Reasonable pricing and the steak was so good. The waitress was new, but attentive and friendly.

Let me start by saying Outback Steakhouse is our favorite chain steakhouse, and we have been going to Outback for years, and never had a bad experience until we went to this location. It was early evening, the restaurant was not busy, and there was no wait to get in. We were able to tell by how long it took the server to greet us that service was going to be slow. When our appetizer came out, I asked if we could get our salads now. Our server said, "No problem. I'll be right back." That took 17 minutes. My wife and I ordered our steaks medium well. When our food arrived, I cut my steak and I said to our server, "What does this look like?" He said medium rare. I said it looks more like medium raw. What did I order? He said medium well. " I'll send them back and have them recooked." He then dropped off our recooked steaks. I cut them again, and I then asked for a manager. My steak was well done, but I decided I was not waiting any longer and eat it. My wife's steak was so overcooked,it was dried out and not edible. I showed it to the manager, and she agreed that it was way overcooked. She took my wife's meal off the bill. The server then came over and asked if she wanted her steak wrapped to take home. I said, "If it's unedible now, do you actually think we're gonna bring it home and reheat it and then eat it?" I ordered a dessert to go, and asked for my check. Of course, he brought the dessert out on a plate, so now I had to wait for him to get a container to make it to go. During our one-hour and 35-minute visit, my wife ended up having some of our appetizer,a salad, and no entrée. Unfortunately, I have to give one star, but this location deserves no stars. read more

Went on a Friday night recently with a party of 12 for my son's birthday. Took a few minutes and the manager fit us in. The waiter had another waiter shadowing him that night. Actually, the main waiter was awesome. Wish I had gotten his name as his service was very attentive. Drinks, appetizers, and meals came out promptly, and all the food was cooked well and to any customizations. Had one person in the party with a coconut allergy, and the waiter came out and said the fries she ordered could actually be cross-contaminated from the fryer and suggested a different side. Overall a very good dinner. Would definitely go back again. read more

Awesome service and steaks were cooked perfectly, everything came out in a timely fashion.

One of the best experiences I have had at an Outbacks. I was introduced to the Toomba sauce and just wow! Flavorful with shrimp, mushroom and sauce to die for. Now the accounting major Alex is one of those gem that is dedicated in whatever he does and, in my opinion, would be a very successful realtor. Just me! He convinced me to buy a dessert and I caved. There went my diet. Just a great experience and remember if we don't support your grubberies, we will both starve. read more

I am sure the food would have been great if our waitress would stop doing blow and actually do her job. Food was cold and service sucked! Got a response back with contact outback.com/contact. That doesn't exist. More proof Outback Steakhouse sucks read more

Our waiter was a good guy. He tried so hard. We were there for 2 hours and left with a "free" carrot cake. Our food took over an hour plus and it was cooked until all the flavor was gone. We never send things back, but back it went. We were told the manager would stop by, we never saw her. There was a Litany of reasons as to why everything went the way it did. But bottom line it was bad food and bad service with no managerial response. read more

This Outback is always busy for a reason, the food is delicious and the service is good. We always have a great time at Outback.

Poor service. Spent 5 minutes at the bar, one of 2 bartenders had time to ask if I wanted to have dinner to which I said yes, but failed to deliver a menu. Also, multiple children seated at bar to dine. Is that even legal? Terrible! read more

The food was good. Typical of what you would expect to get at an Outback Steakhouse. The waiter was very courteous. The staff were nice. The restaurant has nice lighting and seating. The reservations are NOT reservations. We had reservations for 5:30. Arrived at 5:15 and were told that the wait would be forty five minutes. I stood because the waiting area was jammed with people. I starred at an empty table inside the bar area for forty five minutes. I asked about the bar area seating and was told that it is regular seating. Go figure we sat at that very empty table. So that was unfortunate. Forty five minutes for an empty table. If you don't mind waiting this is the place for you. read more

Family of three came in around 9:15 on Saturday. House music was blaring outside. Stood by hostess station for ten minutes. Three employees and the bartender made eye contact with me but never acknowledged me. Wife went to use the ladies room and saw three staff members in there on their phone. Left w/o ever being acknowledged. If you don't want to seat people after 9, don't advertise you're open until 10. read more

