I did a dine- in order. When my meal was ready, they offered me a cup for water. I ordered the classic French dip swiss. Which they give you plenty of au jus for a good sandwich dunk dip. You must order curly fries, its always nicely good all the way. Overall, its affordable and worth the price. Staff cleans right away the tables once the customers leaves. We are in Huntington Beach to see a specialist for my wife before go in we went to Arby's it's a while we haven't been to an Arby's. I went to Arby's on Edinger Avenue in Huntington Beach. I was immediately greeted by Hau and he was extremely professional and friendly. He took my order (two classic roast beef sandwiches and fries) and he asked if I wanted to order a drink. I declined the drink. He asked if I wanted any sauces. He let me know that my order would be a few minutes as he was waiting on fresh fries. He asked me if I wanted water to drink while I waited. As a side note, I noticed another employee outside wiping down tables. I have not had customer service at a fast food restaurant in many years. I worked in fast food for 7 years and a manager for 3 of those years so I kind of know what to look for. I currently do a mystery shopping and while this was not an assigned mystery shop, I was very impressed. As a mystery shopper, my brain never stops evaluating service. If I was mystery shopping this restaurant, you would have passed with flying colors! Great job Hau and Arby's! read more

My 5/5 star review is for their limited time angus cheesesteak sandwich and they white cheddar mac n cheese! I hope they stay on their menu forever, even though it's a bit pricey. I was shocked that it actually tasted really good. The cheesesteak was very cheesy, not to salty meat, in a soft hoagie. The mac n cheese had such a savory taste and a nice bite to it, I had to order another one to go. The cheddar beef sandwich is like a 2/5. Service was great. Ask staff were very friendly. This is one of the original Arby's with the huge sign. We used to have 2 or 3 around my neighborhood but they are all gone for newer drive thru locations. The service was very good but my wife ordered two of the Classic sliders and mentioned that she wanted to confirm that they were plain and specifically said "no cheese?" We get the sliders.... with cheese of course. BUT when she took them back up, they quickly apologized and made new ones with no cheese. My Gyro was delicious as always. Have to give compliments to the team working 3pm 2/21/26. Very friendly and patient while my wife and I decided what to order. The person taking our order (Hau) was friendly, efficient, and polite. I've been around many years and have seen customer service deteriorate over the past 10 years. This team member will go far in what ever direction he chooses. I love Arby's. My local one in Hollywood just closed, and it made me sad and want to go have it for lunch. I heard that this location in Huntington Beach had an original building in the shape of a covered wagon, so I was curious to check it out. I grew up eating Arby's in the '80s, but I don't ever remember going to a covered wagon restaurant. So, I drove an hour from LA to go have lunch at this one, and it did not disappoint. It features one of the original big cowboy hat neon signs, and a covered wagon style roof. But that's not all! There's also this really cool tile floor. The staff was really great and knowledgeable about the food and very friendly. I sat for some time inside the restaurant taking in the atmosphere. I really enjoyed myself. I tried the beef and cheese sandwich for the first time with some horsey sauce. It's not my favorite, but it felt like the right thing to order in a vintage setting. The curly fries are always a must, and they did not disappoint. I really hope this restaurant stays this way forever. read more

They bring it out and mention you by name. They got my name wrong though and put Vickie. They ask what condiments you would like. Mozzarella sticks 7/10 They were edible. But tasted freezer burned. Not the best to be honest. Sadly disappointed on these. Fried mac and cheese balls 7/10 These were pretty good. The middle of the Mac and cheese was mushy tasting though. Honestly? Stopped here for the nostalgia of the Arby's I remember from years ago. Just the sign alone brings back fun memories. Throw in the fact that there's no drive-thru and the just the original design of the building, and you have an old-school Arby's. It is an older building so don't expect in the way of modern aesthetics, but this place is clean. It does have that vintage charm though. There isn't much dining inside either, but it's California so just eat outside, OK? It was in the middle of the afternoon, so they weren't busy at all. I walked in, placed my order which was simple, a roast beef sandwich combo. By the time I filled my drink (basic self-serve soda fountain, no fancy free-style machines), my order was ready. Service is definitely really fast. You can have your food in like 6 minutes. The brown sugar bacon sandwich is pretty good. I wish they can add maybe one or two more slices of tomatoes. Mozarella sticks are ok. I didn't like the outside. The fish sandwich was good. Curly fries were good; similar to what you get at high school but more on the crunchy side. Chocolate shake was good but definitely sweet. It would be better if they can decrease sweetness. Their sauces have artificial flavor so we didn't eat them. read more

I've recently learned that this is the only remaining Arby's with its original building and sign intact and there are supposedly plans to demolish it in favor of a more modern design. My husband recently picked up dinner for us at Arby's. It was not busy at this location as it is next to a newly opened In & Out and they are always packed. The food we received was horrible and very expensive. The fries were old and cold and the sandwiches had very little meat inside. Plus, it cost over $22! Wow! It appears as if they keep stuff under a heat lamp in hopes of someone walking in and to up their profit have decreased what they give you. Sad. We use to enjoy Arby's but we will not be going back. Rather than be content to do the "In N Out" thing and rest on their great roast beef, and be done with it, Arby's in recent years. This review will NOT "be shorter than most" when I'm done, so leave me alone Yelp!) They have added so many great menu items which expand their "meat" selections. Of note are a very good Gyro as well as the fresh turkey. The service as this, as at most every Arby's is pleasant, helpful and efficient. The quality of the meat, as well as the breads and rolls, is excellent, also. Of course, the Arby's sauces are legendary and which one or ones you select depend on your personal taste. The new sandwiches on King's Hawaiian bread are so good, not only because of the famous sweet baked rolls, but that they put great stuff on it. I was raised to respect the old things. The things that came before me. This Arby's certainly counts as that. It's obviously been here a very very VERY long time. From what I understand, where the iconic Arby's Hat signs were once plentiful, now they're few and far between. I pulled up and took a moment to marvel at the hat. Then I noticed the architecture. The building was crafted to resemble a Conestoga wagon. Why was it shaped like a Conestoga wagon? I don't know. But I guess that's what the really old Arby's were built to resemble. I took some photos, and then stepped inside the place to order food. Inside, they had a tile bull on the floor. Again. Why? I don't know. But way old. So I respected it and took it's picture. I suppose I should have asked the people behind the counter if they knew anything about the building they worked in. I hope to remember that next visit. The food was the food from any Arby's. I've got one just down the street, where I order the exact same items. It's Arby's food. It's good, it's pretty cheap. It fills the belly. Horsey Sauce is damned tasty. But this place has history. Probably 50ish years of history. Makes you wonder how many roast beef sandwiches have been served in that time? What cars drove up to the parking lot? What hair and clothing styles have these walls seen? There are all kinds of new places nearby you can visit. But I'm glad this place is still here.
