    Badly needs to be recovered.

So, I do want to say that this place did have awesome food for what we got! We were a party of four couples, and one of the people in our party, It was their birthday. The restaurant offers, free wings, and steamed clams for the birthday person. After we put our tables together for the eight of us, our waitress took our drink orders. The person who had the birthday wanted only 10 hot wings for themselves. He said we could get whatever else we wanted for his free order. So we ordered 20 wings and 20 steamed clams. I ordered fish and chips for my meal and the rest of the table ordered 2 pizzas and an eggplant appetizer. Our waitress returned to tell us there were no longer any more fish for the fish and chips, so I decided to change my order to an appetizer of calamari. She left and returned a few minutes later, and said that the toppings for one of the pizzas were not available, and asked if we could decide on something else. It's been about an hour now and so far we only received our 20 wings and 20 steamed clams then about a half hour after that the eggplant and calamari arrived. The birthday boy did not receive his 10 hot wings yet. We inquired when the rest of the order would be out and she said shortly. After two hours of waiting, we noticed the chef was just preparing our pizzas. ( the pizza grill is basically in the restaurant area) it appeared the chef was creating pizzas - so we asked him if those were our pizzas he was working on and he said yes. Now mind you, there was only about six other people in the restaurant all seated at the bar. We were the only table seated. We discussed at our table about the pizzas and told him it's been two hours so never mind just give us our bill please. The birthday wings NEVER came, the pizzas NEVER came! So for a party of eight we shared 20 Steamed clams, 20 wings, and 2 small appetizers!! Needless to say we won't be going back there - so disappointed that a restaurant has no food!!

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. We had sandwiches: a Grilled Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with Muenster and a Turkey Club on toasted sour dough with cheddar. Fresh gourmet tomatoes and crisp bib lettuce were nice touches. French Fries were hot the way we like them. The menu included a variety of salads and appetizers in addition to a nice selection of entrees. Our server was excellent. We will go back soon. Used a Groupon.

My wife had a hankering for some pizza as we were leaving Saratoga for Clifton Park. As we looked at the menu for Seven Bistro we noticed that it included pizza. Our previous visits there were enjoyable so we set our sights on heading there. The parking lot was relatively filled (it is also a hotel) so we were surprised that no one was in the dining room at dinner time on a sunny Saturday evening. There were a couple of tables with customers on their patio. I decided to commemorate the Shmaltz Brewery's 4th anniversary, which they had celebrated today, by ordering a pint of their Slingshot while my wife had a Druther's IPA ($6 each). Both went well with the excellent old blues music that was being piped in. The pizzas are about 10" personal size, so we decided to order a couple of apps also. My wife had the Mediterranean Salad ($13) and I got a cup of the Tuscan Soup ($4/$7 bowl). The salad had some nice flavors from the tabbouleh, feta cheese, hummus, Kalamata olives, cucumber, grape tomatoes, and pita chips with fresh mixed greens. But it was dry. My wife requested some oil and vinegar and found that improved it significantly. The Tuscan soup was bursting with flavor and chock full of sausage, potato, onion and spinach. The toasted and buttered slices of baguette on the side were delicious too. For our pizzas we decided upon the Miale and the Seven Special ($12 each). The Miale was our favorite with a combination of pepperoni, bacon, prosciutto, and onions. Not mentioned on the menu, but also on the pizza was a bit of tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. The crust is a very thin one, so thin that the edge became like a cracker. The bottom of the pizza was a golden brown from the gas oven that it is cooked in. The Seven Special pizza was possibly a mistake from the kitchen. A mistake that we did not realize until I started to write this review and looked again at the menu. The Seven Special is described as being topped with prosciutto, arugula, fresh squeezed lemon, and mozzarella. The entire crust of this pizza was like a cracker. Not just the outer edge, but even to the center. Also, as you attempted to pull the slices apart, the topping fell off the pizza. Note that I said "fell off" the pizza and not "slid off" the pizza. You see, there was nothing to hold the toppings to the pizza. It was not until I read the menu again at home that I realized that our pizza never had any mozzarella on it. Now, the toppings that were there were delicious. In fact, with three slices left, my wife ate some of the prosciutto and arugula with her fork and I added the rest of it to my last slice of the Miale. Yum, that was good. We did mention to the chef on our way out that we thought the Seven Special needed some further thought by the kitchen since the toppings were falling off. Too bad we hadn't realized at that point that the mozzarella was missing. Otherwise, service was friendly and responsive and as I said at the beginning, the background blues music is really good.

