We got lucky and the weather was nice... just a bit breezy but not cold. It was a quiet Sunday morning about 11am when we showed up and asked to sit on the patio. Only 2 other tables on the table were occupied so it was pretty quiet. When we left about an hour later, there were quite a few more people. Connor took good care of us and made sure we were well hydrated and caffeinated. Our food was quite tasty! Had I not been planning on a long day of exploring, I would have indulged in a Bloody Mary. I saw a couple enjoying them at a nearby table and my mouth watered enviously. This is a great spot to enjoy a brunch like we did or to close out the day with a nice evening cocktail and dinner. read more

We dined inside and the flys were on us the whole time we were trying to eat. we had to fight them off while trying too eat. I ordered the prime rib special and a while after ordering the waitress comes to me and says they had a problem getting the baked potato cooked and asked I would like mashed potatoes loaded instead. I said that was ok. Our meals showed up a few minutes later and we started trying to eat while fighting the house flys. My prime looked like it had been sitting around while they tried to figure out what to do about the baked problem. The potatoes tasted funny and the carrots were not cooked. I've never had suck a disappointing meal in my life at a restaurant and it was our 37th anniversary. read more

This place was amazing. All the food was excellent, the servers were very attentive and the ambiance was lovely allng with the table settings. We look forward to coming again! read more

Went there last night with our regular dinner Couple. Three of us got the Prime Rib Special. It was almost inedible. All of the dinners were basically raw and not enjoyable at all. We hadn't been there for a few months and found the drinks $22.00 For a Bourbon Manhattan a bit excessive and $21.00 for a cosmo no prize either. The gin martini was $16.00, asked for olives and got none. When we told the waitress what she brought back looked like something that fell on the floor. I got my dinner reheated, but by then the evening was pretty much over. The owner never came over and nothing was adjusted on the bill. VERY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Food, ambiance, service are all stellar! Would give it 6+stars if I could! Happy Hour menu & drink prices are GREAT! Especially love it outside during good weather! Mixologist Greg ( inside bar) can make you anything, just tell him what you like! Has his own daily special drink and promotes happiness! Usually in accompanying a holiday or Special Event! Highly recommend!!! read more

Started with the Emma Jayne cocktail which was amazing! Vanilla vodka, coconut rum, pineapple juice and a splash of strawberry puree. Food and service were excellent! We were able to order the Calimari gluten free with rice flour and Thai chili sauce. Definitely will be back in the future. read more

Honestly was shocked I enjoyed my meal here as much as I did. Our server Alex was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was really good. If I will go back for sure especially if I want seafood. I had the salmon blt sandwich and it was great. My sister had the ribeye add fried shrimp that too was worth the cost. The shining star of the meals was the lobster bisque. read more

Located in Glenville overlooking the Mohawk River, Max410 at The Waters Edge was the perfect place for lunch on a beautiful summer's day. My husband picked this place. What I found interesting was that he usually prefers to sit indoors, but when he found that the restaurant only serves steamed clams outdoors, he made a beeline outside. We were directed to a pavilion where we found staff and seating. The bartender took our order. In addition to steamers, I ordered a lobster salad with greens. I was impressed with the amount of lobster that came with the meal. The greens were very fresh. The portions were generous. It was delicious. The inside of the restaurant is also lovely. I went to use the ladies room which was clean and pretty. The staff was very courteous. I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It's a nice place for a date-- which is what we were on-- but there were also groups of friends and families dining out. They seemed to be having a wonderful time. Excellent food, staff and ambiance. I hope to be back soon. read more

Another incredible meal from the new Waters Edge Lighthouse. We sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended especially for dinner. If you love seafood they are one of my personal favorite places with a great variety of seafood dishes. The Lobster and Crab fondue could be a meal in itself. They also offer outdoor dining overlooking the river. read more

Started off with professionally made old fashion - kudos to well made cocktail. Enjoyed warm bread loaf and flavored butter board before our dinners. We ate at the bar and it was comfortable. Partner went with prime rib special. Decent! Mine was the power bowl - warm variety of superfoods - probably best I've had - and plenty of it! Entire staff on point. Engaging, while tidying and restocking.atmosphere reminded me of cape Cod Cozy. read more

Superb! If you want to impress someone, take them there! The food, the service, the ambiance! It's pricey, but worth it!