Came up for dinner at 5:41 pm. Sat at the bar. Ordered a beer for myself and a hard seltzer for my girl friend. Got the beer and gave her a regular seltzer with ice. The people at the end of the bar said their service was horrible and steaks had to be sent back 3 times. I'd like to blame this place specifically but it seems like no one can get it right. I tell you what though. If your bartender had multi hair n over weight then she probably is only there cuz no one else will hire her read more

Excellent service. In addition to our meals with had house salad and a Cesar salad as one of our sides. We each had a 6 oz sirloin, 2 were medium rare and one was medium. The medium steak was tough and had grizzle, the shrimp was cooked just fine. The other 2 steaks were good. The meal presentation left a lot to be desired. Especially the steak with the Alice Spring chicken. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu. To be fair I didn't get a baked potato, but the plate could have been wiped off and the meal could have been more balanced on the plate. It tasted fine just not pretty to look at. Overall it was a good meal. The other item I noticed was the chairs are starting to get a little wobbly. It's only a matter of time before a chair gives out on a customer. The meals were a 3, but the good service raised it up to a 4. We will go back, their salads are good, and the service is always friendly. read more

The porterhouse and filet minion while ordered medium rare was served well done . They got the sides wrong also. Beer was cold and tasty.

Depending on your taste and your time to wait for your dinner even with a reservation. Made a reservation for 6 pm we were on time a early but during a not so busy dinner service and lack luster energy waited for a table for a additional 40 minutes then dinner offerings were presented by a good server but when delivered were cold and no silverware was available to us, then way too much salt, hard and undercooked Brussels sprouts salmon was served well but the blooming chicken dinner was just a battered mess and way overcooked, we passed on dessert due to time constraints pushing 9 pm but when your obligation to finishing dinner is now a quest, who leaves during a quest for a meal that includes 8 of us together? read more

I had such a great dinner and experience at this Outback Steakhouse location with my girlfriend. We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday night and there was about a 40 minute wait. We quickly realized that we should've called ahead to put our names on the list but we were fine waiting. The manager was walking around and very engaged asking people how long they were waiting and trying to get everyone seated as quickly as possible. Once seated, we had warm bread and drinks come out quickly. The blueberry lavender cocktail was absolutely DELICIOUS and only $7! We ordered the ribs appetizer which did take quite a while to come out. The manager came over to us to apologize about the wait and took it off the bill. The food also took a little while to come out but we were getting full off bread and apps so the time in between was helpful to be ready for the entrees. The steak and shrimp were delicious and well-seasoned. The bloomin onion chicken was also crispy and tasty. Overall we had a great time and the atmosphere was also very lively! read more

I think the bartender's name should've been Houdini because she will be there one moment and all of a sudden she disappear and not reappear for 20 minutes later. I got a gift card for Christmas. We added our names to the list. Ahead of time online but , we didn't need to they weren't that busy!! I'm very pleased with this restaurant. The blooming onion was very good!! I even enjoyed the bloom sauce!! The salad was not dressed "right" the top of the salad didn't have enough dressing and the bottom had to much. I even mixed it around a little bit. I was still to much and not enough. The steak was good as well it was a like more cooked then I "normally" like it but surprisingly it was good!! The waitress was nice it was her first day. Was was one point! She cleaned the dishes in a timely manner!! I enjoy the music they were playing. My husband enjoyed the Soccer game (football game) that was on the tv he could see! Overall I really enjoyed going to this restaurant!!! Thank you out back. read more

The service of waitress Ava on 6/27/24 at this Clifton Park,NY Outback restaurant was very slow, most rude and unprofessional and the food taste was just fair. When I asked to speak with the manager because of waitress Ava's nasty and slow service, a worker sent the cook out to tell me that Ava was the best waitress and that he was cooking and making our food order. This was the worst dinner and service experience ever at a restaurant I've ever had. Truly read more

