Osha Thai's interior is open, spacious, and full of vibrant colors with contemporary decor. Great ambiance and customer service. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. A gal who might be the manager checked on us and asked about our experience. Really appreciate the show of customer care here. Although the dishes are more on the smaller side, the food is delicious except for the Roti Curry appetizer. I particularly love the use of hand-cut flat noodles in their Drunken Noodle dish. We ordered: Roti Curry - 1/5 rating. I love Roti Curry and get excited whenever it's on the menu. I've had Roti Curry at Indian, Maylansian, and other Thai restaurants and this is the saddest Roti Curry I've ever ordered. The roti is tiny. The smallest I've ever seen at any restaurant and it was very oily. It was flat with a slight crispy texture to it. The curry was extremely sweet and it only had 2-3 pieces of small potatoes in it. That's it. I do NOT recommend ordering this appetizer at all. Drunken Noodles - 5/5 rating. The hand-cut flat noodles in the dish makes a huge difference. The noodles were fluffy yet silky smooth and tasted fresh compared to other places who use dry packaged noodles. The sauce was also very good. Highly recommend. Chicken Ginger Rice - 5/5 rating. My date ordered this and really enjoyed the fragrant garlic rice and tender poached chicken. The side sauce that came with the dish was addictive. I tried the garlic rice, sauce, and soup and thought they were delicious. Especially the sauce. It was sweet, sour, salty, with a touch of heat and so gooood. I will definitely come back to try other dishes and highly recommend this place to anyone who want fresh Thai cuisine. Just don't order the Roti Curry appetizer.
I just permanently moved to Houston and trying new restaurants. While running errands we stopped by Osha Thai Kitchen and it was worth it. The restaurant is decorated nicely and the tables are spaced out well. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was very polite and friendly and answered questions I had about the spice levels on some of the dishes which was very helpful. For appetizers we ordered the roti and chicken skins. Both were very tasty and the perfect amount. We also ordered the basil chicken and it was delicious. Perfect level of spice and the fried egg and rice paired well with it. I look forward to visiting them again and trying other dishes.
I got the shrimp pad see ew, fried enoki mushrooms, & the Tango Mango to drink. Everything was super flavorful & delicious. If you prefer alcoholic drinks where the alcohol isn't obvious in taste, I'd highly recommend the Tango Mango. The pad see ew portion was a bit smaller compared to other establishments I've had though for the price point. They also have a happy hour Tuesday-Friday from 4-7 PM where appetizers are BOGO 50% off & discounted rates for alcoholic drinks. The service was great with our food coming out promptly even with a larger party and our server adjusted signage to prevent the sun from hitting my brother's eyes, which was super sweet. The interior of the establishment was decorated beautifully as well.
Wow this was an awesome experience, from the service to the food I was thoroughly impressed and I left full. The layout of the restaurant is beautiful, very well put together. It's vibrant & elegant. My friend and I decided to come here for lunch, we wanted to do like a family style and order several dishes to try. Our server Thao was very accommodating and friendly, she even packed our leftovers to take home. Here are the items we've tried. * Thai tea- good amount of sweetness. They also give you 1 free refilled which was nice. 4/5 * Roti Curry- roti was hot and fresh. Soft with a light crisp. The sauce was good but a little too sweet for my liking. They had cubed potatoes inside the sauce which is a nice addition. 3.5/5 * Tom Yum Soup- came out piping hot. Great combination of sour and savory with a hint of spice. The chicken was so tender and melt in your mouth. It was my favorite dish and I'll come back just for that. 4.5/5 * Pad Thai- probably one of my least favorite Thai dishes but this one was good. Not overly too sweet and it was spicy. Crazy amount of flavors to this dish. 3.5/5 * Pad Kee Mao- so darn good. Asked for medium spice and they definitely delivered. The noodles were cooked to perfection and good coloring. 4/5 * Grilled salmon with Panang curry- it could've been cooked a little less. Salmon was crispy on the top and flaky on the inside. The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, most likely too much coconut milk. It was creamy though. The presentation was a two thumbs up. Looked so nice that I didn't even wanna eat it. 3.5/5 * Mango sticky rice- so freaking good. Mango was soft and ripe. Rice was sticky and soft and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Coconut sauce was creamy. The only thing that I didn't like were their mung beans, it was just too crunchy & the texture wasn't right. I would've been fine if they sprinkled sesame seeds on top of the dessert instead. 4/5 Overall the food was good, the service was warm and welcoming and the ambiance is inviting. We saw some other dishes brought out to the other tables like the crab fried rice & papaya salad. Nicely presented and we can't wait to try them out next time. This is one of the very few restaurants that I'm really looking forward to coming back. Great job Osha.
