I have been eyeing this donut shop, since it's in the shopping center next to the vet that I take my furry little partner in crime. First of all, the inside is aesthetically pleasing. On the right, there was a light up sign with there name and a cute seating area under it. On the left, there are a few more seating areas, merchandise, and a condiments area. The space is clean and the staff was friendly. I got a half a dozen donuts and ordered a variety of specialty and build your own donuts. I got a Boston Cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cinnamon Sugar, Fruity Pebbles, and 2 Rainbow Sprinkles with Chocolate and Strawberry Icing. I didn't try all of them but, these donuts are freshly made to order and smelled amazing. The Cinnamon Sugar is my go to flavor and I had no regrets enjoying this sweet treat! It's cool that they have special donuts of the month. For July it's Banana Pudding and I didn't have the courage to order this. LOL But if anyone tries it, pleaseee let me know! They're also very sweet and rich, and I find myself not wanting more than one at a time anyways. It was my first time so I did have questions about what was on the donuts but wasn't excessive or anything- so Idk. O's Donuts is okay. I liked how their donuts are made on site and made fresh. Once you place your order, they're fried and prepared right in front of you. That being said, there's a few things I don't like about their donuts. First off, their donuts are smaller than everyone else's (Krispy Kreme, DD, Duck Donuts, etc). Also their donuts are cake donuts, so they're actually pretty heavy and dense. With all their heavy toppings, you can get quite full eating just one donut. Price-wise, I don't think it's worth it; I'd rather go to Duck Donuts. read more

They still offer several delicious glazes and toppings that you can mix and match as well as their classic combinations to choose from. Their apple pie and cookies n' cream flavors are my favorite and absolutely save my life! Since my initial visit, Os has revamped their menu and now offer smoothies, frappuccinos, donut ice cream sundaes, and snow cones. I can personally attest that their frappucinos and sundaes are A1. I have stopped in a few time to get donuts for work. Really fresh and taste GREAT! Everyone at work enjoys these and with so many great speciality flavors there really is something for everyone! Everytime I stop inthe staff working are extremely nice and helpful. One morning I stopped in and they were having some trouble getting the fryer going I placed and order for 2 dozen, and had about a 30 minute wait. It was not a problem, but they offered a few times to deliver to my office because of the time. It really wasn't a problem for me so I just sat and waited, but I really appreciated the offer had it been a day I needed to get in! Seems they are really into customer service which kind of sets them apart from many places today. It really makes me want to visit more and give them my business. You see, O's Donuts is similar to other donuts shops around here: they start with a plain, vanilla donut; you pick your glaze; and finish off with a topping. Now, the first time I visited O's, I wasn't super impressed with their plain donut, but I did love the "Apple Pie" topping--warm, soft, pillow-y donut of sweet goodness (#OMG! Factor). I decided to go back and try out some other combinations: maple with heath bar, lemon with coconut, and strawberry with peanut butter cup crumbles. Without a doubt, the strawberry & peanut butter cup crumbles was the bomb! So, that's what I'm saying--choosing the right combinations for your donut can get you from an average donut to an OMG! donut. Before I forget, O's now have chocolate donuts available, but only on Mondays--at least at the moment. I need to try a chocolate donut with strawberry glaze and peanut butter cup crumbles... I know the donut is the most important part, right? However, there are other things we should talk about, too. The service at O's is good: friendly, prompt and served with a smile. The interior of the shop is nothing special, and there are very few tables. In other words--O's is a place where you pick up your donuts and go. Their prices are similar to other donuts shops around ($11.49/dozen). You can order donuts online on their website, but keep in mind that there is a $10.00 minimum (www.osdonuts.com). When I first walked into the shop, I looked around, hoping to see what kind of donut selections they had to offer. Much to my dismay, there was no showcase! Confused, I walked up to the counter and the cashier kindly explained how their donut shop works. I had never before heard of a donut shop where you can create a plain cake donut with the frosting a topping of your choice! Granted, there are less than 20 different frosting flavors and toppings, but with what they have to offer, there are a number of ways to create such delicious donuts! This place definitely allows it's patrons to express their creativity when it comes to donut frosting and toppings combinations. The first time I went to this place, I played it safe and just got the vanilla frosting and Oreo topping on the plain cake donut. (Also found out Duck Donuts does the same thing. Seems like Virginians are pretty extra with their donuts and I don't mind!) Not to mentioned they're served hot! If you plan to order a large quantity of donuts, I recommend picking your flavor coating and topping in advance. On my first visit, I didn't know they were made to order so I ended up ordering from their picture wall of suggested flavors. It's too stressful for me to pick the flavors on the spot...too many possibilities. On subsequent visits, I definitely planned my coating & topping combos. I tried to call and place my order in advance but no one picked up. Imo, the chocolate coating coats the best, with a nice "thick" layer of chocolate on top o' the donut. The key lime did not coat well, it was actually kind of sticky and runny - I personally did not like it. I tried it a second time and the same thing happened. The donuts come with 1 free coating and topping. You can pay extra for additional toppings, like bacon (0.50) or apple (.25). A 5-star donut would be the batter from O's Donuts and the toppings from Duck Donuts. If you love donuts, especially cake donuts, you should probably go out of your way and stop here to check it out. read more

Great customer service, sadly they close at 3p and on Sundays at 2. They are almost exactly like Duck donuts except I believe they have a lot more topping options. Bought a dozen which included: Oreo crumble on vanilla icing, Reese's crumble on chocolate, nuts on vanilla, apple pie (cobbler), cinnamon, strawberry with sprinkles, and key lime pie. The Oreo crumble was a bit disappointing because I couldn't taste the Oreos but still an 8/10. The Reese's crumble was really good, I recommend it to peanut butter lovers. The nutty donut was good as well. I've never had a donut like the apple pie/apple cobbler donut. They top it with actual apples and cinnamon drizzle. Interesting and impressive. The strawberry with sprinkles was regular, I'm not a fan of strawberry drizzle but it wasn't disappointing. Lastly, I was excited to try to key lime pie donut. I could barely taste the zest but I could tell it was there. I recommend eating the donuts fresh but they're still tasty even after they cool off. The donuts themselves are fluffy with a crispy golden exterior. I got a plain one to try (no coat, no frills), so trust me in this. I love a good cake donut and have had several at different locations around Hampton roads, but O's just doesn't hit the spot for me. When it was time to make my donut he proceeded to pick up a donut that had been sitting under a heat lamp instead of one that was fresh from the fryer. I guess he realized what he was doing and ended up giving me one from the fryer which I appreciated. He handed me my donut, which was maple glaze with oreo topping. The glaze was too thin and the oreo topping was very thin crumbs instead of the chunks that I'm used to receiving at other places. He handed me my donut with no fork, it took me asking and waiting for 5 minutes just to get the fork and at that point that donut was cold.
