Ricotta pancakes Homemade ricotta pancakes with raisin, orange zest, organic maple syrup and fresh berries.

ABOUT Emilia is a beautiful, classy Italian restaurant. It is close to Cedars Sinai Hospital. It is next door to Trader Joe's which is in the same building. PARKING (IMPORTANT) Park in the Trader Joe's parking lot around the corner for free validated parking from the restaurant (2.5 hour validation). There is also metered parking on the street but it can be tough to find. OUR ORDER For breakfast or brunch I highly suggest the ricotta pancakes. They are very light and fluffy and come with fresh fruit and syrup. My dining companion also loved the frittata bianca which was a vegetable frittata that came with a side of potatoes or fruit. Portions sizes were generous. Food was delicious. AMBIANCE AND SERVICE Service is so nice and friendly here. They are very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere and music was very relaxing. It was not very busy for weekday breakfast so it's nice if you want to go somewhere more low-key. They do have an outdoor patio but the art deco inside is the way to go, in my opinion. Also, there is counter space inside which would be a comfortable place to eat solo. PRO TIP Emilia is part of the Caruso rewards program (ie. rewards for shopping the Caruso owned businesses like The Grove and Americana at Brand etc.). Download the Caruso Signature app and upload the credit card you will be using. Also check in on the app to earn rewards on your dining purchase and/or if you already have enough points on the app, you can use your credit from shopping at other Caruso destinations to redeem a dining reward here. They also give you a reward for your birthday which can be used at Emilia. WHO IS EMILIA? There is no person named Emilia. Emilia is actually a place in Italy. According to my research on the Internet, the region is known for its delicious food. ADDITIONALLY You can make reservations through Opentable. They had a special truffle menu which I did not try since I was there for breakfast but truffles are a real delicacy and can be a delicious splurge. I think it's a very cool feature. Buon appetito!

Food is good. I had the focaccia with mozzarella, tomatoes and arugula. It's big and comes with a sunny side egg but with black pepper on it. French toast is good - not my favorite because it's too cinnamon-ee for me. Prosciutto with melon - dad says outstanding. Frittata Bianca with the whole egg - very good my partner says. Julio was the best part ! The heat is the only unfortunate thing. Dad was sweating the whole time and there was nothing to be done.

My daughter and I had dinner here last night after spending the day at a museum. The decor is very nice. Lots of natural light, cute color scheme and furniture (has a bit of European feel to it). The service was good. Although there is not a lot of street parking, you can park in the building garage, and the restaurant will validate. My daughter and I specifically chose this restaurant as she wanted linguine with clams, and I saw this restaurant had that on their permanent menu. Their menu is not extensive (less than 10 pasta dishes). We were the first table seated on a Saturday night. When we left, there were only 2 other tables seated. They bring out some bread and breadsticks, both of which were good. They also bring out some julienned vegetables, which I've never seen before and didn't really get. We had: Fried Calamari (4.5/5) - best dish of the night. Lightly breaded, perfectly fried and the calamari had a lot of flavor. Came with some fried zucchini as well. Comes with accompanying marinara and ranch sauces. Tagliatelle alla Bolognese (4/5) - Good version of a standard bolognese dish. Linguine with "clams" (2/5) - As I mentioned, this was the reason we came here. We were also the first table seated on a Saturday night. When we ordered this and the bolognese, the waiter told us these 2 were the most popular pasta dishes at the restaurant. Unfortunately, he came back a few minutes later to tell us they had "run out of clams." Very disappointing given they only have 9 pasta dishes on the menu and claim this is one of their signature dishes. Wouldn't most restaurants be "ready" for the Sat night crowd? We got to the restaurant a bit before they opened and saw what I assumed was the staff meeting prior to opening. They don't talk about what they have/don't have? He said they could substitute shrimp. Given the limited alternatives, we agreed. The shrimp was pretty sad. The overall dish had a bitter aftertaste. It just seems to me that for a restaurant to conduct business this way just seems like they don't care anymore. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Enjoyed a nice brunch following a surgery at Cedars. The ambiance was open, bright and airy. Started with a bold cafe latte paired with a scrumptious Italian donut filled with strawberry jam. I enjoyed the veggie frittata accompanied by a lightly dressed fresh salad and sour dough toast. Attentive service and outdoor seating. Nearby parking underground by Trader Joes.

