    Ribeye with fried shrimp
    Andrena F.

Honestly was shocked I enjoyed my meal here as much as I did. Our server Alex was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was really good. If I will go back for sure especially if I want seafood. I had the salmon blt sandwich and it was great. My sister had the ribeye add fried shrimp that too was worth the cost. The shining star of the meals was the lobster bisque.

Located in Glenville overlooking the Mohawk River, Max410 at The Waters Edge was the perfect place for lunch on a beautiful summer's day. My husband picked this place. What I found interesting was that he usually prefers to sit indoors, but when he found that the restaurant only serves steamed clams outdoors, he made a beeline outside. We were directed to a pavilion where we found staff and seating. The bartender took our order. In addition to steamers, I ordered a lobster salad with greens. I was impressed with the amount of lobster that came with the meal. The greens were very fresh. The portions were generous. It was delicious. The inside of the restaurant is also lovely. I went to use the ladies room which was clean and pretty. The staff was very courteous. I enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It's a nice place for a date-- which is what we were on-- but there were also groups of friends and families dining out. They seemed to be having a wonderful time. Excellent food, staff and ambiance. I hope to be back soon.

Another incredible meal from the new Waters Edge Lighthouse. We sat at the bar and the service was fast and friendly. Reservations are recommended especially for dinner. If you love seafood they are one of my personal favorite places with a great variety of seafood dishes. The Lobster and Crab fondue could be a meal in itself. They also offer outdoor dining overlooking the river.

1st time here, we ate lunch here today. We sat in the bar. Food was top notch, very flavorfull, served hot. Large portions. Service was very good. I had the braised short ribs over Gnocchi Pasta, delicious. A work friend had the chicken salad club with fries. I would definitely go back and highly recommend

ambiance-very nice. great outside patio over looking the river. during warm weather has to be so nice outside. service - everyone was great. pleasant smiling, willing to help. wonderful staff. Food- started with fried calamari, cooked perfect. made with banana peppers. lobster flat bread was very good. aunt Renee's pasta was a bit flat. needed salt. the sauce was a cacio pepe, but no pepper taste at all. dish looked good but missed on flavor. ambers chicken came out looking great, but was cold. they remade it without an issue. came out looking great. the food presentation is beautiful. as i noticed other dishes coming out everything looked so good. will definitely come back.

The fresh bread with two different butters, cinnamon and then a garlic butter.

First time there yesterday 6/2. I had Filet , with a lobster tail and steamed clams. I sat at the bar . Greg was the bartender, very polite and making sure i was taken care of. After dinner had a drink at the outside bar, where a girl named Brielle was the bartender. She was friendly, and did a very amazing job.

We went with 3 kids, and were told there was no kids menu, it says thus no where, should no one ever bring a child here? The menu had no traditional American Italian kids items ie chicken parm. It had Barciolle, stuffed flounder, eggplant rollatini, and steak pizzialo. Which is fine, if you still offer a kids menu. The stuffed flounder gotten by 3 of us, one child, Was inedible, the stuffing mixture was so old, it tasted so off. Sour almost. None of us ate it. One child got steak pizzialo, the steak was basically boiled in tomato sauce, tough and not good. Service was maybe a 2/5. Save your money, I want mine back. $210 with tip. We left hungry. When the waitress came and saw the full plates, she said, do you guys want boxes? No thanks.

I was here last in 2022 and had many delicious meals during my trip to Schenectady. This time, I returned to the restaurant and asked for a seat at the bar, only to be told that they weren't accepting walk-ins. I thought this was odd, but made a reservation for the following week. I wish I'd followed my gut and skipped it. The menu looks the same, but the preparations are completely different. The chicken Milanese used to be two large pieces of chicken served with a light and delicious cream sauce, nothing else. Now, it's a single thinly pounded piece of chicken, piled with lettuce and tomatoes (no mentioned of this on the menu) and served on top of a bland cream sauce. I wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known this. Also, the side order of cavatelli which used to be so delicious tasted like it had about a tablespoon of salt poured over it. Seriously, I've never had such salty food in my life. I also heard a diner at an adjacent table complain to their waitress that their food was too salty. I don't know what happened, but Cornell's is a completely different place than the great restaurant it once was. I won't be going back.