Yum! The app I ordered was sweet chili calamari and it was amazing! The entree I ordered was a mufaletta pizza and that was just delicious! The manager Kim was extremely friendly and welcoming :)

I really like The Flats in Clifton Park. I've been here several times for dinner and lunch, along with their Christmas breakfast and Mother's Day buffet brunches. Their buffets are excellent. They're around $50 per adult and about $20 for kids, and in my opinion they're worth it if you enjoy a good brunch buffet. Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. There were so many desserts I couldn't possibly name them all, but some included chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse pie, Oreo mousse pie, mini cheesecake cupcakes, and plenty of other goodies. I will say the chocolate mousse pie tasted good but was a little gritty in texture. I love me some chocolate mousse pie ordinarily but today I actually preferred the Oreo mousse pie. That being said everything is all you can eat, and it's all very good. It was extremely busy today, which was expected, but service was still excellent. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars

My friend picked a fall apple spice martini and I went classic bloody Mary. The martini was a bit too sweet. Perhaps less sugar rim and a half rim on the glass and no proseco. Im unsure of the correct recipe bc it wasnt my cocktail! My bloody wasn't spicy or tangy and I needed more horsersdish lemon olive juice. I enjoyed the taco Brunch special 19$. The two tacos and some bites of hashbrowns were enough to fill me up. The hash browns were a bit too mushy and lacked texture. No seasoning to note either. The tacos were similar and lacked of flavor. The small sprinkle of goat cheese on the tacos was a redeemimg flavor note. There was alot more lobster pieces than I expected too which I liked. We had a very polite server and very fast service both things we appreciate for brunch.

The atmosphere is inviting, open and plain beautiful. Our waiter Doug was awesome - he was extremely knowledgeable of their menu items and their cocktails. I had a Blood Orange Old Fashioned which was off the charts (and I am an Old fashioned Drinker). And they have a great wine selection. The food and the service was excellent. Their pricing is very fair. As my wife and I were sitting there between apps and dinner I witnessed a young employee clean a table and chairs nearby where a couple had just left, and I have to tell you, I have been in restaurants all over the U.S. and Europe for many many years and I have never witnessed the thorough job this kid did - you would swear it was Covid all over again! I was blown away at the detailed cleaning. At that point in my book they hit a home run in every category and I had to let the Manager know how impressed we were. The Manager Christine came over to the table and I gave her and her staff an A+ in every category. I'll close by sharing this - People always make the time to complain about something but rarely make the time to let people know they have gone above and beyond and did a great job. My hat is off to The Grille and the people who make the place a hit - their employees! Job well done guys - don't change a thing and we will be back very very soon. Thanks for a great evening out. I said on our next visit we wanted to try the burgers and tacos. Yes, we tried the burgers this time, so we were at least halfway successful. We both ordered the Steakhouse Burgers ($21) served with wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, cheddar, and a cabernet sauce. These burgers were delicious! The meat was a perfect medium rare as each of us requested, the rolls were soft and fresh, the cabernet sauce had an exceptionally good flavor, and combined with the sautéed onions and melted cheese provided just the right amount of moisture and gooeyness. I chose to have my burger served with the standard French fries which they call Dipple Fries if ordered separately as a side. (Google "dipple fries cutter" to see how they are shaped.) My wife substituted a Caesar salad for the fries for an up charge of $5. The salad was quite good and large enough for her to share some of it with me. We also had a bottle of Saratoga sparkling ($9) and a pint of Wolf Hollow Amber ($8.50). Our server, Jordin, was truly pleasant on our last visit and again on this one. Maybe next time we'll remember to try the Tacos. There WILL be a next time.

We were a group of nine that included a few children. We went all out. The clear soup was good and flavorful. The salad was fresh and we loved the dressing. It wasn't the typical orange ginger but a light dressing. Delicious! I got the shrimp and scallop combo hibachi and I love that it comes with both rice and noodles. Lots of fresh vegetables. The scallops and shrimp were meaty and perfectly grilled. Others got steak cooked to their liking and some got salmon. Apps were edamame and a dragon roll and spicy tuna. I didn't try the apps but it was a fancy presentation. Everything was just so good. The service was impeccable. The chef was super engaging with everyone, including the littles. Hibachi is always fun and they are pros on fun. They handled our group with humor and the theatrics you've become accustomed to at hibachi dinner were on point. We went there on a Sunday, late afternoon, and it was amazing. I also got a fried ice cream for my birthday with fireworks! Thank you! The restaurant is big and can accommodate large parties. I want to go back soon! I do want to mention that the person that was paying for this birthday dinner didn't realize that gratuity was already added.
