed ourselves! As we were finishing up our meals , we witnessed a gentleman that had been sitting at the bar . Aggressively taking to a female manager. It progressively got worse to the point where he was using derogatory remarks and threatening the manager. My wife decided to step in and say something, which I fully supported. She yelled "shut up don't talk to her like that get the f out of here" he turned around and said what? wtf bitch to my wife.. so now I'm up out of my seat. The servers and bartenders escorted him outside where he continued to make hand jesters etc twords us . Stayed outside 10 min while we waited for Dover Pd. Once they arrived they spoke to both parties .. us and him. Not the women he abused.. just us and him. They made him leave and then came in to talk to us. We asked if he was being detained , they said no and didn't give us the chance press any charges..In fact their response was ..he's not getting arrested and they (Outback) want you to leave. Meaning outback management. lol of course they did. I failed to Mention during this whole excursion the assistant manger come up and gave us $50 in gift cards "while she was shaking" , which we politely declined. Then the manager came and asked us to move to the lobby because WE were causing a scene. we did not move. Lobby was closer to the crazy bf. Also while this was happening the bartender approached my wife and said " I'd appreciate if you tone it down that's my BF" !!! OMG come to find out outback In dover is used to this, and this isn't the first time. shocker. I feel bad for the gf she's obviously abused. Basically if the restaurant wanted to press trespassing charges he would have went to jail but they elected not to. SMH. Cause they know him. It's not the first or last time. First visit to this restaurant but it certainly won't be our last. The ambience is so nice and mellow whereas Texas Roadhouse is unbearably noisy. Our waitress Dylan was server perfection. Having managed a very busy restaurant I know what I'm talking about. Dylan made appropriate suggestions with knowledge about the food but without being pushy. After all the waitstaff is there to sell the food and beverage, not just take your order and plop it down in front of you. She was friendly, professional and charming. The food was prompt and cooked to perfection. I had the filet mignon and hubs had the prime rib. Both were perfectly cooked and the flavor was awesome. I had a blood orange martini that was the best martini I've ever had. We met Otis, the manager on duty to let him know that our meal was delicious and more importantly, let him know that Dylan is a "keeper" . I listened as she greeted and spoke to other diners around us and she was just as delightful with them as she was with us. Otis was friendly and professional and very approachable. He did not make us feel like we needed to hurry up and say our piece as I know that he most likely had a hundred other things to do. And the dessert was to die for! A huge pecan brownie served warm with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. I really wanted to lick the plate clean!! All in all our visit was so enjoyable we can't wait to go back. read more

This place sucks ass I seen a server drop something on the floor pick it up put it back on the plate and serve it to the guest I also overheard them saying everybody in here is sick so that means the f****** customers are going to get sick I don't think this place is going to last they need a health inspection the food is not even that great for the expense that they charge you can go elsewhere for less money and be way more happy this is a fake ass place trying to be boujee and if you notice it's all one color basically in the front if you know what I mean time wasted don't waste your money eating at this place the decor is nice but food sucks service sucks read more

This was our second time at this location and we were very happy both times. They were extremely busy, but our wait was only 10 minutes. During our wait we were given blossom samples and a nice waiting area! Both visits afforded us very good meals; tasty, properly cooked, nice presentations, and correct temperatures. Our waitress was exemplary! Her name is Ashley J. and we will request her the next time we visit. She was very polite, made sure she recorded the order as we staed, and returned often to "check". We had fresh drink refills without having to find someone to make such a request. We will be back!! read more

Our server Ashley was very attentive, would never let my drink get empty, talked to my two young boys and they loved her. My kids had all sorts of demands for crackers, fruit, milk and tea that Ashley was more than happy to accommodate. The food was delicious, I had the 3-point Bloomin' Onion which had wonderfully seasoned cubes of steak, gooey cheese fries, and their signature Bloomin' Onion. The management staff and the owner address any concerns face to face and will go above and beyond to make you happy. My family will definitely be going back real soon! read more

We came fairly late on Friday night and Crystal was our waitress. Despite surely being tired from a long day, she was energetic, efficient and friendly. She made our dining experience a great one. Our soups weren't brought out before our meal arrived so Crystal offered to bring them to us ASAP or even package them to go. One of the lovely managers also visited our table and apologized for the soup tragedy too. Mistakes happen, it's how they are handled that makes a difference. Our food was fantastic. Very good first time experience and that 22oz ribeye is serious. So good. Our server Otis was the bomb. He went above and beyond. Will return for sure. The wings we got were some of the best I have had in a long time. They were not loaded with breading and nasty buffalo sauce. The steaks were prepared properly and even reheating them they were still tender and juicy. Great Job Outback. Definitely hope you guys can keep it up. Outback is amazing I always request leighann as my server and she just rocks my socks off. She reminds me to use dine rewards she never forgets my drink. The food is amazing and the management is wonderful. The restaurant is decorated beautifully really focusing on the Australian environment. The lighting is great and the music won't leave u with a headache like a different crappier roadhouse I won't mention names. The atmosphere is so relaxing it's perfect for a calm dinner. Our favorite waitress, Brittany Schaffer, is always ready and willing to meet our needs. As regular customers, my husband and I visit the Dover Outback at least once a week and sometimes more. We always request Brittany. She anticipates our order and has it ready without hesitation. Whenever we have a problem, Brittany makes everything right. The grilled salmon is my favorite. As a couple who dines out regularly, we know a good waitress, and Brittany is one of best! read more

Christina is the best server!! I have been here several times since they opened and am amazed at how well the service staff was trained for the opening. Christina (my favorite server) remembers me by name and reminds me to use my Dine Rewards, as well as my usual sides and drinks . My steak was cooked exactly the way I wanted it and I was surprised at how much i liked the mash potatoes. Carol my server was awesome guy, never left us unattended and checked up on our table as much as needed, joked around and gave my parents and I a good laugh. Best steakhouse in Delaware hands down. Very friendly staff and the Managers came by to make sure everything was great. I didnt get the servers name but the manager Kassi was very nice and the manager David found out it was our first visit and left his buisness card and the owners card and gave us a free app. Now thats hospitality. read more
