I stopped in at The Hedge Bistro for a late lunch and to cool off on a very sunny and humid day. I sat up at the bar and given their soft opening menu. I got an ice quickly ordered the All American Burger ($13 plus tax) with fries. My food was served to me in 12 minutes after ordering. The burger was served open face with tomato slices, crisp lettuce, red onions, blue cheese crumbles (my choice on top of a firm fresh grilled beef burger patty on a soft toasted bun. The hot golden coated fries were typical crisp outside and soft inside, ketchup cup provided on plate (could've used a bit more). After I was finished, I got the check which was $14.04 with tax before tip (paying cash) or $14.60 with tax before tip (paying by card) and of course I went with the green option. Overall, a pretty good burger and fries lunch in a cool place. Afterwards, I headed back outside towards the greens and it was very steamy out there.