I can't comment on inside service because we did curb-side pickup which worked very, very well. I called in the order from Trader Joe's parking lot and was told the meals would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to Clifton Park exactly 20 minutes later and the young woman was at my car about 1 minute later. I bet it was only 7 or 8 minutes until my food was brought to me and the bill was paid. What a safe, fast, and efficient transaction! We splurged with our Christmas gift cards and ordered filet mignon - one 6 and one 8 ounce. One of the steaks plus its sides had to be strictly gluten free. So far it seems that they succeeded in meeting the gf requirements. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that we recently had steak from a Saratoga Springs restaurant and it was superior. Don't get me wrong; our steaks were very tasty and tender. The sides were fine, too. It's just that our recent experience with a competing steak knocked this order down one notch. I can't name one negative. We had a very good meal with excellent service in these pandemic times. One suggestion to readers: Despite using take-out or curb-side, don't forget to tip. These folks are having a tough time and deserve to earn a fair living. And if you use gift cards, base the tip on the original total, not the total after the cards are deducted. read more

Arrived to this Outback about 7:45 pm after a long day of work. Sat at the bar and asked for a menu which I promptly received. 2 other people at the bar and 3 booths around bar with couples so not crowded. Bartender got around to asking me what I wanted to eat but stood at the cash register and called over to me (I was on opposite side) what I wanted to order. Bloomin burger, no cheese and Med Well. What I got was a blooming burger with cheese, Med Rare. Never came to ask was everything fine. Too busy scrolling thru her cellphone. Washed the greasy burger down with their beer and left. No wonder I havent been to an Outback in 15-20 years....awful! Will be another 20 years before I go back! Teach hospitality people true service or watch your business twindle away. read more

Well, I'll be darned (lol) the Wallaby Darned is more than just a clever pun, it's also a spin on the classic peach bellini and is only available on the Outback drink menu. I gave this a 5-star because it's always what I expect from them. A nice calm atmosphere with a good wait staff. Time to get food is always relevant to how busy, but seems to fly by. Drinks are pretty good when the male bar tender is on, and I always get the blooming onion. My wife loves it, I could do without but the zesty sauce is on point. The prices vary but relatively cheap, and I would compare to a chain like Double O or Texas Roadhouse. read more

The experience that I had here at the outback steakhouse was a decent one and I just want to say that overall the experiences that I had here were pleasant. You check in through the app when you get there or you can go in and check in and get on a wait list and then you wait in your vehicle until you are called in to be seated. When we got into the restaurant we were seated and our order was taken it did seem like it took a long time to complete the order but it was not horrible. There was a couple things wrong with the meal but not overly wrong, I ordered a prime rib sandwich which came with a side and then you could add on a soup for $3.99 so the waitress told me the different soups that they had and mentioned the French onion soup and it's something that I had not had in quite some time so I requested that one she charged me the full $6.99 for the soup and I did not realize that until after we had left the restaurant but it is what it is in the end though it should have been the $3.99 but if it was explained to me that it wasn't part of the addition that I would not have gotten it. Also when the soup came to my table it did not resemble the soup that I'm used to with the French onion soup now it did have the French onion soup inside and it did have the cheese on top but the cheese was just a blob in the center it was not blanketed over the top of the bowl so that it would keep the heat in and melt the cheese so I needed to do that myself by dipping the cheese into the soup in order to melt it the flavor of the soup was good though but it did not look like it was made correctly. I will say this the sandwich was epic I will tell you without a doubt if you ever go to the outback steakhouse try that prime rib sandwich it comes with a french onion dip and horseradish mayonnaise that you put on the sandwich and then when you dip it into the French onion dip, oh my goodness!! you're transported into another world with flavor! My wife truly enjoyed her meal which was the appetizer coconut shrimp and then we also had a blooming onion which was a little overdone but not horrible. But overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who would want to come for a dining experience. Thank you so much for listening. read more

At 5 on a Friday night we barely beat the 'rush' but I was impressed with the friendliness, cheerfulness and helpfulness of the hostess and greeting staff. Our waitress, Ciara M, was far and above the best server we've had at a restaurant in a long time. I probably would have given the food 3-4 stars, but Ciara made our experience that much better. Always attentive, friendly, and even apologized for a wait [which I had not yet noted]. Sad to see the Bloomin Onion Petals are no more- We're 2 old people and it seemed a waste to work on a huge onion- but we did our best. :-) I had the Tazmanian Scallops & Shrimp and though there was an abundance of cheesey, spicy Fettuccine Alfredo- there was barely a serving of scallops & shrimp. They were, however cooked nicely. Companion had the steak and shrimp and was pleased with her offering. We brought the TimTam Brownie cake home with us and it did not disappoint. read more
