We ordered a lot of dinner for game night last night: fresh summer rolls, egg rolls, Schumai, Tom Kha soup, Penang and green curry, pad Thai, pad see ew, crab fried rice, which wasn't on the menu online but is on my phone, and mango with sticky rice. My friend and I tried the new Thai restaurant in the West on Westheimer complex in Houston called Osha Thai Kitchen. The service was pretty attentive and they had nice decorations such as some tuk tuks in the back. I got the khao soi kai which is a northern Thai curry egg noodle soup, served with a slow braised chicken leg and breast, topped with crispy egg noodle. The curry had a little spicy kick, and the bowl was so big. This is a messy dish so don't wear your favorite shirt here. The chicken was pretty tender and the crispy egg noodles added some extra crunch while also soaking up some of the curry flavor. My friend got the tiger cry steak and she liked it. It's a marinated Akashi beef steak, grilled with spicy Thai chili lime and tamarind sauce. They give you a choice of jasmine rice or sticky rice with the dish. The steak had some char and smokiness to it. It's served with a vinegary sauce and a tamarind sauce. We got mango sticky rice to finish off the night. The rice could've been a little better but the mango was good. I can never get tired of mango sticky rice. They also add fried mung beans on top for some additional crunch read more

Food is pretty good but the service is truly terrible. Saturday dine in dinner and my husband's dish was completely forgotten about and no apology just--well it didn't go in after waiting for thirty minutes. Then they offered to make it and after another twenty minutes we left empty handed. It was fried rice--so pretty sure it was a management problem. Not a great first impression and we likely will not be dining in again. read more

This was the best Thai food we have ever had. What a great experience we were treated to. We started with the Shu Mai and Chicken Satay so delicious! Then we had the whole fried fish, chicken and fried rice, tiger cry steak, and the chicken curry. All their different dipping sauces actually tasted different from each other and were delicious. Everything was amazing. Our server Richard was such a great server /person genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and patient with us. Our new favorite Thai restaurant. This restaurant is nicely decorated, i like the vibe and lighting here. Service was great, very attentive and helpful. Original thai tea and thai green tea were both good. Let's talk about the food! The most impressive food surprisingly was the wings, it was very thinly coated, crispy outside and juicy inside (probably the best among other Thai places). Tom yum soup, pad thai and the crying beef were good but i thought they were a little too sweet. The steak itself was not sweet but the sauces were on the sweeter sides. I went with my friend for dinner. They seated us quickly and the service was fine. The ambience has a casual vibe. Casual place for a dinner with friends or family. The food was good, but nothing was exceptional or blew my mind. Every dish was about average for the rest of the Thai places in Houston. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit this restaurant. I would go if my friends wanted Thai and we were in the area. That said, it's a fine place to get Thai food but it wasn't amazing. read more

Decor is colorful as well as the staff. Chicken/rice soup that came with the lunch was delicious, full flavor broth. You can tell it was made with love. The Thai oysters was delicious, flavorful, the balance of spice and sea flavors made me want to order another round. Shrimp panang curry has been a long time favorite of mine. Interior is beautiful. We got Tom Yum and the Thai chicken fried rice. Best Tom Yum I ever had. I was worried that medium would be too spicy but the mild wasn't spicy at all. The food was incredible this was my first time trying thai cuisine and definitely won't be my last. I ordered the Pad See Ew noodles with chicken and the mango sticky rice for desert and it was mind blowing how flavorful and delicious it was. I live in louisiana and came to Houston to run some errands and i've never been happier with my decision to eat here. I know that if they made a thai restaurant where I live it would do amazing!!! I had the yum yum soup and pad kee mao drunken noodles. Both were pretty good, it's just the cost and quantity that u receive for to go orders. I said the same thing about two other Thai restaurants. The soup comes in one sizes $17 for maybe 16oz container. Just crazy! For the drunken noodles, the amount of noodles you get in this small black square to go container. I want to enjoy the flavors of the noodles and not a bunch of vegetables! The staff here are awesome n friendly. Maybe next time I'll dine in and see how it would be rather than take out! read more

Yummy! I tried a lot of dishes here while eating family style but some of my favorites are the crab fried rice, the larb, the steak, the curry, mango sticky rice and the crinkle cut tofu fries. I haven't tried the snapper but I saw other people order it and it is a beautiful presentation. Parking was easy and the surrounding shops were fun to check out too. read more

First time here and was extremely impressed. We got the Panang curry and the pad Thai and it's very different from all the other China town restaurants that we've been to. Pad Thai wasn't dry and the curry was the best I've ever had. I'm so picky with curry and this was just a surprisingly different take on curry. The presentation was nice too.
