I had a great conversation with the manager, Jacob, and the associate, Cody, yesterday morning (02/21/26) at 10:35 AM as the store opened. Cody recognized me from afar and greeted me. I felt like there was a strong sense of community here. He initiated the conversation but Jacob, the manager, wanted to come over and talk to me personally, as I've been writing a lot of great compliments for this location. Jacob is a great store manager because he is a great, friendly conversationalist, stating that if he weren't people-oriented, he wouldn't work here. I told both Cody and Jacob that In-N-Out obviously trains their employees well as they know about Mr. Jacob Snyder, as well as the mission and spirit for free coffee when you bring in a mug. I appreciate that the workers here know me well enough to remember my name but also treat me as a person with dignity and great empathy. I feel like I am not just another number on the "receipt" but an individual who matters. The friendly smiling associates here, as well as the manager embodies the spirit of Disneyland Cast Members who are always genuine but also highly knowledgeable about their company history. read more

ANOTHER UPDATE: We usually love coming to this In-N-Out and most of our visits are great, which is why this is frustrating to write. We've mentioned before that the lettuce portions at this location tend to come small torn up, unlike other locations that give large full pieces we can use as wraps. Our group is trying to minimize carbs, so we order patties and sides of lettuce. On a previous visit, it honestly felt like someone read our review because we received perfect, full lettuce pieces. It was great. Unfortunately this visit went the opposite direction. We ordered 16 patties total for four people and asked for 12 sides of lettuce. If those patties were ordered as regular burgers, they would come with that much lettuce pieces anyway so the amount shouldn't be surprising. From the drive-thru order taker to the employees at the window, there was noticeable laughing and disbelief about how much lettuce we were ordering. It felt uncomfortable being laughed at over a food request we're paying for. When we finally received the order, the lettuce was pieced again and not nearly enough for the patties. We're not asking for anything unreasonable, just consistency and basic respect. We enjoy In-N-Out and want to keep coming back, but being made to feel like a joke for ordering our food a certain way takes away from the experience. read more

In-n-Out is delicious and satisfying. I always order two cheeseburgers. Sometimes with raw onions and sometimes with grilled onions. Sometimes animal style. I don't like the fries here, I know everyone raves about them but give me McDonald's fries anytime. At one point when my husband and I lived in Buena Park I would go through the In-n-Out drive-thru for our burgers and then drive across the street to the McDonald's for fries. read more

over the years, in n out has expanded, with locations now 2 locations on beach blvd, one in stanton and one in Huntington beach. Ive gone to all of them and this Og location is still my favorite and go to spot. The lines and wait times here aren't as long as the other locations. The burgers fries shakes are still consistent. Well, as an adult, this is STILL the Golden Rule of pedestrian safety and at In N Out Westminster.... This rule can not only save your life... But it can save your Double Doubles as well! Let me explain! At this In N Out location, like many of the Original Sites, not only is there no inside seating... But there are TWO, not ONE lanes for the drive-thru line. So in order to place your order at the outdoor window, you will have to cross over the drive-thru lane of traffic as the order window is in the middle. Hey.... Sometimes, risking your life for an Animal Style fries and a strawberry shake is definitely worth it! ;) Wait, No inside seating??? So that means no inside bathrooms and no self serve soda fountains!!! Ahhh... dot you fret! In N Out Westminster has got you covered. There are a few outdoor tables in the shade and a few sunny spots which are under an umbrella... ella, ella, eh, eh... -Rihanna Restrooms are located outside, just make sure to grab the current code. And as far as refills.... Just bring your cup to the window where they will top off that Arnold Palmer or Lemon Up at no extra charge. Sadly, no refills on that strawberry shake ;) And the BEST part of THIS In N Out..... If you get so full off of your Double Double, Animal style fries and Strawberry Shake and you just so happen to go into a food coma..... It was definitely fresh and cooked nicely as well, it's a smaller but very clean location and nice employees ! I heard them repeat back to me "protein style" when I wanted an animal style burger with no lettuce, so I promptly corrected them that I wanted an animal style burger not a protein style one. When I got to the window, they said "animal style protein style burger". I responded saying that it was supposed to be animal style, not protein style. The burger I had got a bun and didn't have lettuce on it, but tasted completely like lettuce. They clearly just took the burger they messed up from the lettuce and put it on the bun. The whole point is the lettuce ruins the taste of a burger for me. read more

Never been to a bad in-n out until now ! The burger was burnt and the animal style fries were tossed all over and not good at all ! I dunno if they do things differently at this In N out but I for sure won't be back . Oh and the drive thru window is on the opposite side of your car driver side Window so you have to pretty much jump into your front seat to hand them your card and get your food . Even though there's always a line, this place always hits the spot. The food is always fresh and the employees are always friendly. I usually have a fairly complicated order and they almost never make mistakes. My go-to order is the double double, animal style, fresh onions, a whole grilled onion, no pickles, and add chopped chilies. I also get animal style fries, light well with chopped chilies. Originally, I drove to the Huntington Beach location. However, that location was packed up the wazoo! I dare you to go to the HB location on Sundays! I dare you! That placed was wrapped in and around with cars with no drive-thru window in sight! I was too hangry to wait that long. Nuh uh! No, no, no! So detour to the Westminister location. As soon as I got there, I was happy to see that the lines weren't crazy. As usual, there was someone standing by the entrance of the drive-thru to take your order in advance. Only a couple of cars in front of me. The lines got through quick! Was so happy that I changed locations to come to this one! ORDERED COMBO #1 DOUBLE-DOUBLE with grilled onions This was soooo good! To be honest, the last time I had an cheeseburger at a different In-N-Out location and it was not this good! Was so happy and satisfied with it! Everything was still warm by the time I got back home too. Everything was done just right! ANIMAL STYLE FRIES with extra cheese and hot yellow chili peppers. This was good too, but as most people agree with, the fries is always something we wish In-N-Out would change. If the fries were better, the whole dish would taste better. Overall, I enjoyed it. They gave me a generous portion of fries too. Had so much of the fries left over, but not enough animal sauce. Simply the best! Nothing else compares in terms of price and quality. Always ask for it extra toasted so the bun has a nice crunch to it.

