Fabulous place. The ambiance was amazing. Staff was wonderful! We came in for happy hour and definitely worth it. We only had drinks and they were good. I will definitely come back!
Came on a weekday night. Place was crowded with only one seat available at the bar. Didn't get carded. Just walked in. The decor was really nice. Didn't stay due to lack of seating. Will return for Happy Hour.
Visited for the first time on Sunday and to my surprise they had Happy Hour martinis . We were there a couple hours and had a great time. Our server Matt was a gem, he made our experience even better. The place has a nostalgic feel to it, small and golden. Definitely will come back next time I'm in the area.
I liked the concept of this bar - a working bar during the day! I visited this bar on an early Sunday afternoon to get some work done and my experience was pretty good. The interior was your typical bar setting with bar seating as well as small tables and chairs available throughout the space. While none of the chairs had back support, it was still relatively okay. They had WiFi and charging outlets as well. For drinks, I ordered one of their mocktails. I forgot the name, but it had watermelon in it. It was pretty good and tasty! I loved how all the fruity flavors meshed well together and that no one flavor was too overpowering. It was refreshing on a sunny day. The service here was also great. I liked the effort our bar tender gave to accommodate my friend and I such as pushing the small tables together to give us more room. Overall, a great experience here and I would come back to work/study here!
My friend and I came over to OR Bar for coffee after chilling a patio nearby, not realizing that it was a true WeHo bar with a full coffee shop menu for many folks. There were quite a few folks on dates, and others were present for Trivia night which we participated in. Overall the staff was nice, service was quick and I was very cozy inside.
I visited during the day to cowork and while the atmosphere was pleasant, the quiche was an abomination. No way it wasn't made days prior and microwaved. Very hard to eat, but the menu is starved for other options. I enjoyed the Light & Stormy adaptogenic mocktail thoroughly, but $20 for a non alcoholic beverage is still insane to me. At night, this place stuns. Friendly staff..
The interior design of the bar is gorgeous and intimidating, but the staff are incredible in their warmth and friendliness. We found seats very easily and a server came to make sure we were comfortable right away. Drinks are delicious and come out fast.

I've never had a bad cocktail here. I especially love the espresso martinis! It's always nice to sit on the banquettes, and depending on the night, you might make some new friends if it's crowded. Service is always quick, too. A reliable cocktail spot in the neighborhood for sure!
It's such a shame they took Daniel Berilla off trivia night. I never go out but I loved going to support him and the bar. Not sure what happened but he was the best part of trivia night.

Maybe I am too picky, but I wasn't ready for such a strong tequila taste. But! The cocktail lasted about an hour or so. The OR Bar is extraordinary entity and truly personifies surviving an entire global pandemic with style. Gold Coast on the edge of West Hollywood has always to me book ended both parts of boystown with the grit of Motherload. But. Not. Any. More. Or Ever again, honey. This diamond in the rough is polished and ready to gleam! Its interior could not be more upgraded and beautiful and harkens back to a Helmut Newton era of the 1970s Halston era in every possible way. The never-ending complex chandelier of gemstones and jewels is devastatingly dreamy and painstakingly beautiful. Phenomenal artists were obsessed with this place and it shows. There are great people who work here from the servers to bartenders to the very very special Constance Cooper. Constance is more than a maître D she is the D.J. of your evening. It's important to note they have very special hours too and are open in daytimes too so check after waking up as this is a perfect spot to start the party back up again! As a local since 2007, I am so happy to have rediscovered Gold Coast in this era as ar and so happy about their new approval for a back patio for all of us to enjoy for years to come. The OR Bar like most things in West Hollywood is 'a survivor and it's gonna make it!'
We came to this bar to check it out and I wasn't at all disappointed. The ambiance is beautiful, there's plenty of seating and the crowd was fun. Our bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. We had two rounds of drinks and they were delicious! Throughout the menu there are many different types of drinks. I had the p* martini and the passionfruit mojito, both were well crafted. We stayed for trivia and it was so much fun! It helps we came in third for one round but also the atmosphere was so fun and welcoming.

