I thought there is only residential in this area but a nice place here. Ambiance is nice. My fish and chips is really good and so as the burger and ribs that my friends enjoyed. Better if you reserve in advance.

Came here after my parent's hit a few buckets on the driving range. We were told it was a 45 minute wait but we were seated quicker than that. Service was great, our waitress was very nice and attentive. The wings are delicious here! The spud bites were also delicious! I got the bacon cheeseburger, very good, however the bun was a kaiser roll which I didn't realize. It was very interesting to have that with a burger, wasn't my favorite but my sister loved it with her burger. I was told the fish and chips are the best menu item. Fries are very good as well. It is very very loud in the dining room so definitely come prepared for that.

We were looking for a place to get a club sandwich. Found one! Had a nice lunch outside overlooking the golf course which was nice. Service was fast and friendly. Overall good experience.

It's still covid so we made a reservation because FB advertised they have music tonight from 5 - 7 ! It sure isn't gonna be the collage crowd cause they're still sleeping. They know their business cause the place was packed. We were seated right away not far from the guy playing the guitar... playing James Taylor type songs great for listening and enjoying dinner all in one. We sat in the back room previously a porch and in the past few years the owners enclosed it with windows. Except for the little to bright lights the room is just great. Clean, newly remodeled and will hold maybe 75 or so people. All servers had on masks according to CDC rules and customers too until they were seated to eat. We have to follow the rules until we are finished with this darn pandemic! DH ordered a beer and I ordered a Downeast Cider @ $10. ish and a Duo half soup half chicken salad sandwich and a cup of mushroom soup $9.49. The soup was home made and the sandwich and all other menu items use Hellman's mayo my favorite! Not everyone uses it and they list in on the menu! That's a major plus. Had to order carrot cake for dessert because there's always room for dessert. As you can see from reviews we've been here before but what a change food is just great even during covid!

Their version of a shrimp po boy.

Otis and Olivers during covid distancing is a much more pleasant experience than my previous visit. Tables are spaced far enough apart so you enjoy your meal without a din from other diners. Being Good Friday I went with the special; a shrimp po boy. Truth be told (yes I was informed by our wait staff prior) it was a wrap rather than a traditional po boy. More importantly though, it was a tasty sandwich with a tiny bit of heat. Multiple fried shrimp with a cole slaw that is dressed with a habenero hint dressing stuffed into a tortilla wrap. It was good. Accompanying my sammy was my choice of fries. I prefer my fries closer to well done but these were ok and plentiful. Could have gotten cole slaw, saratoga chips, fries or mac salad. SO got the fish and chips. It's a large piece of white fish and tartar sauce and fries. Large parking lot, pleasant wait staff, reasonable prices and a view of two guys hitting balls.

There is limited parking on the premises but always parking on the street if you don't mind some walking. The slightly rustic, lodge type of interior matches the friendly vibes as well as the interesting drink selections, including a side menu filled with signature coffee whiskey cocktails! Their tipsy cocktails and beer menu is also quite attractive. My group and I were able to walk in on a weekend evening for dinner with no wait and while it was packed inside, it still felt roomy enough. However, the surrounding tables were rowdy and the noise was reverberating. Our server was attentive though she did admit it was busy and the wait time for orders would take a bit longer than usual. The menu has plenty of starters that are highly shareable, poutine, salads, soups, mac and cheese, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and quesadillas. Haven't had real poutine in ages so I decided to try their gravy fries with smoked cheese curds and added bacon. It was a good portion for the price ($15+) and came out hot on a cast iron skillet. The cheese curds weren't the type I expected and melted down too much, and did not have that squeaky cheese bite one would want in poutine. The gravy and the bacon worked well with the fries though! The smoked brisket French onion soup ($8+) was extremely hot when it first came out and I had to let it cool down before taking a spoonful. The cheese was so bubbly and delicious and the soup itself was flavorful (maybe a tad too salty), and had a balanced amount of onions and brisket. I would definitely get the soup again. Their barbecue pulled pork quesadilla ($15+) was also a bit too salty and meat was more tough than preferred. We also tried two of their mac and cheese selections, which came in a small cast iron pot each ($17+). The bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese was good but the jerk chicken mac and cheese was not as memorable (not much jerk flavor). Kudos for having a build-your-own mac and cheese option as well as a mac and cheese flight if you want to try more than one flavor. I'm glad to return to try other menu items at this tap and tavern and see what else catches my eye. While this visit wasn't spectacular, it also wasn't bad. The French onion soup is one thing I know I'd get over and over again. Oh, they also have a credit card transaction fee that you will see once you get the bill. Pay in cash if you mind said fee.

