Half and half pizza - meatball, ricotta & basil and pasta alla vodka!
Riley B.

Yummy food! We had a pepperoni pizza and a split pizza of meatball, ricotta, basil and pasta alla vodka! All very delicious. Service was great as well! Will be back next time in Boston.

Our company ordered a bunch of pizzas from here for a holiday party at work. The pizzas were very mid, despite what I've heard about them. The crust is hard to chew. Other than that, ingredients seemed fresh. It just didn't impress me at all. I like Dominos more. Maybe their pizza is better if you get it more fresh? I just didn't enjoy it that much, and by the sentiment of the other folks in the room, they felt the same way.

Best pizza I've had in Boston! Small place, but very cute. The pizza was freshly baked.

Absolutely Terrible! The pizza arrived barely luke warm. It was oversalted, dry and incredibly thin. The taste was missing altogether. Bland and stale. Never again, Otto!

Super fresh (gluten free) pizza. Fast and friendly service. Good place to people watch across from Harvard.

Mashed potato, bacon, & scallion slice

We were in need of a snack to tide us over until dinner. We had walked around the block near Harvard and stumbled in to this place. This is a small place on the inside, but do have a few tables set up on the patio out front. The menu was quite different than any pizza joint I've been to. My wife had the mushroom, manchego, and herb. I rolled with the mashed potato, bacon, and scallion. The tastiness of the pizza matched the uniqueness. Definitely check it out if you are looking for some za with a twist!

I always turn to Otto for a quick lunch if I don't have time to go home. They have big slices that are thin, but the pizza flavors and toppings always bring me back. The immediately serve you and inside is really small so there is not much room to sit. I still sit inside and eat quickly so I can leave. It is a great stop if you want something quick.

I've reviewed the other Otto I've been to, and I gotta say this one is just as good. They have some of the best pizza in town!

They had good thin-slice pizza with unique flavors and toppings. One of the better pizza places in Harvard Square...

We did not enjoy this pizza. It had a very thin, tasteless crust, very little cheese and no tomato sauce.

Well-dressed and well executed. Pizzas were ok, was under impressed with the pepperoni/ vodka which sounded amazing on paper but was light on the pepperoni and on the actual flavor. Pastas were tasty and popular with our group, but to me over priced for what they were - pasta with little to no meat for $28-$30. Service was poor... our server ("Hannah") had troubles landing the hot honey to accompany the pizza on our table and it landed on me and another person in our party, ruining my shirt and pants. An apology never came and no effort to make it right or acknowledge the mistake, I guess the guaranteed tip for large parties provided little incentive for our server to provide adequate customer service. IMO, Drinks were overpriced and small (a 12 ounce draft beer for $10???). Gufo translates to "owl"... cute! Based on my experience I'd rename it "Goof-Up" because that was my personal experience. Hope you have a better experience.

It is his childhood favorite (the thin slices) and the measure by which all others are rated. We arrived during lunch... 8-or-so person line that moved quickly. A well-oiled machine. We ordered slices - apparently, only available a la Sicilian, not thin: pepperoni, sausage, mushroom. All three were served room temperature and the cheese had already re-solidified into a tasteless rubbery blob. Maybe that's what pizza is out here. For my first East Coast pizza, I was really hoping it WAS going to be the best pizza I've ever had (until I get to NYC, of course). There were a few tables enjoying hot and gooey thin slice round pizzas that looked amazing. They were also being eaten by grown ups. Maybe that's where we went wrong. Did we order from the kid's menu? Maybe we chose badly? Maybe we were so close to the door that the slices siezed up before we got them in our mouths? If this is the best you've got, I don't need to try another pizza in the whole state.

My go-tos are the mushroom pie and clam pie, both of which are super flavorful and made with high-quality ingredients. They pair really well with the shaved brussel sprout salad, which may be the perfect salad in my eyes: thinly shaved brussel sprouts, crunchy roasted hazelnuts, and slices of parmesan cheese. Not too saucy but extremely refreshing!

I just had a disappointing pizza experience at Area 4 (rated 4.4, one of the highest in the area)…read more My sister even said she preferred dining hall food, and we both agreed that Domino's was better. The service was poor from the start. The waitress told us we would be seated at the bar. She rolled her eyes and appeared visibly annoyed when I asked if it was okay that my sister was under 21. She said it was fine as long as we didn't order drinks, then seated us at the bar. We were only given drink menus. When the bartender came over to take our order, I had to ask for a food menu myself. Our seating was also uncomfortable. We were placed right next to the bar/server station. My sister got splashed when drinks were being opened, and servers repeatedly bumped into her chair while passing. We ordered the Carnivore pizza. The pizza itself was quite salty. The dough was decent, but not impressive. I kept trying to convince myself it was good, but it fell short. Pizza: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 Would I return? No. Overall, I was surprised by the 4.4 rating. My expectations were much higher based on the reviews.