First time there yesterday 6/2. I had Filet , with a lobster tail and steamed clams. I sat at the bar . Greg was the bartender, very polite and making sure i was taken care of. After dinner had a drink at the outside bar, where a girl named Brielle was the bartender. She was friendly, and did a very amazing job. read more

My husband and I dined at this restaurant when it was the Lighthouse, and have not visited since it's been under new ownership. We decided it was time to give it a whirl! The restaurant is very seafood-heavy as a forewarning! They do have other entrees, steaks, and tavern-fare. My husband opted for the Wagyu burger, as I chose the Apple Chicken sandwich. My husband's burger was well-cooked, but the bun was a little burned. I enjoyed my sandwich, but it came with macaroni salad which was pretty tasteless. I ordered a house Cabernet, which was tasty - usually house wines suck. The service was very professional and attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A man at the neighboring table was choking on his meal, and another diner gave him the heimlich. Don't worry about dying at Max 410 - a friendly patron will save you! read more

We always enjoyed the food here when it was The Lighthouse under the previous owners. We went recently, our first time since ownership changed, and the food wasnt nearly as good. We had steamed clams and a crab cake for appetizers and both were good, however our entrées were very bland. The filet mignon we ordered was cooked properly but it wasnt seasoned at all and the mashed potatoes served with it were so bland they were inedible. We really expected a better meal for the amount we paid. We were seated by the windows overlooking the river so the view was nice. We may try it again to see if they just had an off day. read more

Saturday service was slow, suppose that can be warranted. Shrimp cocktail appetizer wasn't great, wasn't fresh at all. French onion soup cheese was burnt. Delmonico was ok, strip steak was very good. Our gluten free guest was limited on options. I think there is something missing on the freshness but perhaps inflation is straddling this place. If we're going to spend $400+ again, it will be another place we haven't tried yet. read more

Great service, good food and peaceful atmosphere. You might think it's closed because it's so peaceful

Overrated. First, they missed our reservation that my grand-daughter make for her mothers birthday(which my daughter was present when the phone call was placed. The manager / owner accomodated us with the stipulation than we were at a table reserver for 7:15 so had about an hour and 45 minutes to have dinner. That work out fine My al dente vegetables (carrots and green beans) we so al dente trying to cut them with a butter knife was a chore My wife had a chicken dish dish with roasted potatoes. Commented that the potatoes were delicious, had a taste of scalloped potatoes. Her chicken was overcooked and dry. We boxed it and brought it home for my sister in laws dog! Nice atmosphere would go back but stay with a seafood of beef selection read more

Very nice location and good service. Food and drink, on the other hand, were below average and completely not what was expected given the hype. I ordered the "special," which was a lobster ravioli carbonara. It was served on a plate covered in calamari. After unearthing the ravioli from the huge amount of calamari, the ravioli were over cooked, as was the lobster. And, as any Italian would know, the carbonara was not made the traditional way. Maybe I should have expected that, but I didn't. My dining companion had the seafood risotto. Again, overcooked seafood on a tasteless base of gluey rice with what could have easily been frozen vegetables. The "charred" corn had no sweet or smoky flavor. Where did the char come from? Likely a bag of frozen corn. And why no flavor? All in all - very disappointing. Not worth the wait and certainly not anywhere near the hype. read more

Man... I'm sad to say I waited so long for the family meals cause the family and I LOVE them. We can eat and we always have just enough leftover for someone to get a quick and filling lunch the day after. Amazing flavors and everything has been cooked to perfection each time. A disappointing evening. We were a party of 4 out for a birthday celebration. We were walked through the whole restaurant all the way to a back room with two other tables for four and one filled with 10 people celebrating a birthday party. We tried to enjoy our evening but it was so noisy we had to yell to speak and were seated next to a freezing outside door. We asked to move when another couple left and were accommodated. The food was good, but was disappointed that a side salad did not come with a $36.00 entree. The server was very good, but the evening was definitely not worth $280.00. Not returning anytime soon. read more

Unfortunately, we weren't impressed. I probably should have known. Supplies aren't as easy to come by right now but it was my birthday and we wanted surf and turf. I ordered the Seafood 410 it consisted of a poached lobster tail with scallops and shrimp served with wild rice and asparagus. The asparagus was good and that's about it. The lobster tail was small, had an off flavor and was very mushy. The scallops and shrimp were ok but not really good. The rice was kind of overpowering too. And to top it off the portion was small. My husband had the Filet Mignon with Brie 6oz portion. The steak was tender enough but again not anything special. The Cabernet Demi sauce with the mashed potatoes tasted like soy sauce. My son enjoyed his Cuban Sandwich which came with a small cup of macaroni salad. These were not inexpensive meals. Mine was $27 and the steak $29. I've learned my lesson not to order takeout/delivery fine dining. At least then you can talk to the kitchen if there's a problem. I hope they are better in person but I don't know. read more

Had a party of 8 meet for dinner outside table , right on the water and that was the best part of the evening. We were seated at 5:35 and it was as if they forgot we were there. My daughter in law went and found the waitress and she came back and apologized , gave us water and then went M.I.A. again. The owner/manager came out and apologized to us that the kitchen was backed up. They brought out chips n salsa and bread, filled our water glasses and then went dormant again. We didn't get our dinners until 90 mins after we were seated and my wife's chicken was badly undercooked. I have no plans to return. We frequented this restaurant for years when it was the Lighthouse and loved it. There are plenty other options nearby that we'll be freqenting. read more