Great food variety. Service and atmosphere: Service was outstanding. Welcoming, professional, attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and modern. Food and drinks: The menu offers very good selection of various dishes. Many of the dishes were not the typical foods found in many Thai restaurants which was good to see. The grilled squid was tender and the spicy sauce that was served with it was a perfect combination. Khao Soi was rich and flavourful. Good egg noodle texture, spicy broth and tender chicken pieces. Tom kha was as good as khao soi. Pricing: $$ - super worth it and we will be coming back to try other selections.
After seeing a good amount of positive reviews regarding this restaurant and paired with a hankering for Thai food, I decided to order in some Osha Thai. As the name implies (Osha means delicious in Thai), the food was absolutely delicious. Most times, when ordering for delivery, the food just isn't that good given the time it takes to eat and all that but even with that being considered the food was SO GOOD. I will be happy to just order from here going forward during my work trips. The vegan papaya salad was very tasteful with plenty of flavor and a good mixture of ingredients with a true Thai spice level. It was one of the best papaya salads I've ever had. The basil fried rice was so tasty and I loved that they included the fish sauce with Thai chilis that they included with it. Everything about both things I ordered was perfect and I do not say that lightly. I highly recommend checking this great Thai restaurant out whether in person or for delivery!
A solid Thai spot! I came for dinner on a Friday night and really enjoyed the food. The ambiance was elevated but not intimidating, and the interior was nicely designed. There were Thai signs hanging from the ceiling and a moped bike in the corner to incorporate elements of Thai culture and they had modern light fixtures. It was a cold night, so my table opted for the tom yum soup. We also got the pad thai with chicken, fried enoki mushrooms, the tiger cry steak, and the papaya salad to share. The tom yum soup was savory and just the right amount of sour. The broth was very well seasoned, and the soup had chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions so it was super filling. It was the perfect thing to warm us up on that cold day. (8.5/10) The pad thai was also packed with flavor. The noodles had a good and chewy texture and it was savory, sweet, and nutty. The chicken was tender and there was a good balance of meat and noodles. (8/10) Though it is arguably the most "basic" I would definitely order this again if I were to come back because of how tasty it was. The fried enoki mushrooms were delicious. The batter wasn't too thick, and they were nicely fried. Despite it being a fried item, it was not too oily or greasy. The sweet and sour sauce also paired well with them. (8/10) The tiger cry steak was divine. It was SO tender, flavorful, and paired really well with both sauces it came with. This was some of the softest steak I've ever had and it was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the addition of sticky rice to the dish. I would highly recommend getting this when you come. (9/10) The papaya salad was well-dressed and had a great kick to it. Thai spice is no joke, so if you have a low spice tolerance, I would caution you on this one. I love spice so I was a big fan of this dish, especially because the veggies and papaya were super crunchy and fresh. (7.5/10) The service was super friendly and they tried there best to be attentive despite a full and busy dining room. The parking is easy as there is a huge lot at the WOW plaza. There are also multiple dessert places near by if you want a sweet treat after (Lady M, the Alley, Somi Somi). I will definitely be back!
It's in the H Mart on Westheimer plaza. The chicken satay was on the dry side. His prik king was alright. My boiled chicken and rice was so dry and no taste. It was packaged well. We ordered to go. Not sure if we would be back.