Slow service and food was not great. I came for dinner at 7pm on a Saturday night and it was empty . I ordered the carcofi salad, cacio pepe risotto and steak salad . Nothing tasted good and it took almost an hour for the entrees to come out. I asked the steak to be cooked medium -well and it came out medium -rare. I ended up sending it back to get it cooked more. They also messed up on the risotto and had to make it again because they added asparagus instead of mushroom. For an empty restaurant , I expected better service and zero mistakes . I will definitely not be coming back .

Lovely calm restaurant that never disappoints with tasty food. The Benedict brunch is de'lish! Edward is always very accommodating and makes us feel welcome and at home.

About a century ago it was a studio for silent film star Charlie Chaplin and later a library for Sherman, which was the name of West Hollywood before it was incorporated. So this is a beautiful and historic location with a fascinating history, V Wine Room serves about 30 different wines by the glass and a large selection by the bottle, mostly small California wineries from the Napa Valley. The menu also features sparkling wines, natural wines and sakes from small Japanese producers. They have food to accompany the drinks as well: delicious Roman-style pizzas, cheese boards and charcuterie, fish and even chocolate. I've always managed to find free parking on side streets just up the street like on West Knoll for a couple hours, but there's also valet parking right in front and a city parking lot about a block west

I didn't make it here until March 2026 and after my first visit, I'm sorry I didn't come earlier. My husband and I came here on a Sunday night, with a last minute reservation I'd made on Resy. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we came in around 5:30ish. A lot of the tables were empty. They had both indoor and outdoor dining available, but the majority of the seats were indoor. The ambiance here is dark and chic, it reminded me very much of restaurants in NYC. It would make for a good spot for a date night or girls' night out. We made it here in time to order one thing from their happy hour menu, the tater tots. These were heavy but moreish, it was hard to stop eating them even when my stomach was telling me I was full. We also shared the corn, which I believe may have been a special/seasonal dish. It will go down as one of the best corn dishes I've ever eaten in a restaurant. My husband got the burger for his main and I got the mussels. The mussels were pretty fresh and silky, and were overall excellent, but I didn't love the broth they came in. My husband's burger was fantastic. It's one of the best burgers I've eaten at a restaurant in LA. Service was lovely and efficient. Round 1 Polpettine (meatballs) are made from lentils and texture similar to the real ones; lovely marinara sauce and ground macadamia nut instead of parmesan. We originally…read morewanted to try another restaurant, but it was completely booked, so we looked for somewhere new to explore. Met Him At A Bar seemed like a good option, and one of my girlfriends made a reservation for four. Our reservation was at 7:00 PM. I street-parked and walked to the restaurant, where one of my friends was waiting outside. I asked why she wasn't sitting at our table, and she told me that our table was right by the entrance. She didn't like that spot and thought the tables farther inside looked much more comfortable and cozy. Since people were sitting at one of those tables, she wanted to wait until they left. Personally, I thought the table by the entrance was perfectly fine, but I was also STARVING! Another friend arrived and also disliked the table, so we decided to wait. After a while, I was getting way too hungry, so we sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks while waiting. I first ordered the Garlic Shrimp and asked if it was spicy. I was told it was, so I asked if they could make it without the spice because I can't eat spicy food. He said he would check with the kitchen, but since I was starving and it sounded like it might take too long, I changed my order to Garlic Bread. One of my girlfriends ordered a glass of wine, and since she had made the reservation and gone through the trouble of arranging everything, I treated her to the wine and garlic bread. Then, of course, our friend who is ALWAYS late arrived about 30 minutes late! By then, the rest of us had already decided what to order from the Dine LA menu. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible, so we ordered different items and shared everything. When our late friend arrived, we ordered his dishes separately. For the first course, we had Caesar Salad, Bruschetta, and Meatballs. For the second course, we ordered Rigatoni Vodka, Cacio e Pepe, and Margherita Pizza. For dessert, everyone ordered Tiramisu. Overall, I thought the food was good. My favorites were the Bruschetta, Meatballs, Rigatoni Vodka, and Tiramisu. The Cacio e Pepe was not my favorite because I thought they used way too much black pepper, and my other friends agreed. Our group had mixed reactions overall. Except for one person, the other two felt the food didn't quite live up to their expectations and were somewhat disappointed. But everyone's taste is different, so I completely understand. Considering how expensive everything has become these days, I thought the Dine LA price was pretty reasonable. It was $45 per person, and with tax and tip, it came to $60 each. For that price, I thought the amount of food and the overall experience were pretty good. I also really appreciated how friendly and attentive all the staff members were. I usually don't drink alcohol, and especially when I'm driving, I NEVER drink--not even a sip. That has been my personal rule for decades. So I just ordered water, and I loved how the staff kept coming by and refilling my glass whenever it got low. I drink a LOT of water, so I really appreciated their attentiveness. Now, about parking: valet parking is $17. I decided to street-park instead. One of my friends also street-parked, but unfortunately she got a parking ticket and was VERY upset. I had originally found a spot where a sign said a parking permit was required, so I decided not to take the risk and moved my car. Before leaving, I asked a man walking his dog if it was okay to park there. He said he had seen many cars parked there and they had been fine, but I still didn't trust it because the sign clearly said permits were required. I told him, "I don't think that's allowed." He was very nice and suggested going about three blocks farther, where there was plenty of street parking without a permit. I followed his advice and parked there. Unfortunately, my friend who stayed in the permit-only spot ended up getting a ticket. Another friend parked in the parking structure across the street and said it cost $18. Since I had parked farther away and didn't want to walk alone at night, I asked him to drop me off at my car after dinner, and he kindly did. So my parking recommendation is to use the $17 valet or street-park about three blocks away where no permit is required. I definitely would NOT recommend parking in the permit-only spaces unless you want to risk getting a ticket. One of the funniest things about this neighborhood is the restaurant names. The restaurant we went to is called "Met Him At A Bar," and literally right across the street is "Met Her At A Bar." There's also another restaurant called "The Night We Met." I have to say, the names are pretty creative and definitely make this neighborhood more fun! Overall, we had a fun evening together, and for $60 per person including tax and tip, I thought it was a pretty decent Dine LA experience.