Its a beautiful bar. The decor is giving rich new York. Gold accessories and black as yhe main color. Chic. The service is wonderful. Our bar tender Joel? was so nice and chill. We came for lunch so we just got lattes and brekkie foods. A no frills matcha latte and hot chocolate hit the spot for us. Solid breakfast burrito but the sauce makes it! read more

I had no idea this place existed until a friend who used to live in the area suggested we check it out. We stopped by on a Monday around 8pm and it was surprisingly quiet at first, but before long people started walking in for Trivia Night and the atmosphere became much livelier. OR Bar has a really stylish, welcoming vibe. The black and gold decor, artwork, and chandeliers give it an upscale feel. I also like that it's more than just a nighttime spot. During the day, people come in to work, enjoy coffee, and just hang out, which gives it a nice neighborhood vibe. I ordered an Angry Orchard Cider and my friend ordered one of their Espress-OR Martinis. It looked great but it was strong! If you are an espresso martini fan who likes this style of drink, you will probably enjoy it. There are metered spaces behind the bar and there is also residential street parking nearby if you pay attention to the posted signs. Overall, this was a fun find and I can definitely see why it has become a neighborhood favorite. I would come back to try more of the cocktails and experience another Trivia Night. read more
PRIDE weekend is always a good time to be in WeHo. Jamie W and I flew down earlier this month and wasted little time looking for the buzz-worthy bars to patronize. Funnily enough, The Infatuation, of all resources, ranked this spot as the top gay bar among the twenty currently in business in WeHo. It's conveniently located a couple of blocks from Hamburger Mary's where we had reservations for the drag show. I know what you're thinking. So predictable. Anyway, we had time for a round before the show. The big black door did not give us an indication of what was inside, but the 1970's art deco font of the bar name did. Inside it felt more like a Studio 54-era lounge with a big rectangular bar in the middle. However, the owners managed to avert tackiness and provide comfy plushness. The period artwork, gray banquettes, and massive amoeba-shaped chandeliers add to the sophisticated ambiance. This was definitely not the typical WeHo club west of La Cienega. There's no dance floor, so you won't hear clunky platform shoes on a rainbow florescent floor. However, you'll likely hear classic Donna Summer or Earth, Wind & Fire wafting through the space. With their black, open-collar shirts and untied sequin bow ties, the bartenders were cute and attentive. We were all set for the evening with the $15 Espresso Martinis with their house vodka (Photo 10). OR is one of my fave places. Omar and Darren are always the best. I've come here for coffee or do some work, a casual day out, or a chill evening situation. UNASSUMING ON THE OUTSIDE, STUNNING ON THE INSIDE PROS-------- Ambiance: The decor, the vibes, the opulence, the glamour...immaculate. Such a cool space to go grab a bite and drink with some friends to talk and catch up. We came on a Thursday evening with no problem finding a spot to sit at. Drinks: All the drinks were delicious, from the cocktails to the mocktails, nothing was a let down. Music: I may be old, but it was so refreshing to be at a bar with good at a reasonable volume so we could talk. And the disco tunes from across the decades were amazing CONS------- Nothing! read more