The playing and the presentation were beautiful! The ambiance and the service were great. The food was a bit under seasoned for my palette, and I could've used more sauce. I got the spice rack which had the Thai peppers in fish sauce and pickled jalepenos which are my faves. Overall, it was good, but not my faves
I stopped by Osha seeing as it's a part of Resy and with my Amex I get a credit to support businesses in the app. While I did not dine in, I did utilize their online website to order some food to go. The mango sticky rice was delicious but my God was the curry with roti dream worthy. I received my order right on time and the workers were so kind. They had just re opened for dinner and the place was filling up fast. I can't wait to return to try some of their specials. It looks like it'll be a good time there.
My sis brought me here to try while I was in town and I was happy with the experience Big, open restaurant with clean bathrooms (yes very important) Service was great - our server was nice and attentive. I like how you can choose the spicy level of each dish. Every thing we had was good and flavors were delicious. I wish the garlic pepper beef dish came with more protein though. The garlic cabbage was divine and the dessert really finished the meal perfectly. Will be back to try more items
I dined here for lunch a few weeks ago with a group. After being seated by the hostess and being presented the lunch menu, I ordered the Pad Thai entree for $14 and had them add shrimp for another $2. Soup and an appetizer comes with the lunch. The soup arrived first and it was hot and tasted very good. Shortly later the entree appeared with the egg roll appetizer on the same plate. The rice noodles, eggs, bean shallots and Pad Thai sauce mixed along with the shrimp made it a delicious and filling meal. Finally, our table service was very good. I think that Osha Thai is a very good Thai restaurant that I would be happy to return.
The pangang curry with shrimp was tasty. It is thicker than a typical curry and just as flavor-packed. I got level 3 of 4 spice level and it was perfect. Definitely carried a kick but I still could taste all the flavors. The lunch portion was just enough, no leftovers and still very satisfying. The service was top notch with guidance on selections and genuine care with checking back in. It's cozy and casual. Perfect place to connect with friends.

My partner and I got the chicken pad thai and chicken red curry. We requested thai hot (their highest spice level) for both dishes! Our server was nice and was quick with their service. Ambiance is really nice and I love the music selection. While waiting for the food, I was adoring the place. ** Chicken pad thai - 4/5 My partner enjoyed his dish but he did wish the noodles were more firm. It was more soggy than he preferred. ** Chicken red curry - 4/5 I enjoyed my curry too but I was expecting the highest spice level to be more spicy. It was really flavorful but towards the end of finishing my dish, I was starting to feel fatigued with the taste. It's really creamy! read more

Our new favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant! Their beef dishes are amazing, and the pad see ew is some of the best. Their thai tea tasted very authentic, and the veggie spring rolls were to die for. Fair note: their "hot" level of spicy is not very spicy, so keep that in mind if you like it HOT. The wait staff is always very kind and attentive, and the restaurant decor reminds me of being in Bangkok. Highly recommend checking this spot out for some flavorful and high quality thai food. read more
Osha Thai Officially my newest favorite Thai place in town! I loved the atmosphere here and there friendly workers The food is delicious, not single dish felt mediocre. Each and every one blew my family of foodies away. Comments from my sister who has been to Thailand: "this place reminds her the most of the food she tried in Thailand, authentic and amazing" Dishes we had: Crispy chicken skin Pad thai Pad kee mao (drunken noodle) Crispy chicken fried rice Khao soi kai Tom yum Pineapple fried rice Mango sticky rice Lychee ice tea (not shown) - but definitely worth! Loved my experience here! Ambiance, staff and food were all great. I had the Pad woon sen which was glass noodles with tofu. It was on the spicier side (I ordered medium) but overall delicious! Especially with the cilantro. Definitely a place to try if you're on Westheimer craving Thai food! read more
They have a great lunch special! I had a chicken soup, tofu pad thai, and a hibiscus drink. I loved that the restaurant decorations really incorporate Thai elements. A solid experience and I'm excited to try other things on the menu. read more

