Went to OSA Rooftop and honestly loved the vibe. The rooftop is beautiful, especially around sunset. It feels like a little escape from everything without having to leave Pasadena. The space is stylish but still comfortable, not overly loud or pretentious. Great spot for a date night or a night out with friends where you actually want to enjoy the atmosphere and talk. The music was good, the crowd was fun, and the energy was just right. Drinks were really well made, not watered down and not overly sweet. Food was solid and paired well with the whole experience. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, it's one of those places that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Our party of 6 visited on a Saturday night with reservations to celebrate our friend's birthday. Our visit coincided with game 7 of the World Series so it was a very busy night and we were asked to wait despite having a reservation. Once we were seated we were greeted by our very chipper server who guided us through the menu. She was helpful and checked on us frequently, but once we had our drinks she didn't check on us again. We wanted to place another order and we had to flag other servers to get service because our server was no where to be found. Even when the baseball game was over and the crowds were gone the service was still just as bad. It seems that when the place was busy the service was somewhat better. It is a beautiful rooftop setting and they even play movies on the wall when the sun starts to go down which was so cool (no sound don't worry). We got drinks , the meatballs, and the burger. Had a fantastic experience at Osa last night where I celebrated my birthday with girlfriends. Unfortunately, most of my party was running super late but the staff was understanding and accommodating. The views are incredible and the vibes are really nice. Great for photos. What really did it for me was the service. Our server was Ana/Anna- (sorry didn't catch the spelling) but she was one of the best servers I've had in a long time and that really made our experience wonderful. We nicknamed her Sparkles because she had fun festive makeup on and was so positive. She checked on us the perfect amount of times, made sure we were having a good time, and had impeccable timing. When we were sort of overstaying our welcome she so gently moved us to the fire pit to enjoy more drinks. The entire staff there was friendly and attentive truly. The drinks were really good. I will say the bathrooms needed a little more attention- ran out of supplies a couple times over the night and the food was solid overall but didn't wow me- I'm still counting this as a 5 star experience because the service, ambience, drinks, and overall vibes were immaculate. Excellent!!! Great chill vibe on the east side of Old Town! Met my coworkers here at their suggestion and could not be happier. I live it when the servers are attentive enough to keep my glasses filled but not up in my face every 5 minutes! That's what you get at this rooftop! Speaking of rooftop, great location on the 6th floor of the AC hotel with the San Gabriels as the north wall. It was cloudy for us, but with a clear sunset and purple mountains, can't think of a better backdrop! Most importantly, the food. Because we just met for a hangout, we ordered appetizers only. But if the meals are ANYTHING like the apps, they must be amazing! Although some prices may have been a little bit elevated, most of it was priced really well! The charcuterie board, for example, a little pricey for what you get . That said, great choice of cheeses on that board!! More meats would be great! Went to OSA on a Monday night and it was pleasantly quiet -- almost empty, which I personally love. An empty restaurant means there's really no excuse for poor service... and thankfully, there wasn't. The service was outstanding. We received consistent attention throughout the meal without it feeling overbearing. Definitely one of the highlights of the night. We had heard mixed reviews beforehand, so we came in a little apprehensive. That said, we were pleasantly surprised overall. For appetizers, we ordered the tostones and the artichoke green chili dip. Both were delicious. The chips that came with the dip tasted fresh and homemade, which really elevated the dish. For our entrée, we tried the chicken tacos. They were very good -- flavorful and well prepared. However, at $28 for three tacos (about $9.33 each), they felt overpriced. I'd feel more comfortable paying somewhere in the $16-$22 range for that portion. Still tasty, just hard to justify the price point. To be fair, we knew going in that this is a hotel restaurant, and hotel restaurants tend to run higher in price. We were willing to pay a bit more because the views are beautiful and definitely part of the experience. One of my guests ordered the double burger and only finished half. It seemed like a lot -- two stacked patties felt like overkill for the setting. I understand the appeal of a double cheeseburger, but it felt slightly out of place with the rest of the menu. The menu overall felt like a mix of Central American and classic American dishes -- maybe a fusion concept? It had a modern, slightly "hip" vibe but not a super defined culinary theme. Drinks were simple for us -- warm water and tea for two guests, and a $17 glass of wine for another. Dessert is where pricing felt most noticeable. We paid $12 for a small slice of chocolate cake, which felt steep for the portion size -- especially considering there are places literally across the street (like Urth Caffé) where you can get a much larger slice for the same price. It just makes the value comparison tough. Overall: excellent service, solid food, beautiful views -- but pricing is on the higher side for what you get. Would return for the ambiance and service, maybe stick to appetizers and drinks next time. read more