The decor did impress from the outside look to the inside. We ordered the seafood tower to start. At this price point, it was really not worth it. A half lobster on top with maybe 1 or 2 crab legs. A few raw oysters and clams and few shrimp. I have definitely had better. In fact all the seafood dishes lacked. We got the lobster Mac and cheese also to share and it was overly salty. I ordered a sea bass and they were out of it so I asked if the same dish could be prepared with salmon instead, which I was told it could. I ended up entirely getting the salmon dish which I avoided because I didn't like the accompaniments. The waitress immediately realized and took the dish back to get it redone. It came back out and I don't think it was still correct however I ate what I could. Fish was overcooked. My friends had steaks and those arrived on a sizzling hot cast iron. I should've went with meat. Drinks were also just okay. I find the flavors not to layer well with the drinks or entrees. The service was fantastic which is why I am giving 3 stars. The waitress was observant and did just enough without being overbearing. However, I wouldn't come again.

We had a fixed menu that included shrimp cocktail, mixed greens salad, filet mignon, dessert, and an open bar. After a couple of old fashioneds and some shrimp cocktail, I was already happy. Really, all of the food and drinks were enjoyable. The filet mignon especially stood out -- a 10oz center cut filet with cabernet demi-glacé -- and mine came out a perfect medium rare. The sides were well done too, especially the smashed Yukon gold potatoes and grilled asparagus. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauces and whipped cream that finished the meal nicely. Service throughout the night was excellent. Plates moved quickly, drinks kept flowing, and wine glasses were consistently topped off without needing to ask. It's an essential stop whenever I'm in Albany, striking that rare balance between upscale sophistication and genuinely warm hospitality. Under the leadership of Jaime Ortiz and Ken Kehn, the restaurant continues to deliver a consistently exceptional experience. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation for five while celebrating a friend's 45th birthday. We arrived early to enjoy the outstanding happy hour offerings, including $11 well martinis, excellent deviled eggs, oysters, and duck wings. The next day, I reviewed the bar tab and noticed we had been charged $16 per martini instead of the happy hour price. Since we ordered several rounds, the difference was significant and also affected the gratuity, as we tipped 22 percent. To the restaurant's credit, when I returned and pointed out the mistake, the staff addressed it promptly and reimbursed us for most of the overcharge. 677 is a good choice if you're visiting for a celebratory steak dinner, a business meal, or cocktails at happy hour, every detail feels polished and thoughtfully executed. One standout is the Hanging Tomahawk for Two -- a dramatic 50-ounce prime cut, sliced tableside and paired with parmesan- and butter-breadcrumb-crusted fingerling potatoes. It's every bit as impressive as it sounds. What truly elevates the experience is the staff. They don't simply serve guests -- they anticipate needs before you even realize them. In an era when fine dining can sometimes feel formulaic, 677 Prime distinguishes itself through constant refinement and a commitment to making each visit better than the last. Easily one of the finest restaurants in Albany. One pro-tip: review your tab before paying.

It is a good thing I did, as there was quite a long line (30 or so people) waiting to get in when we arrived. We were seated quickly and had our food ordered within about 10 minutes. The interior has an old-school look and charm to it, and it was quite nice though a bit dark. Thankfully, there wasn't loud music blaring at all. Lots of tables were crammed together but, perhaps because they weren't to full capacity while we were there, it didn't feel cramped. I ordered steak au poivre, and my wife had the prime rib. Both were prepared well and I really loved my steak. I chose rice pilaf as my side and it was decent enough but didn't taste like much beyond rice and tiny red bell peppers scattered throughout. My wife had a baked potato. Our food came out within about a half-hour, which seemed fair for such a busy time. It came with a salad bar which was good but not great. The usuals were there, though at the end were loaves of fresh made squishy bread and huge chunks of cheese. I think if you took the last two away it would have been a very average salad bar. But I enjoyed it for what it was. We each ordered dessert: I had the brownie sundae and my wife the turtle cheesecake. Mine was excellent, though it was hard to see the brownie included because they served it in a deep bowl covered with whipped cream. My wife's cheesecake looked great though it was a smallish piece on a place absolutely festooned with caramel and chocolate sauces. All desserts are priced the same, which is an interesting concept. All in all, we had a very nice meal. It wasn't cheap, but it was good. I wouldn't recommend coming here for a burger, or solely for their salad bar. But if you want a special preparation of beef then you will likely enjoy yourself. Just make reservations first!