Have to give them 2 stars. Not for the food per say. It's cause this is the second time in a row that I ordered the Dutchman wish pickles and it shows it properly on the receipt but they haven't put it on the burger again. So if they keep doing it then i'll have to take it lower. read more

One of my favorite in n out locations to go to. Been going to this location for years now. This location may be smaller than other in-n-out stores but they always get my order correct(unlike the other stores)! This store, despite smaller, is more laid back and genuine in my opinion. The workers were nice, authentic, and cared about their customers. I ordered my favorite item on the menu which is a cheeseburger. Perfect for late night dinner and such. Parking can be tough at times so I usually park at the big lots plaza and walk there. Overall, I would definitely recommend this in-n-out location over others. read more

We parked on the side street cause it was impossible to park on their private lot due to the drive thru line blocking the lot. Customer service was very nice, order came good and on time. I've been going to this in and out for years and something has changed in around the last month. The last two times I've been were not great. A couple weeks ago it took 20 minutes to get my food through the drive through and my fried were not even warm when I got them. My wife picked up burgers last night and the meat patties were hardly even warm in the burger and were not as good as usually. Not sure if there is a new manager at this place or what's going on but something has changed and uts not for the better. read more

Came here for lunch with work friends, we arrived a bit before noon on a Tuesday. The location is a bit hectic, it's in a smallish lot, but the taste is worth the challenges. This location has no indoor seating, if you elect to eat onsite, your options are TWO, four-top tables under umbrellas, or TWO, two-top tables in the hot sun. So seating is limited, we were happy to get a big table under the umbrella, score! The drive through process seem to be perfected as they have someone at the tail end of the line taking orders. For those dining on location, you will place your order at a walkup window. Just be cautious as you will likely need to walk across the drive through exit. As for the food, In-N-Out has a relatively limited menu but EVERYTHING is excellent. I always get the double/double prepared animal style. For those unfamiliar, the 'animal style' is where they grill chopped onions and cheese together. Ummmm, good. The lettuce and tomatoes are all fresh. I have an affinity for salt and the burgers seem to have a salty taste. I can't forget the fries, they are best when consumed on location because they are warm and fresh. I find their fries very MEH after they cool down, but when hot/warm, they are excellent! They also have shakes, but I always go for the pink lemonade. In-N-Out is a top 5 burger for me, this location did not disappoint. read more

For me, In-N-Out has reached that crucial phase where their franchise standards are still very high while they continue to grow impressively. The food is very consistent (across a few visits at this location, and at a few others over several years, maybe 5-7 total instances since year 2000). (Maybe it's to my health's credit that I have cut down on fast-food visits a lot in my "golden years". I may have hit Mickey D's about half as many times; the mood is hectic in both places but Mickey D's quality has for me definitely declined, at least here in L.A. I avoid fast food joints on out-of-town trips.) The service staff is quite young, energetic and helpful. Definitely 5-star service! What brings me back to a place like this is the combo of that great, cheerful service and very good cooked-to-order food. No one ever questions my preference for grilled onions, even if uncooked is far easier. I never know when (and best of all: the long open hours) I'll return, but I am pretty sure that I will--after most other eateries are already closed for the day. read more

Best In and Out in the area. I am serious. There are two other locations are within a couple of miles. (Stanton and Garden Grove) Which have the longest drive thrus at any time Guaranteed to have a mouth watering burger everytime. Best consumed immediately for the best taste. We have taken them home during COVID and they are not as good. Those extra minutes make a huge difference. Optional whole grilled onions verses chopped are available. Fried mustard adds extra taste. Unless yours is Animal Style and it automatically comes with it. Ask for extra sauce packs for the win. This In and Out has way less traffic than Stanton or Garden Grove. Went through drive thru for my 30 minute lunch last week. The person ahead of me took like 10 min to order. I was the only other person in line. Another car pulled up right when the person ahead of me finished. The girl who took takes orders gave me a dirty look, turned around, and skipped me. I was next in line and she took the car who just pulled up. This was my first and last time at this in and out. Ruined my appetite. I usually go to Mc Donald's down the street who has way better customer service. You guys just lost 50$ a week. I would have came here frequently. read more

I never thought in 20 years of living in California I hat I would have a BAD experience at an in-N-Out Burger. This has to be the worst, ewe the hamburger was so gross and the fries were not very hot. Even the diet coke was flat. I should of known something was up with this location, when I pulled up there were only 4 cars in line on a Saturday. When you don't have to wait any this place something is terribly wrong.
