Amazing service and even more amazing breakfast! I dined here two mornings in a row while staying at the Sun Rose and was pleasantly surprised with how phenomenal the food was! The first morning, I had the Breakfast Burrito. It was a great combination of flavors and had a delicious sauce on the side. My favorite was the Salmon Bagel I had. They present it as a giant plate of salmon with tomatoes, capers, and chive cream cheese on a separate plate than the huge toasted bagel. All of that was SO phenomenal and such a large portion. The Berry Danish was also so so delicious. I don't love the taste of their coffee but that's just a personal preference. I definitely recommend stopping by here for breakfast or just to grab a pastry! Great views and great quality! read more

Ospero is Back Baby! I sorely missed this place. I would stop by just about every day and it was worth it. Love the coffee and the pastries are oh so good. Someone told me that they reopened (Previous Pendry Management completely ruined this place) I'm told that this is so far kind of a soft opening so I am hoping the full experience will follow soon. Shocked at how bad this place was. We stayed at Sun Rose twice and enjoyed the experience. Staff is great and the restaurant on the roof is superb. So I was surprised that the place attached to the hotel that is servicing guests for breakfast would be this terrible. Our last day on our most recent trip, we were strapped for time and grabbed breakfast here. We ordered drip coffee, a breakfast burrito, blueberry pancakes, and a hot chocolate. The coffee tasted like airplane/bad diner coffee, the kind where you can smell the poor quality roast and when you add the creamer the color turns an ugly green-brown. The burrito was oily and had some type of seasoning in it that tasted really off. And the hot chocolate was weak and bland tasting, possibly packaged. I asked again to see the menu and they told me they aren't serving food. I said great and asked for the coffee menu. Located inside the Pendry hotel, this place is perfect to enjoy great food. We started off with the meatballs and crispy calamari. The meatballs and its sauce compliment each other. It's so tender and the sauce was not overwhelming. The crispy calamari was fried with lemon slices which gave the it a nice citrusy refreshing taste. The smoked salmon pizza is a must. If you want to try Wolfgang Puck's salmon pizza but don't want to pay the higher price tag at Spago's, then this is the place to go. Of course, you can also choose to add caviar ($75 more I think). The Branzino was so fresh as well just be careful with some of the bones as the fish is not completely deboned. The chocolate and carrot cake were also delicious. I entered from hotel side so it was confusing. Employees dont acknowledge you so I had to stop an employee to ask where entrance is. Arrived @ 1030 & seated. Small place but good ambiance. Waited on my additional party to arrive. Waitress was attentive until we placed our order and we saw her twice after we got our food. She forgot a side order and didnt ask if we wanted more to drink. Seems she was thee only person for Sunday brunch. Another table sat before me & had to flag someone to get a menu after waiting 20 minutes at the table. Food is fresh and hot. Food was delicious. This quaint cafe has a dope euro style and delicious food. The portions are amazing for what you lay for. It was my first time here and I played it safe with some chicken apple sausage, coffee, toast, and a smoked salmon plate. There was enough salmon to feed a baby whale and I enjoyed every bite of it. The pictures will show. The chicken apple sausage was delicious and so too was the sour dough toast. The coffee is good and served in big cups. The service is professional but not remarkable. They get the job done but didn't make any effort to be friendly or nice but with food this good, you'll accept professional and maybe even mildly bad service haha. Once before the Blackpink concert and the following day for breakfast since we were staying across the street. We started off with an espresso martini. I was totally in love with this. For supper, we had calamari, which was cooked to perfection. Nothing is worse than rubbery calamari. Then we ordered the butternut squash soup with fig toast. This was definitely savory and filling. I found ospero on Yelp and we decided to just walk because again it was so close to our hotel. The employee in the front was great! And was super patient with my indecisive a** there was just so many pastries to choose from that i couldn't make up my mind. but in the end I got a tiramisu cake and a simple latte. Their drink menu does not have that much variety nor do they have flavored syrups. So if you're looking for something like that there's a Starbucks not far away either. But anyways! Located within the Pendry Hotel. I was excited to come here because I always have the absolute best experiences with anything associated with the Pendry Hotels. Today Ospero hosted Pizza & A Spritz. There were different gourmet pizzas and the menu had a fair number of Spritz options. I decided to go with the Hugo on Holiday Spritz which was absolutely delicious. It was refreshing, but still had a little kick to it. The four cheese pizza was fresh and flavorful. The service was pretty good. Our server was attentive and really nice. Went here for dinner with friends. The place is part of the Pendry hotel. They let you park for 2 hours free at their valet so you can eat at Ospero. That's very nice of them. The entrance to the valet is behind the hotel. Their lobby has a neat light up hexagon piece of art. Pretty cool. You take the elevator up to the third floor I think. The elevator opens up to the back of the restaurant so just walk to the front to be seated. We had reservations but it wasn't busy when we came at 7:15 on a Thursday. They let us pick our table. There was about a dozen people dinning inside. We ordered drinks and the waiter brought