It looked like someone poo'd everywhere and the bland chili overpowered everything else. I couldn't tell you what else was in there by flavor because it was all covered in chili. I will give this place a solid 3 stars...$17.80 got us a Caliente burger, chili burger no onions and no chili....two fries and a drink. The flavor of these burgers were pretty darn good and their fries were delicious! The only thing they forgot was the chili on my burger. Actually, I'm changing my review to 4 stars mainly because even though they messed up my order slightly it was still a really damn good drive thru burger! Today was a BOGO single deal and as I came through and saw the new "Add Bacon" sign, I added bacon on both. When my boyfriend took me here for regular burgers, I thought "great...another burger joint" and when we ate I felt "hm...ok these burgers aren't bad, they're actually really good...still not a big fan of chili cheese burgers though" But then came breakfast! *drool* I think it's the real egg that makes it so amazing! This place use to be my childhood favorite, i would come everyday and eat their chili cheese fries. Sometimes even 3 times in one day. I went today and as soon as i handed them my money they already had my order out, which i of course thought that they probably just handed me one that was sitting out. But, i gave them the benefit of the doubt and took it and sat at one of the tables. As soon as you look at it you can see a square slice of cheese, and it's not even melted! I took a bite and it was cold, i thought "hmm it's chilly out maybe the wind just made the top cold" so i dug a fry out from the middle and it was also cold. Probably the worst stuff you can eat but...it's amazing in it's own unique, deliciously gut-busting way, and has many followers from all over. I don't get this very often because of this, but when I do I go all out. A double original chili burger with extra chili and onion, no pickle, and upgrade my fries to chili cheese fries w/onions, and a large iced-tea with lemon, and sweet-n-lo....for $8.75 Price is pretty good for the amount of food you get and you might even surprise yourself with some leftovers. I've never had a stomach(or any other indigestion) problem's from the food but if you got a weak stomach you should probably stay away or go for the regular burger instead of anything with chili. I don't see any problems with it, except that it's just bad for you and that's what makes me(and many others) want it even more, it's a guilty sin of mine(great place when you got the late night munchies, or to absorb any alcoholic beverages you might have had before getting the bright idea to come here =] ) It just comes down to either you like it or you don't....and that's ok cuz then the people who LOVE IT don't always have to wait in long lines. Earlier I posted I wasn't going to go back, but my wife wanted Tommy's, so we went, unfortunately. The cashier got our order correct when taking it, but when I checked the burgers, they weren't how we ordered them. When the cashier went back and verbally told the cooks the order 4 times, they still messed it up & looked like they threw the burger together, with the bun wrinkled. I'm calling the corporate office. The manager did refund my money and was apologetic. I forgot to post this, but looking back now, I have 2 more bad things that happened there. TWICE I went back and both times, there was one person in line in the drive thru & very few people in the restaurant, but it took me 20 minutes each time just to get to the window. So I was very hungry late yesterday night and I decided to go to Tommy's. I got there and ordered 2 chili cheese fries well done with extra cheese and pickles on the side. First off, the women who took my order was very rude. So I went ahead and ignored it and then pulled to the window. My order was very simple. I paid, and then when I got my food I was a bit surprised because it usually takes a bit longer for well done chill cheese fries to be ready. I would know because I worked at a Tommy's. So I open the bag and ask for more pickles because I'm pregnant and craving pickles all the time. So the lady then says, OMG I don't have any more pickles young lady as she is walking away. So I was shocked and then kept hearing her talk under her breath. As she is giving me my pickles she says to the cook very sarcastically, "she sure does love pickles"!