Daisy was literally the sweetest we've come across in a long time in terms of Customer Service not only was she attentive, but she was caring. She was very much involved and just array of sunshine. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy honestly it felt like she was one of the girls. We all had an instant connection and almost felt like we were friends. We shared a lot of laughs and stories and I don't think I've had an experience like that before she's special. Everyone in the party loved her and honestly wanted to take her with us We were a party of 10 so she definitely had her handful but she took care of us and we love her for that. She definitely helped in celebrating this special moment. I also would like to give a shout out to Raymundo one of the other workers that helped us in a bachelorette dare to find someone to serenade the bride to be and he's sang this beautiful Spanish ballad. It just was an overall sweet experience and I thank them for helping us wrap this special day in a bow! As for the food delicious the charcuterie board is sooooooo good. Oh my goodness the oven baked brie bread with truffle on it blew my mind. I would honestly come back here and just eat that all day but because our experience was so amazing especially with Daisy I would definitely come back with my crew just to see her again.

I happened to be making an early morning delivery down the street at Allo and had always been curious about Wally's $39 lunch prix fixe menu. Honestly, it sounded almost too good to be true. I walked in right when they opened at 11:32 a.m. and grabbed a seat at the bar. My bartender and server, Shaline A., absolutely made my day. She was warm, welcoming, attentive, and provided genuine hospitality from start to finish. I started with the Caesar salad (with anchovies). Personally, I think a traditional Caesar should always have anchovies they're part of what makes it so special. For my entrée, I had the dorade fish], and it was beautifully prepared. Every bite reflected the quality and attention to detail that Wally's is known for. To finish, I enjoyed the cheese plate featuring a truffle cheese that day. Let me tell you... A+! It was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the service to the food and the overall experience, Wally's exceeded my expectations. The $39 prix fixe lunch is an incredible value for the quality you receive. I highly recommend stopping by, and I'll definitely be back.