my friends drinks but said they were out of Remy and had to go downstairs to get it. It had been about 7 minutes or more and still no drink. The waiter was just hanging out with the bartender. He finally came over and said that they don't have any Remy Martin. I ordered another drink but he could of told me earlier. Started with the Caesars salad which was good. Then ordered 2 of the house made lamb pizza. I should of ordered a different pizza so we could of tasted more kinds. My wife got the gluten free salmon pizza. I would of loved that on regular crust. I always wanted to try the infamous smoked salmon pizza by Wolfgang Puck. I ordered it with gluten free dough. I also order a Caesar salad. The Caesar Salad was awesome. Came to Ospero for their pizza and spritz afternoon which occurs Tuesday to Saturday from 3-6pm per the ad. 2 spritz and a whole pie for $39, how can you not want to try it. I was a little frustrated that when we got there at 3pm after calling days before to confirm it was happening at this time, I was told it started at 4pm. And especially since the menu they handed us said 3pm as well. Regardless, we eventually got it sorted out and got our meals which was great! There were 8 of us but my husband and I shared the pepperoni pizza and prosciutto pizza which were both very good! The spritz were excellent. We were able to eat outdoors and something I appreciated was that restaurants in West Hollywood still adhere to social distancing....we sat a table a part from other guests, which made for a more private time together. The food is undistinguished and while I can afford it, I can't justify its price. The crust of the sausage pizza was chewy and really tough to bite without using a fork. The Caesar salad was boring. 3 stars for the food, and an extra 1 star for the decor and drinks. This really is a lovely spot in West Hollywood with a decent view of DTLA. The interior is great photo op, with the deep forest green theme evoking a very classic vibe. Perhaps one of the best espresso martinis I had, as well! I was impressed with the charcuterie board and didn't quite mind the $32 for it. However, I was disappointed with the pasta I ordered. I love that they offer gluten free pizza and pasta substitutes, but for mine our server said he'd double check then just didn't let me know (so I'm still wondering if it really was GF!). The spicy rigatoni was OK at best-- seems like something I could make myself. We also tried their special Salmon Pizza and added caviar to it for the extra $75. Though it was delicious, I'd say it's more of a glorified lox bagel. The lamb sausage pizza was delicious, but beware of the peppers! They're spicier than they appear. So hows the food? -Smoked Salmon Pizza $35: Ok let me just start with, I'm not a huge fan of smoked salmon. Its generally too fishy or salty for my taste buds. But SALMONE tell me why this was so clean AND EASY T? The dill cream added a refreshing factor and balanced the taste out well. The salmon roe added a nice texture while also still not making it overly salty. The pizza crust on this bad boy was AMAZING, ive never had a chip thin crust before. Life changing -Lamb Sausage Pizza $18: Roasted onions, mushrooms, calabrian chile This pizza was SO aromatic, right off the bat we get a STRONG scent of the lamb sausage roasted onions & mushrooms. The calabrian chile added a small dose of heat . This is prob some of the best sausage ive had. Unfortunately the oil made it slightly soggy and not as crispy as the salmon. -Cheese Ravioli $21: These brown butter cheese ravioli's with hazelnut and sage garnish were absolutely amazing. The ravioli was chewy with a generous cheesy filling. The hazelnut and sage although minor elevated the bite sized pieces. -Pappardelle $26 Without a doubt the best pappardelle i've ever had. The noods were CHEWY, the braised oxtail were tender AF. The ragout sauce had a comfort homey feeling to it and cheese ontop is chefs kiss. We went for a leisurely afternoon meal with friends who live in the neighborhood. If I hadn't planned this event, I would never have noticed Ospero (which I would translate loosely as "Audacious", if they were to use an English idiom as their name) in the Pendry, which itself is rather unremarkable looking. Once inside this ground level restaurant, though, a serene streamlined atmosphere awaits. Everyone working there was masked and uniformed, giving the silver, white and black environment a modern, organized sensibility. We were led past the Sunset-sidewalk dining through the restaurant and bar, both compact but sleek, to the long and narrow rear balcony dining area and seated in a secluded spot with a lovely view of Downtown LA in the distance. This area also overlooked a large, attractive parking lot where your car will be kept, off the street, if you choose their valet service. As it was, we walked from another area so we didn't use it, but this is one place where your car will be well protected with ample room around it. There also appears to be a parking garage across the street, but when I called to find out if it was available, the receptionist at Ospero told me there was no garage parking. A puzzle you might solve yourselves. The service was friendly and efficient, if a bit confusing. At one point our waiter, Irwin, was on and off break, but he took care of us well. We also had the manager, Jackie (who had been a professional chef for almost a decade, herself), come several times to make sure we had everything we needed. She brought some terrific, high rimmed "share" plates that looked ovenable. Nice! Two of us ordered the spaghettini that was swirled into a conical nest and quite aromatic. One person ordered the mushroom pizza which was probably about 14" in diameter, beautifully crisp yet moist, and likely enough for two people at lunch. I had the huevos rancheros with two perfectly soft boiled eggs atop a stack of corn tortillas sitting on a shallow pond of rich, thick, red enchilada-style sauce and