The food here is terrible. Sandwiches have hardly anything on them, the meatball sandwich has tiny little meatballs, hardly any sauce - very dry. These sandwiches don't look anything like their pictures. Only 2 cold sandwiches on the menu and don't ask for something custom as it won't happen. Went 3 weeks ago and the kid behind the counter charged for a whole pizza vs a slice. Refunds $$ no big deal... He seemed new but the food was good so no big deal... We went back tonight being in the area and per our receipt order at 1810... 15 min goes by, they bring one sub says the other sub and wings were on the way... 15 min later still no food. Go to counter show receipt explain the issue... 20 min later the rest comes out. The person who I believe is the manger brought the stuff and said " sorry we did wrap it to go for you". If you can't figure out how to run a delivery, take out, dine in restaurant you really need to replace management and get more efficient people. As we were finishing there was a table that had left about 15 min before us. Looked like someone started clean the table as there was a rag and a bottle of cleaner sitting on it... person never came back for the cleaner or finished the table before we left... Thats a restaurant no no leaving chemicals out in public... someone needs to wipe the staff and bring a better game because the food is good, but common decency and customer service are lacking and now you are leaving a potential lawsuit if your cleaning chemicals get into the hands og a child... Placed an order at 731 pm for delivery online and at 840 pm called to find out why it was not delivered. Guy on the phone stated that the reason for the delay was the traffic was so bad that from they "just left". 40 minutes later after no delivery yet I called again and the lady stated holding her laughter stated it was delivered to another apartment and stated that I put the wrong address. One thing is I know both were lying and the only two things saved it was the manager that called me saying the driver assigned to deliver went home with an apology and the food came hot. I am not one to review a place but this experience was so exceptionally unpleasant I feel the need to do so. I've been ordering pizza and wings late night from Geno's for a few years now. I would say for a light night spot it is clutch for that. Tonight I ordered tacos (seven total) for the first time and when I got home I noticed they forgot to make the quesadilla taco. I was already bummed because after we ordered guacamole and paid they came out later to tell us they were out. Although the refunded us it was kinda a buzz kill that we would be eating them without the guacamole. When I called in to let them know they forgot the quesadilla taco they were very rude and said that they had put it in the bag. Therefore calling me a liar. I'm a fair person and again I have never been upset enough to take the time to write a review, but after they rudely hung up the phone on me (Margaret specifically), I felt the need to do this. I will not be going back to Geno's unless I receive an apology from this company. And when I say I order a lot of food from there I'm talking about 100 a week worth. Ordered online on Geno's website for delivery 2 times within the last 30 days and they messed up our order. First time pizza was not fully cooked and we did not receive our Italian sub sandwich. When food was delivered it was left on the ground outside. Delivery driver did not ring doorbell or knock on door. So food was out there for about 25 min! Called Geno's to let them know and employee was rude so we just hung up and didn't want to argue with them. Money wasted on pizza and no sub sandwich. Decided to give them another chance and ordered again online tonight 10/28/21. We ordered drinks and we did not receive them. Stopped delivery driver in driveway and he told us to contact Geno's directly and ask them for a refund. He states his order says unknown item. Called Geno's and rude employee said we need to call Splice?????? They do not have delivery drivers so they use a 3rd party company to deliver. Seriously???? I suspect this is a place that gets better the more you drink and the later it gets. I stopped in at 3:30am and got a slice to go. I wasn't drunk but it was late and although the slice looked pathetic it tasted just fine. The price was right though so I didn't feel like I got ripped off. They have a good variety in the menu so I'll likely be back at least one more time to test some more of the options. Staff were friendly and seating area was clean, bathroom was ready for a good cleaning but not disgusting. It's a one person at a time so it could be a wait if you need to use it. Ordered dinner, made sure that they delivered and we were good, yep no problem see u in 45 min. 2.25 hours later and 4 phone calls with the bullshit, ohh we are behind, ohh he's on his way, ohh we don't go to that address all of a sudden he will be there in 5 min. $120 bucks in food and guess what, they all were annoyed and ordered pizza from the bar.
