I had a great experience. The waiter and waitress were very nice and professional. The valet wasn't the friendliest person, but he was ok. The food was good. We had the "Faroe Island Salmon" with Moscato and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great!

Came here again for a family event. The high end prices aside, it was great. The smokey old fashions are my favorite drink there! The warm bread was good. The onion soup with the short rib chunks is amazing. The salads were good as well. They do a great steak! Perfectly cooked and delicious. The mushroom and onions addition was meh. Was expecting something more for the additional cost but it was fine. The best side in my opinion is the loaded baked potato. The thing was huge!!! The table side tomahawk was fun to watch them melt the butter over the tomahawk and dribble into the potatoes. Other side that was great was the lobster fried rice. Can't say enough about the service, from the bussers to our team of waiters.

Definitely bring your appetite when you come to this place and the food was delicious, from start to finish. We enjoyed a seafood tower , short rib & lobster dumplings (delish), Steak (temp was perfect) , lobster and shrimp pasta, loaded baked potato (the biggest I've ever seen) roasted cauliflower and spinach. To say the least we were stuffed and still got dessert which I'm soooo happy because it was coconut cream pie with ice cream (my absolute favorite) so amazing I'd drive back up just for that !! The waiter was excellent and attentive he had great recommendations. The place is cute packed it was a Friday night but we did get reservations earlier that day.

We were here for a friend's birthday dinner. Make no mistake- 677 Prime is tops. Very elegant and top notch ambiance, food, and service. Dinner began with enjoying our smart martinis. We shared the calamari- all were perfect! We each ordered a petit filet -SO tender it nearly melts in your mouth. We had the baked potato and Brussels sprouts as sides. Make no mistake- it ain't cheap! But there is no better steakhouse in the region. No better service, ambiance, or elegant dining.

Went in for happy hour and sat at the bar. Had some French martinis. They were done right and very balanced. I ordered the burrata m, the onion soup, and the pork belly bites. Everything was delish. I got a side of the bone marrow jam with the burrata me it was divine. The onion soup has short rib along the bottom and an everything puff pastry on top. So delish. The place has an old school vibe with great riffs on steakhouse classics. I will def be back

We finally tried the surf and turf roll and it was delicious! Lightly fried and melts in your mouth. Beet salad was fresh and flavorful. The Cornish hen was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The sauce paired with it was so good I would buy a bottle of it and use it on everything. The coconut custard was nostalgic and reminded me of my grandma's custard. The ice cream they served with it was life changing and you could tell it was homemade with love. Service is always top notch.

Made day-of reservations here and the food was pretty good, though service was definitely lacking for the level of elegance the restaurant brands themselves as having. We got started off with a caesar salad and then for mains got the filet mignon with a side of brussel sprouts and lobster mac and cheese. Food was solid and priced well. Issue is around service. When we first got there the hostess just stared at us and was almost confused what we were doing there - no welcome or even asking us if we had a reservation. This then led to the waiter not being attentive, never bringing the glasses of wine we ordered and then even still trying to put it on the bill. Overall, I wouldn't come back due to poor service etiquette.

As I plan to visit a friend in Albany, I can't help but to screatly hope she wants to go have dinner here. We went last year for her birthday and l was highly impressed. This establishment gives everything you would hope for in an upscale steakhouse. We went here on a Saturday evening as a party of 3. We had drinks, appetizers, a full meal, and dessert. My Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and the sides were so big they could have been shared. The waitstaff was very sophisticated and friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend going here if you have something to celebrate or if you would like to impress someone. Not often, I give a place a 5/5.

Went with friends to celebrate our 10 year anniversary that took place 2 weeks ago. The ambiance was great. Our food was delicious. While the Men got the aged NY strips we got the Chilean sea bass. Loved the fish the way it was prepared and everything. The staff was very knowledgeable with the food and drink pairings. Couldn't really take any photos as we were really enjoying our food and the company. I had to get the dessert photo just because of the unique presentation