accompanied by jet black beans. It was delicious and enough, again, for two to share. Why a 4 and not a 5? We were not offered any dessert or coffee, which we might have accepted had we been asked. I think that might be because we came in 30 minutes before the end of brunch service, but they should know enough not to cut any meal short, especially when we made a reservation over almost three weeks in advance. Also, my seat was in full sun for half the meal, against which I had to wear my sunglasses -- someone in the staff should have noticed and adjusted the umbrellas that were nearby. Finally, I ordered iced tea and it never arrived. All in all, I see this as a pleasant neighborhood place to pop in for an informal meal during the day. If I lived in the area, I could envision walking to it and sitting out back to view the city lights glittering in the distance, especially during and after sunset. To give them credit, the tariff was very reasonable, well below average for an above average experience overall. If the occasion arises, definitely give Ospero a try, it will be well worth it. read more

I'll start with the good. The interior of the restaurant is classy as is the nice decor. Our waiter was attentive and had a positive attitude. Two of my friends ordered the Prawn Linguine and Roast Half Jidori Chicken. They both said their food was good, it didn't sound like they were blown away though. Onto the mixed. My third friend and I shared the Charred Eggplant Dip. I thought the pita bread it came with was delicious while my friend didn't like it. We both agreed that the actual eggplant dip was nothing to write home about and lackluster in flavor. I preferred the pita plain which isn't a good look when the dip was supposed to be the star. The bad. I also shared the Smoked Salmon Pizza with my friend and it was terrible. We ordered it because it shows up in many of the photos on Yelp as well as being listed twice as "Popular dishes" by Yelp. There were also multiple reviews mentioning it. Despite all this, I can confidently say that it was awful and my friend agreed. We both love salmon as well as smoked salmon but it was just terrible. The crust was good but that's the only redeeming quality. We mentioned to our waiter how bad the pizza was while paying the bill and he said we should've asked him for a recommendation. He would've suggested the House Made Lamb Sausage Pizza. He's right, I should've asked, but also such a prominent attention grabbing menu item shouldn't be terrible. I debated how to rate this restaurant and finally settled on one star because while the interior was nice, the "star" menu item was awful. At the end of the day a restaurant is no better than it's food. I came here to eat and left highly disappointed. I couldn't see myself coming here again unless there was a menu rework and my friend who shared the smoked salmon pizza agreed. This is a great new restaurant on Sunset! I heard of Wolfgang opening up some new restaurants in the Pendry and this one lives up to the Wolfgang standards! I would recommend all to get a reservation so they can request to sit on the backside patio. You will have a view of downtown and the coast. The Pendry residence building is also in front of you but you can see the views on the sides. They have plenty of heaters if it's cold, but we had ours on low and the wind kept blowing it out. Luckily the table next to us had theirs on full blast. For parking, we were lucky enough to find on the street street but they have valet. Our waitress, Paulina, was wonderful and helped us with everything. She was very quick to handle a situation with our food as well. Topnotch waitress! We ordered the tuna tartar, smoked salmon pizza, oxtail pappardelle, chocolate cake and tiramisu. 1) Tuna Tartar - refreshing appetizer to start the meal. The small crostini are a little too crunchy but they work. 2) Smoked Salmon Pizza - Amazing! It's the same recipe they have at Spago, but we thought the dough was lighter and fluffy. Must get! 3) Oxtail Pappardelle - Best pasta on the menu in our opinion. The pasta was fresh and the oxtail melted in your mouth. 4) Chocolate Cake - Rich and chocolaty! 5) Tiramisu - Very light and moist. Our family (adults and teens) really enjoyed this restaurant. Our boys loved the steak - they had it two times in one week. The kale salad with beets was great. Also the basque cheesecake was delish. The cookies were yummm. The service was attentive and warm. The restaurant noise level was on the quiet side and it had a cool and clean ambiance which we enjoyed. We will be back! read more

This place was great, we just walked in and was surprised by the great view and location outside the back and that's where we decided to eat and watch the sunset go down over DTLA with some oysters and pizza and two glasses of wine with a kale salad and a side of kale (total for all was $180 including tip) this definitely lived up to the hype which is Wolfgang Puck and although a little pricey ut definitely is worth going and enjoying the experience which would be the building location, ambience and great food read more

Ospero is located in the new Pendry in Beverly Hills. Tried Ospero for breakfast and lunch! Beautiful place with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered at the register by pastry case filled with numerous baked goods including banana bread and a cinnamon roll. Their coffee is excellent, the iced latte so smooth. The egg sandwich on a toasted everything bagel was excellent. It originally comes on a croissant. The Sunset Breakfast can be made with eggs and breakfast meat of your choice. Also very good! There's a wood fire oven baking pizzas to order. The pizza dough was out of this world. I loved the Spicy Chicken Pizza and Prosciutto Pizza. Wolfgang Puck's pizzas are a must try. They also offer several pasta dishes as well as a branzino, jidori chicken and skirt steak. Tip: you can order from their menu at the pool and they will bring it up for you! read more