Minus 410 is what it should be called. Very poor and slow service but I think that it might have just been our waitress. We had to ask for glasses of water three times and when she brought them, one was rose colored water, almost like the line hadn't been cleared out before they turned the water on. We also waited over 40 minutes for our food to arrive and we worried that it was forgotten. We ordered a club sandwich and steak, which shouldn't haven taken that long. Also, we asked for the steak to be medium and it was well but didn't send it back because who knows long it would have taken to get another steak. With that being said, the food was delicious. read more

My family and I had a luncheon on the patio at Max410 after my Uncle Michael's funeral and everyone was raving with complements about their entrees ! Thank you Mike for making our day a nice memory ! I ordered the salmon with wild rice and vegetables , My aunt the steak, potatoes and vegetables, other entrees were steak salads, which were a big hit . The setting, overlooking the trees and golf course, the service, and of course the food were wonderful ! We especially liked that we could eat outdoors , feel safe and free to enjoy the beautiful summer scenery! Many of us will be sure to come again! Thank you ! read more

We were very excited to go to max for 10 after it had been sold and re-open for the last time that we were there when it was a lighthouse it was awful. We met our friends for drinks at the bar at six to be seated at 6:45. Our drinks took 20 minutes to get when we sat at the table. We ordered our appetizers and food at the same time. We literally did not get our food till like 820 and our entrées were served cold, I had a pasta special with lobster tail and lobster meat as did one of our companions. Both were served cold. My husband got the prime rib, and said it was the worst prime rib he has ever had. It was mostly fat and way over cooked my friend had short ribs, but she said the sauce was terrible and the ribs Were also very tough. Needless to say none of us really ate our food and it took two hours to get they gave us a 20% discount which to me was not compensated. Needless to say none of us will be going back. It's a shame because the location is very nice especially in the summertime. The waitress was very nice and we felt very bad for her because apparently she had four other complaints on the food also that evening. read more

It was Marlin, my husband's anniversary food was very horrible sucked. It came from the freezer to the table.

Nice outdoor seating atmosphere- right on golf course. Featured cocktail "rum love" tasted like syrup only. Way too sweet. Sent it back for a glass of wine. Jalapeño margarita was very good. Bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp appetizer was very overcooked and served on top of wilted lettuce. Lobster pasta had a very tasty sauce. Lobster however was rubbery. The biggest disappointment was my porterhouse steak entree. For $34 it was the most expensive steak on menu. I requested steak medium rare. I got a plate of burnt, medium well steak that I'm positive was microwaved to heat up. Looked like someone took a fistful of blanched broccoli and tossed it on my plate. There was a half potato that had been previously cooked and also microwaved. This was hard,, tasteless and ice cold like the rest of the meal. read more

As a regular patron to this establishment when it was the Lighthouse, I have been giving it a try under new management. The inside restaurant and bar haven't changed much. The new menu is too seafood forward with limited alternate options and expensive considering the quality. I tried the patio bar recently, ordering an aperol spritz and blackened chicken tacos. The drink was just awful, consisting of Prosecco with a drizzle of Aperol in a plastic cup. The tacos were described as spicy with fresh pineapple and mango slaw. The chicken was boring to say the least. The slaw was tasteless, lacked seasoning, contained no mango and only a few pieces of canned pineapple. The service is poor with drink orders forgotten, no water, and mixed up food orders. Very disappointing. read more

We had a reservation for 5 PM and left at 8 PM , it was slow moving for sure and some of the staff seeming stressed. The food was amazing and our waitress (I think her name is Paige) was incredible. Great food thanks to leadership in the kitchen but when the left to there own devices, literally, there's not gratitude from service. Prepare for country club pompous people in the bar to tell you their opinions because they're bored at work. I guess covid killed customer service along the way at this place. Try not to disrespect paying customers and cross your fingers you stay afloat with your to go business. And don't forget the gravy. Not going back after my negative experiences even for the quality on the plate. read more

Placed a large order through DoorDash and waited over an hour just to get a notification that the restaurant canceled the order. I called Max410 and the lady who answered told me they were not doing DoorDash delivery anymore. The lady didn't apologize for making us wait and didn't seem to care about the big mixup. She said DoorDash has been placing orders and sending drivers for weeks and every time a driver shows, they cancel the order - after making the customer wait over an hour. If you care this little for your new customers, then this customer will be taking their support to other local establishments. Beware of delivery orders to this place!! read more

Upon arriving at the establishment yesterday, it was a beautiful sight to see. Entry was kind of confusing, and we ended up deciphering which is the lounge entrance, as opposed to the restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly, for a party of four, and the food was amazing. In particular, I like that the default preparation of the mashed potatoes was chunky. The waitress could've been more focused on serving the table as opposed to flirting with my brother, but nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves. Sitting outside was really nice, considering the weather, and it was great to spend the evening with a lack of light congestion and pollution. I would definitely visit again, and most certainly recommend to those considering patronage. read more