This was my first time at Beer Bones Bar and Grill. We went as a group of six and made a 6pm reservation, which turned out to be a good call because the place filled up quickly. It's on the smaller side and definitely gets busy. One thing to note, there is a 3% upcharge if you pay by credit card. It's posted on the door, but easy to miss if you're not looking for it. We started with pretzels and mozzarella sticks, both were very good. From there, it's clear wings are a big focus here. They have a ton of sauce options. We ordered a wing platter and tried Stebo, garlic parm, moonshine, and bourbon BBQ. The Stebo was the clear favorite for everyone, with the bourbon BBQ as my personal second. I'd definitely be interested in trying their honey BBQ next time. The wings themselves were excellent, large, meaty, crispy, and very flavorful. I'm somewhat of a wing aficionado, and these absolutely delivered. One thing that really stood out was the generous portion of celery, carrots, and blue cheese. Most places treat that as an afterthought, but not here. Everything was fresh and plentiful, which was a nice change. Bravo on that. For entrees, we were told they were out of string fries and corned beef, but pastrami was available as a substitute for Reubens. Not a big deal for our group. I ordered a cheeseburger, no tomato or onion, add lettuce, with steak fries, and asked for it well done. Others at the table ordered a Feener burger, another cheeseburger, mac and cheese, tater tots, a slider, and a Nashville hot chicken wrap. The one issue was that our waiter didn't write anything down, which made us all a little skeptical. Unfortunately, that concern turned out to be valid. One burger came out without cheese, and they were out of American, so it had to be switched to cheddar. My order came out with tomato and onion, no lettuce, and waffle fries instead of steak fries. To their credit, everything was corrected quickly. The runner brought out lettuce right away and swapped the fries, mentioning steak fries take a little longer, but they came out pretty fast. My burger itself was what I'd call medium rare rather than well done, but I was hungry and didn't send it back. Despite the mix-ups, the food across the board was very good, and the portions were large. I was full and couldn't even finish my fries, which almost never happens. Service overall was a mixed bag. The waiter was friendly and acknowledged the mistakes upfront, which I appreciated. Other staff checked in on us, refilled drinks, and made sure we had napkins and wet wipes for the wings. Once the errors were announced , they were handled quickly and without any issue. I really think if the order had been written down, this could have easily been a 5 star visit. I'll definitely be back, the wings alone are worth it, and the staff did a good job recovering from the mistakes. Next time, if we're a larger group again, I might suggest writing the order down just to avoid the same issues.

We also are fans of the Detroit style pizza we were first introduced to at Whitman Brewing in Saratoga. Korner Bar & Grill is closer to our home, and it would be more convenient if their pizza was equally as good. Arriving on a Saturday around 6 PM it was apparent that they are already popular after being open for only about one week. None of the tables were available and only 4 seats at the very long bar were vacant. We chose two bar seats that were the furthest from the dining room where a fellow was entertaining with his guitar and singing. These seats were close to the entrance with an occasional cold draft as people arrived and left. We chose these seats because the noise level was unbearable everywhere else. I actually turned my hearing aids off to tolerate the noise level. Our server at the bar was friendly and welcoming. She quickly served us water and provided us with a "cheat sheet" of the available beverages. There is no written food menu. Numerous QR code cards are posted asking you to use your phone to read the food menu. A soda ($3.50) for my wife and a 20 oz. draft Modelo ($7.50) for me were quickly served. Most impressive was how quickly the kitchen served our apps. 5 minutes! Yes, FIVE MINUTES! Crinkle Cut Fries ($6) and Uber Cheese Stixs ($13). I've never had fries from Nathans so I can't attest whether these compare fairly as implied by the menu. But I grew up on crinkle cut fries that my Mom made, and hers were better. My wife thought that many of these fries seemed like they were dehydrated. The menu says that the Uber Cheese Stixs are house made with 5 types of cheeses and a corn flake breading. The breading was nice and crispy and the cheese inside was soft to almost runny. The best part IMO was the melba sauce. Our two 8-inch square (6 pieces each) pizzas were delivered in a very reasonable 15 minutes. My wife went with the weekly special Shrimp Scampi ($17). I choose the basic cheese pizza with San Marzano tomatoes ($12) and added three toppings (sausage, mushrooms, & peppers) for $7 more. Both of our pizzas were flavorful and were actually more flavorful the second day - although less crispy, of course. Just like I've never been to Nathans for fries, I've never had pizza in Detroit. If I'm comparing Detroit Style pizza in Colonie with Detroit Style pizza in Saratoga Springs, I would prefer Saratoga. While KB&G has an airy dough, I think Whitman's is slightly lighter and airier. Both have nice crispy cheese edges, but KB&G edge is oilier. Somebody let me know what days/times are the slowest. I'd like to return.

I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars
