I got basic dip nails but I love them. Everyone is so kind and services are always great!

So I've been coming there pretty regularly for the past few months for the ONLY reason that it's good in proximity. But that's about the only plus. First and foremost, I don't like the energy in there. There's a wonderful lady that did my pedicure who was great, but the one girl, Anne (Annie, not sure)? Always has an attitude. It's not an obvious one, but an undertone that any smart female can pick up on. I'm sorry, why are you having an attitude with me when I'm a customer and you're working there? She always looks annoyed, rolls her eyes, and says "pick your color." That's all fine, but that's the other problem. I asked for a simple color, butter yellow that they had as an option, and they didn't even carry it. Instead, I paid an absurd amount of money for a color I didn't even like, an unfriendly atmosphere and no innovation. I'd like to pay extra and ask for some nail art or at least some French/swirls with cool touches and they didn't even have yellow?!? Don't worry, I won't be coming back. Also please don't respond with a "we're sorry you've had this experience" general note because I've made up my mind & will be going elsewhere. Good luck babe! read more

I popped in for a paraffin pedicure to "relax" a bit while I was studying for a really big test I had to take the next day. The spa was very clean and their rates are quite reasonable. They did a great job with the whole service, but it was eerily quiet in the store. No background music, no one was talking, everyone was simply quiet the entire hour I was there. I was nose deep in my notes studying so I actually didn't mind. Lots of parking right out front as they are right next to a Fry's grocery store. read more

Stopped in here last minute for a gel classic pedicure & was wonderfully satisfied with both the service & the ambiance. I love how clean and bright everything was. Right upon entering, everyone was friendly and got me in right away for a pedicure. They do line the tubs with plastic, to be sanitary. My toesies came out cute! read more

Ok so. This was my first time coming here but i've been getting my nails done professionally for years. I booked the appointment online for an acrylic fill with gel. it said online that the price for that was $45. When i got there, customer service was pretty alright, nothing super crazy but the guy that did my nails was pretty helpful and obviously the nails came out SUPER cute! I got airbrushed ombré and the rhinestones which i knew would be a little bit extra but when it came time to pay, my total was $100. I called the next day to ask for them to itemize it for me and they told me they charged $5 extra because they were 'so long' ?? and they also charged $35 for the rhinestones which honestly is insane. At this point i'm like, whatever, at least they're cute. but THEN i get home and im making dinner and i go to open a cabinet. a regular old cabinet. and the pinky nail snapped in half and tore off half of my natural nail. the ladies know how bad that hurts. now i can't even get it fixed because i have to wait for it to heal. you can see in the photo how thin the nail was and its obvious why it snapped. no acrylic nail should break the day after application. i have changed a tire with two week old acrylics and had no issue. anyway. i should've never cheated on my OG nail lady. read more

I really like this place. I was in the neighborhood and called to see if they could get me in in 30 mins and they said no problem. They got me right in and gave me a bottle of water. Their massage chairs are the best I've ever used. Pedicure was great. I got the number 2 exfoliating pedi. Came with sugar scrub and callus treatment. Recommended by a friend. They mainly do walk-ins. When I called I was told to come in. They were busy with 2 others waiting. Waited 30 mins, which was ok for me. When I got back, got a chair right away. The girl was quick and efficient. She ensured each nail was painted perfectly. The hand/arm massage at the end was a nice added bonus. I went in to get builder gel removed, when I left all of my nails were very flimsy, all the way to where they start, and a little sore. Talking to other nail technicians, they weren't removed properly, damaging my nail. I worked so hard to build the strength of them and now I have to start all over. read more

The ladies that did my pedicure and acrylic set were super nice, friendly, and ensured my experience was phenomenal. They made sure I was comfortable, the nail shape was perfect, and the color and style was what I wanted before finishing the rest... they took their time. Also, the shop is beautiful and clean... I've gone to this place a couple of times now and I really like it. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. For one visit my friend had forgotten to ask for her design before they put the gel top coat on and was really upset with herself. But the technician was very kind and drilled it off to redo it to the (simple) pattern for her. For my recent visit, I didn't realize I messed up one of my big toe's nail polish ‍. I called for a last minute pedicure for 2 & full set of acrylics on my Birthday and they were able to get us in. The pedicures were amazing & they did a great job on the massages too. They have 7 different levels and we each got a slightly different one ( I don't recall the name but he got number 2 which sugar, fresh orange & I did number 3 which included paraffin wax). Great conversation & cozy atmosphere even while being masked up! I came in with an idea for my nails and Nicole exceeded my expectations especially after looking at the previously posted nails. Came in before going on vacation and got a full acrylic set, they made them super thick and left my fingers super sore, the tech was not gentle at all when buffing and filing. This isn't my first time getting my nails done so I know they get sore a little after but this was way too much! I came in two weeks after getting my set for removal because I couldn't stand them any longer. The girl who took my nails off literally tore them off with the edge of another fake nail tip.. when I asked for a removal I asked for soak off and instead had my nails yanked and damaged. I have never experienced this anywhere else and have always been told to never tear them off like that. So imagine my surprise when a "professional" did this. At the end she hardly buffed them and left residue of the acrylic on my nails in the edges and broke two of my nails. I paid $12 for something I could've done to myself at home and left with my fingers hurting AGAIN because they were too lazy to soak and buff my nails off how they should've. I will NEVER be back and don't recommend people come here if they like a nice experience. Go literally anywhere else in Tempe. read more

I did not have a good experience here I went in to get my toes done the guy sat me down next to a person and he started talking to the worker next to him and I have no problem with people speaking in there language but where I started to get uncomfortable was when I notice the girl worker kept looking at my toes and kept laughing and then the lady on the other side of where they have the pedicure chairs looked at the girl and the guy who was doing my nails and it seemed like she tried looking at what the guy was doing. I didn't say anything because I didn't wanna be disrespectful and mind you I don't have ugly toes. I am now on extremely STRONG prescription medications that is an ANTIFUNGAL and have to have my liver enzymes tested because of The VIRUS and Fungus I caught in your Oscar Nail Salon! This was an experience...personally I don't go to nail salons often, but when I do. I don't really expect to bleed. I went with my sister today and we had an appointment for 5:30 we got there at 5:30 and were then told to come back at 6. We did just that since we weren't busy and we didn't mind that. Came back at 6:00 chose our colors and then waited and waited until around 6:35. I was seated with a young woman and she was quick with her buffing and filing. Which is fine, but when it came to the cuticles she was also quick which led me to getting cut on right my thumb and right ring finger. I noticed it and let her know and she said "I'm sorry" which is fine but the problem after that is she kept snipping at all my cuticles and even more on my right thumb which made it bleed even more. She proceeded to paint my nails and I think my nail bled more because there's a bit of blood mixed in with the nail polish on my right thumb. After she finished that she didn't even let me go wash my hands or anything. She started to put the cuticle oil on my open cut and touched the nozzle of the dropper on my open wounds! Which is utterly horrifying because how many times has she or any of the other works done that!! Spreading bacteria or blood to other peoples open wounds from their own screw ups. This wasn't worth my time as I had to wait even longer than planned, I got cut up, and still had to pay like 74 dollars which that was the discount for my sister and I's nails. Overall I don't recommend coming here. I don't know how hygienic they are with their tools and so on so forth. I won't be back and if you think about going I would be wary. read more

This place never respects appointments, it makes no sense trying to schedule something because this places never turns away walk-ins. They can't appropriately manage the staffing and appointment book, so it results in long wait times between those who walk-in and those who take the time to schedule. What I have ended up getting are gradually worsening and rushed jobs to keep up with the demand. It's great for them that they can generate volume, but service quality is taking a nosedive and it's become bad enough to warrant taking a risk on a new place. It used to be that the wait was worth it for the service, but that's changed in the last few years. This is a service business, and recent management is slipping. We've been long-time customers but we won't be back. read more

I love this nail salon. I have tried many places in the area over the past 8 years and I just keep coming back here. The place itself is calm and inviting. There is usually relaxing music on and something on the t.v. with captions. It's a very Spa like feel. Everyone is also very kind. They take their time on your nails and take pride in their work. They are never in a hurry to rush you out for the next person. I do recommend making an appointment, even if it is for the same day because they get very busy. read more

I was hoping to make this my monthly go to but the search continues. I gave this place a second try after getting a regular pedicure and the tech broke skin, leaving an open cut. The tech insisted I get callous removal when I usually don't and then she proceeded to bruise and abuse my feet. I came back two weeks later and spent over 100 dollars on hands and feet. They overbooked appointments and were very busy. I returned the next day because the color on my nails was lighter then my toes and needed another coat, after waiting 15 mins I just left because no one offered to help me or give me a time estimate. read more

They than proceeded to speak Chinese right in front of me. I'm here to tell you STAY AWAY. The reuse their stuff cause they are cheap. Updated review!!!! I decided to give this place a try after coming here for a pedicure that I really liked. I came to get a regular full set with regular nail polish, that normally costs anywhere from $20-$35 as you can see in the pictures they don't look bad but I was charged $38 dollars for this. My daughter got a classic manicure which is listed at $15 with gel nail polish, she selected different colors as you can see, and I'm sure they charged an extra $3 for each color because I was charged $29 dollars for that. I advise that you refer to their services menu and be clear as to what you'd be charged. I also recommend Pink Polish in chandler. I tipped $10 dollars because I won't be coming back. read more

My friend and I made an appt at 12pm and when we went to the nail salon it wasn't too busy, but the technician took a long time to do my nails. I had busted gel nails on so they had to remove that, but I chose to do regular polish so it shouldn't have taken as long as it did. My nail tech also chipped my pinky finger and made it bleed :/ She also seemed very distracted and wasn't completely focused. I used to come to this place often (even brought my bridal party here before my wedding) but the sanitation practices have gone really downhill. Like other reviewers, I contracted toenail fungus after a pedicure here and it's taking months to heal. They also no longer offer complimentary beverages and make you feel quite awkward if you tip using card or Venmo (which they have the QR code for taped on the front desk) instead of cash.