Ordered pad Thai with tofu via uber eats. It's actually good but they had mixed noodles- flat and thin. Not sure why. They packed a lime and crushed peanuts in a separate ziplock bag which was nice. Minus one star for taking longer than what was the allotted time given which was over 30min & the mixed noodles. But overall very tasty! read more

3.5* Decent spot for Thai food if you're already in this complex. The decor is nice - cozy and vibrant - and the staff is friendly with good service. The food, however, was just okay. The Pad Thai was ordered hot but had very little spice, and the Panang Curry was just alright as well. Both dishes leaned a bit too sweet and were served lukewarm. Overall, it's fine for convenience, but there are better Thai options nearby, like Thai Lily Cafe, which has much better flavor. read more
A cute unassuming, seemingly family owned restaurant that is clean and stuffed with the most courteous wait staff. We got there 40 minutes before closing but were welcomed enthusiastically. The host nor the wait staff made us feel bad in any way. There were a still handful of other tables, mostly families with children of all ages from toddlers to teens. There were also two tables of young adults. Food came quickly, portions were generous and food was flavorful. Free uncovered parking outside that is brightly lit with lots of spaces. read more

Pretty good thai spot although everything was a bit on the saltier side. We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, tom yum, fried enoki mushroom, papaya salad, and tiger cry steak. The pad see ew was definitely the saltiest, but the flavor itself was good and I loved the smokiness. The tom yum soup and pad thai were also good, nice and flavorful. Crowd favorites for us were the enoki mushroom and tiger cry steak. The steak was soft and tender and paired very well with the sauces it came with. The papaya salad was also solid, nice and refreshing. read more
This is a great option for a bit of a more elevated dining experience. I haven't had the chance to branch out to many thai restaurants in the city since i've been pretty loyal to a few but this was definitely a pleasant experience! Everyone there was incredibly kind, I got very lost in conversation and found myself still inside the restaurant as they were closing but they didn't want to interfere. They had every right to remind us of their hours but were too kind to do so. Left a great impression but I felt pretty bad about it, so sorry y'all! The food itself was also great. I tried their khao soi, beef num tok, and their pad thai. All of it was a hit. The place is also decorated very well and gives it a great vibe! Only thing here is price point is a bit higher than other thai restaurants I frequent, so it's certainly more of an occasional visit for me as opposed to other places. read more
Met a friend for dinner on a Friday. (Feb 14) The staff is super friendly. The interior was very clean and cute. The decor was eye catching . There is also a small bar area. Great from beginning to end. Great location in the WOW shopping center. Styish decor and welcoming ambiance. Great staff. Clean and new restaurant. Smelled really nice inside. Clean restrooms. Attentive servers. Everything was delicious and fresh, didn't feel heavy, saturated in bad oils, like some Asian restaurants. One entree is good for 2, or for leftovers. Loved it all. Amazing food. I am already a fan of Thai food but I decided to go with some items I usually wouldn't get. The tom yum soup had heat options so I went with spicy. The soup contains a good amount of shrimp and chicken along with citrus veggies and herbs. Definetly recommend this dish if you're sick :). The heat wasn't overwhelming but definitely added the sour spice I liked. The chicken crisps were okay, they tasted more like fried wonton wraps. But I still enjoyed. I would recommend tossing the sweet snd sour sauce and dipping the crisps in the tom yum soup ! read more

Located in the West on West plaza, it's great to see more businesses filling up the plaza. There's not a lot of options for Thai food in this area. A very modern style decor, decent amount of space inside. We had a bit of a wait for a table of 5 on a Friday night. It started getting more crowded throughout the night and service felt a bit slow. We ordered: - crab cream cheese - chicken satay - papaya salad - pad thai - pad kee mao with beef - red curry - thai basil fried rice The menu had a variety of what you would expect for Thai food so we ordered a couple of dishes to share. Osha Thai is a Thai restaurant located on Westheimer in the Wow Plaza full of other Asian restuarants, boba shops, Teso, and more. I got their Panang curry, fresh oysters Thai style, Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, papaya salad, and Thai chicken wings. They have refillable thai tea and thai green tea, and this alone is 10/10 for me!! This