Loved this new rooftop in Pasadena! The views here are absolutely stunning, especially of the San Gabriel Mountains and Old Town Pasadena. Highly recommend making a reservation around sunset, as the golden hour views cannot be beat. Food was beautifully presented and delicious, as were the cocktails. We came here for our 3 year anniversary and not only did we wait 20-30 minutes just to be acknowledged/greeted; after ordering my martini it took another 20 minutes to arrive, then ANOTHER 15-20 for our food. Food was not good. Everything was subpar. The burger has so much melted cheese on it, there was zero flavor, it was like eating a burger from a fast food joint. We ordered a few things while we waited at the bar. Then we were told there was a table, so we got seated. Our drinks were a glass of wine, and a glass of champagne. Both drinks with zero preparation. Just pour it from the bottle. Took them 30 minutes? The 2 appetizers came before our drinks. We asked the server to check on our drinks and since nobody came to take our order. The server was kind enough to double as the waiter and took our order. When we got our meals, they asked if I wanted another glass of wine. So I said sure. Than after waiting another 30 mins I asked for the check. 15 mins after asking for the check. They come by with the glass of wine. While we were up there, we get an alert that our 2 hour parking was up. Service is really lacking here. The whole time we were flagging random servers as we did not have a waiter. Nobody came to check on us and nobody refilled the water. We asked for ranch that never came and to go boxes are 15 feet away and after asking twice. We ended up just grabbing it ourselves. We had to ask for another waiters attention and we were then told our server was on break and we had caught them in the middle of transition right after we were seated which seemed odd. Brussel sprouts were my fave dish. The truffle fries were very soggy. Thankfully we shared this feedback and they re made another for us which were much crispier and a lot better. I saw this place on TikTok and knew I had to check it out! I decided to celebrate my birthday here with my girls on Sunday, and we absolutely loved the experience. The ambiance was beautiful, super aesthetic, and we were seated pretty quickly even without a reservation. Our waiter, Danny, was amazing....he recommended great drinks from the menu and even suggested one that wasn't listed: the watermelon margarita (which definitely deserves a spot on the menu!). We ordered rounds of the "Mama Bear" at first, but the taste was a little off. Once we mentioned it, Danny didn't hesitate to make adjustments, and the next round came out so much better. I'm so happy I got an email to leave a review because man oh man! What a terrible experience I had reserved a table for 6 to celebrate Mother's Day and not only did they put us at a table where it was extremely hot, humid and the chairs were dirty, but they would not accommodate us by bringing an extra umbrella to cover the heat. There was a dude just standing there listening to our needs and said "well, I'd leave if I were you too". Who says that? An incompetent and heartless jerk, that's who! They told us we could sit at the bar and when the sun would go away by 230 pm they'd relocate us to the original table. They also gave us an option of sitting at the lounge... even though we had made reservations for a dining table. The staff is incredibly unkind, uneducated, and unwilling to help. On the plus side, we made reservations as we left to Javier's and had the BEST time ever!!! OSA... more like NO SA... do better. Be better. PS. I went on a sunday 3/8/26 and sat on a small table next to a window since that was the only table available (reservation is required). Food was great, our server was great. Vibe was great. However, I left my sunglasses there, realized it a couple weeks later so I sent a yelp message, no response still, sent an email since thats what the automated system suggested but no response, and I called the number and left a message but still no response. If the place was down the street from my house I would've went in person but I live an hour away. So please if someone could check if they found a "gentle monster" sunglasses in a white pouch that would be appreciated as I am 100% sure i left it there. Ill revise the review then. read more

This was good but I felt like it could've been a little more elevated. It was served with I think cilantro oil (I think) and ketchup. If I could change it up, I'd love to see a different style fry and add flaky salt. It was a little bland in flavor but not to the point it couldn't be enjoyed. I still enjoyed its simplicity. If you're into something simple and filling this is still good 2 - wagyu burger - 2 wagyu patties made into a smash burger.
