The food here was so pretty and delicious. Thank you for having vegetarian options! We also appreciate the options for kids!

Bruschetta appetizer. Better than the bruschetta I had in Europe!

An upscale lunch spot in Clifton Park. Nice interior and table settings. The appetizer we got, bruschetta, was amazing, but the main course didn't compare to it. I ordered the chicken macaroni and cheese, but there was no chicken in it and the taste left something to be desired. My bf had the lasagna and really enjoyed his meal. I would go back to try again for a lunch or dinner sometime, but it is definitely on the pricier side.

When I think of Wheatfields, I think of the Broadway Bistro in downtown Saratoga, with a nice long front porch for al fresco dining, summer happy hours, and solid people watching. This location is nestled in a giant shopping center/strip mall, and it's usually not my scene, but you can't judge a book by its cover right? Happy to say that despite the locations being seemingly worlds away, I had the Wheatfields experience I've come to know and love. A large group of us gathered here for a holiday reunion brunch; several former co-workers and a good time was had by all. We were expecting around 15-20 people, and they had two large/long tables set up for us when we got there, right in front of the fireplace, and it ended up being the perfect arrangement for our large group. People could sit down at the tables or mix and mingle with ease. Since this brunch was on the Saturday between Christmas and New Year's, I tried to be good: my heart said burger and fries, but my jeans said, "good grief, woman, eat a salad!" - I was disappointed to learn we would not be getting a brunch menu (Sunday brunch only!) so I compromised and made a selection from the lunch menu. I ordered the grilled chicken club (with fries!) and it was honestly exactly what I was in the mood for. I was living for the garlic aioli, and I liked that it came on a torpedo hard roll, with plenty of cheese. This was kinda like the chicken sandwich of my dreams, believe it or not, it just had all the right things going on. I also appreciate the bar doing me a solid: a vodka-based drink on the menu sounded tasty to me, with the exception of one ingredient: 7-Up. The menu described the drink as being finished with a splash of the lemon-lime soda, but I thought prosecco would be a fine, dare I say better, substitution, so I nicely asked our server to ask the bar if they would do that for me, and they kindly obliged! My thinking behind the swap: more bubbles *and* more booze. It's science.

Consistently good at a fair price. We will go back. The chicken parmigiana is the way to go here.

I really like The Flats in Clifton Park. I've been here several times for dinner and lunch, along with their Christmas breakfast and Mother's Day buffet brunches. Their buffets are excellent. They're around $50 per adult and about $20 for kids, and in my opinion they're worth it if you enjoy a good brunch buffet. Today they had carving stations with roast beef and turkey sliced fresh in front of you, build your own omelets, chocolate chip waffles, chicken nuggets, potato pancakes, sausage, bacon, mac and cheese, herb chicken and rice, seafood, and a huge dessert selection. There were so many desserts I couldn't possibly name them all, but some included chocolate chip cookies, Rice Krispie treats, lemon meringue pie, chocolate mousse pie, Oreo mousse pie, mini cheesecake cupcakes, and plenty of other goodies. I will say the chocolate mousse pie tasted good but was a little gritty in texture. I love me some chocolate mousse pie ordinarily but today I actually preferred the Oreo mousse pie. That being said everything is all you can eat, and it's all very good. It was extremely busy today, which was expected, but service was still excellent. That's been consistent every time I've visited here. The restaurant itself has a nice industrial-style feel and a covered patio area that I really like. It's a newer place that's only been open a few years, at least from what I'm aware of. Most places around here seem to do brunches but not true buffet brunches anymore, and I personally enjoy a good buffet brunch, so this place really stands out to me. If you get the chance to attend one of their buffets, I'd definitely recommend it. I know I will return in the future. 5 stars

My friend picked a fall apple spice martini and I went classic bloody Mary. The martini was a bit too sweet. Perhaps less sugar rim and a half rim on the glass and no proseco. Im unsure of the correct recipe bc it wasnt my cocktail! My bloody wasn't spicy or tangy and I needed more horsersdish lemon olive juice. I enjoyed the taco Brunch special 19$. The two tacos and some bites of hashbrowns were enough to fill me up. The hash browns were a bit too mushy and lacked texture. No seasoning to note either. The tacos were similar and lacked of flavor. The small sprinkle of goat cheese on the tacos was a redeemimg flavor note. There was alot more lobster pieces than I expected too which I liked. We had a very polite server and very fast service both things we appreciate for brunch.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The matcha was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care -- prepared in a proper bowl and whisked with a bamboo whisk. I asked for a bit of honey, which really pulled the entire experience together. Honestly, I'd give this place a 5/5 based on the matcha alone. The smoothie bowl (I go the one that has banana, peanut butter, honey, and some other toppings) was great overall, though I did have one small complaint: there were a few large chunks of ice mixed in, and I accidentally bit into them. Aside from that, the bowl was flavorful and enjoyable. My wife ordered a smoothie, which was just okay. I didn't particularly care for it, and she unfortunately didn't end up finishing it. The service was excellent. The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful, and she even recommended the matcha -- which turned out to be a great suggestion. One last note: we had visited this spot about a year ago, and it looks like the interior has completely changed since then. The new layout is bright and welcoming, no longer dark, and features a mostly gray palette with accent plants and furniture that bring everything together nicely. It feels much cozier than before.

I enjoyed my usual small bowl of Shrimp and Pork Wonton Soup ($8.00) with tender dumplings, egg noodles, scallions, cilantro, and crispy shallots in a flavorful broth. Best ever. Upon my recommendation, we both ordered the Shaking Beef, or Bò Lúc Lắc, ($25.) which is a delicious Vietnamese dish of marbled cubes of beef tossed in all the good stuff: soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, a little sugar, butter, garlic, and black pepper. Kudos: The cubed filet mignon was cooked perfectly; it was tender and pink in middle. Outstanding! Two reactions: --I did not like the lime dipping sauce because it was very salty (grains of Sea Salt intact)served in a small dish that was on the plate, so next time I will order another type of sauce.