When a restaurant is good enough to pull you back for round two in the same week, you know it's doing something right. Angelo's 677 Prime isn't just another steakhouse--it's an experience, from the moment you open the light-up menu (seriously, how cool is that?) to the final bite of your steak. Let's start with the service: both visits were spot-on. The servers are hilarious but also incredibly professional, striking that perfect balance of fine dining polish with down-to-earth charm. And here's a tip--some of the appetizers get finished table-side with a blowtorch, which not only adds drama but also levels up the flavor and presentation. First visit, I had the filet mignon, which was incredibly tender and juicy--exactly what you hope for in a steakhouse filet. It came with a whole roasted head of garlic, and let me tell you, spreading that creamy, mellow garlic over each bite of steak? Absolutely elite move. Second visit, I went big with the Wagyu NY Strip, and while I didn't get to fully appreciate the marbling as much as I hoped, it was still a top-tier cut. I added the truffle sauce on top, which was rich, aromatic, and very worth it. But the real highlight? A few ounces of the snow-aged A5 Wagyu. That steak literally melts in your mouth--it was juicy, buttery, and hands down one of the most luxurious bites of beef I've ever had. To round it out, we split the lobster mac and cheese, which brought the perfect amount of indulgence--creamy, cheesy, and loaded with actual chunks of lobster (not just the flavor). Whether you're a steak purist or just looking for a special night out, Angelo's 677 Prime delivers on all fronts--exceptional food, fun touches, and flawless service. This place is absolutely worth the splurge.

From the appetizers through to dessert, and everything in between, the experience earned 5 stars. Waiter Mark was committed to making sure that our party was happy with everything. All questions about the meals, the ingredients and pairings were answered. Food was excellent. The service was excellent. The valet was attentive. The restrooms were well attended to. The live music was fun and appropriate to the ambience. The prices were reasonable. Menu selections, wine selections all met our expectations.

The peach salmon was another standout, with the lemon-flavored rice adding a unique touch. And the Chocolate Cookie Skillet is an absolute must-have! First, your Brunch menu and food are excellent, when we finally got our food - after roughly an hour of waiting - I was instantly reminded of why Dove and Deer is great - bold flavors, excellent preparation, gorgeous plates all in a city that desperately needs it. Second, I really felt bad for the 3 people responsible for running an entire restaurant on a Sunday (two waiters and one person in the kitchen). They did their absolute best, were so kind and apologetic, but obviously completely stressed out and frazzled. Tables got up and left after waiting for someone to get back to them - and we almost did too. It's unfair to restaurant staff to put the burden of running an entire place on them. I get if someone called off and you're short staffed 1 or 2 people, but did everyone call off? Besides 3 people? Come on. You have a real opportunity to be a go to brunch destination, my advice is to staff appropriately and give it a real go or risk customers not getting to experience the greatness that is your food - and taking their dollars to someplace far more mediocre. The only reason this isn't a 2 star or 1 star review is because of how hard your staff tried, and how good your food is (when it finally shows up).

From Michael the manager, meeting & greeting us to checking in on us while we were dining, to Emma, our server waiting on us, anticipating our every single need, to the food being cooked to perfection. I deconstructed the Cosmo, which was a splash of peach and kettle one which was a three dollar of charge for an $18 drink. We had the back room for a large party (9)Servers staff were friendly and accommodating. I was surprised at how long it took too get seated. The seafood tower of lovely had asked for warm butter. The side dishes are all à la carte but the potatoes and the asparagus excellent. Mistakes were done as ordered just been prepared for price shock. I recommend the crème brûlée for dessert and the naughty Irishman coffee.. overall was a nice experience with attentive, weight, staff and creative and with a sense of humor! I personally cannot afford to go there except for very special occasions. A meal at Ruth's Chris feels like an event. There's so much anticipation. Yes, the prices are high but it seems that you get what you pay for. A wonderful meal with top notch service and ambiance. I did not find it pretentious. I was concerned that it might be. There is no dress code. While some dressed up, others were casually dressed. One man even showed up in a very wrinkled shirt and the staff treated him as well as any other guest. The wait staff is amazing. Our server was Valbon. He was gracious, helpful and very thorough in describing food preparation. My friend had a Porterhouse Steak prepared medium well done with just a bit of pink. It was a massive steak. He said it was prepared perfectly. Same for the mashed potatoes and asparagus. I don't eat much red meat. Valbon recommended the sea bass for me. It was remarkably tender. I enjoyed the sautéd vegetables, too. I was amazed that I finished my entire meal. My friend took part of his giant steak home and enjoyed it the next day. I asked for a light cocktail. A vodka-based Lemon Drop martini was recommended for me. It's a popular drink there. It was just right. Ruth's Chris is a chain. I know that some people frown on eating at restaurant chains because of quality concerns. But Ruth's Chris is fine dining and the food preparation is apparently held to high standards. Our meals were enjoyable. It was our first time trying this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday. They added decorations on our table and also gave my wife a small cake and candle which was a nice gesture. Steak was great and service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and even the manager stopped at our table to greet us. We will definitely come back.

