Actually, the main waiter was awesome. Wish I had gotten his name as his service was very attentive. Drinks, appetizers, and meals came out promptly, and all the food was cooked well and to any customizations. Had one person in the party with a coconut allergy, and the waiter came out and said the fries she ordered could actually be cross-contaminated from the fryer and suggested a different side. The food was good. Typical of what you would expect to get at an Outback Steakhouse. The waiter was very courteous. The staff were nice. The restaurant has nice lighting and seating. The reservations are NOT reservations. We had reservations for 5:30. Arrived at 5:15 and were told that the wait would be forty five minutes. I stood because the waiting area was jammed with people. I starred at an empty table inside the bar area for forty five minutes. I asked about the bar area seating and was told that it is regular seating. Go figure we sat at that very empty table. Came up for dinner at 5:41 pm. Sat at the bar. Ordered a beer for myself and a hard seltzer for my girl friend. Got the beer and gave her a regular seltzer with ice. Excellent service. In addition to our meals with had house salad and a Cesar salad as one of our sides. We each had a 6 oz sirloin, 2 were medium rare and one was medium. The medium steak was tough and had grizzle, the shrimp was cooked just fine. The other 2 steaks were good. The meal presentation left a lot to be desired. Especially the steak with the Alice Spring chicken. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu. To be fair I didn't get a baked potato, but the plate could have been wiped off and the meal could have been more balanced on the plate. It tasted fine just not pretty to look at. Overall it was a good meal. The other item I noticed was the chairs are starting to get a little wobbly. It's only a matter of time before a chair gives out on a customer. I had such a great dinner and experience at this Outback Steakhouse location with my girlfriend. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday night and there was about a 40 minute wait. The manager was walking around and very engaged asking people how long they were waiting and trying to get everyone seated as quickly as possible. Once seated, we had warm bread and drinks come out quickly. The blueberry lavender cocktail was absolutely DELICIOUS and only $7! We ordered the ribs appetizer which did take quite a while to come out. The manager came over to us to apologize about the wait and took it off the bill. The food also took a little while to come out but we were getting full off bread and apps so the time in between was helpful to be ready for the entrees. I got a gift card for Christmas. We added our names to the list. Ahead of time online but , we didn't need to they weren't that busy!! I'm very pleased with this restaurant. The blooming onion was very good!! I even enjoyed the bloom sauce!! The salad was not dressed "right" the top of the salad didn't have enough dressing and the bottom had to much. I even mixed it around a little bit. I was still to much and not enough. The steak was good as well it was a like more cooked then I "normally" like it but surprisingly it was good!! Arrived to this Outback about 7:45 pm after a long day of work. Sat at the bar and asked for a menu which I promptly received. 2 other people at the bar and 3 booths around bar with couples so not crowded. Bartender got around to asking me what I wanted to eat but stood at the cash register and called over to me (I was on opposite side) what I wanted to order. Bloomin burger, no cheese and Med Well. What I got was a blooming burger with cheese, Med Rare. Never came to ask was everything fine. Too busy scrolling thru her cellphone. Washed the greasy burger down with their beer and left. I can't comment on inside service because we did curb-side pickup which worked very, very well. I called in the order from Trader Joe's parking lot and was told the meals would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to Clifton Park exactly 20 minutes later and the young woman was at my car about 1 minute later. I bet it was only 7 or 8 minutes until my food was brought to me and the bill was paid. What a safe, fast, and efficient transaction! We splurged with our Christmas gift cards and ordered filet mignon - one 6 and one 8 ounce. One of the steaks plus its sides had to be strictly gluten free. So far it seems that they succeeded in meeting the gf requirements. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that we recently had steak from a Saratoga Springs restaurant and it was superior. Don't get me wrong; our steaks were very tasty and tender. The sides were fine, too. It's just that our recent experience with a competing steak knocked this order down one notch. I can't name one negative. We had a very good meal with excellent service in these pandemic times. One suggestion to readers: Despite using take-out or curb-side, don't forget to tip. At 5 on a Friday night we barely beat the 'rush' but I was impressed with the friendliness, cheerfulness and helpfulness of the hostess and greeting staff. Our waitress, Ciara M, was far and above the best server we've had at a restaurant in a long time. I probably would have given the food 3-4 stars, but Ciara made our experience that much better. Always attentive, friendly, and even apologized for a wait [which I had not yet noted]. Sad to see the Bloomin Onion Petals are no more- We're 2 old people and it seemed a waste to work on a huge onion- but we did our best. :-) I had the Tazmanian Scallops & Shrimp and though there was an abundance of cheesey, spicy Fettuccine Alfredo- there was barely a serving of scallops & shrimp. The experience that I had here at the outback steakhouse was a decent one and I just want to say that overall the experiences that I had here were pleasant. You check in through the app when you get there or you can go in and check in and get on a wait list and then you wait in your vehicle until you are called in to be seated. When we got into the restaurant we were seated and our order was taken it did seem like it took a long time to complete the order but it was not horrible. There was a couple things wrong with the meal but not overly wrong, I ordered a prime rib sandwich which came with a side and then you could add on a soup for $3.99 so the waitress told me the different soups that they had and mentioned the French onion soup and it's something that I had not had in quite some time so I requested that one she charged me the full $6.99 for the soup and I did not realize that until after we had left the restaurant but it is what it is in the end though it should have been the $3.99 but if it was explained to me that it wasn't part of the addition that I would not have gotten it. Also when the soup came to my table it did not resemble the soup that I'm used to with the French onion soup now it did have the French onion soup inside and it did have the cheese on top but the cheese was just a blob in the center it was not blanketed over the top of the bowl so that it would keep the heat in and melt the cheese so I needed to do that myself by dipping the cheese into the soup in order to melt it the flavor of the soup was good though but it did not look like it was made correctly. I will say this the sandwich was epic I will tell you without a doubt if you ever go to the outback steakhouse try that prime rib sandwich it comes with a french onion dip and horseradish mayonnaise that you put on the sandwich and then when you dip it into the French onion dip, oh my goodness!! you're transported into another world with flavor! My wife truly enjoyed her meal which was the appetizer coconut shrimp and then we also had a blooming onion which was a little overdone but not horrible. Such poor quality food I couldn't eat it. NY strip steak was tough, almost inedible. Not overcooked but clearly a very cheap piece of meat. The staff was clearly uninterested in their job and from the looks of the entire place, that is the norm there. The table was sticky and it just grossed me out. Absolutely worst service I have ever had. We had a small party and we called ahead of time to reserve our table and explained we were paying four different ways. From the time we ordered to the time the food hit our table it was over one hour. Everyone's food and plates were cold. The manager seemed not to care and only offered a small discount.