is one of the first Thai restaurants where the Thai tea has free refills. The Thai chicken consists of fried chicken which you dip in their sauce. The chicken was crispy. We got the papaya salad at the highest spice level despite the server's warnings, and we were definitely sweating haha. However, it was fresh and crunchy. Their panang curry is creamy and coconuty and is one of favorite dishes. I got it mild spicy, but it was not spicy at all. I recommend going higher on the spice scale if you want more of a kick. The fresh oysters topped with thai chili and Thai sauces are to die for; they are fresh and juicy but are only available on the weekend. It was so good that we went the next day just to order three trays of oysters lol. The pad kee mao and pad thai are flavorful, and the noodles are bouncy and chewy. The tom yum soup comes in a a shareable pot and is full of tomatoes--sour and slightly spicy. Osha has become one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Houston and arguably best Thai restaurant. Ever dish is done well, and service is always friendly. We have visited numerous times and will definitely continue going! read more
I thought I'm at the beach for some good sips and vibing food haha the moment I stepped in. The color scheme of the entire place and the beach/aloha uniforms on the worker was vibing well together. Very friendly service and attentive. I came on a solo date to try something new and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the fried enoki mushroom 10/10 crispiness, doesn't have special seasoning but the fried batter and sweet chili sauce made it fun to eat. Even after 15 minutes (I was savoring it), they are still crispy! I was going to order the Thai chicken wings but they said it will take a little longer so I will try next time, but it's nice they give a heads up since appetizers usually are expected sooner than main dishes. Khao Soi Kai was creamy and spicy! It's hard to have it both ways but I asked for extra spicy and they accommodated it actually. The curry leaves a tingling feeling which I like but I'm just saying for the spicy people out there, it's an option to ask. The chicken was really tender and juicy too, the breasts not dry at all, and the drumstick's meat just fall off the bone easily the moment you bite it. A hack I did was dipping my enoki mushroom into the curry too, that was amazing. Overall, great service, good portion (I had leftover), and good vibe (good for small party meet up or casual date night), I will be back to try more on the menu because I saw another table ordered the mama o h o hot pot and that looked really comforting and yummy I would want to come back and try. read more

First time dining at OSHA Thai Kitchen, and it definitely won't be the last. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the Thai vibe, cozy, welcoming, and very authentic. You can tell they take pride in serving real Thai cuisine. We started with the roti and curry, and wow, the curry was rich, flavorful, and seriously addictive. The Thai chicken wings were another standout: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired so well with the tamarind sauce. That sweet-tangy flavor really took the wings to the next level. My husband ordered the crispy chicken fried rice, and it was spot on, well-seasoned, comforting, and cooked just right. Our friends ordered Mama Kee Mao, garlic pepper, and a few other dishes (sadly, no photos), but everyone at the table agreed everything tasted amazing. For drinks, they offer Thai tea and green tea, and I believe refills are free--which is always a plus. Another thing I loved is that you can choose your own spice level, so it works whether you like mild or extra spicy. The service was great too--our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I gave 4 stars only because I haven't tried enough of the menu yet. When we visited, my palate wasn't feeling very adventurous, so I stuck to safer choices. That said, we'll definitely be back to try more dishes next time and I'm sure it could easily be a 5-star spot for us. My family and I enjoyed this restaurant so much! Everything was hot and fresh. The drinks were amazing. I would recommend the pink dragon drink. The tamarind fried shrimp were AMAZING. The hostess and waiter were extremely friendly. The decor is also beautiful and the bathrooms are clean! 10 out of 10 would recommend. read more

My girlfriend and I came here on a Wednesday's night, they sat us down within minutes of entering the door (they have an interesting architecture design privacy barrier in the front that the waiters/waitresses in the back won't see you unless you wave at them). We got seated and immediately water & menu came, my girlfriend got the beef pad Thai & crab cream cheese, I got the Khao Soi Kai & the roti curry.