A friend wanted to go to Texas Roadhouse for Father's Day. He'd been talking about it for months…read more Why Father's Day? I'm not entirely sure. I think many fathers have an idea of how they'd like to spend their special day. This particular dad (divorced) loves bbq. So we went. An adult son came along, too. I was not prepared for the spectacle. The large parking lot on Wolf Road in Colonie was very full. There was a line of people waiting outside. Some were standing while others were seated on cushioned benches. The management had pitched a tent at the front entrance where staff took care of check-in. I'd gone online before arriving and placed our party of three on the restaurant chain's online "waitlist" system. It sent me a text message telling us what time to arrive. We were right on time. The staff checked us in and ushered us inside. We were seated at a table within about five minutes. The restaurant doesn't take reservations but its waitlist system was remarkably efficient. Kudos to the staff for making it seem effortless. There were hundreds of people dining at the restaurant and yet we were greeted by three or four staffers who took our orders, checked on us repeatedly and kept bringing us refills of those deliciously warm bread rolls. Since this is most definitely a family restaurant--there are large monitors on the walls playing goofy videos and a tablet on each table with video games--to keep both children and adults occupied. In keeping with the Western theme there are longhorn window decorations and heads of bison, antelope, billy goats and deer on the walls. Our drinks were served almost immediately. I ordered a mocktail called passion fruit sparkler just in case I needed to be the designated driver. The entrees took a bit more time. With so many people to serve, we just had to be patient. So I played the games on the tablet. The server eventually arrived with my order of the beef tips in mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and cooked vegetables. The meal was hot and delicious. Everyone was happy with their meals. We were stuffed. I took half of my meal home. Who knew that Father's Day at the Texas Road House was a cultural event? A phenomenon of sorts. I'm still amazed how the staff made everything work so smoothly. With so many families to feed it could have ended up disastrous but it turned out to be just the opposite. My friend had a great day which was made even better when his son surprised us all by insisting on paying for the entire meal. Thanks Texas Road House.

I asked her which was the better option, and she said most people order it with the white sauce, so I did. And I'm glad I did, although I know I would've probably liked the red sauce too. It was very good. The clams were perfect and the pasta had chopped clams too. It was so good. One of my Italian favorites and it was perfect. My friend raved about his Veal Marsala. I also had a glass of house Pino Grigio which was lovely. The next day we came back and had dinner again here on Sunday, after the conference. All he wanted was the calamari for his dinner, and he shared it with me. I had a taste for some traditional pasta so I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. I loved it and shared some of it with him because those meatballs were yuge!! And so very tasty. His Italian self said they were made very well. Yum!! With our meals I forgot to mention that we were also served warm Italian bread with butter. Perfect accompaniment. After dinner I wanted something sweet but not too heavy and I enjoyed the berries. It was perfect after my filling pasta dinner. This restaurant is very good, food is delicious and the waitstaff is welcoming and attentive. We even walked around and toured all the interesting artwork in the restaurant before we left the last night. I wish to be able to come back here again soon! Thank you for this charming dining experience.