This is a coffee shop slash bar, so they serve stuff that will wake you up and put you back to sleep. I finally checked it out when I drove by and someone was having a campaign race thing going on yesterday. So I just crashed. Yup guys sorry I didn't sign up y'all know it. I had leggings on and no dresswear. The free Calabrese panini was good tho. And since they found my handbag I forgot I got coffee too. OR has the old punch cards from decades ago so I appreciate that throwback. The interior as you can see is pretty classically upscale with chandeliers. Idk it I'll come back though, I was noticeably, how do I say...not a gay man in WeHo, and also obviously not going to drink, so I just watched everyone mingle. I wasn't expecting to be waited on for coffee but I have no one here to meet demographics wise, sorry. I did talk to some people to not look super out of place but mostly worked on my dog activities on my phone then left. Don't appreciate they don't take cash. Cash is king. Not all money should exist in the stratosphere where it can be manipulated by those up top. Another argument for another time. But that does affect my returning here. read more
It was our first time here and I am so glad I found this place! Honestly I was looking for a place that served a great cosmo! And I mean not in a coupe glass like a lot of new places do now. No. A coupe is not a martini. I love a beautiful martini glass and I literally chose this place knowing that they have beautiful martinis! That being said, we sat at the bar top (we prefer over a table) and Matthew took amazing care of us! I love the vibe already with the beautiful chandelier and decor. Drinks are fantastic! I'm obsessed with cosmos right now so I got their version of it and my fiancé got the OR Old Fashioned. We had reservations down the street and needed a little happy hour before dinner. They have an amazing happy hour: I got pics of most of the menu. It got busy after we arrived a little after 6pm so it's a popular spot. We parked on the street with metered parking so we got lucky, otherwise I'm not sure about parking: I think there is a paid lot behind the building. I loved the atmosphere and surprisingly loved the trivia (which I normally do not.) The drinks were as beautiful as the lighting, however a bit pricey so be prepared. Would definitely go back but stick to happy hour to mediate the price of drinks. The servers were kind and helpful. Would love to come back again for drinks and trivia! read more

Celebrated my birthday here and Darren was extremely helpful getting the space reserved. If you do their birthday package, there are custom cocktail options per whose birthday it is! Already liked OR Bar as a spot to go for a drink with friends but LOVED celebrating my birthday here-- the staff (Evan) was amazing and made sure I had a great birthday, drink orders were always being taken, and the hospitality... immaculate. If you're looking to celebrate your birthday or just go for a quick drink with friends you'll love this bar and the ambiance! Can't thank them enough for making my birthday so memorable. read more

What started as a bathroom break became a fun pitstop for a cocktail. The OR bar is a stylish upscale feel with a casual vibe. I love the branding and the sense you come as you are. The music was great and the seating is made for small groups of two that can easily expand. The seasonal drink menu was refreshing and for the summer seasons vibe. The bartender wasn't pushy and gave us great suggestions for drinks. They have a theme thats not over the top and it works beautifully from the staffs attire to the curtains and the decorations. Just tasteful! I got the twig and berries and my fiancé got the Yass queen! Both really refreshing. read more

The old school, decades old Gold Coast Bar, that felt lIke a down home saloon from the early 20th century where you could grab peanuts from a barrel, shuck the shells and throw them on the floor, has been transformed into a Lalique butterfly. The founders of Or wanted to go back to "French Disco Era Décadence". Or is French for gold in homage to the Gold Coast that closed due to the Covid Pandemic. Côte d'Or would have been a cool appellation since it literally means Gold Coast as well as naming a region famous for its Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. Expect chic, loungy ambiance. Elegant banquette seating, low plush furniture, high tops for varied social configurations. The lighting here is ethereal. The only comparable is at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, the mother church of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. There you have to get on your knees to pray which may be possible at Or if the mood strikes. Bougie Cocktails ranging from $16 to $22 such as Stevie's Money Shot, The Liberace set the pace for a Gay Old Time. There is wine, beer (Belching Beaver Miso Honey is intriguing.), and various non-alcoholic beverages. There are snacks, but better to dine before or after since they are packaged. HAPPY HOUR: 4pm-7pm Daily Well $9 House Wine & Bubbly $8 Beer $6 Or may be the most stylish bar for the LGBTQ jet set of the moment. Great place to show one's Bougie credentials so wear or carry your Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Grand Seikō, Rolex, etc. Laissez les bons temps rouler. read more

Came for a drink prior to dinner. Picked the place on line bc of the ambiance and the proximity to the restaurant. Cute bar! The margaritas were very good and service was very nice! Would recommend this place! read more
