Service is always fast, the staff are nice. And the food is very tasty (especially their fries and burgers). Their fantastic burger (burger + bacon & avocado) and chicken sandwich are some of my favorites. The interior is a little sad and outdated, but it doesn't bother me that much. read more

While biting into my breakfast burrito, I felt something slide between my teeth. It was a long hair. The rest of the hair remained tucked deep inside the tightly wrapped burrito. Nothing has disgusted me more from a food item. The burrito was purchased on Sunday, July 26th, and it was around 10:15pm. On that evening, neither of the 2 workers I saw from the drive-thru were wearing hair nets. This place never disappoints and it's truly the most affordable place to go now! The menu shows $7.99 for a hamburger. 75c to add cheese. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries and they mentioned having a 2 for 1 deal. It ended up being only $15.83! Even cheaper than a plain hamburger on its own. What a deal! The breakfast burrito had gone up alot in price over time and the burrito has gotten smaller. They also use the tiny sausages instead of the one they use on the breakfast platter. Use to be a good value coming there. Not so much any more. read more

Just what it advertises! I love this little neighborhood diner. It's always clean, well-staffed and the service is fast. I like that they bring the food to your table. I often order the California Chicken sandwich. It's a generous portion, big enough to split. The bread bowl clam chowder is also great (only available Fridays). No frills, just a clean and consistent restaurant with good food. I'd say it's fantastic. read more

I ordered a BLT ($7.99) and added bacon ($3.00), along with a medium soda ($2.99). Everything came out fresh and exactly as expected. The BLT was tasty, well put together, and satisfying--simple diner food done right. With tax, my total came to $15.27, which feels reasonable for the portion and quality. The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well maintained. There was a good crowd for a Saturday morning, which is usually a great sign, but it didn't feel chaotic or rushed. Nothing over-the-top fancy here--just a classic café that delivers good food, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. read more

So sad!!! I was craving a breakfast burrito, but knowing I can't eat the whole thing, I asked for it to be cut and wrapped into two. I've bought this before (see previous review) and it WAS delicious!! HOWEVER... today's was less than adequate. (See photo) I heard the lady ahead of me also order breakfast burrito, but she was specifically asking for NO POTATOES!! ...which I thought was kind of extreme, but now, I'm really wondering what she actually got in her burrito because mine was almost ALL cheese & potatoes!!! In addition, the burrito is now very TINY. I probably could have eaten the entire thing now, but I started feeling full and bloated from all the carbs and cheese! If I were to guess, there MAY have been ONE chopped up link sausage in the half I ate, MAX. IDK about the other half that I tossed. I have gotten food poisoning from here twice. One time was a pastrami combo before closing and I didn't know when they closed and that was on me. I had terrible food poisoning with that. Then I had a breakfast burrito the second time I got food poisoning and it was before closing too. This time around, one of the chefs yelled something at me while the nice cashier was handing me my burrito. I have came here during the day and never got food poisoning during the day time. It seems like whoever is cooking at closing wants customers to get sick so they don't come back. read more

Love the people here, love the food and prices are reasonable. I have gotten burgers, sandwiches, soup, steak, chili, EVERYTHING is yummy. My only "ask" is for better coffee but tak8ng everything into account, that is nothing! True story, I moved, lost a purse FULL OF ALL MY SPARE KEYS to include fobs, house keys... it was awful. I have been here many times and each time the food has been good, but this last time the burger bun was saturated and soggy. Maybe they forgot to dry the lettuce or the meat vendor changed and the moisture content is higher, I'm not sure. The prices are great and the service is fast. A drive through is available too. TL;DR - I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative, this is one of my go-to spots. The interior is a little sad, but the food makes up for it. The staff is always very kind, patient, and helpful. People are complaining about the increase in prices. Hellooooooo!!! Prices have increase in all places. If you go down the street to Sunny Side Cafe you will pay $20 a plate. We tried out this place for breakfast. Sausage & Egg Sandwich $8.50 and Bacon & Egg Sandwich $8.50. I didn't like that they add lettuce and tomato on the sandwiches. Since it was our first time here and the menu doesn't mention it, that was disappointing. When you look up the menu online it doesn't mention lettuce and tomato, plus the picture doesn't show it. This place is the best! Such a huge variety of food and I haven't gotten anything I don't like. Service is always great, everyone is always friendly. My favorite item is the gyro wrap. If you haven't tried it, it's a MUST! I've only ever been inside twice, but it was cool both times. Like an old school diner, nothing extra or over the top. Very clean and lots of seating options. I have been to this cafe drive/ thru 4 times. Each time , I have ordered the same sandwich, a BLT avocado, which is on their menu board. Three out of the four times they have gotten the order wrong. I think that is pretty hard to get it wrong when I order ONE thing and they repeat my order back to me. on time I got home and I had a cheeseburger in the bag when I got home. I saved the cheeseburger and took it back the next day and they corrected their mistake but SERIOUSLY, ONE SIMPLE SANDWICH and they can't get it right? read more

What a Fantastic Place this is, Fantastic Cafe lives up to the hype with great service and Fantastic Quality Food. This is such a great place to bring your friends, and hanging out there till late night is so much fun you can have a birthday party here. My go to order is the Big West with Fries, and they are absolutely amazing. The Big West is tasty and it tastes like a Western Cheeseburger and is way better than Carls Jr, and it's made with fresh ingredients every single time. Their Fries are so good and they have an incredible seasoning to them they taste even better with the BBQ Sauce, and you need to try them out. Fantastic Cafe, is a casual diner with good food at affordable prices. They have a dine-in area and a drive-thru service. Their drive thru service can get busy but it generally moves fast. Adriana O and I usually call in our order or use their drive-thru service because is convenient and it has fast service. I will say their prices have jumped up but they are still better priced than other local places. For example, the Denver Omelette is 11.45 with taxes compared to 17.00 plus taxes and tip. Fantastic Cafe serves up a Fantastic meal, for a Fantastic price. As you can see, I have been here many times and will definitely return. If you are in the area, give them a try. Now I understand the reviews should have listened honestly. But I had made a phone order and the woman right off the bat had an attitude. Didn't think much of it until I got to the restaurant and went through the drive thru and she had an attitude too, responding back all rude when I was saying the name for the order I had placed. Fantastic cafe is one our favorite diners to enjoy a meal that is cooked to order, seasoned well, tasty and usually pretty quick. Our go-to orders include: the 3 pancake combination with eggs, sausage and toast, the ham and egg breakfast burrito, the ham and egg omelette and the chorizo burritos. Most of the time, we call to place our order ahead of time and the server had never given us more than a 15 minute estimate for all of our food to be done. I like to walk in to pay for my order and wait for it inside opposed to going thru the drive thru to pay and pick up your order - but you can pick up an order you call ahead of time through the drive thru. We've been coming here for over 2 decades to enjoy their burritos because they used to be pretty decent sized burritos for the price that they charged, but now we have noticed that it seems like the burritos are getting skinnier while their prices are still increasing. We still like the food here because the food is cooked to order, the food is still pretty reasonable and also because it is within 10 minutes of my condo I usually get their ham and egg burrito and I'm able to share half with my dog because it's so big, but today the 3 egg omelette and hash browns were not big enough to share with my dog - I came with a bigger appetite and it did look like the meal shrunk in comparison to the past serving sizes. Despite having smaller serving sizes, the food is still delicious and served fairly quickly. If you're in a hurry, be sure to place your order ahead of time because this place can get crowded! Every time I've come inside, there's always about half the restaurant full of families, enjoying their meals.