My wife and I had dinner with another couple last week at The LongHorn Steakhouse in albany. (We live in Long Island, NY.) This was my first visit to this location and I could not have enjoyed the evening more. Our friends told us that they get busy quickly in the evening so we arrived at 6:00PM to a very warm welcome and were seated immediately. I knew that this was gong to be a good experience just from the way it started. We had to be out by 7:30 for a meeting so time was crucial/ Our very efficient server, came right over to our table and take a drink orders. She then delivered the drinks with menus and bread and asked us if we had any questions. We just wanted to sit and speak for a few minutes and enjoy our surroundings. This restaurant is a very comfortable spot where noise was not a problem even as they were filled to capacity. We all started with salads which were cool, crisp and tasty. The dinners we order included these two items: Flo's Filet®. This iconic cut has been here since opening in 1981. A very tender center cut is coated with signature Grill Seasoning and seared to lock in the classic buttery flavor. - You knew everyone enjoyed this Just from the expressions on everyone's face. They had a wide variety of sides with the main meal and most of us went with a salad and potato or greens. Chop Steak*. A 10 oz. of fresh ground beef loaded with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions, smothered with savory garlic herb sauce. - This was my selection. I love a good chop steak and find fewer and fewer restaurants offering it. I usually have to go with a large hamburger. This was a welcome choice and really [really] good. Overall, we were all VERY HAPPY to have come here and we all truly enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to visiting a LongHorn not far from where we live. On a personal note... I DO NOT understand the one star reviews. These are not regular Yelp users as shown by the fact that they have no friends, no pictures and either one or two reviews. DO NOT pay attention to them. People are definitely entitled to their opinions but these clearly do not reflect the views of all the people who have been here. KUDOs to the team at LongHorn Steakhouse!

The Roosevelt Room in Troy was a great experience from start to finish. I was honestly expecting a standalone building, but it is tucked into a strip mall near HVCC. That said, parking was easy and stress free, which is always a plus. This was our first visit as a party of four, and the service was superb. The attention to detail really stood out and was noticed immediately. Our waitress checked in at the right times, kept drinks filled, and made sure everything came out exactly as expected. Meals are made to order, so substitutions were no issue at all, and it was nice to see gluten free options available. When you walk in, you pass through a curtain and are immediately greeted by a coat attendant who takes your coats, which instantly gives the place an upscale feel. The ambiance is well done, with soft lighting and nice background music. It is on the smaller side and dimly lit, but that is clearly intentional. The menus actually light up, which was a unique and thoughtful touch that fits the atmosphere perfectly. We had reservations and were seated right away. It did not seem necessary on this particular evening, but I would definitely recommend them on a weekend given the size of the space. The food itself was excellent. Everything we ordered was very tasty, and the presentation across the board was impressive. Desserts are prepared by a pastry chef and were just as good as the rest of the meal. It is definitely on the pricey side, but that is to be expected for the level of service and atmosphere. This feels like a special occasion type of place, and in that context, it is worth every penny. We really enjoyed our night and would absolutely come back. There was also a sign mentioning live jazz on Fridays, which sounds like a great added touch. Overall, a very strong 5 stars.

Wonderful mixologists who made our time there a true delight. We had scrumptious, perfectly made cocktails and our apps were delicious. Before our apps arrived, we were given an amuse bouche (manchego cheese with fig.) What a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

The food and cocktails were delicious! We had a Nigroni and Blackberry Basil drink. The Nigroni was blended well, smoky and a good quality. The Blackberry Basil drink was also delicious, which says something as I'm a picky cocktail drinker! I ordered the bucatini which was flavorful with specialty mushrooms and whipped feta. The description slightly varied from what I received as I didn't see any of the nuts described but it was so good I'll overlook it. My husband had a buttery bass which he enjoyed. Our chocolate cake was rich and the perfect size for a sweet ending. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Overall highly recommend and thought the value was on par for our area. Also bonus points for cardboard takeout containers. I hate plastic and styrofoam.

This restaurant has a lot of things going for it which appeal to me. They do need to clean up their web information, and with that, the associated Yelp information. Both list the weeknight opening time as 5pm, and yet in different spots, they list a weekday happy hour starting at 4pm. Other snippets of conversation I overheard imply they have to make a few other menu updates. But as per my review, that didn't adversely affect my opinion of the place at all. We did, in fact, show up during the "happy hour period prior to 5pm," and we sat at the bar for drinks, for happy hour foods, and for our dinners. The happy hour menu is vague for cocktails... "well crafted cocktails" will be discounted, but you really have to ask which ones get the discount or not. We were content to order some of their regularly crafted cocktails. We were inundated with menus as well, one of which we got by mentioning it was our first visit there. That had two of immediate interest, the lobster and scallop crusted salmon, and the quail. I had never had quail, so of course I had to try it, and it was delicious (as was the salmon, which I also got to sample). I can't comment on table service, since we sat at the bar for the entire evening, but that was quite enjoyable... friendly service, made to feel welcome immediately, great conversation among staff and patrons. I look forward to exploring more of their offerings on future visits.
